I have used Carter & Sons since I moved to this area 6 years ago, for a variety of HVAC and plumbing issues - I will never consider anyone else - they are extremely professional, skilled, and honest! Their prices are fair and you never need to worry that you are overcharged. Also, great customer service, and they will see you within a day or two, rather than a week or so at other providers.

Great service! Came by to check out a thermostat issue, and it ended up I have a low voltage issue that was causing the problem because it was wired wrong. Zach was here for 5 hours until 8:30, but got the work done for a great price. I highly recommend Carter and Sons.

Our AC wasnt working the day we moved in to our new home. I called on a Friday at 4:30 pm. Zac came to our home promptly on Monday afternoon. He diagnosed our issue quickly and explained it very well. Ryan came out the following afternoon and installed the part that was defective. He explained everything he did as he did it and was completely transparent about pricing. We will be customer of Carter and Sons for as long as we live in Atlanta!

We are in the process of growing our business and its been so hard to find an HVAC partner to start a maintenance schedule for our suite. Most of the other companies were slow to respond, didnt service commercial units, or flat out hasnt followed back up to our appointment requests. Carter & Sons were different. I was able to speak to someone immediately when I inquired and despite having a packed schedule, had someone come out within a week of us calling. Zac, our service tech, has visited us twice now due to our tight client schedule and was gracious, professional, and efficient every time. Best hvac company! We have been using them for 20 years, recently had our units replaced and got quotes from several companies, they beat them all by almost $1000!! Carter & Sons came and had a look and fixed it for only $30! They are honestand dont upcharge you, tell you exactly what you need and the best way to get it.

Our technician Ryan was very professional and came prepared with the appropriate PPE on (mask, boot covers, gloves, etc.) He performed the the service to our inside and inside units and was able to do so without much involvement/direction. He was very professional and friendly (even let our dog jump on him) He carefully took a look at all options and called other experts in his office for diagnosis. After a bad diagnostic appointment with another provider, I called Carter and Sons for a second opinion. The technician explained his recommended course of action and didnt pressure me to invest several thousands of dollars on the spot like the other company did. I was much more comfortable with their approach and I genuinely believe they are in the business of happy long-term customers and a strong referral network.

David came out to give us an estimate in a timely manner. It was excellently priced and the worked was done professionally and quickly. A week later, our AC started acting up but it was an issue that had nothing to do with their work. David fixed the problem the next day for free and was amazing to work with.

Carters and Sons created a Zoning System with our current HVAC unit, so our upstairs would be better regulated. They also replaced damaged duct work. Nathan and Josh were great. They arrived on time and worked all day to get the job done. They were polite and did a great job.

Carter and sons replaced our HVAC system last week. They went above and beyond our expectations. Their sales rep, David, did a great job laying out all of the options and did not try to sell a higher priced unit than we needed. He did a follow up visit after the install to insure that everything was installed correctly. He stayed extra to look at our hot water heater that was acting up to try and fix it. The lead installer, Nathan, was very professional and did a great job. He stayed for 12 hours in the first day if the install to make sure we werent without AC for the weekend. I couldnt more highly recommend Carter and Sons for HVAC services.

I used Carter & Sons a few years ago to install a new furnace. When my AC unit went out over the weekend I knew who to call. The repairman was early and he was able to find the problem within seconds! It was as simple as a switch that had been turned off. He didnt stop there though. He pointed out that the unit was too close to a wall and therefore wasnt working as efficiently as it should be. He moved it for me. It took 5 minutes and just the charge of a diagnostic. Im so glad I called Carter and Sons!

I moved into my new house, built in 1996 ac and furnace original to the house. The house had an add on but no upgrade to the ac unit. David came out to the house very professional did a load calculation for heat load on the house. Sent me the quote with 4 options based on budget. The crew came out and replaced furnace and ac and built a new foundation for the new unit that looks incredible. They also identified issues with the current ducting that was a potential hazard and brought it up to code. I fully recommend them based off of their quality product.

Wonderful experience! Every person my husband and I came in contact with was honest and kind. The staff went above and beyond while installing our air handler. Even though I am a loyal customer of Carter & Sons, I was encouraged by David N. To compare their quote with two other competitors. I chose a small firm and the other was a big one that advertises on radio and TV. Carter & Sons price was the lowest of the three. David was very patient with me during the bidding cycle and never pressured me to make a decision. Nate W. and his team installed the unit in the tiny crawlspace at my house. I purchased a new home in the last year and all the HVAC equipment was ancient, in desperate need of replacing. So, I started getting estimates with plans to wait out the summer and replace it in the off season, but fate found such a proposition too tempting to let pass. Going into the month of July, peak season for the HVAC service industry, with no air-conditioning and no desire to waste money repairing the old equipment, I prepared for the worst on high costs and long install wait times. It turns out that fear was unwarranted as David not only gave me a great deal on some high efficiency Carrier systems, but he squeezed the install into the schedule on short notice. Everyone on the installation crew was courteous and knowledgeable, and by working late hours and performing small miracles they managed to get my house air-conditioned on the evening of July 3rd, just in time for a long holiday weekend with scorching temperatures and high humidity. They returned the following week to finish up the job, and so far, Im impressed with the quality of their work, the attention to detail, and all the little extra things that are the hallmark of superior customer service. Special thanks to Nathan for taking the time to answer all my questions about how everything works and for staying until nearly midnight some nights to get the job done.

Excellent Service and Response Time!

We have really appreciated the amazing service we get from John and his team over the years. They have installed one new system for us and updated our older system as well and we love the prompt, thorough and professional work they always provide.

John Carter came to our home to fix our AC problem. He did an excellent job. He checked different parts of AC to see where the problem was and then determined that the condensate pump was not working and also that there was a possible blockage in pipes connected to it. He replaced the pump immediately and cleared the pipes and the problem was solved. He patiently answered all my questions. He even checked the second AC unit to make sure it was working ok.I would hire “Charter and Sons” again if there is an HVAC problem. I would recommend them to my family and friends also.
