I never go to a mechanic for my car. I had someone look at it and basically would be over $1000. I looked over reviews and decided to go to Skiba.I got the car fixed for less than $500. This included the new part. The other quote was just for labor.They call kept me updated and got the car done fast. The alternator for OEM was $210 online. I paid $200 through Skins. Im glad I chose Skiba. There is a mechanic out there thats honest and credible.If you cant make up your mind use this review as reference. You will be satisfied.Thanks

Great guys. Took my truck in because I thought I heard something in the rear end and they tried all day to find whatever it was. Turned out to be my imagination. They could have found anything and charged me $250 but they didnt. Im thinking they found a loyal customer!

Wonderful business to work with! The Skiba technicians educated me on the repairs that needed to be done and explained why they needed to be done. They have tuned-up my van, replaced brakes, replaced a couple coolant hoses, and replaced a radiator for me. They actually had to fix what Jiffy Lube messed up on my van: front brakes always squeaked after Jiffy replaced them the brakes never squeaked after Skiba replaced them, Jiffy did a coolant flush and then I had to replace the radiator with Skiba. Skiba is my new repair go-to, not the easy drive by shop...Jiffy. They are a bit busy, but worth it, so dont procrastinate repairs. They are fair and honest. They give me rides to and from my home, which is very convenient and helpful.

Great shop. Honest trust worthy family owned business. Never had a problem with any repairs they have done. Skiba had been our family mechanic of choice for a really long time.

I took my truck in to have a leak checked. They told me they were going to check for all leaks. They determined that it was power steering and rack and pinion. Cost over 1000 to fix and I got my truck home and I still have it leaking somewhere. I feel like they may have tried to repair the wrong thing and I still have a problem. The also took over a week to repair it. Probably wont go back.I was not informed of the other leaks on my truck. Only the ones that I had fixed and thus I did not have a chance to decline fixing the other two leaks.

I have been going to Skibas for years and through multiple vehicles. They always have been helpful and friendly. If theres anything I don’t understand, they take the time to explain it. If I need a ride after I drop off my car, they always offer me a ride. They go out of their way to make a great customer experience and they know their cars!

I brought my truck into Skiba for a FASS system install. They did a great job, and also found a major issue with the truck. They called me and advised me it should be driven until it was fixed. I just bought the truck from a dealership, so figured all would be well. Skiba did the work, did it quickly, and did a great job! Very upfront and honest group of folks! Thanks guys!

Best mechanic weve ever used. They are slow (which Im guessing comes from having more loyal customers that there is time to help them all.) but they never talk us into repairs we dont need, and are always trying to find a way to save us money. Several times when I have been in a hurry I have taken my car to Big O Tires instead. Every single time they have told me that the repair would require them to replace something completely, for a lot of money. Then when I take the car to Skiba for a 2nd opinion, they tell me all it will take is to repair or replace a small part for a quarter of the price. I always feel like they are being honest with me, which is absolutely worth the wait.

I got screwed by another auto shop in Spanish Fork, and had a hard time knowing who to trust about some problems they caused with my car. Skiba on the other hand instills confidence in their work, they communicate well, give proper pricing estimates and stick to it when they can, and are humble enough to admit their mistakes.I drove out of there after a repair with a new sound coming from the car. And I called them and they said to bring it back even though they were closing for the night. They looked at it, admitted their mistake in some sort of plating placement underneath the car, and happily fixed it without charging me. It meant a lot that me that they were honest and corrected their mistake, and that is one of the things that makes me trust them. Their customers are a priority over making a few extra bucks.This place was recommended by my brother who has been going there for almost a decade, and now Im passing the same recommendation on to you. They mean well, have integrity, and will work with you and answer any and all questions you have.

I was very satisfied with the service I received here!! I had a major oil leak that (thankfully) turned out to be an easier fix than I was anticipating. When I left my car, they drove me (across the street) to work for the day. They were very kind and kept me up to date on what was going on with my car and what needed to be done to fix it.After it was fixed I went to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed. They told me my engine was leaking and later that day my check engine light came on. Turns out, my engine is NOT leaking (just covered in oil from the leak that has been fixed) and Jiffy Lube left an air hose disconnected. The guys at Skiba knew right away when they saw the problem what had happened. They reconnected the hose and didnt change me anything for the extra time they took to look at my car. They are SO nice and their prices are very fair. Take your car here!

My truck had to be towed to Skiba. We thought our transmission went out and come to find out that wasnt the problem. They found another problem with the fuel system that over the last 5 years we have tried fixing replacing the fuel pump 5 times. This company replaced the fuel pressure sensor and the truck runs perfectly. I have always had loss of power, ran through tons of gas and now all of that is gone. These guys could have taken me to the cleaner saying I needed a transmission, and all sorts of other repairs and they didnt. I completely recommend this company. I dont live close to them at all but if you are looking for a honest mechanic by far go to Skiba. Very good guys who were fast and completely honest!

I always look for good hosest mechanics. Heard good things about these guys. And they did not disappoint. I had called around for pricing for what I needed done-and they were a little lower than most and their work was quality. It was done when they said and the price did not change. I would recommend. I had about $400 worth of work done. Ill be back for other care repairs.

They put good work into what they fix and it’s of sound quality. Although I would recommend to them that they make actual appointments and not build a huge work load because it seems to interfere with quality communication.

Went for the first time today to have my safety and emissions done. They were very quick and efficient which is a must when you have kids with you. The complimentary beverages were much appreciated as well! I will definitely go back with our other cars.

At Skiba, I trust what they tell me. They are human, and make mistakes from time to time, but they ALWAYS make it right. If something will work for 6 more months, they let me know I have 6 months and to bring it back then. There are too many shops that are in the business of making money, Skiba is in the customer service business, and I feel comfortable in their hands.

Over the weekend I managed to get a hole punched in my transmission pan. When I seen the transmission fluid all over the floor of my garage I was in total panic. Nothing good can come from having that much fluid on the floor of a garage.. I called around for local repair shops. The closest said just drive it on down, Ill get to it :( maybe two to three thousand dollars .. I called Skiba and was immediately put at ease by Chase. His words Lets not panic until we look at it So I get a tow truck (roadside assistance plan) to take it to Skiba and Chase called me right back. Yup a hole in the transmission pan. The closest part is in California we will get it over night shipped here. $288.00 total with taxes. They had my car just over 24 hours and all fixed up good as new. They could have taken advantage of me so bad. I was desperate. I havent even put the permanent plates on that car yet. But they were honest, fair, trustworthy and kind. Chase thank you for being the calm on the other end of the phone. You and your shop are now in my speed dial. Thank you for your help. INTEGRITY matters.

I honestly miss dealing with Norm he was my favorite customer. It has always bothered me that I dont get the time of day anymore. I thought we had a good business relationship and always tried to make right even with things that were out of my hands. I do appreciate the business we were able to do and we continue to grow as a company and quality has and always will be our #1 priority. Sorry for the negative post as I was angry with the whole situation.

These guys get the job done, do only what needs to be done and they arent afraid to tell you that you dont need to get a job done just yet. They are always priced fairly.They always get the cars in and out of the shop fast and finish the work within the time frame they promise.

We were traveling from Valley Springs, Ca to Spanish Fork, Ut with our Southwind Motorhome and started to have fuel pump problems. SKIBA took us in on short notices to replace the fuel pump. The work required nine hours of intense labor in getting the new pump installed. Todd did a fantastic job in accomplishing a one day turn around. The whole staff were great to work with. Great Job. I highly recommend them.

I had a flat tire while pulling a loaded horse trailer. I couldnt get the spare off and I was feeling pretty helpless and stressed. I also had a plane to catch in a couple of hours. I called Skiba and explained the situation. They dropped what they were doing and came to my rescue. I cannot explain the relief I felt when he pulled up. He got the spare off and the tire changed in no time. Thank you guys, you have a customer for life!

Skiba is a great place to have your car worked on. I think you are getting honest work. I had them work on one of my cars that had lots of problems. After weeks of them working on it, they werent able to fix the problem. They called me and asked me to come pick my car up and didnt charge me anything! They said they didnt feel like they could charge me for something they couldnt fix. I dont think you will find that many places.

Took my car there, was told a lower price for oil change, of course it was almost double. Thought they were helpful and giving a complete service...my car died 2 days later and is now leaking oil, and wont start. When I called back to ask questions was treated rude and told we can tow it in at your cost and look at it.... Just what I wanted to pay the same people to break my car and charge me more!.......

They seem like good guys, but they told my uncle he had a blown head gasket and would need to spend $4k to get a new motor. Had several tests done by another shop and there are no signs of a blown head gasket. Not sure if they are just lazy, or trying to scam some old people out of $4k. Make sure you always get a second opinion!
