Both my husband and I decided it was time to get in good shape and take our health seriously. Especially with all the circumstances within the last few years. We are both retired and love the ease of using this gym. Everyone is sooo helpful and I LOVE THE POOLS. Best decision ever. 👏 5 stars.

Love how the whole gym is so clean and inviting. The updates that have been made over the last few years really bring life and energy to the gym.So happy to be working with Nicole!! She is truly one of the best trainers out there. The whole team is great, but she is the only one I have had the pleasure of working with one on one. You all have done incredibly well finding your employees and training them to be so awesome!

By far the best gym I’ve been apart of. All staff are so friendly, tons of equipment, great classes and Nathan is an amazing trainer that I’ve really enjoyed working with. 100% worth the investment!

The fact I am a insanely fat. The staff along with the trainers don’t look at me weird. They all are very encouraging and not pushy at all. Nicole who is my personal trainer is awesome!

Came in there two weeks ago and bought their personal training package. My trainer Nathan has been awesome to work with. He is very passionate about his job and loves helping people. I have a few injuries that I am dealing with and Nathan has been targeting those areas with weights and stretching to strengthen myself to avoid future injuries. He is very knowledgeable in sports related conditioning. I have never worked out in my life. The term working out sounds like a lot of dreadful work. However, I am actually enjoying this and doesnt feel like work. Thank you DAC for assigning Nathan as my personal trainer and I look forward to continuing to achieve my personal health goals!

I love it here! They offer many amenities, so theres something for everyone. The trainers are great! I really have been enjoying the group training. It was easy to jump in as a beginner; everyone was welcoming and helpful and the trainers make sure to give you extra attention until you know what youre doing.

Nice gym. A bit crowded. I have to find the sweet time to visit. But theres no gym like it around me. Waiting for the YMCA Whitehaven location to open back up.

I like the gym, but child care only goes until 1 on Saturdays. It would be nice if they had it until 4 at least! Weekends are really the only time I am able to get to the gym and the afternoon is the only time I have due to scheduling. For the price it would be nice to have more availability on Saturdays for child care.

So I have been a member since 2012. Ive always paid my account and never before Now had any trouble. In 2018 I had shoulder surgery twice and now have a back injury. I havent been there in about a year and a half ( thinking I would get to go back) and they have still been debiting my account. They received money for services they didnt have to provide. So I called a couple of months back and wanted to cancel. They WOULDNT do it over the phone. So about a month or so later my card got hacked and I had to get a new one notifying everybody I could remember, with them I considered the matter closed. They didnt. They kept charging me. So They call me and want money. I told them again what transpired and they said sorry but its company policy. Yet they changed the Company Policy to let me cancel over the phone once I paid them! The Dac has poor customer service, no loyalty considerations and doesnt know how to take care of their customers. This is not an attack on the employees but rather the ownership and his way of doing business.

DAC has such a variety of clientele. I feel comfortable bringing my kids there. My kids always have a blast. I continually see the lm cleaning which makes me feel safe. I love all the amenities!

Love DACPlenty of options to choose from when I go. From swimming to just a casual play of wall ball.listen to your body.

This gym is like no other. You commit to a one year contract and if you move 25 mile or more away and can prove it, it’s no penalty against you which was the first thing I was concerned about. Then the gym it’s self has much to offer it has indoor track, in & out pools dress-room is nice & the ladies clean up behind their self. The cleaning staff is nice. There are Two sides for working out also and you can basically go at your pace with out feeling like your in the way. And the other great amenities to sale you on. They also have high cost trainers.

Its convenient and has equipment for just about everything. Swimming, Running, Weights, Cardio, Racquetball, Various Fitness Classes, Tanning, Child Care, Smoothie Bar, etc. Its a one stop shop! There is something for everyone no matter your skill or fitness level. I love the classes and the trainers are amazing! The staff is always friendly and available. You just need to add kickboxing bags or classes!!

This gym is one of the most unorganized and unprofessional places I have ever been. If you want to take their classes you have to validate the schedule between their printed calendar, their app, and their staff because odds are 2 out of the 3 are incorrect. I think the staff means well but most of the time they seem like the problems in their systems are not a big deal and dont seem to care to correct them. I tried leaving my child in the child care area but the staff their are not very observant and I felt uncomfortable leaving my child alone with them. Someone could easily just walk in or out... These kind of behaviors are really unacceptable given the fact that I am paying $80 a month for gym membership and childcare. This place needs to have some serious changes in how it is run or I foresee them loosing a lot of business in the future. Just a warning to anyone looking to join this place.

I love everything about DAC. I have been a member at Planet Fitness, Janes Gym and Orange Theory. DAC has all of those offerings rolled up into one. I love the trainers and the classes. All of the staff are courteous and professional. I love training with Judy and I am totally hooked on the strawberry slim smoothies!

I’ll give it 5 stars because of Haley Gurkin very professional and customer service was on point. I’m pretty sure we will love it here .

The regional manager Amy clearly doesn’t like minorities or care for Mexicans. All of my friends for years have came here in slides for no problems. She followed me to the other room just to vibrate on the machine they got I haven’t even broke sweat or work out and she tried to kick me out. Because I wouldn’t give her my name or a real response . Just ask me nicely and I’ll stop I did nothing to you ma’am idk what you got against us but this isn’t the first time.

Keep up the good work. Great clean place with friendly staff!

Everything you will want and need at a gym. Indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, personal training, group classes, etc.

I love the people!!! Everyone cares and goes above and beyond to answer any question I may have. The motivation and support from the trainers/instructors has tremendously helped me in taking care of my body, the correct way. I see so much improvement in my mobility its just unbelievable. All of this help given to me on just a monthly gym membership is amazing!!! DAC member for life!!!! I love yall and THANK YOU!!!!!!

Best place ever to get mucles

They keep charging you no matter how many times you cancel. My wife stopped going in February of 2020 when we cancelled (Covid was coming and we obviously cancelled). We have filled out cancellation forms and called to cancel. It is now the end of August 2021 and Tasha, head of billing, has just told us she cannot find the cancellation forms so to bad for us. She made no attempt to make it right (the constant charges and hassle) and basically blamed us. She conceded that my wife has not been in for over a year and a half but did not care that they are taking our money anyway. She wants emails now, so we will send that as well as this for documentation for legal action if they charge us again. Please let me know with a reply or like if you have similar problems so we can start a class action against this place.

This is a great place for a reasonable price. I love them because they have everything. The outdoor and indoor pool area is my favorite. Wish the Sauna and hot tub would open back up. I understand why they are closed but maybe they could open back up with limited 2 people at a time for social distances reason. Wish I would have join sooner.

I love the entire DAC atmosphere and environment. Its one that fosters growth, pushing beyond limits and positive in nature. Id highly recommend a membership and getting personal or team trainings. This is where Ive seen my greatest results in the last 4 months. I love it here.

I took a 🌟 away due to DAC not enforcing more mask wearing. Theres only a few people besides the ones that work there wears a mask. Ive been very tempted to cancel my membership for this reason, right now Im only using the walking trail with my mask on. Other than for this reason I love DAC!!

The greatest experience I’ve ever had.I love love love their smoothie bar.They offer some of the best equipment to get you to the next level.They even have a indoor track inside.It’s certainly once again one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had.

This gym is overall a good place. I was a member once but left because of the overcrowding during the beginning of the year. Hopefully it isnt that bad next year but they have made alot of improvements since I was last a member. My girls love it here and I love the team classes.

I started my DAC experience December of 2019. I stopped going once everything shut down for Covid in March of 2020 and I continued paying because I knew I had a year contract. HOWEVER my contract was automatically renewed by DAC without my permission!! It even said in the contract details of my app that it was not on “Auto-Renew” (although Tasha told me it was automatically done?). I requested a refund and was told they don’t give out refunds and asked me to write a letter stating I want to cancel my contract—which is a little insane considering a phone call should be enough to give notice. My letter apparently hasn’t been received because I was charged again for $78 which is almost $30 more than my contract price. It’s absolutely ridiculous and the business office has been no help whatsoever. I don’t recommend getting tied to this gym.

The atmosphere is great for motivation if you have a competitive side and also if you don’t. Has great options for pre and post workout nutrition (pre-workout and protein shakes galore). It’s clean, ton of equipment for whatever body part your doing, CrossFit side, pools, spin, you name it they have it for whatever your fitness needs/interests are. I drive 35 mins almost every day to go to this gym when I have an la fitness literally a mile up the street, that’s how much I like it. I definitely recommend this place!

Very nice facility. Swimming, jogging, racquet ball, cross fit area, spin classes, yoga-exersise classes. Anything you require to meet you fitness goals they have. Management and the team make it for an enjoyable visit.

Loved the classes and instructors but the business office is shady. Canceled membership and will not be back.

I love this gym. It is like family to me. There is so much variety here that if you cant find something to do, then you just dont want to work out. The workers are so sweet, the shakes are delicious, and the machines are well kept. Thank you so much for reopening after COVID!!!!

Do Not, as I repeat Do Not pick this place for as a personal trainer with a contract that I had sign by Gene Perepichay that I have the right to cancel at anytime per Gene nothing about given a 30 days notice but the right to cancel at anytime! now Tash calling me with I didn’t give my notice until June before I mail the contract she rudely didn’t have much to say no more than PT contracts can’t be canceled! phone DAC, email, spoke with Gene and Joel before the COVID-19 started about cancellation per Tash she never received anything until I sent her the Contract sign by Gene Perepichay that I can cancel at anytime first she didn’t even believe me until I mail her the contract and now she phone with I have to pay 2 months that’s not the agreement Gene Perepichay and I had, I’m prepared to go to Court. Gene Perepichay and Joel discuss this agreement so we all can have our day in court.

I love the people. They are nice and friendly. I love the selection of machines on the workout floor and variety of classes. I also like that there is an indoor and outdoor pool for year round swimming and childcare if needed. The childcare option was one of the top reasons that I joined and the classes.

Nice gym but the sales staff was rude and conveniently forgot to mention a TON of extra fees until after I signed up and I am now stuck in a year contract that there is literally NO WAY to get out of.

Love it here! The DAC is the best fitness center Ive been a member with. I love the sauna, massage table, pool. many different classes and abundance of exercise equipment available. The smoothies are the best. Great staff. Im hooked.

When I started my weight-loss journey 6 months ago, after touring the DAC I knew there was no other place for me. The staff are always kind, and accommodating. I love the fact that there is child care right on site which is such a huge convenience with 3 children. All the instructors will work with any injuries, and are understanding. All the classes are engaging, and fun. Always leaving me excited to return the next visit!!!

DAC is a very welcoming environment. Not only that but its clean and has very many options to choose from for exercising and becoming a healthier you. The trainers are awesome and encouraging. Its definitely not a boring place to exercise, it makes exercising fun! The prices they have for everything they offer is NOT bad at all, youre getting what you pay for and more! Ive already recommend many of my friends and family that have joined which got me some points towards rewards from the DAC!!!

My wife and I have had a very good experience at the DAC. All of the staff is extremely helpful and friendly plus we love that they have so many fitness options.

Its clean. Girls at the front desk are friendly and vivacious. Thank its open. I missed using the pool.

Indoor pool and hot tub. Outdoor pool. An indoor walking track. Saunas and showers. Tanning beds. A shake bar for post workout. Kids can go 8-1 and 3-8 Monday thru Friday. They have a commercial equipment side and a more “cross fit” training side. They updated a lot of pieces last year which I’m really impressed with. The group classes are always going. I don’t personally do them but the trainers always talk to me and help if I ask for tips. Lots of bang for your buck. Only open 10-6 on sundays and not opened 24/7 but I can sacrifice the hours for the quality I’m getting when it is open. Love this gym!

Always greeted with a smile, positive attitude and “have a good day” when you leave. All staff are happy to help with any questions and with all the options they are happy to help you decide where to start if you need help. Large variety of class from beginner to advanced.

I’ve been a member of this gym for almost 4 years and I ❤️ It!! I enjoy everything this club has to offer! The selection and flexibility of the group fitness classes offered is amazing. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. And for all of the amenities offered, the membership pricing cannot be beat!!

The friendly and welcoming atmosphere is a notable feature at the DAC. The staff is ready to assist with any questions you may have. The facility itself maintains and updates all equipment on a regular basis. I have had membership in several other gyms in this area but the DAC is truly the leader of the pack.

Decent gym at most.. If you want to try making some new friends/work out buddies dont come to this Gym though. Most people are insanely rude if you even look at them for one second. Dont get me started on one of the workers there which name I wont be listing to privacy reasons. Said I could pass for free & then charged me $35.00 for a guest although I had a guest pass.. My friend never came back after that. My brother decided to cancel and let me just say.. They REFUSED to let him until he had to clock out of his own work to go to them him self just to force a cancel. Been at this gym for 2-3 years, so yeah. At first it was amazing, but the workers & people there arent the best people. Edit: Dont let my message sway you away though, it still has potential if they fire some of the bad employees. Some of the old ones are outstanding.

If you like being in the water this is definitely the place to be. The sauna is good for my arthritis and the pool is good for aqua therapy. I definitely recommend DeSoto athletic club with two thumbs up.

I came to the DAC to get motivated and to relieve stress. At first, I didn’t know anybody. Now, I’m meeting all types of people with different goals! Staff is so sweet and accommodating to me a always! The only thing I wish is for the facility to be open 24/7. With a crazy work schedule for me and school full time, I can only come on my off days. Nonetheless, I always feel accomplished here and strive to make a fitness plan. Some staff that have stood out to me are tori, Lindsay, Dylan, and Brittany at the front desk!! They are so nice to me.

I have been going to DAC Fitness ever since I was a child with my parents. DAC has really grown and improved each year with new equipment, new classes, etc. I love everything about DAC! The friendliness, cleanliness, kindness, and general camaraderie! What a great gym! They go above and beyond to make each member feel welcomed!

Truthfully, Desoto Athletic Club got one star from me because no stars isn’t an option. They have the worst customer service representatives. They are rude people who aren’t willing to help their customers at all. They find new ways to screw me over every month on my billing. Hidden fees+additional fees. The only reason I still pay them for their service is because of a one year contract. I regret signing a contract with this gym and strongly encourage people who are looking for a gym to keep looking and don’t settle here.

Beat gym around. Constantly updating equipment. They have equipment you won’t find anywhere else and you can’t beat the price. They have something for everyone.

5 STARS plus... They have something for everyone in my house. We have 5 memberships. My 2 sons, my daughter, my sister and myself. We range from hardcore workout - bodybuilding and cardio to leisure saunas and the pools.

Really a great place to exercise and relax. They offer something for everyone. Regardless of your age you will enjoy it. The staff is always so helpful.

Good for people already on fitness journey. I was not prepared for the training or classes. I am an uncoordinated person, however. Others would have a better time. My daughter did well, and we loved her trainer.
