I took my TV to Als as a friend of mine spoke highly of the shop. I was quoted an initial servicing fee, to be used towards repairs if I so chose to have my TV repaired and very professional service. The guys there contacted me quickly with answers and my TV was repaired and returned without any further issues. I was even told if there were any more problems to give the a call and they would take care of it. Thank you very much for your great service. Ill be sure to tell all my friends, family and co-workers.

At first I thought Hey, heres a local business that I would like to support with my patronage, lets try Als before I default to some Big Box store (like Best Buy, etc.)After greeting who I can only assume to be Albert, seeing as how its Als TV Service Center and all, I say the following:I have a Sharp 50 LED TV (LC-50LB481U) that has some sort of backlight malfunction. I already assume its one of three things.. One of two circuit boards or the LEDs Backlights themselves. Can you help me with this?Immediately and almost to the point of interrupting me he says This aint no hobby shop, you bring your TV in & itll cost $50 for me to look at it, and then ill quote you an additional repair cost.I persist, explaining how Id be willing to order the required part through him, and even pay him for this service.Again, Albert interrupts me and even starts to talk over my inquiries while smugly shaking his head no and says: This aint no hobby shop, not interested, goodbye (and he repeats not interested, goodbye continually until Ieave his store.Soooo... Short-story long, Als TV Service Center is apparently doing very well, so much so that it can afford to alienate new customers within a mere 5-minute interaction.1/5 Stars, would not recommend. I was going to give this place a chance but I couldnt get any of the answers I was looking for from the guy. I just want to know if the repairs needed are going to supercede the cost of a new t.v. In his professional opinion But apparently its a secret and he wont tell me until IA. Allow him to come do a diagnostic test in my home for $87.50 orB. Lug my 65 to his shop and pay a $50.00 depositThen and only then can I find out the problem. Ill pass!!! The reviews help make my decision easier.

The worst cx service I ever experienced! I paid $50 for diagnostic, they refused to tell me what the problem was with my TV and they want me to pay an extra $275 for the repair, they said we will fix your tv and then once the payment is received they will let me know what the problem was, I thought me payment the diagnostic fee at least will give the rights to know what was wrong! Really a shady way to do bussines.

I would give them a 0 but i had to give them a rating. They destroyed my 65 inch,3D,HD,LED over 220 mghz Smart Tv. I never chose this company but they were subcontracted through my warranty company who after the damage, they stated they just chose the company that was near me.They contacted me to tell me that the part was in& when I called back the next day, they told me Friday 1/8/16. I asked for a time&they told me they didnt know &would let me know on Friday.Dealing with the attitude &CS, every fiber in my body told me to run&contact my warranty company to send someone else out.However,I was off today &have a medical dinner in my home tomorrow so I need the tv to show the spectacular pic it use to show.Anyone who came into out home always stated that out tv looked like they were at the movies& that the people on the set looked like they were going to jump off the set.They sent 2 guys out.One guy could barely speak& the repair guy that worked on the set could barely speak english & never explained what they were doing, never asked what the problem was to even make sure they were repairing the right thing.I took pics prior to them coming for samsung &after they left.They just grabbed my set,put a power drill to it.When he turned it back on,everything was upside down.I asked if there was anything they needed me to do& they stated no, the repair guy just said mistake to his self &put a drill back to my set Also, the pic was grainy,fuzzy & U could not even make the words out on the set.My stomach was turning.I became very nervous but continued to play with my puppy The repair guy once they felt that they were done,never explained what was done,&how the problem they thought was fixed.They just handed me a receipt to sign.I then went through the channels& I almost fainted. My tv was worse then prior to them coming.When i tried to explain to the tech &show him before &after,he just laugh, kept smiling &said its good. I then told the other guy who spoke english to see that my set was horrible& worse before they came.He just looked at me & said nothing.I felt like I was in the twilight zone,then the non repair guy said do I have a dvd player i said yes, he then said oh thats it turn on the dvd player &it will be clearer.Iknew that he was going to lie and blame it on something else so i showed him the dvd was never hooked up.He then blamed it on the brand new direct tv box that we just replaced mind you the tv only became worse once he replaced the board.I do not know if the parts are boot leg or that they order parts from somewhere but my tv is destroyed.I knew i ws getting no where so once they left I contacted Als.This guy flipped out!! He yelled &verbally assaulted me.He then told me hes been in business over 50 yrs &that his tech is from korea. I dont know what he meant by that because regardless of where the guy is ffrom, he damaged my set,could not talk &laughed when i said its worse.The owner then said that he knew i wasnt going to be happy &that i was never going to satisfied.My neighbor who walked in my home &started recording the call almost fell out as well.She could not believe that this business owner who never met me & this was the first time in my home to work on our set would say those things I explained that i was at his beck & call & did not want to argue with him &would I be able to take cell pics to show him how his guy left my tv set? He stated no he didnt need to see any pics and that his guy is from korea over&over again.He has this boot leg tech having him think that he is this big tech guy & they just screwed up my set.the owner continued to to yell& talk to me like i was garbage or less than. After i was standing holding the phone in tears&shaking my neighbor said to just hang up but i begged this guy to just see if someone else could come out or him or let me emails pics to show him what was done to me set.money was not an object .Called BBB,Samsung & warranty company who was flabergasted when i told them what happen and thank god they had me send pics before they came and after. This business gets one star because there is no option for less. there is no business i would trust less. i would rather shoot myself in the foot than trust this man with my tv he is disrespectful and downright deceitful and shooting myself instead would probably save me money. i bought a 55 inch hd 3d plasma panasonic smart tv and after 8 months the screen would not come on and the power button blinked 7 times. i did the first thing you normally have to do with electronics and unplugged it, let it set for a while and tried again problem solved. until a year and a day from the date of purchase when while watching television the screen shut off and the same exact problem happened. this time i researched online and found out this is a frequent problem with panasonic plasma screens and that the number of times the power light blinks is a code for what the issue is. 7 times means that one of the three circuit boards, specifically the sc board is failing. i then called panasonic, they extended my warranty to another month to cover the repair and they referred me to als tv service. this is where things got truly upsetting. i called als and asked him how much it would be for an estimate and if it were free. aint nuthin in this world free lady he said condescendingly then told me it would cost $50 and that he would not pick it up. i had a camping trip planned for the next day so i decided to take it to him then. i removed the backseat of my suburban and placed it on the stand strapping it in. upon dropping it off my husband and a close family friend carried it in and the elderly woman that was there told us to just lay it down over here on the cart. i told her that you cannot do that to a tv, so she had me use the stand and place it on the 3 foot push cart. i asked her if she wanted to strap it down seeing as it was large enough to extend over the edge of the cart she assured me it would be fine. i payed them the fee and they said they would call me. i didnt hear from them for a week at which point i took it upon myself to call them. i asked how much the repair would cost and he boldly states its done i cant repair it your screen is cracked its clearly visible when the screen is on keep in mind that the reason i took it there was that the screen would not come on. i told him there was no way my tv was cracked it never been off the stand till i took it there and i handled it with the utmost care yeah we see this a lot with people who own a wii he said i told him that i dont own a wii. he said well it doesnt happen just by being watched i told him if the tv screen was broken it didnt happen happen while it was in my possession and that it must have happened in his shop at which point he denied it. i said i dont believe you. he told me to whatever do what you want

This place is a joke! Horrible customer service and terrible attitude. Tried to charge my $270 to fix a 15 dollar circuit board. Will never get my service again. Ever
