I worked with Julie and she was funny, encouraging, helpful and all around lovely. 100% responsive to emails, questions and had 3 trucks I could work with when I got there. Their online appointment system was easy to use, and when I called and explained that we were currently on the road, they went out of their way to get us a same day appointment. I have been going here for service since 1997. Bought my latest truck there in 2012. Still going there. They take very good care of me and I trust them. Its nice when you walk in and people that dont even work the service desk call you by name. When necessary, I get shuttled to work. If they need my vehicle longer, I get a car to use. Why go somewhere else?? They dont do work thats not needed. They always talk to me first before proceeding. If something can be fixed instead of replacing, they do that!

When you go to Yankee Ford you getting dressed the best service in town whether youre buying a car or getting your car repaired. They treat each and every person as if theyre a VIP and their prices are reasonable. I have been a customer more than 10 years so I speak from experience.

I was able to schedule an on-line appointment on the same day I booked it and I received a confirmation notice...I thought that was a little odd and of course, when I arrived I was told they were double booked because they have not worked out the on-line appointments yet. The team was very apologetic for my inconvenience and more than willing to fit me in but I opted to make another appointment. For my person-person scheduled appointment, everything went great. Easy in - easy out. Professional and very efficient. I ran a few errands in the neighborhood and I was called when my car was ready.

Yankee Fords service was excellent and the cost was very reasonable. They took care of my Mustangs air bag recall as well as a few other issues on my older car. Will return for service and would recommend to anyone needing vehicle service.

Got a call Saturday saying they found what I was looking for. Went in that morning and left a short while later with exactly what I wanted. I’ve been going here to get my Super Duty serviced and warranty work done since I moved here three years ago. The technicians are top notch and always get it right on the first try. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Brian who’s taken exceptional care of me while I’ve been stationed here.

I had to wait a week plus when I bought my Jeep for them to get something fixed (they said if it wasn’t fixed it would be really loud) and within two months my Jeep’s muffler starting gradually getting louder. And now today I found out that a part on my exhaust broke into two and it’s not covered under the extended warranty that I bought through them. I guess the joke is on me. I won’t be doing business with them anymore.

Scheduling an appointment was very easy. When I arrived for my appointment the greeter seemed a little confused of who I was. When going into the service department it was a little confusing of who I should be talking to, there was a couple of employees just sitting there. I appreciate the free donuts but they should be changed out a couple times during the day, they were pretty stale. The oil change took about an hour which is normal, I was a little disappointed that my vehicle had not been washed after the service. I thought your dealership did that, it is a nice touch after a service.

I have recently been shopping around for a ford dealer to service and maintain my 2019 ford fusion i recently purchased. I spoke to service rep Brian M. at yankee ford. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and set an appointment immediately for the works oil change. I was impressed with the service department very clean, organized and made me feel as if i was a long time customer. Only problem was when my car was completed i noticed the right rear tire i scuffed with a curb was still on the right rear of my car. Which meant my tires were not rotated which i requested and told it was part of the package. The service tech did not rotate tires as should have as part of service. Brian immediately assured me he will get to the bottom of it and have it taken care of. As promised he did just that immediately. I left there feeling that i was a V.I.P. because of my interactions with Brian i will now have all service repairs and maintenance for my car and truck done at yankee ford.

We purchased another Transit Cargo Van for our business. The buying process was the most pleasant I have had to date. Jay Mazur was easy going and a real pleasure to make a deal with. There were a couple issues after the sale that were taken care of quickly and without hassle. They even helped me with a new key for one of my other vehicles.

Went in last weekend to buy a new car that we saw on the website. Salesman said an employee was driving it and we might check back in a few days. Not interested in taking our name or helping with a sale. Drove down to Prime Ford in Saco where salesman was very helpful and gave us many to choose from that werent even on their lot. Bought it that day from Prime.

9/13/2021 Update - Took my truck in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I also asked them to take a look at the automatic running board on the drivers side as it was not fully extending. Everything was done in about an hour, the running board needed a part which they ordered and replaced in less than a week. The service was great, the people I spoke to were very professional and took very good care of me.Updated 6/16 - I just brought my truck in for its first oil change and tire rotation and it could not have been a better experience. I made an appointment for Saturday morning and when I arrived I was met by a friendly staff member who took my keys. My wife and I walked to a nearby diner we enjoy and had breakfast. We got a call shortly after that my truck was ready to go - ahead of schedule. I love the truck and I am very pleased with the after purchase service from Yankee.This should be a 3.5 but certainly not a 4. 24 hours ago it would have ben a 4.5 but things changed. First of all, 90% of my experience with Yankee was positive. The owners of Yankee are very generous to the community and I want to thank them for that. I was looking for a used F150 and since these are the hottest vehicles on the market you have to move fast and the one I was going to look at was already sold. The salesman was great and pointed me to another that had just come in for trade and he knew the former owner. Apparently the former owner was deaf and had no peripheral vision because it had minor scratches and dings on every corner and a large scratch on the side. I bought the truck knowing it wasnt perfect but I had thought we had agreed upon a solution to the large scratch on the side. Apparently I was wrong and now, after dropping nearly $50K I have an otherwise awesome truck with a large scratch down the side. I thought the agreement was that we were going to split the cost of the repair but after the sale I was told no and that I would have to drop $1,200 if I wanted them to repair it. Its not the end of the world but it certainly left an unpleasant feeling at the end of an otherwise good experience. The moral of the story is make sure any agreement you make with them (or anyone for that matter) needs to be in writing before you sign the paperwork. Id still recommend Yankee but just make sure you have the agreements in writing before you sign the paperwork.

Amazing experience all the way around. Matt Ivey made my truck purchase an incredible and fun experience. He understood my request and did everything in his power to make them happen! I feel that after I left (with my new truck) I have two new friends! Spencer Bean was also very awesome throughout the entire experience. This is a new high for customer experience and won’t go elsewhere from now on. The other dealerships that I have previously purchased from haven’t and will not compare to the level of understanding, friendliness and service. I looked at several dealerships to find the right car for me. Kris is the best Car Sales Advisor you would ever want to meet. He was relentless in his pursuit for the perfect car for me. He puts all of the other client advisors to shame. The Yankee Ford Group should be extremely proud to have a person like him working on their behalf. My vehicle just returned from a 3100 mile road trip and was due for an oil change. One of the tires had a slow leak and after adding air for the second time in a week we called Yankee Ford Service and we were able to get an appointment that day to have the oil changed, slow leak found and fixed and the tires rotated.

Great experience. Ive only had my F-150 for a few months, and this was my first scheduled service. Very professional and pleasant staff, and the multiple checkpoint inspection/oil change/ tire rotation was completed in a short time.

I have had two Ford vehicles serviced at Yankee for the past 10 years or so. I am very satisfied. The advisers do not “sell” unnecessary maintenance or repair. Indeed, when confronted with a particularly confounding issue, the advisers recommended patience to identify the problem, rather than pursuing every potential, expensive “fix.” Am I wrong to say that I have come to trust a car dealership?

Worst experience Ive ever had trying to get a quote from a dealership. They are incredibly rude and will not answer questions or get back to you. The salesman was completely unhelpful and would not provide a quote. Terrible. Much better experience with Rowe Ford.

We had a factory recall. My wife and I both work and live 30 miles away. They squeezed us in, gave us a loaner for the day and got the job done quickly causing minimal stress for us!

Yankee Ford in South Portland is simply the best. A few years ago we bought a car in another state which, to put it mildly, has had problems. After taking it to a few other places, we found Yankee Ford. Herb, Matt, and everyone else in the service department are wonderful. Knowledgeable, persistent, and professional, but above all, patient and great at explaining whats going on with the car. Weve met a few of the mechanics as well, and these guys arent just clocking in to a job. They are 100% car guys. They are passionate about their work and doing a great job. Yankee Ford has a customer for life with me!

Hands down the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. From the moment we walked into the door, we did not feel pressure in any way. We had an idea of what we were looking for and our sales person, Kevin in Brunswick is amazing!! We test drove a few trucks and did not quite find something that day, however over the weekend between phone call and text of new trucks coming in, we ended up find the truck we loved and able to purchase. Dave in financing at South Portland was great and made the signing for the truck smooth! So I thank Yankee Ford for being so great to their customers, I am not sure why I did not buy a Ford sooner!

Been coming to yankee Ford for my new car purchases and service for years. They are very professional, the service is relatively speedy, and they’ve never tried to sell me on anything I didn’t need. Would recommend them to anyone!

I was here in April for help with my car, the guard for the undercarriage had broken and was dragging so I asked them to replace it. They removed it, and then insisted I needed new brakes, i left after several hours and paying significantly more than I was expecting to. The entire time I was there I saw one customer after another being poorly prioritized based on appearance, purchase history, etc, and myself was approached by three different sales people who suggested that I just buy a ford instead of fixing my hyundai. Unprofessional, unrefined saleskids who only know more nos mean more yesses.I was fine with just taking the hit and going about my life until I received in the mail today what looked like a greeting card- I opened it to discover that it was a fake forwarded email from some sales person to a manager or something about my car and how it would be really really cool for me if they bought it. The post-it also looks handwritten. I will not stand for this kind of tricky marketing. I will absolutely not be doing business with this establishment again, and I will be advising against them to my entire circle as well.Let it be known that the only reason I am writing this review on google is because I cannot find a customer service email address anywhere on their website, and the chat window is a broken bot. They could do so much better.Thanks for reading.

I called roughly 4 hours ahead of time and notified a salesman Khris that I would be traveling 2 hours to look at a F-150 King Ranch. When I got there, the truck was completly trashed, and more dirty than a football locker room, with empty beer cans in the back. I was told “if I knew you’d be offended by the truck I would have washed and cleaned it.” I will never come here and I left extremely disappointed.

They always take great care of my vehicles. They will do the complicated repairs that other mechanic shops wont, and they offer realistic prices on the repairs.

Hit a deer with my truck i broke a plastic insert on the bumper i needed it replaced i was able to get the part cheaper than online by 12 bucks and Todd fixed it for free. Thank you Todd and yankee ford for superb service.

We bought our Ford Fusion from Yankee Ford a few years ago (when car sales were slow and the dealerships were giving incentives to buy from them) - with the added warranty (which we paid for). At the time the car had 22k miles on it and my husband specifically asked the finance manager, that was doing the paperwork, if the extended warranty took the coverage mileage up to 82K miles. He assured us it did. I was also guaranteed free oil change for the life of my ownership of the car. Well, low and behold, my car now has 66K miles and needed repairs that should have been covered under the extended warranty. I took my car in to take get the oil changed and take care of the engine light that came on. They did a diagnostic test on my car and they said I needed $600 worth of repairs. They charged me for the oil change and I had them reverse that charge - no problem. My husband called the new finance manager (the one we had spoke with no longer worked there) and was told that, no this work was not covered because our extended warranty ended at 60k. Now this is our fault for not having it in writing, so we do take half the blame, and the finance manager did have the work done under the warranty, but any further repairs that should have been covered are not. The service people were great, but we had planned to buy another car when the warranty was up, but because of this, it wont be buying from Yankee Ford.Marie Gresik

Really bad customer service. Person helping me didnt know about the cars, prices, models, etc. Dishonest, scam-type of promotion was going on the weekend I visited. Yankee Ford is the reason people hate shopping for cars. Yankee Ford gives car dealerships a bad name.
