Amazing tutoring place! It has such great amenities—like a cafe that kids could get snacks from when they want to take a study break. There are tutors there who help out with anything you need and the environment is great! Everyone is super helpful. Definitely recommend.

We were looking for an course to help our son prepare for the SAT and write his college essays. After a month working at Studyology in Southlake, we have seen great progress towards our sons goals. I had put off spending the money, but now am really glad we did. Alec, the main tutor he has worked with really knows what he is doing and helped identify some key issues that were keeping your son from progressing. I get great communication from Alec and I can tell that he is excellent working with and encouraging our son. I wish we had started him in the college prep course sooner. Investing in Studyology was a really good decision.

My 16 yo son needed some help with school. Needed help organizing and having a tudor available. We found a good solution in Studyology. Alec has been very kind to us and has gotten my son plugged in. Alec told us that turning in work on time is 90% of the battle with kids and i believe that is true. He actually wants to go there after school to get his work done. He has said he wants to be a straight A student. Nice facility and the smoothie bar is sweet.

My daughter has been attending Studiology for two years already and I could not recommend it enough! She has ADHD, she has been challenging herself with many advanced classes, and her grades have improved significantly. We tried many private tutors before, but this is what works the best for her. At Studiology, she has the opportunity to work independently in a quite environment where she can focus, and she knows she can get as little or as much help as she needs, in any subject, any day of the week, including weekends. This gives her the responsibility to work independently and also to speak up for herself and learn to ask for help, when she needs it. Alec and all the teachers are very friendly and professional. They make sure she gets a lot of one to one attention, and explain everything what she doesn’t understand in class. Since she started here, she is a different student; her passion for learning is growing, she feels more confident, and she is learning to optimize her time, which is so important with her busy schedule. We have had such a good experience with this place the people are always great and so nice! We were going to Studyology before the covid pandemic happened and my child was doing so much better in school! HUGE improvement!!!! And then covid happened :-( and we took some time off and my son’s grades started dropping. He felt lost and I felt helpless, because I was unable to help him with a lot of his high school work. So we reached back out to Alec the owner, and he has been amazing!!! Alec has gone out of his way to make sure my child’s needs were taken care of. Studyology offers a great comfortable study environment where I can focus constantly and if I ever have any trouble with my subjects I can simply ask one of their staff members (all of them are awesome). Not only does it provide a study environment for me to grind out my homework but also offers great 1 on 1 sessions when I need it for upcoming calculus test or SAT prep.

My son has had a very positive experience with Studyology. My son was concerned about physics, so he worked with a tutor through Studyology. He wound up with one of the top grades in his class and passed the AP test. We signed up for a monthly membership so he will continue to have personal resources when he has questions.

Studyology and staff deserve more recognition, as their program for ACT has helped me tremendously! I really find that the environment here is relaxing and it makes me able to focus on what I need to study. Studyology reminds me of a great combination of college academic center and a student union. A great place for my kids to study in a tutor supported environment with access to a full snack/beverage cafe. The results? Steadily improving grade reports with the establishment of solid study habits.

I took the college prep class over the summer and it has really helped me get motivated and focused on applying for colleges. I am a member at Studyology, I have been there for about 4 months. Ever since I started Studyology I have seen a great improvement on my grades and exams. I go there about 2-3 times a week for help on any problems that I don’t understand, to prepare for an upcoming test or even to get a head start on future topics. Every time I come with an assignment that I don’t understand, the tutor looks at the assignment and helps me understand it with a clarified and understandable explanation. Not only do I like the tutoring sessions but, I also like the Summer camps they provide. They really help me get a good start for the upcoming school year! I attended Studyology’s College Application Workshop for guidance with my college applications and essays. Over the course of 6 scheduled sessions, we tackled and completed each aspect of the college application process in detail. Dr. Rollins was the former head of counseling at Carroll ISD, and her wealth of knowledge was instrumental in helping me complete my applications in a timely fashion. Additionally, I was able to clarify my questions regarding things the National Merit Scholarship Competition and other factors relevant to the college application process. I highly recommend Studyology’s college application workshop to anyone looking for advice with their college applications.

Studyology has been AMAZING for my son, who is an 8th grader in CISD. The tutors help him stay on track, prepare for tests, and he looks forward to going. Studyology has excellent, knowledgeable tutors available for every subject, from 7th grade Pre-Algebra to advanced levels such as Calculus. In fact, they will help students in History, Science, LA, etc. They are familiar with the CISD curriculum and surrounding districts as well, and will even give guidance on organization, improving study skills, etc. The flexible hours (M-Th 4-8 pm) and Sat & Sun afternoon hours (1-5 pm) are exactly what we need. Your child can drop in any time for as long as s/he needs, and the cost is very reasonable per month. Recently they added a little cafe with snacks, soft drinks and coffee, and there are some lounge areas in addition to the small traditional classrooms and study areas. Give it a try!!!
