The hours say it’s open until 8pm but I drove up at 7:10 almost an hour before they closed and they had this Jeep blocking the entrance. The guy waved me off. They had two cars inside so it’s not like they were backed up and could not get finished by 8pm. I think first of all it’s very unprofessional to have a Jeep blocking your entrance and wave people away without a explanation but also your hours are until 8pm. So why is anything blocking the entrance at 7:10?
They put washer fluid in the tank for coolant, other than that good service
They definitely have my business from now on. I got an oil change air filter changed and my blades changed for under $200. Plus it was all done under an hour. Definitely have to give them props I normally go to my car dealership to get an oil change and change my air filters and not once did they ever change the air filter inside the car. It was black 😳. I am beyond happy with the service that I got with them.

It was the only place I had my oil changed till now. I wouldnt recommend this place to no one. They said it would be 20 minutes and after 45 minutes they told me they was gonna move me to another bay because they were having trouble with the person in front of me when no one was working on the truck. The women were flirting with the guy instead of doing their job. I will take my business elsewhere.

I have always done my own maintenance on my vehicles and started building vehicles at a young age so I have a pretty good background in mechanics. I was about to hit 3000 miles on an upcoming oil change, so being lazy i pulled in after the grocery store. Got my oil changed and before I could pull out of the bay I got a check engine light. Never had one on this vehicle so I immediately didnt trust the center. So i pulled out and went to oreillys approx 1 min away to run a diagnostic and they said it was the knock sensor which was weird. The knock sensor is located under the intake manifold and the wire runs behind the block and connects to a harness just in front of the transmission. So to inspect i climbed underneath the vehicle and found the wire had been cut with dikes just out view at about the transmission/block intersection but to where you could get a tool on it. You could see by the clean cut on the wire and where it was located that it was cut. 50 dollar sensor but a 900 dollar fix at a shop. Now Im forced to spend 8 hours fixing it since they are crooks. I would give them negative 1000 if I could! Last time I dont do my own change.

1. Never have 10w_30. 2.So I got a discount on a more expensive oil but they did not want to use my coupon at first. 3. Tryed to up sell tire rotation... Never looked at my new tires with less then 180 miles on them. 4. Could not explain why the number on filter was different then on computer. Said had to do with dealer at first then said lot of same model cars have different parts. Then maybe was changed out... Ive owned this for 16 years. 5. Got home and looked under hood and air filter was not on properly and vent not reconnected. P S They asked about replacing air filter that was good and clean still. Nice try

Not only was the services completed in a timely manner but he was also able to complete a service another Valvoline said they were unable to do because they could not take off the hose. If they continue their service like today, Ill never go anywhere else. They were busy, but Ive never experienced as thorough. I personally have control issues so I appreciate hearing each step communicated to each other. Even at the end I heard the check list announced. Washer cap tight, oil cap tight, etc may not seem like a big deal, but I feel good knowing it was done. Usually they show me the air filter when it needs changed, but today they showed me just so I would know how much it has progressed. Topped off wiper fluid, checked tire pressure, lights, signals, and checked rest of fluids. I wasnt told until today that I get an oil top off in between changes and a tire pressure check any time. Thats very helpful info. And I dont know if the girl was supposed to stand there that long talking to me, but she could tell I was having a rough day and it really turned my mood around, so please overlook it if she should have been doing something else. They always try to add on a thousand different things every time I go. That I don’t need! I just want my oil changed not added purchases that I have already done at a cheaper place.
This service I had was fast and seamless. They got everything done and even replaced my windshield wipers. They let me use a coupon on my extra work needed which saved me a good 20 or 30 bucks.
Went by at 7pm, the website said they close at 8pm, for a service and there was a white car blocking the entry and they were closing all the doors. I went out of my way to go here because they were supposed to be open late. Update your hours or stay open as long as your website says. It’s not hard.

Usually these people are professional and regimented in their service but today, not so much. If I hadnt witnessed the oil go into my engine Id have literally checked it myself.
The staff were very polite, explained all the products to me. It was efficient, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
Always been my go to for oil change for the past 3 years. Waited 40mins today to have them tell me to pull out of a bay and let a person that wasnt even there before me to be serviced first. Then instead of putting in me in line for a soon to be opened bay, they let another person that JUST GOT THERE into that line. I never thought Id feel the need to put a negative review anywhere but this really just wasted practically an hour of my time on a tight schedule. Its really suck because i really enjoyed my past experiences here

I requested a serpentine belt replacement which resulted in a 5 hour waiting game that ended up with my vehicle being towed to my house. Valvoline please do not advertise a service that you cant do or that you cant troubleshoot.

At the time I visited the workers were more concerned with an ice cream truck customer and buying popsicles than helping actual customers. The entire crew seemed very young and not focused. My oil was not changed properly and I had to return the next day to have something that was not cleaned properly of old oiled cleaned again. The neglected caused my garage to be stained of old oil. The guys were friendly and did take precautions due to Covid-19. But I think I will stick with the prior company I was using.
AC out on my 06 Trailblazer. Id had it looked at by another tech and they mentioned the AC clutch wasnt opening and it wasnt a coolant issue.I thought on it then took the vehicle to DANY at the SMYRNA SAM RIDLEY location. He explained, if the coolant was too low, the system shut down. Sure enough, he filled the system and the AC is BACK! THANK YOU DANY! When I saw your name, I KNEW youd be great!
I came in today for an oil change. I had to wait a bit, but it was a busy time of the day. When I got in there Landon was there to help. He was so great!! He answered my silly questions, while working on my vehicle, while everyone was asking for his help. He really did a great job, along with the other staff there today. Also a shout out to the guy working under my car! You guys are awesome!!

I received good service here, the staff were friendly and I got what I paid for...even if it was a little pricey ($107 for a full synthetic oil change + an extra quart!). I like that they call out what each other are doing, and have a checklist at the end they go through. They also have a camera you can see from your car that shows what the guy under your car is doing. Cant give them 5-stars because of the price and it took about 9 minutes longer than the 15 they say it will. Overall though a pretty good place.

They have a pleasant and professional staff. They were very informative with relaying the information about your vehicle that you need to know. They simply suggested things that needed to be done, but werent pushy if you werent interested. They also send you coupons in the mail that knock off about $10 around the time you need to have your oil changed again, which is a helpful reminder. I will definitely be going back for all my routine maintenance.

Very slow ..it took one around 45 min to change oil and filter..staff not friendly at all ...
I took three of my vehicles to this location to get an oil change and radiator flush. The next day when driving one of my vehicles home from work, the engine began to overheat and I had to pull over on the side of the interstate. I opened the hood of my vehicle and noticed that there was no coolant in the reserve tank. I was too far from home to risk driving it and ended up having to get the vehicle towed back to Valvoline in order for them to fix it. When they took a look at the vehicle the gentleman that was helping me said that there was more than likely an air bubble and they did not fill the coolant all the way up. He did not look at anything else that could have possible gone wrong, topped my vehicle off, and told me that should fix it. I returned home, and later that evening noticed a pool of coolant under my car, and my reserve tank a quarter full at this point. I drove my car back to Valvoline the next day and they looked at it again and told me that whoever did the radiator flush did not hook the hose back up all the way, causing a leak. All in all it was a simple mistake but I had to take my car back there twice, pay for a tow, and they didnt offer any kind of discount or refund on the service. I will not be back to Valvoline in the future for my oil change needs.
Got my wifes oil changed here yesterday and it was a great experience. I got there right after they opened and they were already busy, but I was still in and out in under 30 minutes. The staff members I dealt with were very friendly and the one who went over everything with me even added a service I had performed elsewhere to their system so as to not have it show undone in their system. Great job all around!

Went here once a few months ago, my car started having trouble & my bf works on cars too, so he checked it out and found a Vavoline paper from the day I went. It was folded up perfectly blocking my cars air filter, this definitely shouldnt have been there & I guess they wanted more business from breaking my vehicle. Horrible & unprofessional business, theyll purposefully break your stuff or set it up to break later on down the road so you wont think its them.
The mechanics were very proactive and knowledgeable about the services provided. They were also pleasant and honest and didnt try to upsell me but simple provided exceptional customer service.
I was at the Smyrna, TN location today. Staff were friendly and I have no complaint about them. My issue was that I was waiting behind ONE truck getting an oil change. I was there for at least an hour! They directed me to that particular bay. I had been waiting to enter my bay Longer than anyone in the other bays. Both cars were taken in and serviced before my car was finished. I may not go back. Looked like Corporate people were there probably screwing up the flow of business!! I seriously am considering checking out Firestone or another place.
Update - Now it has been 3 weeks, my wifes car is still in pieces, not a word from the location that screwed up her car and assured her they would fix it, and in response to this review I have been told to call their Customer Care.... Thanks for nothing. Your company steals pieces off of my wifes car and after weeks of talking to your employees and getting nothing more than lip service you solution is I kowtow to your profit focused processes and waste more of my time on the phone with your unresponsive, uncaring, unconcerned team of do-nothings. Heres an idea, if you were really concerned in the least you should get in touch with the location, talk to any of the 3 names mentioned in the post and get this resolved. Wouldnt that be a novel approach to customer service... you spend your time messing with the problem you created instead of continually wasting the time of your patrons while you copy and paste stupid cookie cutter responses to their concerns. Its really pathetic that I have to tell you this in the first place. PS - Never got a return call from the Regional Manager, Will Anderson. Now all of the lack of skills in customer experience is starting to make sense, it is systemic apathy coming from the top down.Ive had it with this place. They took a skid plate off my wifes car and didnt replace it when the oil change was done. Once it was identified they refused to get my wife back in a bay to replace it, opting instead to send a flunky out into their parking lot to do it. He must have been tired of sitting in the rain because he only put on 3 of 7 fasteners it started with. Imagine the total lack of surprise when the plate fell off later that same day, leaving my wife stranded on the side of the road.Now its 2 weeks later, weve heard zero although they took my wifes info at least 3 times and said it would only be a day or 2 so I called to speak to the manager, Landon, about why this hasnt been resolved. Apparently Chris (the other manager) and Justin (random employee my wife spoke with) have done nothing to resolve this or even bother letting us know they decided we were on our own to remedy their issues.So to review 2 weeks ago we paid this clown show money, they reassembled my wifes car wrong which caused her to be stranded on the side of the road, admitted the issue, and have taken zero steps to remedy it. Typical situation.... takes the money, screws up, admits they screwed up, and does nothing to correct it because that would mean they have to come off their profits and do something for the customer instead of their shareholders.Ill be interested to see what their Regional Manager, Will Anderson, has to say when he returns the voicemail I just left him, but Im not expecting to hear from him at all considering how little these people care about doing the right thing following their blunders. I mean, times must be tough for them when they cant even come off the few bucks and spare the manpower to correct the problems they cause. A problem that left my wife stranded on the side of the road.I really feel bad for the people who like coming to this place considering this location is screwing up everyones cars and those other patrons just dont know it yet. Do yourself a favor and pick a business that doesnt hide behind their ineptitude after they screw up your car so bad your stuck on the side of the road, and then spend 2 weeks cowardly laughing at you behind your back while pretending to care to your face.

Excellent service but annoying attempts to upsell on things that might be recommended for my mileage but not specific to my cars actual condition. Its quick and convenient but sometimes I go elsewhere so I dont have to keep saying NO.
Overall a great experience, the Manager took the time to welcome me as I waited and engage in friendly conversation. I had time consuming work done and most all of the well trained professional staff seemed to truly love what they were doing and had great attitudes.
I got my check engine light was on but it was just my tire indicator. Young man was sweet put air in it for and sent me on my way good as new. Will definitely come back here for all my oil changes
They look like they do good service but I never made it into a bay for a oil change, we were sitting outside for 45 minutes. So we decided to leave cause we were on our way out of town and all that the sitting was not allotted into the trip.

Always friendly and knowledgeable. Offers many free services if you ask them and several more minor maintenance services for a small fee that I would otherwise have to take to a mechanic. They adjusted my headlamps for me without a cost, for instance, and told me what the service code was when I got a check engine light.
