I just returned from this post office and decided to share my experience with unpleasant clerk Anthony, the big guy or some people call him muscle man. I arrived at 330pm with a money order, less than $100 and ask Anthony to cash it. I am not sure if he had a bad day or thats the way he is all the times. I was told by Anthony to go to my bank and cash it there because he doesnt have any cash in his register. Then I ask him if he could ask the other two clerks if they they can possibly cash my money order, but he told me to ask them myself. I guess end of the day, tired, maybe my accent or maybe even the t-shirt I was wearing made him not willing to help me.My money order was cashed by another clerk, Andrew, who was very professional, helpful and pleasant. Wish this post office had more clerks like him. Two thumbs up for Andrew.
First off it’s difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner. We’ve had two scheduled appointments to renew my daughters passport at this facility. Both times they have sent a text cancelling at the last minute. Would have been nice to get a real reason why but won’t be fooled again here. This facility is a joke and we strongly recommend you save time and handle your business elsewhere.
Horrible customer serviceI came in for my passport appointment and they went on lunch break, I waited 20 minutes. I had to ask the guy what form I had to fill out and he pointed me to the wrong one. Finally when it was time for my appointment they told me the form I filled out wasn’t correct and I didn’t have time to fill out another before my 15 minutes were up. I waited a month for the appointment, didn’t even try to help. It was Rachel and a taller bigger guy that talked to me. Save your time and go to city hall.
Very clean and sanitized facility. Completely covered with plastic and tons of po boxes available. If you are in rush to send packages this is the USPS store for you.
This post office is pathetic circus! The “muscle-man” staff refused to stamp the postmark on the certified mail. Does it mean the post office is no longer to guarantee the certified mail to be certified anymore? I have never had such joke-alike experience at any post office in any states. If you want to have a “normal” post office service, please run away from this one!
Town Square post office is a joke! The two older white ladies are the most unpleasant individuals you ever have the displeasure of coming in contact with. God help you if you have questions or issues with packages and mail never getting to the intended location. 7 days...and counting, a package mailed to a location south of San Antonio has yet to get there. Did I mention I sent it Priority??????? It’s disgusting that they hide behind Covid to cover their incompetence!God help us if they have to process mail-in ballots. Rest assured there won’t be a decision anytime soon.
It takes a month to have passport appointment, and this people cancel it in no time. There should be something available to reschedule it.
Typical government service. Pathetic.
Good service. Quick turn around time
Very friendly staff. Also has passport service available at this location.
***DO NOT GO HERE FOR PASSPORT SERVICES*** not even worth a star rating. We went here for our daughters passport. Website says walk-ins from 8am to 1pm and we go on Saturday at 11:30am and the clerk asks if were on a list otherwise they wont be able to help us. We ask what list and that the website doesnt state we had to make an appointment. They were already with a couple and we were the only people there. We asked if they could help since we had all our forms signed and ready to go but they refused to assist. LAZIEST, WORST and RUDEST employees ever.
Received great customer service this morning while trying to update my passport. I needed a name change and tried to come prepared. I still missed the mark on some documents, but a woman was quick to help me get the right application, take my photo, and prepare it in an envelope for me to mail off because I was still missing one last document. She made the process very quick for me and relieved so much stress. I truly appreciate all of the assistance and wish I got the woman’s name. The only reason I decided to leave a four-star review over a five-star review was because the wait was a bit long even when arriving before opening hours. However, once your name is called, the service is great.
We came here to get a passport, and were pleasantly surprised. The hours posted for the post office do not reflect the hours for the passport office (they close at 3 on saturdays), the place needs a remodel, no a/c, and you mostly wander around until a friendly face offers advice. However, the people working there were friendly, helpful (even saved us some money!), and once we were called it was very quick. Also, if you know youre further down on the list you can get something to eat, sit at the park, and/or go shopping! Which is exactly what we did.
Besides The passports, I always have an easy time shipping and getting checked out quickly with them. So it just depends on what you’re there for!
Showed up at 11 on Saturday to get child’s passport renewed. Was told they could not do any more passports that. Website said passport service was available from 8 to 1. Ridiculously low quality of service. If you are not first in line when they open go somewhere else.
We went to this post office on Friday at 12:30 to get passports for our kids. Both the website and the post office say they close for passports at 3 pm. We got to the counter and the ladies told us that they could not take any more passports because they didnt have time to process them by 3? This is just not right. Its not like they actually give you a passport right at that moment. The grapevine post office says they take the last passport at 2:30 to be able to process and mail them all before closing at 3 which sounds more reasonable. Its hard enough having both parents and kids show up to get a passport for them to decide not to accept them for no reasonable reason.
Ray is the ABSOLUTE HANDS DOWN THE BEST customer service person I have ever run across! My husband agrees too. I enjoy going to the post office in Southlake just because of him. He goes above and beyond and always seems to have joy in serving. Danny is awesome too. Very friendly. (previously there was a young gal who wore a ton of rings who was HORRIBLE. She would fight with customers and refuse to serve them or scan in a package. She was nasty. I avoided her line and even let people pass me in line just to not have to work with her. Havent seen her in a while.Ray needs a promotion and a pay raise.(Shelly & Peter) Southlake(this is posted under my sons google id)
I went to this branch for the first time on 12/20/11 and the place was packed. There were three employees at the window, but one in particular was working fast, efficiently and cheerfully. His name was Cedric Edmon and he was a gem! He had a kind word for everyone, was helping twice as many patrons as the other two working and had a smile on his face! Kudos to Cedric!
The phone system here is the most horrid I have ever experienced there is no way for me to speak with anyone. No option to press speak with operator. I mean really sorry System!
I was very pleased with Antonio. He answered all my questions regarding my packet. Even though the package still hasnt arrived, and there has been technical difficulties with the US postal service in general, this post office is very customer friendly!
This is one of the better run post offices. Its all relative folks. Until you see how bad it can be with another post office, youll realize the service at this one is excellent. The counter service here is very good and they are generally helpful. The back office and mail delivery is ok/good but not as good as counter service. If you are doing your passports - get it done with Rachel...she is helpful and knowledgeable but even she has to follow the rules on submission so if you are missing paper work or something is not right, thats not their fault...they cant accept it.
This place doesnt even deserve a star! Theyre customer service is just about the worst Ive ever experienced, twice. Trying to get a passport here is near impossible. So to save you time and details just do not waste your time here at all! Go to the county court house instead, no matter what the line is there, it is still more efficient than the post office!
When you have someone managing a post office you would expect they would understand how to make the proper decisions to better help and serve their customers. Nope not here. I have a ups store mail box in Dallas and they seam to get it. Take your business to the ups store or somewhere else as this place is incompetent.
Avoid the US Post Office if at all possible. Priority Mail 2-day does not mean two day. It simply means they may deliver it some day. The tracking number cannot be tracked to actually tell you why it did not arrive on time. The Post office cannot tell you where the package is or when the package will arrive. This is the second shipment of the same item. The first shipment is completely lost. They have no idea where it is.
If I could give zero stars I would. Went to get a passport & it is supposed to open at 9:30am. Got there not only to find out it wasnt open yet, but that the person in charge of passports has not arrived. No one has answers as to when the person is coming or what is going on. Poor customer service. Definitely go somewhere else for one.
This is without doubt the worst place I have ever been to. I would never wish upon anyone to go into this building. I sat for 2 hours waiting on a passport as the employee kept helping walk ins as opposed to making them wait in line like everyone else. Then after the 2 hours of waiting, she decided that it was a great time to take a lunch break with 10 people on the list because that makes sense....right? Bottom line is, if you are getting a passport....for the love of god do not go here. You will completely and utterly destroy your life by doing so. I would rather shave my eyeballs than go back here.“Thank you.”You’re very welcome!
Went to post offices in grapevine and in Southlake, advertising walk ins, 1 is short handed stated go to Southlake. Drive over and was told they are too busy and closing soon.
I don’t normally review places at all, but this place sucked so bad that I really just had to say something and warn others. My girlfriend and I had come to this post office about FOUR times just for our passports. Their passport office had said it closed at 4pm everyday, so we came back at 2pm the next day. One of the postal workers had told us that they closed early. They also kept changing the hours of which they told us the office is supposed to close. The next day, my girlfriend called at 11 to see if they were open and they said they were, so we drove all the way up there for them to be closed around late 12. Best chance is to get there between 8-10am because it seems that they only like to stay open for about 2 hours. The process of getting the passports was pretty smooth but hassle of the post office and the passport office (closing earlier than they should) was almost so much of a hassle that it wasn’t worth it. This placed sucked. They really just make up the rules and the hours and do what they want there. My friend had also texted me today saying he got there at 10:32am and the passport office was already closed. Lmao what a joke. This place really sucks, man. Godspeed to anyone else who finds themselves at this location looking for a passport.
After picking up my three children early from school, taking the night off from work and having my wife take the afternoon off we arrived just before 3pm and were told the passport office closed at 3. Website states passport applications are taken until 4.Please change your website or stop closing early.
Claudia went completely postal on me today! This is why Fed Ex and UPS are so so successful. Yes, I showed up 5 minutes before close. Yes, I asked to use her pen. That does not give her the right to reprimand me, a customer, especially loudly in front of others. She was obviously having a bad day and taking it out on everyone there including a man who made the cardinal sin of asking for a clear pouch for his mailing label. Trying to recover from that experience and get back to my good day!
I tried a couple of other numbers...getting a response from this number was an extreme pleasure! The young lady I spoke with was great...gave the information I requested without fanfare...you got it girl...you should be training others so they know how this is done!
This is the worst post office ever. I keep mailing stuff from here, and it takes forever to arrive. One letter mailed from southlake to fort worth took 10 days. Another to the west coast, 14 days. And recently mailed to keller on 6/20; still hasnt arrived. Dont mail anything important or time-sensitive from this location.
Give me my 2 hours back! Called ahead to make sure we had everything set to get a passport. Information regarding photographs given over the phone was wrong, so when it finally was our turn we got nothing accomplished, I just wasted my day. Now we have to go back. Ridiculous. Go somewhere else.
I don’t understand why we are unable to get critical items delivered such as driver’s licenses and passport s!!! On the other hand we get all kinds of mail that is not ours.
Wow!!!!!unbelievably the worst customer service in my life . The passport service is so bad their due to management by James (The manager)He feels like he owns the post office.Opens the doors late closes the passport section early. How can anyone ever get anything done with a service like that. I have been turned away 3 Saturdays in a row no matter what time i get their he always has an excuse to turn me down.If you see a manger named james next time your in the post office tell him aurora said .Hes still the worst Incompetent Manager ive ever meet
DO NOT GO HERE, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and the place is a joke and the staff is rude and disrespectful. I came to apply for a passport. I have everything filled out copied and ready to process. At the time I was the ONLY PERSON in the store. She flat out said I was in the wrong building. There is a huge sign on the door CLEARLY MARKED that they process passport applications until 3pm. I pointed out the sign. She then told me she is too short staffed to process my request. I looked around and spoke aloud my observation that im the only one here she then began to tell at me telling me she wont help me. She spent a good 5 min arguing with me and then went to the back. Another lady came out asked if she could help. I told her what I needed. She said we dont have enough staff to process your request and then got angry and yelled at me when I told her they needed to stop advertising themelves as a place who processes new passports. I am not a fan of the USPS and will NOT use them for anything if I can absolutely avoid it. THERE ARE PLEANTY OF OTHER COMPANIES TO CHOSE FROM WHO CAN SEND PACKAGES. I am a consumer treat me like your job depends on it because at the end of the day its DOES!! No wonder USPS is doing badly.
THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!!! I called about my package earlier today to see if it had left the post office or if it was still there. I wanted to hold the package and pick it up. After calling 10 times only to hear a dial tone (phone off the hook) I called their customer service only to be bombarded with advertisements for the services they provide for two minutes (which I couldnt skip). After finally getting through those ads I was then asked for my question I was happy thinking that I could finally get some information. But the computer only restated what I already knew and then said if you need further assistance go to our website only to hang up on me. I called two other locations both of which rang for 5+ minutes then forwarded me to their customer service line. I then called the Southlake number 5 more times I finally reaching someone, only to tell me in a snarky, annoyed tone that the package had already left. She told me to check the webpage but the webpage had no information loaded about the package other than that it had reached the post office. Anyways Im done with USPS unless I HAVE TO USE THEM THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!
These government employees will NOT answer their phones ! passport service SUCKS at best ! I wish the postal service would just shut the doors !
The staff is super friendly, fast and helpful!
Always busy and always friendly. Been using this location since we moved to Southlake in 2000.
Waited 2.5 hours to apply for a passport. Finally left.
Wouldnt recommend you ever utilize USPS for any urgent delivery. Failed to deliver an overnight package, noted that delivery was attempted on the tracking number - basically, they lied and forgot to deliver, failed to leave a notice, failed to take accountability.
Worst service imaginable. How they have not fired everyone and restructured at this location is beyond me. Seriously avoid like the plague. Also if you dont have a local number they will pick up and hang up on you.
Website said passport office here. Paper sign in lobby says Passport Office is Closed. Not just for lunch
This is an older post office location but conveniently located in Town Square. Parking is a little difficult so you may need to walk a few minutes to this location.
Great customer service. We go to the Southlake post office frequently and our packages are always delivered on time.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I came to POST OFFICE to BUY stamps and the CLERK could not even help me!! pointed me to a kiosk. I stood in line ON PURPOSE as the kiosk did not have postcard stamps. I came back to counter and was asked to get BACK IN LINE! I SUGGEST NOT USING SOUTHLAKE USPS!!
Horrible customer service. Workers just standing around doing nothing while the line grows.
They lose packages and take zero responsibility for their mistakes. You are better off using UPS or FedEx.
Reached the office at 1:01pm on a Sat and the rep was rude and literally shut the door on me. Horrible customer service, will never go there again....
I moved from Southlake over three months ago. I had to fill out the change of address forms three times, I have talked to them twice on the phone and I still get notices that my packages are being delivered to my old Southlake address. When theses packages were ordered they were giving my new address in Coppell, but someone has forgotten to change the address in the delivery system and they route it to Southlake. They just dont seem to care.
Small town, sometimes long lines but friendly!
They make excuses as to why they cant do passports ; photo doesnt work or just we are to busy we have stopped doing them for the day.
Bad service and closes earlier than what they have on the website
The worst customer service I have ever heard!!! Just called about passport renewal and the lady was so rude and could not give me a straight answer. I wouldnt even consider going to this facility!!
I love the US Postal Service
Never any priority mail envelopes available. They dont keep them stocked, or they let people take them in multitudes. Lines are ridiculous.
Sent some packages back to amazon.
Worst wait time :(
Meh
Standard post office
Great
