I only wanted to start with a small section of the floors at first to start the project and they didnt have any problems working with me on breaking up the whole project into smaller ones. We have never met a contractor that’s as accommodating and customer-oriented as Erica. She spent quite a few hours educating us about different types of LVPs and showing us samples. We solicited estimates from several contractors but Erica was the only one who provided them in detail with line by line cost for each item of work or material. At first, we were quite unsure about scope but Erica very patiently and tirelessly provided estimates with different room combinations. Throughout the whole process, she was quick to respond to all our questions and came for visits when necessary.We did have an issue with the stair steps and baseboard installation on our second floor but Erica had them fixed by sending a contractor to caulk and paint them. And when it was time to do the first floor, Erica/FCI sent what we think is their best team. We are very satisfied with the quality of their work and overall, we are really happy with our new floors!

Floor Covering International did a great job on our Kitchen and dining room floors. The cost was competitive with other bits we got. The work crew was very thoughtful to make sure the dust was controlled from entering other parts of the house and the cleanup afterward was completed satisfactory. We were very pleased that the owner was on site off and on to make sure we were happy and things were progressing correctly. This is the second time we have used this company with great results both times. We would definitely use them again.

They provided excellent advice during the initial project design, and the tile work on the floors and in the bathrooms was expertly laid. Support after the installation has also been terrific. Joe and his team installed hard wood floors throughout our home before we moved in. We needed carpet removed and hardwood floors installed due to pet allergies. The prior owners had a dog, so we needed to run ozone machines to draw out the dog odor. Through all this, we were living in a temporary residence and going on vacation before school started. Joe organized the schedule and coordinated with other vendors also working in the house at the same time. Joe came up with a schedule to ensure everything would get done in a timely manner while we were on vacation, so we could move in on time and ready for school. We really appreciate not only his organization but also the quality of work achieved. They matched the color to already installed floors and did a wonderful job with the stair cases as well. We really appreciated the great workmanship and professionalism!

We took down a wall between our kitchen and dining room. The dining room was carpet and kitchen was hardwood. The hardwood was installed by another company years ago. We contacted that company to get the same flooring for the new extended kitchen space once the wall was removed. We were told they no longer sold and installed the hardwood floor we had. We contacted Joe at Floor Coverings International. He went to work and found our hardwood floor from one of his suppliers. In a matter of days, the job was scheduled and completed. My wife and I are so excited on what an excellent job Floor Coverings International did. Looking at the floor where the wall used to be, you cannot see any difference between the old and new floor. We are so happy with this company.

Great details, great products, and excellent crew.

I was looking to install new tile floors in my house. I had a few bids and Floor Coverings International was more expensive than the others about $1,000. Joe the owner discussed their process and how it was different from others. He discussed the quality of his installers and the warranty. All great things and something I was willing to spend a little more to get. I ended up holding off to save additional funds. Then about 6 months later I received an email from Joe offering 10% off of my project. I emailed back seeing if there was a less expensive tile similar to the one I had originally selected. He said he could come over and review the bid and see if he could find me a more affordable option. I found a better-priced tile that I liked. However, when it came to the price he said he could not honor the 10% discount but could do 5%. I discussed the warranty and Installation which he assured me would be the highest standards. I agreed based on expecting a high-quality experience and installation. Joe stated a time frame of 1 week to complete my project. It took 3 weeks. Not including the additional days to fix the damaged tiles and grout issues.The installers:Did not speak English. A few of the younger guys did but they werent always there to help translate to the lead guy. They did not have high standards or any standards I constantly had to point out issues. I had to argue with the guys to replace a thin tile which was cracked. It cracked when he was installing the tile they said it was not noticeable. After a conversation which was way too long, they agreed and replaced the cracked tile.- Each day they showed up around 10 am left at 5 pm.-They used my old carpet as a pad to cover the grass. Killed a portion of my grass in my front yard. Still, have a dirt patch.- Trash and dust left all over my house. Interior and exterior. Cigarette buds left in my lawn.-My driveway has stains on it from grout cement etc the spilled on it.- They were supposed to take off my existing baseboards and replace. They left them outside it rained. Half of them wet. The broke a few and then could not remember which ones went where so they guessed. Which did not work. I ended up telling then to forget it cause it was a disaster.- Tiles are uneven in a lot of places.- There are plastic pieces sticking out of the grout.- There is glue on several tiles which I have had to scrape off.- Reinstalled my toilet. Broke something. It now just runs all the time. I have to turn off the water to it.- They did not clean up at all. The floor had a coat of dirt and dust. Left it like that. Joe came and reviewed. Looks really good his statement.Did not seem to care about my concerns or show any interest in resolving the issues.I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.

My wife and I made an appointment to have Joe Jordan, owner of the franchise, consult with us about our upcoming flooring project. He arrived 30 minutes late which was initially not a big concern. However, it became problematic when he spent most of the next hour discussing all the variables associated with a flooring project, most of which was information we already knew as we had been looking for some while before contacting FLOOR COVERINGS INTERNATIONAL. By the time Mr. Jordan got around to showing us his samples, the sun had set and there was no natural light left to see what they would actually look like in our home! The second issue we have is that there was just one product my wife and I were interested in, and for whatever reason, he had no pricing information on hand for it. He assured he would get back to us promptly about the product, but we have yet to hear back from him nearly a week later. Given the poor customer service in getting back to us on the only sample he had that we liked, and the basic oversight in not showing us any sample during daylight hours, I cannot recommend the company and can give them only a single star, though even that is a star too many.

Joe came and looked at our issues and gave us a thorough overview of their products, pricing and process. He was very personable and friendly. The work was done as promised and our floors are gorgeous! We highly recommend FCI to anyone needing new flooring!

We had an appt at 11:00 for consultation, at 11:30 the office called to say he was running late (really?!) he was just leaving other appt. Told me he would be here in 15-20 minutes. At 12:30, now 1 1/2 hrs. late, I called the office to check on where he was. She said again he was running late, then practically hung up on me telling me the office manager was trying to get ahold of me. I hung up expecting to receive call, i did not. I called back she took msg to have office manager call me. Then i received a call from a woman that said a friend gave her my number because i needed my floors done and he didnt have time to do them. She said she sometimes does floors was starting business, the friend was their consultant!!!! Not ok!!! Then later I received a call from another girl in the office told her still waiting hadnt seen or heard from consultant or received call from office manager. She apologized and asked if I would like to have the owner call me. I said yes. It is the next day I have not seen consultant, not talked to office manager and not talked to owner. So NO i would absolutely not recommend them

I absolutely loved working with Joe at Floor Coverings International. The entire process from start to finish was smooth & painless. We had part of our home flood after some recent bad rains, and the carpet in our nursery was ruined. If anyone knows how important routine and consistency is for a baby (& mother!) you can understand how frustrating it was to have uprooted our son and have him sleep in a pack n play in the guest room & all of his furniture moved out of the room. I needed carpet-fast. I called on a Monday & Joe was scheduled to come over that Tuesday morning. He ended up being able to come over Monday afternoon & brought padding & carpet samples (important since I didnt want to have to go to a showroom with a baby in tow). I was able to choose the carpet on the spot, he measured, and that evening he sent an email with the quote. He was incredibly professional in person and through the email-I am huge in customer service via email and was blown away with his thorough & professional email. I was able to approve the quote and he ordered the carpet Tuesday. On Friday his crews came over first thing in the morning-from start to finish it took under 1.5 hours to install the carpet. They moved the furniture in & out, vacuumed, & removed all trash from the room. Joe & Tiffany came by to personally check how things were going which I thought was a great touch. I loved working with Floor Coverings International and will definitely be using them again in the future if we need! Their quote was on par with other companies, but what set them a part for me was the professionalism and friendliness of Joe and the entire crew/staff I met.
