Extremely happy with my recent experience at this Pep Boys. They had what I needed and were able to get me in next day. Kim at the front is wonderful. I will be back because of his service and kindness! I absolutely recommend coming here!

The man at the front desk, I believe his name was Kim, was very helpful and professional! I didn’t have an appointment and it was 30 minutes before they closed. I was having a problem with my battery and without me asking he offered to check under the hood. As soon as he did he saw it was a quick fix and I was out in less than a minute! Will definitely be back for future car issues (hoping not anytime soon). lol definitely recommend!!

This place is horrible I spent 2400 on my car to run correctly and my car is barely driving now went up there the staff was not apologetic they just let anyone work on your car I called corporate they are not helping I’m looking to sue because I feel because I’m young they abused the fact I am and just did anything to my car and told me it’s drivable please don’t go there and LADIES IF YOU ARE A FEMALE DONT GO THERE BY YOURSELF . Because now I have 2400 down the drain and my car is still barely running when I hit the gas and ON TOP OF IT ALL THEY GOT ALL THAT MONEY FROM ME AND STILL DIDN’T DO NO WORK AND MY OIL WAS LOW WHEN I GOT IT THE STORE MANAGER NEVER CALLED THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE AND I KEEP CALLING ASKING WHAT ALL WAS DONE FOR 1700 they are still not giving me no good response

Last week I got my front rotors replaced. The staff made the process easy. They called to let me know the price and offer a financing option if needed before proceeding. My truck has been running amazing since then!Johnny provided great customer service and his team got the job done efficiently.

March 2020 took my car to get new tires, oil change and was told I needed alignment after they took the tires off and u could see the damage to the tires so a day later came back to have alignment done . Moving forward to April 2021 I get a flat tire and when I go back to the shop I’m told I need new tires again because I did not have a alignment done on the car recently. Explained what I had done within the past year and was told I actually should have an alignment every 6 months which is not true ! so they give me discount on new tires and say to bring the car back the next day for another alignment. Now September 2021 I take my car to the dealership this time and I’m told I need another set of back tires (3rd set) and alignment! This shop never did the alignment on my car last years visit or this years visit . I will never go back to this place.

Small little shop here. Wait times are longer than some others and there is not much of a waiting room here. Jerry is a great, thorough, and pleasant technician to deal with, and Johnny and Kim are both excellent in helping your needs at the front counter.Make sure you drop your car off if you want any significant work done. Theyll do it right the first time though!

Sep 05 my tire was broken, I went to pepboy to get a new one. The 2 store managers promised Id come at 2pm on September 6 so they could change the tires for me. It is terrible and distrust this shop. I arrived at 2pm Sep 06, they said they couldnt replace me, and there was no other brand like mine in the store. oh my god, cause I have to drive to Tennessee in the morning of Sep 07, they make me miserable with their way of doing things. I immediately called another store, they said yes and they would replace me with a new case within 2 hours. If there were 0 stars, I would give PepBoy 2653 Cobb pkwy SE, Smyrna. GA 30080. Bad service, bad management, bad items, dirty shop.

Great customer service! Staff was very polite, honest, and charismatic. Although they were behind schedule and i had my kids they were very patient and professional.

11/10 experience at this shop!! Very friendly customer service from everyone, but special shout out to Robert who was very good at explaining what was wrong with my vehicle and was quick to have it fixed. It was nice, as a young female to not be taken advantage of or talked over with a bunch of information that I don’t know anything about. I highly recommend visiting this location!!

Had a 9am appointment. Was told I was next and should be wrapped up by 10:30, latest 11:00am. Switch and bait. At 11:00, I called and was told more cars were in front of me. I asked for an estimate on when it would be competed... all Tap (front-desk worker) would say is not sure, then you have 45 minutes for an oil change. A 9:00 am appointment and couldnt get out of there until 12:00 at the earliest...terrible experience. Decided not to wait for over 3 hours for an oil change, considering I had one of the earliest appointments they offer. Wont go back.

Guy told me he was the new manager of the place. But he was the receptionist and the master mechanic. Pay that guy more or hire more help. This place is hectic AF. I called and made an appointment because every time I make an appointment with Pep Boys I seem to have to wait 2+ hours or I get there and they say they dont have an appt for me. This time was no different. He told me a balance is only guaranteed for 35 - 55 miles per hour, anything else youd have to get a balance on the car, which is more expensive and not many places do it. IDK how true this is. He also stated that his equipment only went up to 2012, so he couldnt read the sensors on my car. 2012 Pep Boys? Get some updated machines man! Also, my appt was for 11, car wasnt ready until 2. If Pep boys is still so busy (one of the few places that still are) why not hire more help? I dont understand. I bought my balance warranty before knowing these things because they always come so highly recommended. Let one company come through and do people right itll be over for yall. The customer service here (Pep Boys) as a whole, is terrible.

It’s too early on a Saturday morning to mess with me. I went in to get my blinker bulb fixed which is a relatively quick fix. Johnny didn’t even look at my car. He told me I needed to have a full work up done checking electrical boards, leaving my car with them for a few hours, and all other kinds of expensive foolishness. He said and I quote “ just changing your bulb won’t fix the problem”. I’m so sick of these repair shops trying to get over on people. Just because the service I needed wasn’t expensive or time consuming I wasn’t worth this shop’s time. I went right down the street and got my bulb changed and guess what Johnny IT FIXED THE PROBLEM!

Went there for tires today. Rob and all the other Mechanics were fantastic. It took less than a couple of hours and service was fantastic. Well definitely be coming back just because of the customer service. Thanks Rob.

Johnnie was excellent from customer service to my experience specially the fact that I did not have an appointment. Not only did he explain the difference between getting a conventional and synthetic oil change, he also helped me to locate the lock for my wheels as I was unaware I had them. His honesty and humor was something I never experienced.

These guys were easy to communicate with and made the process as simple as possible. I ordered tires directly from Amazon and they delivered to the facility and the facility communicated with me via email to arrange an install date. I was able to get my new tires installed and an alignment performed and didnt have to make any payments through the company as Amazon handled all of it.The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of 5 star was due to attention to detail. I can say every other tire place Ive ever been to (with exception of one place) has always failed to inflate the tires properly, which is troubling. They even aired up 2 tires that they werent replacing. All 4 tires had entirely different pressures and all were over-inflated. The car calls for 32 in the front and 30 in the rear, they had 38-49PSI and none matched so when I was driving, my car was pulling to the right very hard. After I realized they had over-inflated the tires I was able to simply release air from the tires to resolve the issue and the alignment on my car seems perfect again. Just watch out if getting new tires to check PSI when you leave and all should be well.

TERRIBLE LOCATION!!!! I scheduled an appointment last week for simple warranty work on my tire. I arrived to find out they employee never scheduled my appointment & they MIGHT get to it. I have to work so I’ll have to deal with my tire going flat. AWFUL LOCATION

I’ve followed Rob the newest manager of this location to several PepBoys stores because of his great management, knowledge & customer skills.I’ve had so many things done on several vehicles from tires, oil changes, struts, engine light diagnostics, break pads, rust issues, wheel alignments and so one. I have been pleased each time. With all of these services, I had one issue with the wheel alignment being off after having them aligned Rob took care of the issue immediately realigned the tires and made the issue right.I trust Rob, his mechanical skills and management leadership. This is my number reason for following him from store to store.No matter where Rob is within the PepBoys company his number one concern is what’s best for the consumer. He strives to take care of his people. For this reason, I AM A LIFETIME CUSTOMER where ever Rob is with PepBoys.

Went in for an oil change for an 8am appointment. 2 hours later I get a call saying I need a new battery, new tires, new brakes, and new rotors. The battery was purchased less than a year ago and the tires only a couple years old(and this past year hardly any driving due to COVID). I paid for the OVERPRICED oil change and immediately took my car to Autozone to have them check the battery. According to Autozone(where the battery was also still under the 3 year warranty) the battery was JUST FINE. Nothing wrong with it. Its completely insulting to have people in the car mechanics business try to take advantage of people they ASSUME know nothing about cars. On top of it all, it took THREE HOURS to get my car back for an oil change. I could have watched a youtube video on how to change the oil myself, driven to an auto supply store, purchased all the necessary items and done the change myself in the time it took for this place to complete it. And probably for less money too! I was literally the first person in the door and had an appointment. The only reason this place is still in business is because they over charge for services and take unknowing customers for a ride, telling them they need repairs and services they dont need. Do not waste your time or money here, but if you must at least get a second opinion before letting them complete any work.

Every time I come it is a great experience. Normally I only let the dealership touch my car but i did not feel like traveling that day and I took a chance since this location is not far from my home. I first started with brakes and that led to alignment, light bulbs, wipers, etc. I feel as a woman I can trust them. I’m glad I found a reliable mechanic close to home.

Horrible service! They just locked the door and shutdown the Open light on seeing me arrive. 2 days back when we went in at around 5.50pm they said they are busy and have a 6:00pm appointment. Initially, they said they would take us if the guy with the appointment didnt show up. But on waiting till 6:10pm and nobody showing up, they were asking us to come back the next day. Not sure if they really want to do business.. looks like they just want to sit back and relax watching the TV in the last 1 hour. Pep boys brand will be taking a hit because of this.

Just came in for my 10:30 appointment.Was told that there are 3 more appointments for 10:30 and only 2 mechanics on shift.Wait times would be longer than usual.What are the appointments for then?Pep boys appointment system should be improved.

I waited until my brakes went out to get them fixed! I was able to get service within a few hours after noticing the problem!Everyone was friendly and I’d recommend coming here! My car is like brand new again.Also keep in mind that auto shops are working on multiple cars at a time! I care about quality of service more than the time it takes to get the job done. If you are pressed for time then plan to drop your car off like I did. They will even help you get a Lyft/Uber if you need it!

Above and beyond! I came in for tire repair and accidentally locked my keys in the car. AAA came and unlocked the car, but it took nearly an hour and the mechanics kept me company while we waited, even helping the service technician get into the car once he finally arrived. They also had the best price for tires in the area! HIGHLY recommended!

My experience at this establishment cannot be faulted. Chief at the front desk always ensured that I got quick and efficient service. They listen and attend properly to what need done. As a lady driver I cannot say that I particularly trust mechanics but these guys I have no doubt wouldnt let me leave the premises in a car that could be a danger to me. I had an appointment for 8am. Arrived at 7:55. Waited until 8:10 to look around for someone. Tapped on back door and male came. Because of 3rd party payment. I had to wait because of tome difference. Called 3rd party myself at 9am. Put them on the phone with the male and po number was processed. Male stated that he had been trying to call 3rd party back....

Flat tire so I stopped here for repair. Stood in the lobby 15 min and nobody came in. 2 other people walked out too. Guys in the garage will look at you and then purposely ignore or look away. Great. Ill just limp to the next place 🤷‍♂️ good luck selling tires 😅

I had a terrible experience with this location. I waited close to 2 months for them to repair my blown head gasket & nobody touched it. There was little to no correspondence.

Johnny and the rest of the team were great in helping get my truck fixed. They found the best price for both of us. I am usually cautious in taking a vehicle to a mechanic fearing being ripped off. I actually called trusted mechanics from back home to see if I was getting a good price and they confirmed I was. The master mechanic even spoke with me and helped me understand some of the issues. If I have any problems in the future I will have no problem coming back here. Thank you to Johnny and the team! Some of the best service Ive ever had. Truck was done same day too!

First and last time visiting this pep boys locations (or any other). I dropped off my car for an oil change and shortly after about an hour a representative called me to advise that the rear brake pads needed to be changed. I agreed to have it changed by them because the rep quoted me a great price but once I got to the store I ended up paying $300 just for material and labor only to have TWO brake pads changed. This is complete robbery and I cannot understand how they have the audacity to charge someone this much. I will be taking further action about the pricing because I truly feel robbed and lied by the company. If you read this, please save yourself a headache and do not go here for any car service.

John, Jamar, and Triple D are the bomb. Ive been here twice now and they are true professionals. John took the time to explain what was going on with my car without pressuring me to buy anything. Triple D educated me about tire pressure and gave me a free mini gauge so I dont fill them up past the limit. These guys are good. Fast and efficient too. I will be taking all of my automotive business to Pep Boys from here on out.

I first visited this location last Saturday because my check engine light was on. When I got to Pep Boys the attendant sat me down and we talked about what was going on with my car and he actually walked me through what needed to be done and explained why each process was needed in terms that I could understand. I loved how helpful everyone was and they kept me updated during the day regarding my repair status. I will definitely return to this location, the guys here are great!!

It was my first time here and I didn’t really have much of a choice based on what my tires looked like.Honestly, if I had more time to look up other stores, I would have done my research.You might get the fourth tire free but with installation package and a wheel alignment costing $206, you bought the free tire and a normal alignment.

This is the most unethical business I’ve ever felt with. I have been bringing my car here for a year. Everything has been great until management change. I still brought my car here after they got rid some good employees seeking the same great service. I was wrong I had my car checked out for overheating a problem I was having before which this shopped helped me out with. This time I was giving a $900 bill for work “that needed to be done”. It didn’t seem right to me because the last time I came the worker told me I just need to replace a cord. so I towed the car to another shop and they told me nothing was wrong with my car, and I have been driving it ever since. Along with that I had body damage done to my car and the store manager Jonny Cower told me he wanted me to take the car to his cousin off south Cobb so he won’t loss his bonus this year and the claim won’t go against the store. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable about doing that so he told me to get a price for it so he could pay me with out putting a claim in. I got the price for the work I needed done, it was too high so he then started to deny it was the store fault. I then put a claim in with pep-boys and was denied after all this. Please don’t take this post lightly pep boys is bad business.

Got off work later than expected but seriously needed an oil change. Every other location was either closing or turned me down...except this one. They stayed open just for me and gave optimal customer service! S/O to y’all man, definitely will be coming back and recommending this location to my friends & family.

Easy to make an appointment, and service was done faster and cheaper than expected. I will definitely be going back to this location in the future. *just FYI though: Their waiting room is very small and a little awkward to be in if there are more than about 5 customers. So its best to go somewhere else while they get the work done.

I came to get a smoke test to pin point the gas cap leak, and their result was I need the entire emission system fixed.Not sure if the even ran it.

Not a pleasant experience this morning. I had an appointment this morning at 8 for simple oil change and no one is here at the front desk to check me in. Waited for 10 mins and still no one is here. Went back around to the shop and told someone that I had an appointment. He asked me to wait in the front lobby. Waited for another 10 mins and still no one is here. I just want to drop off my car and leave, but its almost 30 mins Im here and no one checked me in. The worst experience ever. I would never ever recommend this location to anyone again.

PepBoys was great. Theyd got me out of there quick and easy. The customer service was amazing and the environment was great. The mechanics knew what they were doing and were respectful to all customers. I will definitely be going back there.

I recently started using this location and decided that I would stick with them as I found John and the crew there to be superb in terms of their honesty, knowledge and friendliness. My car was over heating one day and I took it in thinking it was going to cost me an arm and a leg whatever it was. John took a look at it and found that a hose to the radiator had a kink. He straightened it out, filled me up on coolant and didnt charge me a dime. Had it been somewhere else and me being a woman I believe it would not have ended so well for me. I truly appreciate their honesty above all. On a previous visit John also helped me save on my oil change by letting me know that there was a coupon online. I have recommended this store to everyone I know.

This is the place to get your brakes...it use to be Just Brakes, then Pep Boys took over...and without John McCaleb this place would fail. I tried to speak up for him to the management of Pep Boys...but my call was never returned by his manager, Eric. John is honest, works his tail off and continues to keep a smile on his face. Nothing riles him...he just handles the issues with great professionalism - I have been very impressed and if I ever wanted to set up a small garage - John would run it. Pep Boys management needs to realize what an asset they have in John and his team...Thumbs up all the way around.

Tried to pay to get oil topped off and was told they only do 1 to 2 quarts when topping off.

I was so impressed with the staff and service that I received at this location. Its a small shop, and the guys that work there are very personable, I was comfortable and at ease. As a women I always fill a level of unease going to have work done on my truck.

Ordered tires through Amazon, was able to schedule installation and have them shipped to Pep Boys. They seemed a little disorganized in the process when i told them Amazon shipped them the tires, but were able to find them and get them installed. They were short handed and pretty busy so the install took a long time.

Darren was super friendly and helpful. He fixed a problem of my car in no time. Will definitely return for other service. Highly recommend!

I took my car to this Pepboys location admittedly by accident. After going to another shop that was unable to locate this issue with my suspension, I pulled into this shop and met Triple D... He got my car up in the air to see if he could locate the problem then rode in the car with me to make sure he knew exactly which noises I was concerned about. I was admittedly a little concerned about how much they found to be wrong with my suspension however, after having the work done I realize just how much was going on and am happy to have it fixed.The repair did unfortunately take a little longer than I had anticipated but when I discussed my concerns with Johnny and Triple D, they offered a few services I needed done free of charge to make up for the extra days in the shop and the rental car costs I had to pay which I felt was sufficient.Triple D is a funny, caring mechanic who I felt was honest with me about what my car needed and didnt need. His honesty, sense of humor, and concern for his customer will definitely bring me back to this shop in the future.

The customer service and genuine care was phenomenal. Johnny (manager) made sure I was driving safe!! And as a pregnant customer that meant everything!!! Thank you Johnny! They just got a loyal customer !!

Cant stress how great they are! Came in not expecting it to be what it really was in terms of diagnosis which caused me to have limited funds. These guys really worked with me and I cannot appreciate it enough.

We took my father in law car to this location. They took the car for couple hours and every time we call them, they said they are working on it, but i live really close and i see the car still in the same parking lot. Anyway, by the end of the day, the told us we have to pay around $1000 to fix the car. We said okay. Then the 2nd day the said we need something else and now we have to pay more than $1500 to get it fixed. We were trying to get a deal with them to do it for $1500 but they refused. They want more. And rudely, they said you can take it to ford dealer and they will charge you double. I didnt like the way the talked to us, so i did take it to ford dealer near there. We got the car fixed for $0 at ford dealer.End of the story, dont believe eveything they tell you. Go to different location and get more info about the issue. I am not going to this location or trust this place. By the way, this happened couple months ago, but i want to write the review since then. every time i pass by their shop, it remind me to write the review. Finally i did lol.

Johnny and team went above and beyond to make sure they got our car into and out of the shop on a busy saturday for oil change and brake service. They worked with us on the budget and helped us separate the necessary from the nice to haves. I will return here and I highly suggest you do too

I just started driving so of course I didn’t know much about cars. I brought my car here because it was making some funny noises and I asked for Maleke (the manager on duty that day) to look at it and he was able to tell me everything that was wrong and gave me more of an understanding of why my car was making that noise. Made an appointment for an oil change on a rental car and showed up to the location. After 15 minutes I was told that they couldnt perform the oil change because their computer wouldnt process the rental car. I was told then to drive to another location and get it done there.So I left that location and went down the street to another Pep Boys, once there I was told that this is a common occurrence and that the employee has to call in the order instead of using the computer system. I was also advised that they were booked for the morning and itd be a three hour wait.I called this location back and asked if they could call it in, and they said no. They didnt attempt to solve the problem or help me as a customer, they just told me to go somewhere else

Terrible service!!!! I only needed headlight and taillight installation, plus oil change. It took a while to get me pricing, so I called an Uber, thinking whatever the price was would be fair. That was around 9am. I went to work and missed a call about noon to finally give me pricing. I called back to find the work was done and I was being charged $300!!! The employee was sarcastic and asked if I wanted my blown bulbs put back in the car with a chuckle. (Call was recorded). I googled a place that charged a fraction of that ($40 bucks) on Bentley road. I called pep boys back and told him yes, take the bulbs out. This time, he pushed back telling me theyre already in there and how much they are. I reminded him that he did the work before confirming the cost with me and to honor his offer to replace my old bulbs back in my car. He did and I paid for my oil change (about $40) and left to NEVER return.

Very underwhelmed. I ordered tires days in advance and made an appointment. On the day I show up, they only have one tire. They could have called me and reschedule, that would have been ok. But no, I showed up and it was a waste of everybodys time. Not coming back.

Horrible service. I took my wife mini cooper to get oil change. there synthetic oil change was $90 and that was only for 6,000 miles. I know for a fact that synthetic oil goes for $10,000 miles and make me wonder why kind of oil they are using. I called the Mini Cooper dealership the following day and told me that there synthetic oil change for the Mini Coopers is $60 on the synthetic oil last for 10000 miles. Their website shows that theyre synthetic oil change was $69. I will say that this play is a rip off.

Make have WONDERFUL costumer service and was extremely helpful. My car battery died and he got a new battery with installation in no time. I recommend this place to anyone especially Maleke!

New to Georgia and needed an oil change. They gave me an appt first thing the next morning (which i showed up 10mins late to) and we’re still able to get me in and out very fast! Three days later i came back because of a nail in a tire, they plugged it and got me back on the road within 10mins! Unfortunately the same thing happened with a different tire the next day & you know who saved the day? The Pep Boys team!! Thank you to the store manager & Assistant Manager Maleka for the great customer service! I won’t be going anywhere else for my vehicle service needs

Aside from the dirty office and less than professional staff they tried to charge 80 something dollars for a oil change with synthetic oil. Trying to up charge $50 just because its synthetic oil is ridiculous at best and disingenuous at worst. I recommend doing some price checking before you having them touch your vehicle

Set an appointment for wheel alignment online. Showed up on time and was told there was no one in the shop who could do alignments and that they would have to schedule me for another day. Shouldnt they have called me or cancelled my appointment in advance? Poor customer service.

There is a mechanic I think his name is Jerry, he was very trustworthy, he has won my business

Beware this store is a fraud. I went into this place, and asked that my car be inspected. My car wasnt inspect at all. The guy came back to tell me my tire was about to come off, and I could get it fixed for over $600. I wasnt going to get it fixed that day, so Iwas charged $50.00. Now, Pep Boys offers free inspection on your car. The con artust put on my receipt that I had an oil change. Now, a conventional oil change gets you an oil change with tire rotation. Non of that work was never done. I cant remember this con artist, but he was a black male and bald. I am not labeling, but this is how I can best describe this person because I dont remeber his name. Poor customer service. Now, I have had a mechanic to check my tire. However, my tire isnt about to come off. Thank God. I dont want this to happen to anyone. Because this con artist couldnt get a sale then he made up something to charge me. However, non of the work was bever done. Beware of this ladies. A lot of times we dont have the knowledge that men do so we get vanboozled. I have contacted customer aervice on seceral occassions. However, noone reached out to me. If Pep Boys continue to handle business like this something bad will happen because the guy was comfortabke doing what he did. He has done it before. Beware!!!! They get no stars!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Jerry is a straight shooter, I appreciated his honesty, he did a great job, he will be the reason I return for service

I have come to this Pep Boys off and on for years. I will never come back after my experience with Rodney and his manager John. I dropped my car off a little after 5 pm, was told someone would look at my car the next morning at 7am. It is now 2pm. My car is still squealing and Ive already spent $138 to not fix the problem. Rodney and John have lied to me for almost 24 hours over a job that should have taken 30 minutes - changing a belt. John acts like showing me some random belt from the back is supposed to prove I needed a new one and driving my car around the parking lot counts to as a diagnostic test. Rodney couldnt even tell me how many belts my car has or find the labor in the computer. It took me calling 3 times and getting angry to have my 30 minute job miraculously be done 30 minutes later! Wow! Just because Im a woman, John thinks its okay to act like a belt takes 3 hours to change, but really what happened was they tried to put the wrong belt on. And were working on other peoples cars who showed up in the morning instead of mine which had sat overnight.

Speedy oil change and tire patch up. The guys there have great customer service. Thank you Jamara and John!
