Unfortunately I had a very bad and expensive experience. My central air stopped working on June 26th right before the major heat wave. I called on a Sunday for service/repair. The technician showed up and asked if Ive ever had it serviced and explained that the unit was old (its 12 yrs old) and that I should replace. I explained that replacing was not an option at the moment. He checked the unit and said that it was low on freon. He said that it would cost $100 a pound since its older refrigerant (R22) being that I have children and an elderly person I said go ahead. After he was done I checked the air and it did not feel very cold. He said it would take a while because my house was 85 degrees. He said to continue to spray water on the compressor. After the next day the central air was still not working. I sent him a text and he did call back. I asked him if why he didnt check for leaks and he said that the compressor was maintaining 100 pounds of pressure and continued to say my unit needed to be replaced. My response was, if you would have checked for leaks you would have discovered it. He continued to repeat that it held its pressure and that it was old. He said he would come over and add sealant to the unit for another$150. Why would I do that when you dont know how bad the leak is. I was charged $150 for the call and $450 for the freon. I called Edison cooling and heating. They came over and checked to see that I had no freon and it has a major leak. If Standard air would have done the same it would have saved me the $450 I spent for the freon.i would not recommend anyone to use his service...for something as simple as checking for leaks he clearly shows his lack of knowledge and professionalism and basically robbed me

He is wonderful and when other people said need to replace whole house ac units. He came and fix my ac units right away. I am pregnant and I get hot easily. My husband called him and he fix it. Also after two weeks my thermostat stat broke and I called Best Buy people who charge me tons of money and did not did good job. We called him again and he fixes everything that need to do right way. Now my ac air come cool and feels good. His price is so reasonable too.

My AC decided to stop working right at the beginning of a heat wave. I called Amjid in the early afternoon, the hottest part of the day, and he came right away. Our unit is very old (from the 80s) and he was able to diagnose the issue and fix such an old unit. Hes friendly, knowledgeable and communicates well. Very disappointed. A big guy came over to the fix. After an hour, he kept giving added up pricing and just suspected the issue of transformer. Being annoying, instead of being professional to explain the reason, after inquiring basic questions, he asked my wife to step aside to let him “focus “ and let me not to disturb him. I have to pay him 225 for nothing and let him go. Nothing is fixed.

Came out the same day I called on a Sunday and got the Air Conditioner working again quickly, as well as explained to me what to watch out for to prevent or react to future problems quickly. Im very happy with the service provided.

Our AC suddenly stopped blowing cold air so I decided to call standard conditioning. Very professional over the phone and showed up to assist us with the issue within 45 mins. I called and Mr. Amjid arrived the same day, my furnace was not working. He figured out the problem and put in a new capacitor to help the weak motor, which I have to replace in the future, also part of the problem was clogged and dirty filter, which the original home owner used AJ Perri and even though they did routine maintenance they never changed the filter, meanwhile they charge a arm and a leg. I ended up ordering Aprilair filters. Current ones are absolutely dirty and disgusting and full of dust. Thank you Mr. Amjid.05/04/21Called Mr Amjad as I have called him the first time above. Today I called him and he promptly came over which I love about him. He went above and beyond and even though the job was more of plumbing nature, I called him because he does an excellent job and I have peace of mind, he even called in to after couple of hours to ask if everything was up to par and nothing was leaking. I asked him to replace my vacuum breaker on my sprinkler system, and the previous owners had it installed with a company called eco systems and they did not do such a good job, the way Mr Amjid did it so I can replace it myself in the future, and he put a check valve so I can drain the system myself come winter to winterize the system and drain water so it does not damage my new valve He put in today on top of that he suggested I get my self a small compress so I can blow the air out the system. Prior to that I was on the phone with him countless times, it’s like I was calling a friend and god bless him he has a very good personality.Thank you Mr Amjid For helping me out today I know you typically don’t do these types of jobs.Just all around good experience and most of all peace of mind.

Very honest, reasonably priced and very skilled technician. I had initially made an appointment with a large HVAC company, but decided Amjid’s company because he was local. This turned out to be a good decision for me. Amjid showed up and spent his first half hour thoroughly educating me about the various components of the system while quickly diagnosing the problem. He didn’t try to sell me expensive components that i didn’t need. It was a clogged drainage pipe with the secondary pipe missing a cap, which reduced forced air into the primary pipe that caused water to leak around the unit and onto the basement floor. Small inexpensive fix which he showed me how to fix myself! He eventually ended up installing and rerouting new pipes for a better drainage. If you’re looking for a good honest technician, I’d highly and enthusiastically recommend him! He has already entered my excel sheet for go to person for all my heating/ air conditioning needs. Came Monday, polite and seemed to have fixed our AC issue. Charged me $125 but AC stopped working again the next day. Came back and charged me $235 for the same service I expected on Monday, saying other parts were broken. Asked why, couldn’t get a clear answer. Cut the check and moving on.

I had another company come give me an estimate and they told me that my two $9,000 units were shot and could not be repaired but only replaced. Correctly diagnosed by Standard and fixed just costing me few hundred dollars. Mohammed did a great job getting my a/c unit up and running. Initially had an issue with my older model. It was not getting cold. Mohammed did some troubleshooting and discovered that the condenser and coil were no good and that I needed a new system. Fast forward to today, the new unit has been installed without any issues and is working perfectly (especially during this period of hot weather that we are having). Price for new unit was also very reasonable!

We have a compressor for a walk-in cooler at our restaurant that was malfunctioning. Amjid was able to come the same day that I called. He identified leaks in the freon tubing, and welded on new copper pipes. The walk-in working perfectly now. Pricing was very reasonable as well. Great work!

Was available on short notice while the air conditioner was having trouble keeping up with the heat. Most companies were booked for at least a week. He was able to come quickly, and even offered to come on July 4th. Quickly identified the couple issues (condenser pump being on the wrong side of an improperly leveled unit, and the system needing to be refreshed with Freon gas). Great service, would recommend!
