Renter beware, get everything in writing when dealing with this company.Equipment was in good working condition which is why they receive 2 stars. When renting on a Saturday I was told that the weekend rental rate would apply and to return the equipment on Monday, which to most normal people would usually indicate during business hours on Monday. Monday I returned the equipment during lunch from work and was told by another sales representative that I would be charged late fees due to not returning the equipment by 9 AM.I was never provided an initial contract and when I was given the final contract and statement of charges (probably a warning sign that this is provided after your rental return) there were no posted hours for equipment return. Maybe its my own fault for thinking that I was dealing with a local business that had a basic return policy, but when I mentioned that no time had been provided at rental, they just told me that it was still late and that that is the way weekend rentals work.Im sure that some people have a decent experience but I was incredibly unimpressed with this service and will not be renting from them again.

They delivered equipment on Saturday at 12pm. Said they would pick it up Monday 9am. Didnt explain much about the equipment . It was in poor condition . Did not tell me it was only supposed to be used 8 hours . Rented from them for years. Now Im not allowed to rent from them anymore because I told them the equipment was in poor condition. Disappointed customer.

Effortless rental process on large equipment. Just dont show up assuming the equipment you need is available. I called several days in advance to check availability and schedule my rental.

This is my first time renting here and I was surprised how busy it was and the number of employees that were there to take care of us. The weight was short and Xavier was exceptional! I highly recommend these guys.

Carla was always responsive and helpful in the months leading up to the big day, and everything was delivered and picked up in a timely manner on the weekend of our wedding. Everything we rented was of great quality, and their prices are competitive in comparison to other wedding rental companies. I really enjoyed working with Richmond Rentals and would definitely recommend contacting them for party rental items!

Ive been using Richmond Rentals for years. I can honestly say I have no complaints. The staff is great and the products Ive rented have always been in great shape. No matter if its power equipment or tables they never let you down.

I checked with other local rental companies in the area while planning our wedding. Richmond Rentals beat all competitors prices by far. The tent was clean, the linen was crisp and white, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any scheduling problems with the venue. If possible I would give them 10 stars!! Highly recommend for any rental needs!

Front desk people were nice and helpful but the equipment is not well maintained. Told manager that it did not work well and he responded that others didn’t complain so it must be me. The skid steer wouldn’t even scrape the grass without digging in too deep. When angle to just scrape, bucket would float over without scraping. When it did scrape it would scrape much lower on right than left and dig due to the bucket angle. Again, this my fault according to manager via phone on 01/26/2018. Now looking for other place to rent equipment.

We had no problems picking up the painter we reserved 2 weeks in advance. We had 10 gallons of paint ready for our house and two out buildings. After we got the house painted we moved over to the workshop. It quit working! We took it apart and cleaned it, ran it with water, everything worked well! Poured out the water and poured in the paint....it did not work.We called Richmond Rentals and went over everything with the guys. They made some suggestions and we hung up and tried them. Again, it didnt work. We cleaned it out again and took it to Richmond Rentals and they worked on it. They said that was the best they could do and we took it home, still it did not work. So, we took it back to them and settled up. Even though we reserved it for two days, they only charged us 1/2 day. This was very fair, what wasnt fair was that Richmond Rental rented us an inferior the piece of equipment.All in all, it cost us 1/2 day of work we could have done on the house.

I really like the guys that work there. Well, it depends who you catch, but overall, all of them are awesome to do business with. I suggest you call to reserve the item beforehand. The prices are decent. Have your DL for the first visit to set up your account. They have good selection of equipment. I have rented multiple times and never had an issue with the rentals.

I have been renting from Richmond Rentals for a few years. They have always had all the party items, such as tents, tables, chairs and linens, that I needed. The ladies in the party room are very helpful and friendly! I have also had several pieces of equipment fixed and returned in a timely manner. The guys at the equipment counter that helped me were also very friendly and helpful!

Richmond Rentals Tents & Events provided exceptional service for the recent bridal shower I hosted. They had everything we needed from the elegant tents to all of the beautiful serving pieces. This place is okay but recently I rented a weed eater for the weekend and was quoted a price for it, paid with my credit card when I took it on Saturday and then when I brought it back on Monday I was charged an additional amount. if I was quoted the correct price in the first place I may not have opted to keep it the whole weekend because almost $50 for a weed eater for the weekend as a little outrageous

Document your conversations. I was told a 2-3 day turnaround on my equipment repair and a week later I was told it was going to be another week. Fortunately, I documented my initial conversations and did not get lost in the shuffle. I asked for Phil, who initially took my order and he took responsibility. He had my job finished by the next day.Customer service is everything and they almost lost a customer...thank you Phil!!!

Folks here are consistetnly helpful and equipment ready to run.

Had an event this past weekend and reserved enough tables and chairs for over 70 people. We paid over a month ago and had the reservation in place. We arrived to pickup the rented items and they informed us that several of the tables had been given to someone else.Rather than give us a discount we were given different tables that were scratched up wooden-tops and did not match the other tables. They did not offer to refund any money, so we still paid full price for the white tables we did NOT receive.With so many people coming, we had no choice but to accept this poor business and move on. That will not happen again. Plenty of places in Fayetteville (Saams Party Tents is awesome) will gladly deliver to Moore co. Its unfortunate that because they are the only local company, they would treat paying customers this way.We will never make the mistake of dealing with Richmond again, which is really a shame. Poor business practice to give away someones PAID rental and not offer any sort of discount!

For a small town business they are not very flexible or helpful with their rental hours. Decent prices but perhaps they should figure out a system to pro-rate rather than having a customer overpay. Took my business elsewhere.

I was a customer for 6years now Im a employee and there are great group of people to work for and with the owner Hal is a great guy. The prices are fair and equipment is too notch I would recommend every to go there for there needs.
