If you want a truly honest, knowledgeable Air Care Company choose Allens. Family owned...join their family. Stay away from the larger advertising HVAC Companies. Especially Lee Company !! The larger companies job is to bad mouth your old unit and try to sell you a new system.....plain and simple. Allens Air Care concern is to keep your current system running as long as possible and longer.
When other companies were too busy to send out a tech, Allens was able to come the same day and fix our AC issue. They are now our go to HVAC company. The tech was very professional and figured out our issue quickly and solved it quickly as well. Very reasonable price as well.
Great job, and even better information on how to improve my existing system. The tech made some minor adjustments and the system is already running more efficiently.
I love this HVAC company. The technicians are kind and knowledgeable. Problems get taken care of the same day most the time. The prices arent too high. They never sell you anything you dont need. I will never use another company.
Allen’s Air installed our system in 2007 and has been servicing it since. They have always responded promptly, especially in seasonal highs and lows. A couple of times, when the issue was illusive and they’ve had to return a second time, they worked until the problem was resolved, and then usually waived the return service charge. Each of the technicians have been courteous, professional, informative and personable. We have complete confidence in this company. Additionally, my parents used Allen’s Air for 10 years until they sold their home and were always satisfied with their work. We would recommend this company with full confidence.
Gentleman was very knowledgeable and explained the problem. Wore his mask. I appreciated him
Nice rep and technician.
The repair guy Craig came so fast after calling the company on a extremely hot day. He looked at the AC and right away he knew what the problem was and repaired it right away. It was faster than going through a fast food drive-thur. Thanks to the company having a live body answering the phone the AC repaired before it got hot in the house. I received ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service.
Allen’s Air Care did an exceptional job with my heating and air unit. They were prompt and worked very quickly but effectively at my house. All of the workers were very nice and kept me updated on everything. I worked specifically with Steven, and he was very personable and willing to answer any questions I had in a very timely manner. I would 15/10 recommend their services to anyone!
Ive been using this company for roughly a decade. They left yesterday saying my AC was fixed, but it never cooled down, came back today and said a part needed to be replaced. The tech admitted removing that part to clean it the day before, but a day later it didnt work. I called support and apparently saying the tech may have screwed up cleaning the part, that translates to this genius that Im saying they sabotaged my A/C. Your service manager is a moron.
I have been using Allen’s Air Care since 2005. These guys are great. Would highly recommend them for any of your heating and cooling needs. Recently when it got warmer, I made the transition of switching from heat to air, (on a Thursday) and noticed my house wasn’t cooling. Called Allen’s first thing Friday morning and a technician was at my house by 9 am. He gave me the bad news my compressor was grounded and it was time for a new unit. By that evening Steven showed up, gave us some options on a great American Standard product. And by the following Tuesday my brand new unit was installed. I didn’t even shop around (even though I had friends who had a “guy”) because the level of service that Allen’s Air Care has provided me over the years, I didn’t hesitate to keep my business with them. The entire team is awesome, very professional and genuinely cares about your comfort. Highly recommend reaching out to Steven for any of your home comfort needs.
I highly recommend Allen’s Air. I have been remodeling an older home. The guys at Allen’s Air were responsive and found solutions that were affordable and worked great. They were on site at the scheduled times and cleaned up before leaving. They were respectful of my home. I continue to have a great experience.
We recently had to replace our heating & air unit, and the level of care and openness from Allen’s team was amazing. We looked at alternative options, but chose to stay with Allen’s due to their level of professionalism and the deal. They even checked in on us and provide space heaters while my family was without a working unit for the weekend.
Professional company that makes it easy to do business with.We had a zone system (installed by the builder) servicing 2 floors that we fought with for 10 years before it bit the dust. Turns out it was too small for the square footage plus wasn’t installed correctly. Allen’s came in and gave me a quote to replace the zone system and a quote for 2 independent units. We chose to go with 2 units and these units are amazing. Both are electric, but we have not had any issues through an entire year of use.The guys on the sales side and installation side were professional/courteous. Would recommend to anyone.
Allens Air Care did a great job with the installation of our HVAC unit. Crew was very professional and willing to answer all my questions. Replacing the unit really made a big difference with our utility bills. Highly recommend!
We have used Allens Air Care for years now and have always been pleased with their services. They are always quick to respond to the problem, find the best way to fix it and are very thorough with their work. Would highly recommend them to anyone in need! They are honest and trustworthy people.
My ac went during the weekend, so I had Allens Air Care out to take a look at it. They initially diagnosed the problem saying that my coolant was low and added 3lbs. After 12hrs it was out again. So I had them come out to take a look. This time they said I had a leak in my evaporator coil and would need to be replaced. I was fine with that till they told me it would cost $2600 to replace the part. He said he would email me all the info on what was needed for the replacement process and to call them in the morning to let them know if I wanted them to replace it. I was never able to open the email. Now my house is only 5 yrs old and I know it should not cost that much to fix it, so I got another ac service to take a look at it, Hiller. After he tested the unit and verified that it was my evaporator coil he let me know on the spot how much it would cost plus labor which was around $1200. It still may be a lot but, but its a lot better than $2600. I felt as if he they thought I was naive to what was going on, so they threw that number out to see if Id bite. I almost did cause it was pretty hot and my wife and child was suffering too, but Im glad I got someone else to take a look first.
Allens Air Care was recommended to me after I had gotten a quote fromanother company I had been using for several years, which I believed to be very high and included new ducting when the salesman didnt even look at my existing ducting. Steven came out and was very professional and looked over everything. I was able to upgrade my HVAC system and they were able to use the ducting I had. Their crew arrived on a Friday afternoon and were done in a couple of hours! They even had to get a custom hood made and that was done the following Tuesday. They did an excellent job and I will be using them from now on. Thank you Mike and to your whole crew!
Initially contacted this company to fix a heating unit. Unit didn’t get fixed (yet they still charged a service fee) the first time so called a second time. Few days later the same problem arose called them again statin I still had the same problem (charged yet another service fee) so they continued to blame the nest thermostat say it was the problem. $300, 2 service fees, and a brand new thermostat later I’m still experiencing the same problem and all mike wants to do is point fingers and play the blame game instead of stand behind the company’s work. You could say I was a tad irritated. When it comes down to it I don’t recommend this servicer and when the time comes to replace my almost 20year old unit in the spring they won’t be getting the work.
Called Allens on 9/13/2017.. They came out the next day to fix a breaker problem for the central heat and air unit.. The gentleman was very polite and well mannered.. He explained what the problem was in great informed details.. Finally found a reputable service that I will use for here on..
Great work and timely response.Local & family owned business.
Ive not seen such professionalism or integrity since I retired from the Marine Corps. Extremely impressed with this outfit, and will definitely call on them anytime I need HVAC service.
Fast, knowledge service, couldnt recommend more.
Good company. Ive had them do annual service from time to time with no complaints. I bought a new American Standard HVAC from them, about 11/2 years ago. They gave me information I needed for getting an energy credit and ten year warranty. Another brand was less money, but American Standard has really good product. The price was much less than the same unit through TMC. Today, I had the first paid service. The rep called when he was about 30 minutes out. He did a thorough job and is a good guy. Im a happy customer.
I called in to have some AC service done after hours. The tech called me back relatively quickly and I was pleased with that. What I was not pleased with was their pricing. Their diagnostic fee alone was $89 despite the fact that I already knew what was wrong. Other companies were willing to waive the fee and just charge the system. The cost of the R-22 refrigerant was $125/lb. There is no reason it should be that high. The other AC places Ive called are charging between $55-65/lb for it.Sure, I could have gotten the work done tonight, but for the $260+ Ill save by waiting till tomorrow, Im going to take a cool shower and wait.
I cant say enough about Allens Air Care. If I could give 10 stars I would. Very polite, came out on a Rainy Sunday morning to get my HVAC unit up and running . I would recommend them
Weve used Allens for years. At two separate homes weve had heating units fail and theyve been quick and easy to work with.
I received a call about scheduling my fall service. I called back to ask some specific questions before I was going to set up my appointment, specifically - will they service my tank-less water heater. I was told that they normally perform that in the spring, but as I explained to the woman on the phone, it wasnt serviced in the spring and I didnt want to let it go two years without servicing. I asked if they would clean it as part of my fall service and was told they would; so I set up the appointment and they told me what the cost would be for the service. I even called back, to schedule cleaning of my garage unit, which was an additional charge. Today they showed up and cleaned my units but never touched the water heater, when I called them about it they said that my conversation about the water heater never happened, but that they would come back and clean it for an additional charge. Whatever happened to doing the work requested for the price quoted???
Thank you Allens Air Care for saving the day. Tire Worlds air went out this morning and was not a good way to start the day on a hot day! Luckily I knew just who to call!!!!! Was out in a couple of hours and back to ice cold.!!! So a big thank you to Allens Air Care for fast friendly service you can trust!
This company has done good with us
Wonderful air care. Knowledgeable staff.
If there was a rating less than 1 star (like negative 50) that would be my recomendation. So far they have had to come to repair / fix malfuntions in the system several times and they have yet come prepared to actually do anything other than to confirm theres an issue and say theyll have to send another crew to actually address the issue. they were contacted seven days ago and told that the air was no longer coming from one of the vents and that our inspection indicated that the duct work had come detached from the trunk line as it was still attached at the vent. 3 1/2 days later they send a service tech who checks and confirms that it had indeed come loose at the trunk line and they would have to send someone else out to make the repair because he didnt have the necessary ducting because they didnt know what size it would be... theyre the ones who installed it to begin with!! This is after having been out on at least three prior occassions for various other repairs but NEVER having the parts, equipment or right item to actually make the repair. So now with the latest breakdown its been 7 days and the problem still hasnt been fixed, not to mention we were told it would cost $600.00 to replace a duct run of about 8 feet. We will no longer deal with this company nor recommend them to anyone.
Honest, trustworthy, professional.
