My postman left a large pkg. Sitting by my mailbox just asking for someone to steal it. During Christmas I had a few packages not show up i wonder if this is the reason. Sorry you had to ask a few steps. Is there a reason or something I can do.
I normally have a blood feud with the USPS, but not this branch. I just witnessed Amid buy an entire sheet of stamps for a little old lady who comes in each week for a few stamps. It brought her to tears and filled a post office, of all places, with a good feeling.
Set a package pickup and no one showed up. Tried online and calling with no options for what to do if no one comes to pickup the package. Clearly they don’t care.
Terrible customer service, rude employees, and a dirty store that needs to be cleaned. Won’t be coming back.
This is my first time ever, lots of my packages about at least 20 has been lost, missing or stolen etc..no traces of it.I will be making calls to upper management or Corporation about this problem. Dont recommend at all!Something just occurred your online order may possibly be missing if it comes through this facility be aware and file a complaint if you dont receive your packages

Ive had nothing but a nightmare with this post office. My packages are continually scanned as delivered and never actually delivered. The contracted mail carrier drives a broken in window van and continually makes mistakes over and over again. TODAY FOR THE 6TH TIME MY PACKAGE WAS SCANNED AS DELIVERED TO A PO BOX. I do not have a po box and I live in a residential neighborhood. I own a business and rely on the mail for my supplies. YOU CAN NOT RELY ON USPS FOR YOUR MAIL DELIVERY. Angela has been helpful in getting me my packages but why does she have to do that? WHY CANT USPS HIRE PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO DELIVER MAIL PROPERLY?? STAY AWAY FROM THIS POST OFFICE, ALL YOU WILL HAVE IS A NIGHTMARE.
This post office is terrible. I fear ordering anything online anymore. I have lived in this house for about a year now and so far have not received 4 packages of my own. They mark them as delivered and they never show up. Today I went out to the community mailbox because I’m missing a package that was marked as delivered 4 days ago. Nothing was in my mailbox but I decided to snoop around. In an unlocked mailbox was a $300 camera my boyfriend ordered months ago. We would have never known to check that mail box if I wasn’t snooping around for my missing package! I’m located on the west side of daybreak.Update 2 months later and things have gotten worse. We officially have lost over 10 packages due to the mail man working. 2020 and we can’t order online because the packages never make it to our house.
This particular location has the worst track record with delivering packages in our townhouses. We have a cluster mailbox and consistently our packages are put in the wrong mailbox and end up never making their way to us. I am not joking when I say that at least 75% of the packages we expect to be delivered to us end up somewhere else and there is zero accountability by the USPS worker who keeps misreading the delivery address. I know that this review wont do anything in the long run, but it is absolutely infuriating that we keep losing packages because ONE worker cannot read a delivery address correctly and the USPS branch will not do anything about it. Ive trust calling and talking to the Post Master several times and it doesnt do anything to help the situation.

Dropped a package off at this drop box a week ago. Never started tracking and when I called they location they said they empty it every day. The only explanation is that a post office worker stole it. Nothing else makes any sense. This seems like a super sketchy location looking at the other reviews as well. I will absolutely file a claim.

This is the WORST post office! They mark packages as delivered when they are not!! This the second time I have had this done to me! The first time I called 3 or 4 times to ask what happened to my package and they kept saying they would make a report! Then miraculously my package showed up in the amazon hub well over a week after it was marked delivered! This time they have screwed up the delivery of my wedding jewelry! The delivery staff here absolutely sucks!!!!
Absolutely rudest service I ever experienced! Went in with a box with a hardcover book I was sending out after selling it on eBay. I told the lady it was a book that I wanted to send via Media mail. She asked me if there were any perishables, breakables, etc. Typical protocol for accepting packages. I told her no, it was just a book. Nothing else, and reminded her I wanted Media mail. She then shows me rates for sending it first class and express at over 11.00 and I reminded her I asked for Media mail. She huffed and rudely shot back at me that Media mail is for only books. I told her for the third time I was sending a book. Just a book. Nothing else. She rolled her eyes at me and asked if it was regular bound. I was like...Yes! Regular bound book! Then angrily punched in a few buttons at her computer saying fine, well do that then. I paid for my shipping rate of 3.75 and left without a thank you or anything. I never ever dealt with anyone so rude or ignorant in my life at the post office and I hope this is the last time I see her! She should only be limited to the mail room where she doesnt have to deal with people.
Had a packaged delivered to my mom that said it was delivered but she did not receive it .Called customer service and created a case number . within 5 minutes I received a phone call from the post master at this location informing me of their concern and would be investigating. The very next day, the package was found exactly where it was delivered at the correct address. No fault of the carrier. But the immediate call and concern impressed me. Most people could not walk a mile in these carries shoes day in and out. My hat is off to all USPS carriers.
This post office has a self service kiosk, saving you a lot of time (when the kiosk is working). They were not busy during my visit, which is also good, but had steady traffic coming in. A nice facility with a good parking lot. Easy to find off the street - look for the clock tower.
All of you “KARENS” that need to leave negative reviews should try doing their job everyday dealing with people like yourself (whiners) and you would be on the edge as well.
I have lived in the same home since 2001, for 17 years now. The amount of problems with receiving the correct mail over the last couple of months far exceeds the problems that occurred over the last 17 years all together. I have never had more issues with getting my mail and getting the correct mail. I have prescription glasses that show delivered and I never received them, after calling for 2 days straight several times per day I finally got through to someone at the post office only for them to tell me they will talk with the carrier and get back to me. Its now been 2 weeks and still have not heard from anyone and have not received my glasses. I have made multiple attempts to call the post office with no answer. I called right when they opened this morning 5 times in a row and it just rang and rang and the voicemail doesnt work. Unfortunately I work the same hours as the post office or I would just go in. To top it off we had an extremely important timely & costly process we were going through and it was all cancelled because I mail was returned to them as not at this address I have to assume that it was put into the wrong mailbox and one of my neighbors wrote not at this address on the envelope. If it was put into the correct mailbox that would have never happened. We lost several thousand dollar in this mistake. And Im not the only one having these issues, there is a lot going on in our neighborhood. The mailboxes are all together not at each individual house, it cannot be that hard. I would deal directly with the post office and not write a review because I feel its passive aggressive but I cannot get a hold of the post office as they never answer their phone. Im beyond frustrated.
When I went there was very little wait and the people were friendly. My favorite part was that the brown boxes you buy from them come with tape. I forgot my own and would have had to buy a whole roll other wise.
Job= deliver to address on package.Job= Failed.I live in a condo, in one week I have had 3 different packages at different times be delivered to the wrong building or completely different address. Each building has a big number and large numbers above the doors. Luckily my neighbors are honest and returned 2 packages back to the post office the post office for re delivery which luckily got to the right address second time around. And the third I went and hunted down. Who ever is screwing bup this bad should be sent back to training or have an auditor follow them.
They lie all the time about when the mark a package as delivered. Almost every package I get will show delivered then not show up for a few days after. Gets way worse this tine of year.
If I could give negative stars I would. Whoever delivers in my neighborhood is incompetent. I dont know if this is contracted out, but if so, USPS needs to find someone else to contract to. This is the third package I have had in the last month that I did not receive. Today it is showing my package left in a parcel locker. But I have no key. The last time, I had one package showing left in my mailbox and another in a locker. The package in my mailbox was not there. I had a key for the parcel box, which was empty. Both were in another persons parcel box with their package. I cringe every time I see that a business I have ordered from has shipped with USPS.
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There was a biiiig line standing, and it was first 3 ppl working, then when is got even more busy, one guy just left to the back... So I spent 40 min in line and when it was my turn another guy said that he would be right back, 5 more minutes... In the result I was late for class... Thank you USPS for your service..And I am not even talking about moody personnel.. So next time I will come 1 hour earlier to speak to the manager.
I cannot say enough good things about Josh, a worker at this location. Every time I go into the post office (dread!), he makes it a very pleasant experience. He is friendly, fast, and incredibly helpful. Today was no exception. Youre awesome Josh!

UPDATE: Surprise surprise, yet ANOTHER misplaced package. This time I KNOW they put it at some other house. It was supposedly delivered at 1:30pm according to the tracking number, but the other packages that ACTUALLY got here showed up at 1:50pm on my video doorbell. Ive learned my lesson and Ill have my packages delivered to a pick up location since I seemingly cant trust this horribly run business.If I could give negative stars I would. I had a package that was supposedly delivered to my front porch this past Tuesday, except it wasnt. I know that it was most likely misdelivered somewhere because I had a separate package on the same truck that was marked as delivered a full 26 minutes after that we actually received. I submitted a complaint, simply asking if it was misdelivered and if they could find out where they dropped it off and return it to me. I got a voicemail during work the next day asking me to call them back because the carrier couldnt find it. So I called. Six times at varying times throughout the day. No answer, no voicemail available. I tried again the next day. Same story. I responded to the form email I received that they were looking into it. No answer. This is some of the worst customer service Ive ever experienced, let alone the fact that this is not the first time a package was misdelivered or lost for me. Absolutely ridiculous.
SOUTH JORDAN USPS: If I could give negative stars, it would be *- - - - -. My wife and I were at home waiting and listening for a Comcast Cable Technician to come into our home and service some of their equipment. When my wife went to the mail box to get our mail, she found a note from our carrier saying (to the effect), sorry we missed you, you have a package that was not left because there is postage due of $3.11. WE WERE HOME !!! AND NO ONE FROM THE POSTAL OFFICE KNOCKED ON OUR DOOR OR RANG THE DOORBELL !!!!The carrier was too lazy to get out of his/her truck and come to our door.The package was marked as coming from ADVANCED HOME MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. This is MEDICAL EQUIPMENT and the carrier made NO EFFORT but to leave a note in our mail box. Today is Saturday June 8, 2019 so I now have to wait until Monday (June 10th) to pick up my MEDICAL EQUIPMENT !!!!!! PISS-POOR SERVICE !!!!!!!
Called around 5 times without anyone picking up. I frequently have this problem. When they have answered, no one seems to be able to help. They need to train their people better, or maybe actually have staff there to answer the phones. There doesnt seem to be anyone working.
I recently moved, I completed the task of forwarding my mail, but for some reason they are not delivering all of it. I had a piece of mail sent to me from a friend in who lives in the area OVER 20 DAYS AGO and for some reason it still has not arrived? What other mail is not coming to me? On top of that I still keep getting MULTIPLE other peoples mail in my mailbox. I am honestly worried that they are just so unorganized that someone else in my complex is getting my mail and I am getting theirs or something. PS. Good luck trying to call to figure out whats going on. I still havent been able to reach an actual person.
We continue to get other peoples mail. My mail has gone to other people sooooo many times. I had medicine delivered and it went to someone two streets away and I had no idea. Also our packages will say delivered and it wont be there. We will look at our cameras and no one ever came. Then it will show up one to two days later. Its really disappointing that they will lie and then mark it as delivered and deliver it days later. Also I have tried to call the post office every single time something has been wrong and have NEVER gotten through. It just rings and rings. So disappointing.
Please call the number listed and listen to how absolutely awful their phone tree is. Youre in for a laugh. They will not let you talk to human. Also, why is do you want to hear our privacy policy one of the first options? Who cares about that? I guarantee only .000001% of people calling in are like wow, Im so glad they have their privacy policy right up front for me to listen to. How convenient. Just please think the phone tree design from a customers perspective.
They cashier was so helpful and pleasant. He helped me put my box together when he saw that I couldnt figure it out and he was nice and cheerful.
I have really bad social anxiety and hate talking to people I dont know. I ship packages for part of my job and normally have the mailman pick them up but forgot today. I wasnt sure if this location inside the Harmons could accept prepaid packages and was really nervous to go in and ask. The employee I talked to was the friendliest post office employee Ive ever encountered. She was so nice! I will definitely be coming back to this location.
I am parked 5-10 feet away from my mailbox and keep getting a note saying i am blocking it. And the mail lady is a hag.
I mail items here a couple times per week that I sell in my side business. There is always a regular rotation of front-desk employees and they are all really courteous and helpful, one of the best post offices Ive worked with (and Ive moved a lot! 5 others in the last 3 years.)
Normally very satisfied with the service.. The last two times I have had trouble having them hold my vacation mail... first time it was not held until I picked up and delivered 2 days early.. the second time I’m no sure what happened. It wast held at all and was overflowing my mailbox.. thank goodness my neighbor picked up on itAgain I was suppose to pick it up myself at the post office when I returns home from vacation...The post office couldn’t figur it out for a week.. Could it be the carrier?
I’m pretty sure that this is the worst post office ever. My outgoing packages seem to “disappear” after being scanned at south Jordan and then months later never reach their destination. I constantly get mail delivered to me for other addresses. Terrible service.

We’ve lived in this same house in South Jordan for 16 years. Mail service was very reliable until a few months ago. There is a lot of misdelivery going on now. We regularly get mail for other people on our street and for the next street over. Lots of packages are misdelivered. Yesterday, 3 packages for me went to the porch of a house on the next street over with the same house number but different street name. Name of family at that address not even remotely similar to ours. Those people are also out of town. I only figured out I needed to go search for my packages because I got emails from the vendors saying my packages were delivered. Yet, they hadn’t been delivered to my house. Some of our mail just never shows up. Whomever ended up with our car insurance renewal mail never bothered to bring it over to us. Our neighborhood is all single family homes that aren’t rentals. How hard is it to actually look at the name and address on mail and put it at the right address? My husband worked as a substitute mail carrier when he was in college and he thinks it’s not hard if someone actually bothers to pay attention and takes a bit of pride in their work. Our new mail carrier obviously doesn’t do much of either. Can’t get live people on the phone and complaining in person seems to do no good. Am considering a class action lawsuit at this point.
My packages said they were delivered but then changed to saying the customer (Me) asked to pick it up at this post office, in which I did not. Now I am trying to get a hold of them and i am now calling for the 11 time in 2 hours to make sure my packages are there and still no answer . I was hoping the other reviews were wrong but sadly no. This has been the worst service from a USPS service I have ever had. I have now filed a complaint against this office and will follow up with it as it comes necessary. Follow up - I talked to josh finally after 16 tries and 3 hours later and he was very kind and helped hopefully solve the issue. We will see if I get my packages. Giving them 2 stars now.

First of all - I seen everyone complain about this place and worst service ever. For me, this is my first time and I don’t have any issues. I asked the service, which answered my question and he is friendly to me. I put five stars for now, until I came here more in someday and I’ll update this reviewer if anything happen.
They never pick up the phones. Messed up my mailbox key because they have no clue whats going on and have now had my locks changed twice because they dont know what they are doing. Not surprised by the other bad reviews.

Just talked to them on the phone and got the rudest worker. I asked a question, he gave me a response that was not an answer to my question. When I tried to clarify, he talked louder and wouldnt let me speak. Ive never, ever hung up on somebody while talking on the phone before, but I did with this guy. Incredibly rude and unhelpful.

People are friendly enough but they are (at least when I go) way understaffed and its at least a half hour wait if youre lucky. Ran into this issue more than once. If I can, I avoid this location.
Our mailman delivers mail to the wrong box frequently Im just glad the manager I dont know her name but she was super sweet and helped me find my missing package their customer service at the actual post office is amazing I just really think they need a new driver hes old can barely walk I just dont feel hes suited for the job weve had my paychecks go missing for months cause of him causing us to have late bills and threats of our utilities being turned off hopefully my credit wasnt damaged for the late payments

Like many others I always get someone elses mail. I dont mind this very much. I do however have an issue with my mail carrier. This person wears the same clothes every day, they are dirty and extremely unprofessional. Also this person will most often not wear shoes, just long dirty white socks. I will be reporting it.
Frequently I dont get my package. They just loose it or deliver wrong place and I never get them.
We and several of the neighbors at our condominium building keep getting eachothers mail. mail is continually being delivered to the wrong box. No phone number to call where you can actually talk to a human being. Its happening daily not just an incident here and there.
My mail courier continuously shoves packages into my mailbox and damages my packages. I have e-mailed USPS three times with a complaint and no one will reply to me. Thats my government tax dollars at work.
I have talked to them a few times, but they have pocked my package in my mailbox without giving me a key. Even after I have talked to them about it they have not helped me get it out.
Most window clerks are knowledge, helpful and fast. Has PO box section and some priority mail packaging 24/7.
I wanted to call in and ask a few questions regarding my PO box, rather than drive there. After 20 minutes lost in there automated phone system I gave up. There is no way to circumvent the phone flow chart and talk to a human. Just another strike against the snail mail system...
Says open until 8 but all the cashiers are closed and nobody can help. I would fire every be of those employees if they were mine. This is stupid. Have to drive even further out of the way. So much for my taxes working for me.
I called in to get my key for my mailbox that they were already late on and they put me on indefinite hold. After hanging up I called back and could never get through. What a load of crap, they suck!
