My son has loved going to Bobby Lawrence Karate for the last year. I enrolled him when I noticed he was struggling with focus at preschool and was having a hard time attending his tumbling class because of teacher turnover.We found Bobby Lawrence Karate at the perfect time. He loves his teachers Miss Haley and Mr. Camden, they have been consistent, so personable and full of energy. He actually looks forward to going to class and has improved his focus immensely.

This is an AWESOME place to bring your children to learn Karate. I saw for myself how they teach. The children are in GOOD hands here. My cousin takes classes here and she is so happy here and working towards getting her black belt. She is only 5- LOVE THIS PLACE.

By far our favorite Karate studio. Mike and the crew are amazing with the kids. They take their time to make the kids and parents feel welcome. We look forward to going every week. The atmosphere while your at karate is wonderful. My daughter is involved with multiple sports, but going to karate is her favorite. Mostly because she loves her instructors. Our whole family trained at Bobby Lawrence Karate Spanish Fork for over 5 years. Our oldest daughter started at 4 years old and was so shy, her preschool teacher had to pry her off of me the first week of school. With in months, she was full of confidence. By the time she was 7, she was on the Leadership team and helping with younger classes. She earned her Black Belt at 8 years old and tested with mom and dad(she got her Jr. First Degree, mom got her 1st Degree and dad got his 4th Degree). We couldnt have done it without the love and support of our karate family!

Very disappointed in this place. They only care about your money. They bond you to contracts even if your child becomes uninterested. They pressure you to sign the contract. Very shady. The owner is condescending and just wants money money money!! The Gym is dirty. Very unimpressed. Worst experience I’ve had with putting my child in an activity, we won’t be back! ✌🏼

I have trained regularly at the Spanish Fork dojo for several years. The staff is highly dedicated and knowledgeable. Even though there are a lot of students, the instructors seem to know each one on an individual level.Focus is not just on martial arts skills but also on developing different life skills.Facility is large and clean.

I enrolled my 10 year old daughter in karate almost 2 years ago and she still loves karate! The instructors are amazing! My daughter struggles with self discipline and focus. Since she has been in karate her self discipline has improved and she is able to focus more in school and at home. I also love that they teach respect. We have had such a great experience with BLK. My son has ADHD, so focus is very difficult for him and when he started having problems in school, I began therapy for him, which was nice, but very expensive. When I was introduced to BLK, I was impressed by the life skills- focus, respect, confidence- that they teach. I found that he could learn the same lessons he was learning in therapy, but in a fun way that also gave him an opportunity to exercise and develop leadership skills. They also teach the kids to listen to their parents, teachers and leaders, clean their rooms, eat healthy and be a responsible member of society- all things I am trying to teach him at home. He LOVES going and when he acts out, I ask him if he wants to get his next belt up and he usually snaps out of it and listens to me. I offer tons of reinforcement for how great he’s doing so it’s been a real help for his self esteem. Everything a mom wants for her son. :)

My four year old was struggling with coordination and fine motor skills. Karate has helped her improve those skills as well as increased her confidence and self control. We have really enjoyed our experience here. The instructors have a good balance of fun and firmness that helps the children learn.

I had my son’s 8th birthday party here. It was FANTASTIC! Not only did I not have to keep the kids entertained myself but they even provided plates, forks, and napkins for the cake! The instructor (Michael) was so engaging and energetic, the kids gave him all their attention the entire hour and a half. That’s right! 90 min of 15 completely entertained kids ranging in age from 4-16. I would recommend a party here to anyone and would absolutely do it again! Thank you, Michael and BLK!

Staff are professional and friendly. Excellent programs available for a broad age range. My 3 year old is doing great, we love the discipline and respect focus in his classes. My youngest daughter was having major anger and self control issues, so looking for education, training and a physical outlet led us to Bobby Lawrence Karate. Months later my 12 year old son expressed interest and we enrolled him. He is both shy and introverted and his self confidence was pretty low. He has grown so much in the last few months in this area as well as getting healthier. He goes around the house practicing his kicks instead of walking. BLK does a 2 class private starter lesson to see if the person is truly interested. I would highly recommend this karate studio. The teachers care about the kids and are enthusiastic and fun and definitely know what they are doing.
