These ladies are FIRST CLASS! I needed services because of my travel schedule. A lot of places look down on you for that. I booked at another salon, but she did not do dip. Desperate, I called Maxwell in hopes of being squeezed in. Without hesitation, they invited me to come down for an appointment. I was a difficult guest, I can imagine because I needed a cut-down and tips plus dip. I worked with a young lady with lighter hair. She was fast with amazing attention to detail. The other two ladies checked in and made sure she had what she needed and inspected the work. They handled all of their clients with care and concern. These are the most beautiful nails I have had in a very long time. Their shape is consistant and sharp as all get- out. She found the perfect sparkles. She even took the time to care for my cuticles. If I could, I would fly back every three weeks and have my nails done here.

BLOODY NAILS. Had to tell the lady to stop after she cut me twice doing my fingernails. It wasn’t a small cut either. Needed bandaids to apply pressure to stop the bleeding. I went in for a mani/pedi. The pedi was okay.I have not written a negative review before. If they had apologized, comp’d the pedicure or at least offered a discount I probably wouldn’t be writing this. Don’t want to hurt the business, but also don’t want someone to experience what I did.

Went in with a small group from work as a treat this week and WOW! The salon is set up perfectly for COVID 19 infection control. Every precaution is being taken with equipment, cleaning and distancing. The pedicure was a long awaited dream come true and we all felt safe and and care for. highly recommend you all go. Thank you Maxwell Team!!

Only negative I can say is because it’s no touch .. you can’t touch the chair controller for back massaging. They should offer to do it for you or give us disposable gloves to control it ourselves. I’m glad they are open. The guy who did my toes was amazing 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

Sorry to be negative, but our experience there was rushed, uncomfortable seats, everything in their was so dirty and way over priced . We will not to going back.

I have been going to Maxwells nail salon for 7 years. The owner, Ut, prides herself and her long term staff on customer service while providing a quality service. The salon is always clean and up to date on safety policies. There is plexiglass seperating each and every customer. Along with hand sanitizer and a thermometer at the front door. And of course, everyone must wear a mask. Now deeply affected by the loss of business due to the pandemic, I hope that this one of a kind small business will be able to stay a float during this difficult time. I was in last Saturday, November 7, 2020, and although very few customers there was still some familiar faces of staff members. Ut has made it a priority to keep her staff on the clock even though there is not a lot of work. I commend her for this. I felt very safe there.Christine

Not sure why the bad reviews....this place is great! They always seem to have space if you call ahead and even same day. The technicians are friendly and do a great job. Prices are reasonable. The main owner/manager is so on top of it and super friendly. They even time their foot massages so you always get the same amount of time...

Love the mother and son team She took care of my nails for years and her son did excellent pedicures. I recommend calling to make an appointment with them!

By far the worst service I ever received from any establishment. There are several reasons for this - first, poor customer service. No talking to the customer, and the only form of communication I received were slaps on my legs and feet when they needed to be switched or adjusted. But boy do they sure know how to be nice when it was time to pay! Second - the foot massage I received couldnt even be called that! She barely touched one foot and burnt my leg with the hot stone for a couple minutes. I called ahead of time with an appointment and even tried to make friendly conversation. Being from out of town, maybe this is just how all of the locals are. But there are basic customer service skills that need to be taught here! The woman was even talking about me to the other stylist (they honestly thought I was deaf!) and were laughing at my husband and child who were patiently waiting for me! Will be letting my friends know to avoid this area the next time theyre in Sonoma! Better salons with better prices and service elsewhere! Never spending $27 on poor service like that ever again.

The salon is always clean and tidy! My mani pedi always comes out great. The owner showed us the cutest hand made valentines she made to hold gift cards! Best place in Sonoma for a walk in or appointment.
