I have picked up freight at different FedEx freight terminals on a weekly basis for the past six years. The FedEx freight terminal in Smyrna is by far the most poor ran terminal that I’ve seen. The people there are rude and non responsive. Multiple excuses as to why it takes an hour to an hour an a half to load a pallet of freight. Other terminals can have my freight loaded in 15-20 minutes. I would give them minus 5 stars if that were possible. Totally incompetent people at this terminal as well as people who will lie to you about freight shipments being available for dock pick up.

Security, Dock crew and staff were all great. They were quick and worked with me when making pickup of a couple pallets.The one star is for the driver who refused to make delivery and reported he was turned away. The dispatch office refused to send out the packets until the sending company paid more money. I would write that negative review in another place to differentiate between the two teams if I knew where.

I had to wait over two hours after being told multiple times it would take 10 minutes. Different excuse each time I was told it would be another 10 min. First reason: I came when staff were in a pre-shift meeting. 2nd reason: it was on a different trailer. 3rd reason: I cant remember. At that point, I just wanted to leave with my package and get back to work.

Very VERY slow, do not have anything sent here if you are on a tight schedule, spent over a hour and a half waiting on one pallet

Make sure you have your pro # before going to security. And be prepared to wait. Nice people.
