The check in system makes everything easier you sign in you leave a phone number for them to text you when to come up to the window & get ready for your lab work. weekends are always busy here expect to wait about an hr or 2 the staff is okay theyre not as rude as everyone says they just get straight to the point get your lab work done and go ...dont need to do a lot of talking with anyone in my opinion π€·ββοΈ
I went with low expectations and it was much better than I thought. Fasting bloodiest and I couldnt get an appointment at a reasonable time so I took my chances and showed up there at 630 AM when they opened, with no appointment. I was done by 7:25. I have problem veins for giving blood ( tiny tiny, hard to find) and the phlebotomist was the best Ive ever experienced, and I told her so. I wont go anywhere else now when I need blood drawn.
They treat you like herds of cows here. Very little respect. You wait in lines without any explanation. They donβt even come to the window to call your name. They yell it from the back room. They donβt explain anything.I end up in the wrong line waist if my timeYou collect your own urine and then wait in another line holding your cup of pea until someone can help you. I waited 20 mins.It was ridiculous. A poor excuse for a medical building
It was good enough. A little crowd inside but I waited outside after check-in. Inside I spent 12 min max. Everybody was nice and helpful and It wasnβt hurt.
Walk-in appointment around 9.30am, wait was less than 20mins, helpful staff.
The service here is horrible I waited almost 2 hours before being seen. Once I got called waited online for another 30 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes the person who is drawing the blood came out spoke to some people that he never called him one person did not have his paperwork ready so he went and make sure the paperwork was prepared for the person who online continue to wait he took his friends in first and the procedure on them while others will wait another 10 people was online waiting. Service definitely need to be improved this definitely needs to be investigated. Just Horrible!
I had an appointment scheduled for today (11/13/20) at 12:30 p.m. This appointment was scheduled over a month in advance. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door reading This site is temporarily closed. I received no notification that my appointment was cancelled, and I was depending on you to provide the results of my bloodwork to my physician for an upcoming medical appointment. I couldve made other arrangements in advance if you would have given me the courtesy of a call, text or email. This upcoming medical appointment has to be made 3 months in advance.Update: 3 days of attempting to reach out for a make-up appointment, to no avail. I ended up booking with QUEST DIAGNOSTICS instead of Labcorp, and was able to schedule an appointment and be seen within 24 hours. The staff at Quest Diagnostics was friendly and happy, and didnt look incredibly stressed out and like they were counting the days until retirement. I actually spoke to the technician at Quest about their pet and was treated like a human! The check-in was a breeze and there werent 50 people crammed into a waiting room. (There were 3 people waiting.) And Quest was so clean!Goodbye, Labcorp! Definitely give Quest a shot!
You sign in, they text you, you wait one minute, they tell you which window, you give your script, you go in the back and a polite efficient phlebotomist takes your sample. Thirty minute wait on a busy day. What more do people want from a lab. No complaints. Great service.
The front-end staff is very rude. There is a self check-in system is rather quick and painless and very easy to use, but this was my 1st time here so walked to the window to have the receptionist shout at me that I have to check myself in on the computers. No good morning, no hello, do you have a question, no type of greeting at all. The whole atmosphere and feel is that of a DMV and you are treated like cattle.
Today I had an appointment and everything went so smooth. The staff were nice especially Victor(phlebotomists). I told him that I was so afraid from injections and He really was polite and had light hands. Thankyou
Was a walk-in patient and spent no more than a hour here on a Friday morning.
Im scared of needles and the phlebomotoist that helped me was quick and made me feel very comfortable, Id highly recommend going here for bloodwork!
Fuming right now.I head to this facility in freezing rain/sleet (as I now write theres even small hail and snow), fasting for 12+ hours and bringing in a specimen, trying to make it in before their 5:30 PM close time, only to find out that they closed at 5:00 PM instead.Apparently, management couldnt be bothered to post their new Tuesday hours in a more visible place.Granted, it *is* on their front door, BUT in a position where, if youre in a hurry (and, more to the point, FASTING for 12 or more hours, which doesnt help with concentration), you wont really notice that its a notice related to a change in hours of operation. Some might dismiss it as a lapse in just one persons awareness, but, after I did manage to go inside, another customer was complaining of the same thing (thankfully, for him, he got in before their computers shut down and was able to receive service).Unfortunately, management went home at 3 PM and left workers behind to not just deal with the increasingly inclement weather today, but also to deal with indignant patrons.Attendants were kind as they could be about it, under the circumstances, but said there wasnt much they could do.After asking to forward a request to management to post over the :30 and write in :00 (as they did before to change time to 5:30) and/or place the notice BELOW the hours (or even next to it), where its more obvious, was told that previous complaints/requests to place the sign more prominently havent been implemented (and the change happened almost FOUR MONTHS AGO!!!).Seriously?!?Now to lug back a 24 hour urine sample (and hope the sample truly will still be viable and that weather allows me to return tomorrow), fight traffic and weather on the way back, AND deal with feeling hangry and the discomfort from prepping to provide an additional urine sample for additional urinalysis needed...all for nothing!Again...seriously?!? Seriously, management?!?I thought the goal of most businesses was to make life easier for clients/patrons and, thereby, encourage people to come back.Apparently, not so here.
I loved my experience today, I walked in registered at the kiosk. I choose to receive a text and wait outside, I received a text when the tech was ready, 1 stick and I was done. My concerns were no temperatures were taken and the chairs werent being wiped down.
Excellent serviceTHEY TAKE IN WALK INS!! Check in at IPAD and they call you in immediately, 15-20 minute wait, clean waiting room, SOCIAL DISTANCE in effect. Nice staff and professional. Downside no temps taken at the door or COVID screening
They are very kind and very attentive. Highly recommend getting bloodwork done at this location.
First, they dont deserve one star. They were unprofessional and extremely rude. She didnt even attempt to look for the faxed order, that was right where it was supposed to be. So I sat an unnecessary 20 mins & put in an emergency call to my doctor. After, I asked another technician to check, well then miraculously, the original tech found the order. Wasted my time & the doctors. I wont be back, I promise. Learn to be efficient.
No notice they were closed on 11/13/20 til I pulled into the parking lot. Had an appointment made a month in advance. Need my INR checked every 3 weeks. Could have sent an email to folks.
I went for a blood test yesterday and waited in my car until called. After I was called and signed in, I was told to have a seat to wait for the attendant to draw blood. There were about seven chairs, all close together, and all had patients waiting to be called. There were four people also standing, waiting their turn. There was no effort to keep us all separated. I was there for at least twenty minutes. Two people used the bathroom, and it was not sanitized between visits. When I was called into the room for the procedure, the chair had not been disinfected. After giving blood, I was dismissed so quickly that my arm started to bleed when I was walking through the waiting area. I had to go back inside and ask for help to stop the bleeding. I was taken to another area that had not been disinfected. I was very upset about the lack of care of those waiting to be seen.
Staff is incompetent and unfriendly. Every time I go for a standing order, its always a problem. Most times I have to call my doctor while Im there to have them resend it although I tell them to make sure its in their system every time. Just the worst. Victor however, is a gem. Ask for him to do your blood draw. Hes very good and very friendly.
Horrible experience!! Scheduled appt walked in to check in no temp taken. Chairs to close together. No hand sanitizer near check in computers. Computers to close together. Thank God all had masks on cause there was to many people sitting near each other n when leaving had to pass to close to each other. There on 6/6/20 they get 0 stars
Can never find orders that were faxed over which causes delay as you have to call to have it sent again (in this case the third time). So the online appointment setup is convenient and the eCheckin quick but then it ends up taking a long time anyway.
People who are fasting......be prepared to wait close to 2 hours for walk-in appointments!
Worst ServiceSupervisor name KAMINI, doesnt even speak politely to patients. Her tone is like ordering to her colleagues, like they are slaves to herNo manners always jumping in, cutting off the conversation, no privacyI hope Labcorp takes action against her soon
. Had blood drawn and the hemotoma and pain havenβt subsided after 24 hours. Iβve never had pain last longer than a couple of minutes before. Clearly the phlebotomist had no skill at this sort of thing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. My hand hurts and is still stiff. When I told them about this the next day, they said there was nothing they could do. Maybe next time get properly trained personnel???? thr place had the exact feel and looks of DMV especially bad in covid season.. how the hell is this place still running after all the bad reviews ??
I just want to say that I had the most wonderful and caring woman taking my blood. Im not sure her name but I was there this morning and she was very polite and I would like her staff to recognize that please. Thank you
This is the worst lab Corp location I have ever been to. Front staff is extremely rude. They call your name behind a window and if you donβt respond within 10 seconds they skip over you. We were worried we were going to miss our name being call so we sat right up front. They canβt even say a name correct. Last name cooper they said it copper and asked to make sure it wasnβt us but it was. I saw front desk arguing with a patient and saw her turn her computer to show her all the names on the screen so she can see when her name was called. Seriously Violation of HIPAA big time and should be closed down just for violating all of our legal rights. Went to the bathroom and saw a dead roach in the bathroom, pee all over the place. Disgusting. Will wait longer for a different location to get an appointment instead of going back to this place.
Recent experience was very unprofessional. A supervisor approached me to talk about something that was very personal. He did so in a very loud voice and in a condescending manner. I spoke with him about his volume and tone. He didnt want to acknowledge it and made it seem irrelevant to chastise a 56 year old man for not being able to pee. The saving grace was the aid that showed patience to me. Would recommend that you go somewhere else. Im actually considering writing to upper management.
Grate service and pleasant place to be. Little busy so management needs to have proper staffing in order to continue providing best service possible.
Yes, like one other reviewer said, that place is run like DMV. Attitude there is terrible and so often they are so rude...and for no good reason. Wish I had a better option than that dump. They really give LabCorp a bad name
I read another review saying itβs like the DMV in there and omg is that true!! Youβll be waiting forever whether you have an appointment or not. The only reason Iβm giving it 3 stars is because the people who have taken my blood were pleasant and nice to me.
Unorganized, chaotic, and rude. They have no regards for others time or any order for the appointments. At least 10 People walked in after me and went in before me. Avoid this place at all cost.
I went here yesterday for a blood test and had a great experience. My appointment time was 9:00am, I got there at 8:55 signed in and was seen by 9:05 then was out the door at 9:15. The front desk staff and techs were very nice.I would recommend this location for sure.
Very unprofessional staff. The front desk had a nasty and mean lady that doesnt know how to do her job. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:00 for my 1 year old son. I checked a bit earlier and the lady told the i had no appointment today. However I tried to show her my phone which had all the information on what time and date, but of course the rude lady didnt even let me talk. Not coming back and hope they improve staff.
Great service! I went in for a one hour glucose test, the process was easy and smooth.
Very Bad sevice
2hr 10min and no service poor customer service. Unsanitary conditions. No 6 foot distancing . Treated like cattle.
This was my best experience at a labcorpby far and I have been to many.Emma the phlebotomist was amazing. She knew I was anxious about having blood drawn as my experiences are always unpleasant. She asked me if I preferred laying down which I did. She carefully examined both arms to determine the better vein then proceeded to draw seven vials of blood. The procedure was over in what seemed to be seconds. She was so kind and funny during my visit! Highly recommend this location and Emma!
The receptionist (Indian lady)was so rude with everyone that had a question. She needs to learn about customer service. The manager Pamma Kaur and the supervisor Komal Patel should train the front desk lady. She has to learn how to treat people. If I can I will like to give 10 starts to the nurse who took blood for my kids. Thank you so much for showing compassion and be caring.
This place isnβt that bad like all the other reviews imply. Itβs just busy with walk-in patients, but what do you expect for the only lab clinic in the area? The receptionist are quick and phlebotomists are great at taking blood. No complaints.
I did the self check in only for it to say I need to do it at the desk, when I went to the desk they said to go away, when I tried to explain they were confused. When trying to look into what documents I needed the website was unhelpful. The one employee that I saw was very impatient and all but explicitly rude. I dont know why that attitude is needed when Im trying to complete a simple task.
I had a very nice experience working with lab corp team today. I stopped in to see if I could get some work done, they were very pleasant and accommodating. Victor whom worked with me was very professional, nice and transparent in everything that was being done. I would highly recommend this facility to my colleagues should they need lab work.
Terrible customer service. Too many people in the waiting room. Waiting time is unbelievable. I wonβt go anymore.
Been to several labcorps/quest diagnostics, this is the worst location of the type I have ever been to. The staff at this location were yelling at customers for no reason, and did not seem like they knew how to do their jobs. I also made an appointment, showed up early, but was still seen 45 minutes late for a procedure that took under 5 minutes.
Im only putting 2 stars because of the convenient location. The staff here is very rude! I took my 2 year old daughter for pediatric blood work & the receptionist was rushing me into the waiting area for appointments. The nurse didnt even acknowledge my daughter.....she was rude & unwelcoming. She did not make my child feel comfortable at all. She didnt even speak to me, just grabbed my daughters arm, all while being very rough, took her blood, then it was over. The staff rushes everyone in & out. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE.
Awful. Only saving grace was I had an appointment, which was taken on time (Saturday mornings here are no joke). The phlebotomist was the worst though - rude and unpleasant. He curtly told me my veins were no good (which Ive had plenty of blood taken and been in the hospital, with no such claim made by a nurse, anesthesiologist, or doctor) yet he took my blood no problem. But the aftermath of the blood draw...my arm blew up and my pointer finger was numb for a day. Ive never experienced such bruising from a routine blood draw! I would rather pay out of pocket and use Quest than suffer LabCorp.
My first time in this office. They have Express Check-In tablets, you scan your ID and you are in the system right away. The Brazilian Lab Tech was very friendly and good hand for blood extraction. I walk In at 2:30pm and took me only 15mnts to get out.
I have found the front staff to be very business like. The folks who have drawn my blood have been skilled and personable.
I love this place. Staff are very efficient and friendly.Have been going to this place for the last 3 years and dont have any complaints. Even though the place is always crowded - patients are attended pretty fast, unlike their neighbour Quest Diagnostics.
JUST DONT GO THEREI checked in at 7:30am for my 8:30am appointment. I waited until about 8:45am when I decided to ask someone at the βfront deskβ, why hadnβt they called my name yet. By this time, the lady had just come back from her break and looked like was chewing something (this is why I assume she was on a break or something). She rudely told me that I had not heard my name being called several times, because I had stepped outside, I had not stepped outside, I was standing there (no seats available because it was so packed) the WHOLE TIME and NEVER heard my name (and I know if they had called me they would only call me ONCE, I had been waiting there for over an hour and have heard them call many names ONCE not several times). So she went ahead and said βwell I donβt know, check in again and we will call you.β I had been waiting there for over an hour for nothing and now I had to wait again? Frustrated I decided to just go to the Robert Wood Johnson Lab on 125 Patterson St (3rd floor), where I was quickly taken care (walked in at 9:00am, by 9:15am I was out). Staff are very friendly and treated me like an actual human being with respect, they are visibly trained to properly take care of patients. I would recommend everyone to go to RWJ instead of Labcorp 1000%Also Labcorp, if youβre going to have automated check-ins make sure that thereβs still someone there to help your customers. While I I was waiting to be called (which never happened), I was approached by two different persons who asked if I could please help them check-in, because they didnβt know how to and were afraid to ask the front desk for help because of how rude they are.
Most of the phlebotomists here lack basic proper training.
Very nasty workers and dont care about peoples feelings. I will never come here again
Very rude stuff, no one take care of patient properly.. This place needs to change the stuff.. get a better people who really care for their position.. their is a man who draws the blood and ask to collect urine he has a very bad attitude, he thinks that he is the only person working their... very very rude stuff and no one is able to guide you better at this place...i would recommend to use different location then this...
Must gotten better I was in and out. Nice amount of people there. Didnt encounter anyone rude. First timer.
This place is HORRIFIC! Once they call your name from the waiting room you have to wait in a hallway with tones of other people who are waiting for blood work ect. Im changing my insurance company Horizon to avoid from having to EVER come here again! America Group lets you go to the lab or hospital to have bloodwork done. Ill be going back to Saint Peters once my insurance changes. This place is a hot mess!
Erica id #157003 is the worset customer service we waited over 1 hour. She had a bad attitude, do not need to spend my money where I get treated Badley. Never again they just last a family of 6.
Took my sister there for her first time only way to sign up is by machine would not take her info asked for help and worker rudely said only one person can help and she was attending someone else admitting staff stinks π· only the staff taking the blood are caring went to Quest labs 49 Varonica Ave they are quite experienced and do a wonderful job
Walked in, there were several people waiting so I asked how long do you think the wait will be, the person at the desk asked me if I see all the people waiting. I told him yes i do but that doesnt answer my question. This is only the second time I have been to this location and both times were not pleasant. They need to work on their people skills.
The receptionist is an ignorant woman that doesnβt belong taking care patients humans or animals or nothing! Rude, disgusting attitude and dirty and they charge to our insurance a lot of money. Please take care this problem ASAP. Grace
The lab tech had good hands, not painful. I was a walk-in and the whole thing took 30 min. Almost no wait time.
The staff is very rude and not organized at all. I went for my routine blood work this morning. When the technician poked the needle in my left arm it hurt, I just thought that it will go away but it not only got worse the area above the needle spot is swollen and bruised. even after almost 2 hours its still hurting. in the middle of drawing the blood she started to chat with a co worker. It was very shocking for me. I have never experienced this kind of pain in any time I ever had the blood work done. I would give no star if there was an option.
Staff would benefit from customer service training. They are short and on the border of being rude, but efficient on doing their task. Some might say that is enough, but they need to remember they are dealing with people and not just a specimen.
This location needs new management. Going by my personal experience and that of this comment section, management is the problem. I absolutely detest coming to this location. 90% of the staff are rude and terrible additudes. Quests needs to open a location near to help give the community another option.
You should be able to give 0 stars. Extremely rude front staff. With all the complaint how have they not changed their staff? Two ladies were engrossed in conversation and when I approached they seemed bothered. They had an attitude about my doctor sending prescription for bloodwork. When they checked the system and it was there they seemed even more annoyed. Iβm sorry you actually have to work whew youβre at work? Also extremely rude to speak in another language when youβre helping a patient. Little did they know I spoke their language. Will be writing a proper complaint on labcorp website. Extremely unprofessional
Im not sure who runs this place but they need a fu overhaul. Even with a appointment i have been here over hour. The staff acts like it doesnt know what its doing.
Had me swipe my credit card. Said I wouldnt get charged without notice. I shouldve known better
Was in and out very quickly. Organized and simplified process.
Employees at the front desk need some HIPPA training and need to stop yelling across the office! The phlebotomist we dealt with barely cracked a smile, and she didnt even introduce herself. When we were checking in, the employee was having a side conversation with another employee. Seriously, things like that can wait.
Standard blood draw facility. They get the job done and send you on your way. No complaints.
Incompetent help who took 40 minutes to register me in -- incorrectly. Then the tech couldnt draw blood primarily because the proper butterfly syringe they said cost too much! I would advise anyone not to go to this facilty.
When I walked in my first thought was Oh No!!!! Every chair was taken and I had to figure out the process. What I found was that if you make your appointment on line, it is a very easy process. Check in, log in on the system (they had 5-7 of them so there was no wait) and people came by and asked if anyone needed help. Mine was simple because I had registered inline. I waited 5 minutes and was called to the first girl who processed my forms. And then waited maybe 5-10 minutes for the lab tech. The entire experience was about 30 minutes. The staff was kind to me (worked with me even though I didnt have some things with me - again because I made my appt online they had everything they needed ). I think it may be a very different experience if you walk in.
Dirty poor customer service, self check in is terrible. went there for pre employment test, checked in, waited 30 minutes with out anyone helping me, asked at front desk, they said they no longer offer that test at this location. wasted hours of my time on their careless mistake.
Made an appointment online two weeks prior. On the day of the appointment, a rainy day, I was in and out in 10 minutes, literally. The most painless blood draw ever.
I always go to labcorp Somerset for blood test. The staff is great. Usually I see Victor, he is amazing. I leave with no bruises on my arm.
Seems to have gotten worse over the years. New checkin system is not faster.
The lady at the front desk is rude, they dont know how to run there computers! Been here 2 times for the same test because I pay credit card! But victor was good about drawing my blood! Its hard for me to take off work fasting but to have to take 2 days off same week hurts!
I arrived past hours for a drug screen and even though they were closed, they willingly and pleasantly performed the necessary services! It was a fast and friendly visit and I could not be happier!
The staff was very unprofessionalShe asked for help before she started drawing blood!!And eventually she broke my vein.I wish I could give zero star.
Coming from a pediatric ER nurse....Ive never experienced such a painful stick before in my life. The tech had no bed side manners, no introduction. Stabbed my arm with the needle so hard I could cry. The man also used an unnecessary large 20gauge for a simple lab draw. Now he blew my vein and my arm is completely swollen and painful. He also threw the tourniquet across the room into the garbage. This man should not be around patients and should have a reevaluation.
Worst experience Ive had in a very long time. The supreme leader in the back (Genghis David Depaola) treats everyone like a bag of crap. I would expect to get treated better if I were to get processed in a high security prison for violent offenders. Just the worst...
Positives: Conveniently located, ample parking, facility is clean, walk ins welcome.Negatives: As other reviewers pointed out, the staff is unprofessional and rude. They require a credit card during check in. Crowded with insufficient check in staff. My Experience: My phlebotomist did not say hello, good morning or good bye. She removed the blood tube earlier and realized that she didnt collect enough blood. Hence she had try again. For a person who does 100 times a day dont you know the sufficient amount to collect?I will be looking for another lab next time.
Dont go to this place is terrible staff is rude and they dont care about making you feel comfortable I visit this location back in February the lady at the front desk kept saying how bad she needed to go to the bathroom, when I ask her if I had any copay she said I dont know you need to wait for you bill, gave me a paper and said you need to sign this when I read it it was a waiver or something making me responsable for the charges I told but why do I have to sign this is have my insurance, she answer this is just a procedure with out this we cant proceed Ive been fasting the whole day and it was almost 1pm so I sign and I ask her again is there any way of knowing if there is any charge for the test that I need to pay she said I already told you no you need to wait for you bill, never told me that they dont work with my insurance. Now in April they charge my card with out even advising me for almost $600 when I called them the answer of the customer service rep was well we dont work with your insurance they dint cover your test. And I asked her what you mean I asked the lady, her answer was is not our responsibility to tell you, you should educate your self about you insurance that was her answer. Dont go to this place and if you do, do your research before so you dont go thru what Im going to with a charge on your card with out notice.
Worst lab experience of my life....and Im a cancer survivor so thats saying something. The tech couldnt even tell what she was testing me for, I had to show her how to read the prescriptions. She fished all around one arm because she was too busy talking and being distracted. When the supervisor had to come in and help her, he blew out the vein on my other arm. They didnt even complete all the tests they were supposed to so I have to get more blood drawn and my arms arent even healed yet. Worst customer service ever.
I came in here with happy and positive mind regardless the bad reviews. Im glad Id a very good experience here. The front desk lady, Liz, who registered me is knowledgeable. The guy who draw my blood, named Dwan, is professional and he is really an experienced staff who did his job well. Im thankful. In my past history, many nurses couldnt get my blood from my arms due to my tiny veins and it always takes long time and ended up they have to draw it from my hand. However, this time, Dwan, able to draw my blood from my left arm (although he also stated my veins are tiny) in a couple minutes for 10 tubes! First time in my life ;-) (Side note/advise: you gotta drink a lot of waters the day before, and also I drank 2 cup of waters since I wake up and before my appointment on 11am).Overall, Im very satisfied.
Dont take toddlers (less than 3 years) here. Tech was competent, but certainly not warm & fuzzy enough for my 15 month old. Tech drew blood, but lost the tiny vein and had to dig around for a new one for the second vile. Should have heeded the screaming from the young child before us.
I would give it one star as most of the people working here have no idea about the retail aspect of this business. Secondly the technician assigned to draw blood was wearing an earring and least concerned about the patients self respect. I will start by saying that I felt it extremely unorganized as soon as I entered. It was snowing and doors did not have auto shut on them. Every time a patient entered the facility, they were asked by the receptionist to to and close the door behind them. During the blood draw the earring wearing technician acted like the supreme being and cared least about us. If we dared to ask a question, it was answered with pure ignorance and nonsense. There was a moment when another technician had to remind him that we are patients and should be treated with respect. The best part of it was technician loudly saying Mama Mia. Will not recommend anyone to go there.
I tried scheduling online but everything was booked for almost 2 weeks. However you do not need an appointment to get blood work done so I jus walk in. Pretty convenient!
This Lab Corp location is terrible. For the volume of customers/patients who use this location they dont provide enough seating. They use express check-in tablets which makes the process far from express. The staff are very rude and unpleasant. Its like they have a staff meeting before they start their day and say alright team lets show the people how nasty we can be. No one walks out having a positive experience After my recent visit I learned the local hospital has satellite labs throughout the area that accept most major insurance. Not coming to this place anymore. I wish I could give less than 1 star.
After using their iPad to check in, I realized that if they would replace all of the staff with iPads, it would be much friendlier place. The emotionally dead receptionist forgot about my Fri, 9:30am appointment FOR MY 2 YR OLD, but wouldnt acknowledge it as she crossed out the 9:45am that she just called. 20 min after our appointment time we were waiting on line again inside, this time jockeying for position with others who have a laminated appointment star. No appointment? good luck. Glad I brought paper and crayons.Woman who drew my daughters blood didnt introduce herself (AT LEAST TO MAKE MY TODDLER MORE COMFORTABLE) and had her back to us as often as possible.
First your check in express is useless. It doesnt work and when you ask for help from the staff, that are so quick to be extremely rude. If you dont like your job then you can clearly quit, no one is forcing you to stay. The worst thing about this place is th front desk receptionist. They are ruder than the employees at the DMV. Being rude would not get you far in life. Do not catch an attitude if I ask you a simple question. A
The very worst experience. Staff was not helpful. Patients were treated like animals. I bought my young daughter here in the face of serious medical concerns and this experience only made things worse. Patients forced to wait - no one allowed to use the bathroom (not even those accompanying patients) Very disappointing.
Quite organized and approachable staff. This is a very busy labcorp however I was in and out in 35 mins or less. Dave was the best phlebotomist... he looked and found the vein on my arm! Im glad I ignored the bad reviews on this site and went to this center. Thank you Somerset Labcorp π!
Dont bither making appts, because they wont see you on time anyway. Unprofessional, and not very friendly ! Should offer more comfortable seating for patiants who are getting timely testing (ex: glucose testing)
Today my 4 year old son Maddox got his blood work drawn for the very first time at Labcorp on Veronica avenue and look at what they did to his arm. I was hugging Maddox in a Mama bear hug so he wouldnβt move while another phlebotomist held his arm down so it wouldnβt move so the main phlebotomist could take his blood. However, I didnβt realize they were digging their nails on his arm as they were holding him down BUT he was NOT moving.BEWARE DO NOT TAKE your kids here to get blood work done. I will NEVER take my son here again. The phlebotomist even had the nerve to prick him twice because he kept moving the needle in and out of the vein even when I asked him nicely to please take it out since he wasnβt getting any blood return. NEVER AGAIN! π‘π‘π‘I posted photos so I hope it loads and shows what they did to my little boy!
I went in for a drug test. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I was helped by a Portuguese guy who was very friendly and very straightforward with the procedure.
I do not recommend coming hear as the staff is very rude. I came in to ask a question and as I was walking towards the window the manager turned her back on me as if she didnt see me. Please go somewhere else.
I wish i could give negative stars. i had to go in for a pre-employment drug screening. LabCorp apparently has new hours, where they only do drug tests from 11am-3pm. My employer didnt know and told me to go first thing in the morning. Front desk staff was rude, it was crowded and the office is very small. The man who collected my specimen (tall man with an earring) was horribly rude and insulting to me for no reason. id go to a different one just to avoid him.
I had no complaints was in and out .
Unfriendly, rude, in organized and charged me for blood work 2 years old and I have the same insurance. I asked Why would you not charge me when services were done 2 years ago? Her answer was I dont know. Call your Insurance company and Job.... Just Sad....
Going to this labcorp felt very similar to my experience of going to a crowded DMV in NYC. My husband and I took our one year old there for blood work because we were told there would be a pediatric phlebotomist there. I initially called to make an appointment and they told me I can just come in. I thought maybe they werent too busy since appointments were not necessary. They open at 7 and we got there around 8am. It was packed and literally there was nowhere to sit. We had to wait about an hour before we actually saw a phlebotomist and when I asked for the pediatric phlebotomist, the receptionist told me everyone who works there does children. I thought that was weird since I was told there was a specific person who does infants and children. The first phlebotomist couldnt locate my babys vein so she called an older gentleman in who proceeded to stick the needle into my childs right arm without even finding a vein. Then he proceeded to FISH around for his vein for what felt like almost five minutes while Im holding my son down and he is screaming and sweating his head off. So then a third phlebotomist comes in and just goes on and on about how my sons veins are too skinny and its very hard to find but proceeds to try to collect blood from a very skinny one she found on the left arm. After fishing around she locates it but the vein is so skinny she is only able to fill about 1 and 1/8 of the two test tubes. Meanwhile my son is getting more and more worked up and continues to scream and get traumatized from this whole ordeal. If youre looking to get your childs especially your one year olds blood work done, do not go to this place because none of the phlebotomist really knew how to draw blood from such a tiny person and they showed no sympathy or care to the screaming and crying baby. I wish I never ever went here in the first place. The highlight of all this is that they said if the lab rejects the blood samples because one of them is too little, I will have to return. No thank you. I will be going to a more experienced lab who actually can work with babies!
