I have had the privilege of working with Ty for a while now. He is a phenomenal teacher. He creates a very family friendly environment while still having serious focus in training. I highly recommend Mountain West Grappling and Ty Hatfield. He is very qualified to teach people of all ages and skill levels. He truly is a Master among teachers.

I have been training with Sensei Ty Hatfield for over 10 years, and I recommend him because he is an excellent teacher and the best coach I could ask for. I received my 4th Dan in Hapkido under him along with other masters and a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu, soon to be a black belt in Judo. Ty is someone you can trust and he have trained with many other honored masters as well grandmasters and he have traveled to places learning from other traditional arts and trainings.
