$350 for front brakes which were found to be put on backwards when later inspected by a certified dealer mechanic. Take your business elsewhere or do the work on your own if you want a better value. Do not recommend this shop with this type of outrageous conduct.

Worst experience . . . Phase 1. We asked for detailed report. Vague, lot of time diagnostic test . . Was told keys were ignition issue . Communication. Car was determined to have over a 1/2 tank of gas., Per diagnostic test. .PAID 400.00 Happy got car back it traveled less than 2 miles. failed. Sat car left i an ukn area. Mon I have walked to car 25 degrees waited, 45 mins Freezing. Did they test drive ?? Correctly. PHASE 2 another agent took over determined fuel pump needed. No gas in car, they fixed yet another charge 568. ... oh by the way you need gas soon empty we put a little gas in... OVER charged for the lack of communication within their system.

I took my truck to this shop to get my upper and lower balljoints replaced. First these guys were VERY polite and professional, the quote they gave me was exact and that was exactly what I ended up paying- not a hidden ANYTHING. The work was done exactly as fast as they said it was and done extremely well. Of the 20 shops I went for estimates these guys were the most affordable, and I highly recommend them to anyone- give them a look when you need something done right. I will be going back for anything I need from now on.

Whoever I spoke with on the phone could not give a simple answer. My daughters engine is blown on her car, Im trying to save some money by shopping around for used engines, when I told him this, he said he would only install an engine they bought, he wouldnt tell me where it would come from and what type of warranty they come with (The engines Ive found online all come from reputable companies and have great warranties) All he said was somewhere in California After I told him I was a returning customer, and that he must not want my business anymore he said Im too busy for this right right now So I told him I will never go back and will no longer refer anyone there. That was a complete waste of time calling them. Serves me right for being loyal.

No mechanic to fix AC

Horrible. I am writing this on my brothers behalf. He took his 82 Toyota truck in for a fuel pump replacement and left not being able to drive his truck home. He supplied the fuel pump so just for labor was 300. They took it upon themselves to mess with the carburetor. Fowled the plugs all it did was sputter and smoke when trying to start. 22R motors are the easiest to work on. I should have done it for him. Don’t take your vehicle there.

I love taking my cars to Ticos! Weve been using him for over 7 years and the service has always been great. Hes the most honest mechanic Ive dealt with and hes never pressured me into any unnecessary service. I drive from South Reno just for oil changes because of how confortable I am with him and his crew. They even offered me BBQ one day when I was waiting for my car. You feel like youre one of the crew when getting work done.

Took my perfectly well running car into Ticos garage to have some spark plugs and the wires put in for preventive maintenance and my car is never ran the same since it keeps tripping fuses popping fuses and now I’ve got a knock sensor that’s hitting and everything goes back towards the wire harness that they worked on the knocks sensor and the fuse I keep blown took it back to them charge me $80 to diagnostic told me it was a blown fuse my car is never ran the same since they were the last ones to touch it do not take your car thereThe check engine light kept coming on I couldn’t even register it in the cars ran fine for six years until they touched it now I had to sell my baby thank you Ticos garage

Went in to have some work done on steering wheel of my truck. Then after the work was completed it wasnt done correctly. My ignition switch is sticking and my horn does not work. After paying $200 for the job. I was told it would cost an additional $100 which I didnt pay because the job wasnt done correctly. Also l had to bring the truck in twice. I wouldnt recommend this shop.

Worked on my car brakes and didn’t install the caliper bolts so the calipers locked up the wheel when placed in reverse. Had to get a tow company to get car out of my garage. Fixed myself and had another garage inspect the work when I was told the mechanic was no longer there because he had a drinking problem.Rewired my blower motor incorrectly, had to take to another shop to fix as it melted the connections and blower motor ..$430 to fix their work. Be careful with this shop. I will post how they respond when I meet with them.Went back to the shop to discuss the issue. The owner, who I was speaking with, told me he was not the owner(lied) and said they did the work and the shop that fixed it lied..all so not true. The owner then went to the back of the shop and would not come out to meet with me.Please use cation with this repair shop!!

We have been going to Ticos for years. Ive never had a bad experience. My car is 16 years old and it runs like a new one. He keeps up with its maintenance and it has obviously paid off.

The worst the mechanics they dont know the mechanics at allI went to. with my bmw and for oil change and my brakes was ruinedthey left tools inside the engine broke parts inside ruined the screwsthey used incorrect toolsThey charge. expensive .and they did a very bad job. Tried high pressure sales tactics to get me to buy something I didnt need. Ecno lube also wanted to charge me $10 more than the price listed on sign for my model of vehicle. On the positive side they were fast.

Do Not Risk Your Life!Very unprofessional, poor customer service, they didnt installed the piece correctly and I was driving like that without knowing. Luckily I went to a different shop to have the service done and they advised me! Of course, I spent more time and money that I dont have. ☹

Unprofessional, shady auto mechanic. Tico tried to sell me on a check engine light indication being a spark plug issue when in fact I got all new spark plugs and an ignition coil a few months back from another auto mechanic. His excuse is that I couldve had wrong spark plugs installed. I told him it could be a bad gas cap, but he denied it saying that has nothing to do with it. Then he went on to say that my engine coolant overlflow tube was cut. He then said they were too busy n to come back in a week and insited on tipping them with cash or a snack for checking my car. I got sketch vibes and left. Found out my check engine light indicator was from a bad gas cap that wouldnt seal properly. And the supposed cut coolant tube was in fact a bypass valve. Dont bother with this place seems like want nickle n dime you with unnecessary fixes.

This place sucks just Tell me youre super busy and move on instead bad mouthing repair shops and autozone. My truck needed fixing so brought it to sparks repair n tire straight forward answer and prices bye bye tico liko.

Worst service, the person who attends is very rude and arrogant.I brought my car for an inspection and he told me that they had a lot of work that in an hour they could help me, I told him that it was ok, that I could wait and he told me that he was not going to take out other cars that were going to leave him more than $ 400 to put mine, just for $40 he is going to charge me, he was too rude and haughty.I do not stop in that place again
