I recently had my whole homes flooring replaced through Shepherds Carpets. Matt did the hard surface and Donny installed the carpets. The level of professionalism was outstanding! They were both very kind and easy to communicate with. My overall experience from start to finish with Shepherds was top class for customer service. I will definitely be using them again on future projects!

I love family-owned businesses. This one in particular is exceptional. The customer service is outstanding and they carry a large assortment of differing flooring options. That being said it is a small business and so its not going to be as expansive as a chain business and its options. They offer a 2% discount on cash purchases which is nice. I will happily give this company my business now and in the future.

I would recommend Shepherds Carpet. They did our main floor and basement of our home. Great competitive pricing and awsome customer service. They coordinated install even while my family and I were gone on a 2 week vacation. Came back to brand new carpet/padding.

A while back a large portion of flooring and a segment of wall had to be ripped out in our house following a flood. The restoration had two parts to it: floors and walls. Our landlord was going to take care of doing the sheet rock, texturing, painting, etc. for the walls and Shepherd’s was hired to do the floors in our bathroom and kitchen.When Shepherd’s repairman - Glade - finally came out to begin work on the floors, the walls had not yet been done. It was decided that he would go ahead and do the majority of his portion of the repair and then would return for the final touches once the walls were in and complete. I would say about 95% of the work was able to be completed but the baseboard for the new walls still needed to be installed as well as the portion of a door frame that Glade had to rip out.August 13th - The walls were complete and I called them to arrange one last appointment. I ask that Glade please call before just randomly showing up like he had done before. I also let them know that part of the tile he had laid in the bathroom is completely peeling up and needed to be fixed as well when he returned. I never heard anything back.August 21st - I called them again and they said they had no notes or any record of me calling but they would have Glade call me, which he never did.September 1st - I called again to let them know that I still hadn’t heard from him - Mckenzie told me that Glade had stopped by our home and no one was there so he left …. I asked what number he had called and she said he hadn’t called like I asked and had just stopped by. She promised that she would have Glade call me before the end of the week to schedule. I was never contacted that week … ALSO when I hung up with Mckenzie I went and checked the footage from our front door motion sensor security camera. Glade never stopped by.September 8th - I called again. I explained everything to the woman I spoke with and asked if there was anyone else who could come out and complete the work since Glade was unreliable. She said that unfortunately Glade and all of their repairmen are sub contractors and that they had already paid Glade the full amount for the job so there was nothing they could do but ask him to stop by again. At that point I was just beyond frustrated that I had been patient and done everything they had asked and they were taking zero responsibility. SHEPHERD’S was paid for the job. They took care of scheduling, supplying materials, and choosing the repairman. I really don’t care about what happens behind the scenes between them and their subcontractors or if they lose money having to pay a second person to go out to fix the mess. She said she would see what she could do about getting someone else out and that she wasn’t 100% sure what the availability looked like but would take care of it and follow up with me the next day.Based on their history, do you think anyone at Shepherd’s reached out to me this week? Nope.If I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would. They are more than happy to take your money, but actually making sure the job gets done? Apparently that’s not their problem.I have been beyond patient and understanding with them and done everything I could to be pleasant during this ordeal. A customer shouldn’t be forced into a position where they have no choice but to throw a fit to get something done.UPDATE: They finally had a different contractor stop by a couple of weeks after my initial review who looked at what needed to be fixed and made it seem like he would be back with materials. Two months later and guess who still has never been back?*** See the attached pictures for the door frame with nails sticking out and the bathroom floor with no baseboard and tiles that have peeled up.

They did three rooms and a set of stairs for us in carpet and were wonderful. They had great pricing and a wide variety of options. Will be using them for future jobs as well!

Im pretty disappointed in the vinyl tile that we got. Weve had it for 2 years. The employees at Shepherds vouched for it though the store does not offer any warranty on the product.First of all, they decided shortly before our installation that they had been having trouble with the underlayment they had been using so they just decided not to use any at all. Instead they spread a thin layer of concrete like substance over the plywood on our upstairs floor and glued the tile directly to it. Unfortunately that did nothing to smooth out the surface of the plywood so the result left our new floor looking rippled and bumpy instead of flat and smooth. I had hoped that it might flatten over time but it hasnt. Additionally the clear coating on top of the tile scratches very easily. My floor is covered in tiny hair like scratches just from daily use. You wouldnt notice them from a quick glance but theyre everywhere and give it a dingy look. The area where my garbage can sits is starting to show wear all the way through the top layer just from the garbage can being shifted slightly with use over the months. The sample piece of tile they allow you to take home while youre deciding on the product you want does not give you an accurate idea of how easily the product will wear over time once installed.Im giving two stars because we have been fairly happy with carpet that we had installed. But I feel Ive wasted thousands on the vinyl flooring in addition to all the time spent removing and replacing the baseboards. This was supposed to be an investment in our home but it just turned out looking cheap. Its a constant source of tension between me and my young kids because Im always having to get after them to be ridiculously careful not to damage the floor since we cant afford to replace it again.

They beat all other prices! Great service. We are very pleased with the end result.

Over the last 30 years or so we have purchased flooring from Shepherds many times. We have ALWAYS had a positive experience. We dont have to shop around because we know we will get great quality, service and price from Kent and his team!

Great Selection and prices. Staff is great. Owner is friendly. Installation was awesome! Glade and Rich can install vinyl planking in their sleep! They installed flooring on my whole downstairs area and kitchen/living/bathroom area and in our upstairs master bathroom. Sadly we had our other bathroom installed by someone else and it doesnt even compare. They did special calking around our tub for a professional clean look. No gapping in floor. Something I cant say about the other bathroom that has same flooring installed by someone else. Thanks Shepherds!

5 stars for price, quality, service, and installation! I had engineered hardwood installed throughout my upstairs. It is beautiful. The hardwood installer Matt is fantastic!! He is a perfectionist, no gaps, beautiful edges and stair trim.

They are so helpful and courteous, especially when you are just starting a project and dont even really know which questions to ask first. They will be with you for every step!

We purchased carpet and flooring for most of our basement. I thought the prices and service were good until after it was installed. One edge of the carpet on the stairway is still fraying at the edge. I called and was told someone would come out to check it. No one did. I went in to talk to them. I felt they were rude to me but they did send the installer who first did it out. He put about 50 staples in the edge, brushed back and forth, commented how bad it was still fraying and said he didnt know what to do about it. I suggested covering the edge with a strip, was informed he would talk to his boss about it, and have heard nothing since. After 5 weeks, I still have a carpet with a fraying edge. They later came out and put the strip over the edge (within a couple of days of my original posting of this review).

I am a homeowner looking to at tile and was told here it, I will be back in a min to see what you like and give you prices. I feel that they lack customer service. We had some question but by time they came back to us we were ready to find another company that is willing to engage in communications to help us know better what we are looking at.

We had a good experience with Shepherds previously, but we just got carpet from them for another room, and it didnt work out as well. The installer was very nice, but he took a lot longer than I was expecting mainly because he didnt bring enough carpet, and while he was here he scraped up the walls in several places. The room had just been professionally painted the week before. He also forgot to cut out the hole for the vent in the room before he left. They are nice people with good selection and prices, but Im disappointed with this recent experience .

Great selection and price. We had been thinking about replacing our family room and spare bedroom carpet for sometime (8 years old) as we hated it when we moved in, but it was new at the time. We couldnt be happier with our selection and the installation service was as good as it gets. WOW!! Thank you! See you soon for the dining room carpet.

The flooring looks great! We love how it looks. But the workers grabbed one of my boxes with my stuff in it and used it to wipe off excess sealant foam all over it. We made sure to move the stuff so that it wouldnt be in the way of the workers. So beware, The workers might touch and move your belongings. Also, they used my bathroom and didn’t flush and my place ended up smelling like urine. This put a huge damper on my feeling for Shepard’s Carpet.

The staff is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, great to work with and shoot it straight with you. I don’t feel like I’m getting the run around or being upsold. The product variety is amazing! The quality of carpet and hard flooring in our home has improved the life and value of our home. I would honestly recommend Shepherds to anyone.

I dont usually write reviews but they have the best customer service! I have come in several times for carpet or even furniture purchases. I felt they gave us an honest fair price on all purchases. Highly recommend Shepards for quality and fair prices.

We hired Shepherds Carpet to install carpet in our recently finished basement. They had the best price around, for what we felt is a better quality carpet than other dealers were selling. Overall, we have been happy with the carpet itself.We did have some complaints about the work the installer did, which I assume is an independent contractor. We first contacted Shepherds office to inform them of the issues and get the installer back to fix them. Unfortunately, we never heard back from the office about getting our punch list items fixed, at which point I left a less-then-perfect review here on Google.Shepherds has since contacted us and taken steps to resolve our concerns and make sure we are happy customers. I appreciate a company that is willing to willing to make things right, even if they didnt go perfectly at first. Mistakes happen with everybody, what matters to me is how the mistake is handled in the end. In my case, Shepherds has gone the extra mile to make sure I am happy with my purchase, and as such, I am happy to update my review to a 5-star for their willingness to stand behind their work.

We came in with measurement of one small bedroom that needed carpet. The salesman calculated costs there with us and then set up an official estimate at our house. The estimate came back in $200 higher than the salesman had told us. When I called in seeing if there was a mistake he acted like I was stupid. We will never go back there or recommend it.

I scraped up the pad in our condo the best I could. There was hardly any left on the floor when they came to install, but they used one of their tools to scrape it up. 2 weeks later they called me and said the installer spoke with me and let me know there would be a charge for scraping it up. He never spoke with me. They charged me $30 for it. They were dishonest and it was disappointing.

Buyer beware!If they install the wrong color flooring and you bring it to their attention even before the job is completed, they ask you to see if you decide to like it in a couple days. If not they will replace it. WRONG! They try to place the blame on you and refuse to replace it like they offered. They throw a small compensation at you, not close enough to repurchase and pay someone else to install the correct flooring. Leaving you with flooring through your whole house in the wrong color or the choice to bite it and start over going with someone who will stand behind their business. NEVER AGAIN will I go to Shepherds Flooring in Spanish Fork!

Poor customer service. Installer left the door open all day long let hundreds of flies in NEW house. Called about it, Kent (The owner) told me I was a liar, he said they would not do that and told me my NEW house must have a hole in it to let the flies in. They have no respect for the customer. DO Not Use!!!
