Went to Li Nails in So Holland, IL on 7 /24 for a mani/pedi. My nail tech was Lee and she was VERY heavy with her hands. At times it was painful but that was not the worse that happened. Within 2 hours of leaving the shop my Nails started to chip. I was doing some shopping and was very careful not to hit my nails on any thing. By 9 pm the polish was almost totally off. $35 was a lot to pay for a manicure that didnt last even 1 day. I picked a OPI color but Im convinced they are not using genuine OPI products. They are filling the OPI bottles with a cheaper polish because genuine OPI products do not chip. If you want your polish to last you have to pay $65 for no chip polish, Really! I ignored the reviews when I read them, wish I had not. I would give them a -5 stars if I could. People save your money and do not go to this salon.

Worse eyebrow service. First time coming here. The nail tech who did my no chip manicure & pedi did a good job. However, the lady (heavy size lady) who shaped my eyebrows had such a poor attitude. She didnt say anything to me when she came in the room. I asked for my brows to be shaped and keep full. She handed me the mirror. I pointed out and asked her to trim the area on my eyebrows that needed to be trimmed. Her mannerisom and attitude was so bad. I asked her if there was a problem because she was put off by my request. Well after that I just left. Now I have to get my eyebrows fixed

Li Day Spa is a horrible business. After they burned my foot a year ago leaving permeate scarring I decided to give them another chance hoping business & professionalisms has gotten better. I ended up with similar results being burned with chemicals put to soften skin. The chemical dried my skin & caused it to flake away. My toe nail was filed down to the skin causing the chemical to seep in & burn my skin. I again politely asked them to please wash my foot off because the pain was unbearable & they refused to assist with alleviating the pain, rushed me out the door while screaming for me to call the police & get out. I have never been treated or attacked like this in any other salon in my life. I am traumatized & disappointed in the behavior displayed by these so so called professionals.

Their customer service SUCKS!! I asked the mother of the group (oldest lady) who was about to do my nails to sanitize her hands first and she refused. Covid is real!! She assigned another younger girl to do my nails. She did a HORRIBLE job! I kept telling her it she was over buffing and cutting my cuticles. The only reason why I didn’t walk out was because I was going out of town first thing in the morning. The decor was nice and relaxing but I will NEVER spend money there again! I do not rec this place!!

Quality service is impossible to find. Even where service used to be good. Im embarrassed to even be posting this because I USED to recommend this one nail tech to others. Not anymore

Employees here are very rude and dismissive. Their hours on their front door and on Google state that they close at 8pm Monday - Friday. I arrived on a Monday at 6:30pm and immediately upon entering, one employee shouts out to me without greeting that “we’re closed” shortly after I crossed the threshold into the salon. When i inquired as to what time they closed, no one responded. I had to ask the question again and a different employee told me 6:30pm. I then inquired as to what days they closed at 6:30pm, with no response. Upon asking the question again someone shouted Monday-Saturday. Very poor customer service here. I will not attempt to patron this nail salon again.

They always polite. You can ask them to hit a spot or make this a little better, and no problem. If they do get an attitude, you want know it. Washrooms are always clean. I do have to say the men will scrub your skin off lol they take more time. Not knocking the women they good too. Check them out. I go out my way for them.

Been going here for about 2 years. Good service, nails are always neatly shaped. Polite staff. No long wait even for a Saturday when I recently went. The only place I want to go for my nails!

When I first went last week, my nails were really bad，but they were patient enough to explain my nails and clean them up for me. I had never been to a nail shop before where I could explain what to do and what to look out for. That girl and the other girl are very nice. I like them very much.

I usually go to Relax Spa and Nails in Schererville but I didnt have much time this day. I only came here to get my acrylic nails off. I dont know the ladies name but she was on the thick side. She clipped my nails. Then proceeded to take a nail file and literally rip the fake nail off my real nail. My nails are still messed up and probably will never be the same. The part under my nails go so deep and are still red and its been about a month. I would never go back. Just dont come here. Look at the reviews.

My mom when to get her nails done today and the lady was very rude and was shouting at her. This was the worst nail experience she has ever had. They were so rude for no reason. She will never go back there. This is a disgrace...Do not support this nail shop.

The lady who does the eyebrows is very rude and unprofessional.... I came in to get my eyebrows (Waxed) and I ask her do she use the razor for the finishing touch. She gave me a rude response attitude....#WontGoBackI do not recommend this place!!!!

On March 24th, 2021 I decided to stop at this shop and get a manicure and pedicure, which is $35.00. The young woman who was doing nails when I walked in asked what I wanted and I informed her the mani-pedi, with regular polish.She did my pedicure first and it wasnt too bad, but I do wish should wouldve shaped the nail more.Then it was time for my manicure. I grew my nails out and wanted them shaped, cleaned and polished.I polish my nails all the time and never get the entire polish popping off like fake nails. My polish only lasted a half day. And not to mention she didnt do my cuticle good. She picked at it and now I have skin peeling all over the darn place. Ugh. I will NEVER be back.

During my visit here the young lady who did my full set was rude. She did a horrible job on my nails, they were poorly shaped and the no chip polish chipped immediately. Needless to say I’ll never go back there but I hope that their service improves because I live in South Holland and don’t want to see any businesses go.

I am in total agreement with all of the negative reviews shared regarding this establishment. My first experience with being serviced was in June, 2020 when our Great Governor of Illinois allowed 💅 shops to open, with limited capacity after being in Shelter Care. My first visit with the Owner went well. As such, I scheduled for a follow-up appointment. In outreaching to confirm my appointment there was no response. As such, I decided to go to the shop to get service 🙄. While there, I explained that I had attempted to outreach, only to hear the Owner speaking with her Daughter (heavy-set) young lady speaking in their language. When the Owner started working on my nails 💅 she had a very nasty attitude. I had even asked her why was she so a angry. As a Social Worker, I noticed that they were nicer to the younger generation and their Swag. They (like most people) sized you up (with perceptions) instead of getting to know you. Not being smart, I went back three more times and still wasnt treated professionally with the one exception of the Gentleman who serviced me. We, as African Americans have to learn how to speak up when we are not being respected because THEY are in OUR neighborhood (on every corner) benefitting from our MONEY 💰 when they are not even probably licensed nail technicians. #BlackMoneyMatters!

They did my birthday nails, I like it. They’re very nice. My pedicure is very relax,everybody got to try luxury spa pedi, and hot stone. My nail is very pretty. I like it.

This was literally the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. They were so rude for no reason. While doing my nails, the owner herself, had an attitude and sat and did nothing and walked around for 5 minutes before she painted my nails because the “powder she put on had to dry”. I only came for two nail repairs and both of them were crooked and she was upset because I asked her to shape them more. I was very polite and she was rude as soon as I came in. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Please, do not waste your money here.

The healthy Chinese lady was not friendly and she kept jerking my hand and didnt even do my nails right. Sad Im paying to do your job.Will not recommend this shop to anyone and is going to call the BBB and report them.They lucky I have to give a star.

DISGUSTING,RUDE, AND WAY OVER PRICED! Ive been getting my nails done for over 20 years and this is by far the absolute worst place Ive ever been to. The rude older lady cut me 3 times with a file, actually drew blood. Didnt throw the file away. Just put it in the drawer to use again. After the terrible service,seriously my 5 year old couldve done a better design she tried to charge me $65.00 for a full set! Not to mention there were 4 people waiting, no social distancing whatsoever, while the heavy set girl sat there painting the fake nails you chose your color from. Avoid this place at all costs! No options for anything cute. I asked if they did ombre and they looked at me like I was speaking a different language.

Its was okay. Staff was not friendly and my nails were done but they had major flaws in the application. The tools used were not cleaned as far as I could tell. The place was a bit run down and emtly when I went in. Overall 2 starts mabey 3.

Over the years their service has declined and customer service doesn’t exist. I took my daughter and god daughter there for Homecoming and the girl who did my daughters pedicure didn’t speak English and couldn’t even operate the dam bath. The other girl didn’t want to polish my god daughters nails, she asked for a payment first I’ve never been asked that and maybe they thought they didn’t have money. As I sat and waited with them. I will never go back no reason for the treatment

I went in there Saturday to relax and get my nails ready for Back to School. There was no wait, I got to enjoy a nice massage chair the entire time, and a foot massage. The lady, Summer, was nice and made my feet and legs feel very smooth. It was a really relaxing 1 hour treatment, and for only $25.The only downside is the the nail polish began peeling off two of my toes in just a few days. Li Nails has great skin treatment and friendly people, but it IS still a NAIL shop. They should upgrade their nail polish to something that doesnt wear off so easily.

Please read the reviews regarding this business! The owner (heavy set lady) has a very bad attitude and lacks any kind of professionalism. She does mediocre nails and does not care about providing any type of customer service because she knows the patrons in the community will still come and spend money there. We need to start holding these businesses who come into our community accountable! There is no way a business who provides such unprofessional and terrible customer experiences should exist. I will not spend another dollar in this nail shop, these people do no respect us and therefore don’t deserve our money!!!

The service is great here. The nail techs ask if you are satisfied with the polish, nail trim, and etc. They accommodate all the needs of their customers. Great customer service. Friendly people. Nice, clean work environment.

They are allowing noncertified people to provide service. The non-tech who gave me a pedicure used the same brush and scrubber from another customer. I realized it after the fact. I was reading and not watching everything. She opened new clippers (nail utensils) but the larger items was used without washing!!!

First 2 experiences at this shop were good. The experience today was the opposite. Sat in the pedicure chair for 40 min waiting for someone to start my pedicure. A lady walked in after me for a manicure but she was serviced before me. Finally walked out without any of the workers even acknowledging me. Went to Salon Max and was serviced as soon as I walked in the door.

I went in there 2 weeks ago to get a pedi/mani and the lady mai or may could not get the line straight for my toes. Consulted with the owner and she pretended as if she could not understand me when earlier I heard her speaking English. Frustrated, i settled for a regular color...still A horrible job! It was sloppy and not on my whole toe. I then wanted a no chip for my hands and it looked...SMH!! No other worker would tell the tech to do it over! I was devastated! It lasted just a few days and believe it or not, this was my 2nd time going Lol! The first time i went i was disappointed and said i would never go back... but because its close, i did. 2 strikes youre out for me. I read an earlier that suggested doing something about this company...I AGREE! We should call the city and make a complaint and protest if needed. This place is such a disservice to our community as nd we do have a say! 👍😉

Owner and daughter have a bad attitude. Now What know where the daughter get her attitude from. Mom refused to do my nails because she did not appreciate the fact that I did not like her service prior. She told me to come back the next day when her daughter was available. She said she had a customer. It took me minute to realize she didn’t want to service me. Once it was clear what she was saying I told her its ok I wouldn’t be back ever. I blame myself because my daughter and I have been going there for about a year and every time we leave we say we won’t go back but we did. Never again!!!!!!

I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. The heavy set lady who said her name was Wendy was not friendly..had an attitude and when I called her out on her unprofessionalism she tried to make it seem like I didnt know what I was talking about. I had to stop her from cutting me off when I was speaking about the problem. Some of the sides of my nails were missing nail polish, the length of my nails were way shorter than what I originally showed her and to top that off the nails were uneven. Then at one point it seemed like she and a worker were arguing in their native tongue. Then she saw that I was right and didnt apologize. #NailLookLikeNumbs

This place gets no stars from me at all, I went there and it was my very first time going and they where very nasty and bad attitudes and talking about their customers, then she rushed to do my nails. If I couldve given them zero stars thats what they wouldve received. When they first opened I decided to check them out. They were pretty cool didnt really care for my nails but they were workable. I said to myself their probably nervous and excited give them the benefit of the doubt. I go again and just got a manicure. Worst mistake...it lasted all of one day before the polish began to chip. Tried again and got a pedicure as well as a full set. Pedicure was phenomenal...the younger lady did an excellent job. When it came time for my nails is where it went downhill. The lady was rude as hell, she rushed her work and had an attitude the entire time!!! I decided ok everyone has a bad day, I go in there again and request someone else. Unfortunately, it was quite worst then it was the first time. Tried telling me she was using gel on my nails when clearly it was acrylic. She just put some glossy no chip polish on it and called it gel....smh I would say stay far away. Customer service is terrible and they dont do good nails.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had to wait at least 30 minutes before they finally called me. I asked for a full set and the lady had an attitude the whole time she was very rude and rushed with my nails. When I left i noticed one of my nails were crooked. They only had two people doing nails while other works sat on the phone and the place was pretty packed.
