Great company! Very old A/C broke down on a Friday night. Called Elite Saturday morning and Juan came over a few hours later to give an estimate on a new unit. They installed Monday morning - my new A/C was fully installed before any of the other companies I contacted had even called me back. Juan, Moose, Bobby, and Jeremy were all great to work with. They were all very nice and professional. Highly recommend!

My a/c stopped working over the busy holiday weekend. Elite was very responsive and sent Jeromy over shortly after my call. He was extremely professional, knew his stuff, and determined the issue of my a/c system. Within a short time, he had repaired the system - and at a very reasonable cost. Juan and the Elite team were great. I had a terrible experience with another HVAC company (a very large, seemingly reputable Chicago company) that left me with a broken AC and no interest in helping me fix the issue that they said they could fix. A friend recommended Juan and Elite and he responded immediately and had the issue resolved in less than 48 hours for less than half what the other company quoted me. I feel confident saying that I will call Elite HVAC going forward and will never give another penny of my money to that other company.

The owner is either not as competent as the other techs, or not honest. On our second service call to repair a malfunctioning new AC that they installed less than a year earlier, he said the Nest thermostat was stealing power from the AC causing the compressor to overheat and die and we had to wait 4 days for a replacement compressor. This explanation made no sense and another HVAC tech who happened to be next door, and our contractor who was also at the house said thats not even possible. The repair was done by another tech who luckily double checked the owners diagnosis and determined the compressor was fine, there was no issue with the thermostat, but a refrigerant leak from a manufacturer defect. It could have been repaired on the first day instead of waiting 4 days. So long story short when dealing with this company, get a second opinion if the owner is the one talking to you.

Technician was on time, professional and did his job fast. He was very honest in providing feedback and recommendations, and did not try to up sell me for services I did not need. The price of the maintenance call was also very reasonable. I would use this company again.

Jeremy came to do the annual tune up and check of our two AC units. One of them was not working properly and it was a simple fix that did not cost us anything. He checked everything out and explained everything to us in detail. Thorough and honest service.

Our water heater working right before we left on vacation. The pilot light would not stay lit and it looked like we had a bad electronic gas valve control. I was looking for a reputable company that was responsive as we needed hot water quickly and I’d had bad experiences with other companies that charge for the visit, attempt to upswell a full unit replacement, or grossly overcharge for a simple repair. Elite was just the opposite. They responded to my request for an estimate within an hour, the estimate was for the repair we needed, and the estimate was a flat fee that was very reasonable given the cost of the parts alone. They came out, am initial unit didn’t work so they replaced it right away, and that was it! Everything was fixed, and there were no surprises on the bill - just the flat fee as promised. I would definitely use them again.

Our AC from 1987 finally died just as the weather was getting hot. Every place was telling us they could not install for 1.5 weeks. Juan’s team came to install in two days. Not only that but we decided our unit was too small & he replaced it in another 2 days. Juan was incredibly easy to reach & his whole team was kind and east to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Both my AC and furnace were from 1996 and well overdue for replacements. Juan responded to my telephone number without me even leaving a message on a Wednesday evening call after hours. He sent Josh out on Friday to work on one of our A/C units which was extremely low on refrigerant. Also used a dye kit to show where the leak was and possibly seal the leak if small. So far, air conditioner is working. We’ll see if more needs to be done. I like working with a small company over one of the larger ones. Price seems to be better on expensive refrigerant, too.

The first service itself was fine. Came on time. Suggested a follow up and gave me a price. When I called for an appointment, I was given double the price. When I brought this up, I was told I would get a call back by someone called Juan and I never got the call back. I wont be doing business with them again. Its obvious they dont really care about their customers. And on top of that, they kept on emailing me non-stop to recommend them to other customers.Thats manipulative and the reason I am doing this. I I was pleasantly surprised he came out within an hour and he knew what it was -he had a thermostat with him he change the thermostat -showed me how to work it -even adjusted it for me.He didn’t overcharge me or tried to inflate the charges- so I really like the service and honesty- I will be using them again and I will be recommending them to my coworkers and family members as well. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the service all around from this company. Our normal oh service told us our 10 year old unit was done and the compressor was gone and there was nothing they could do to get us air conditioning before my wife had a party the next day. Needless to stay a week later we still did not have a new air-conditioning unit installed from my now forElite HVAC came through for me big time, like you would not believe. I asked them if they want a quote on a new unit.They said sure can I get some over first thing tomorrow. Knowing how busy things were in HVAC right now I said no problem see you then. About an hour later I got a callback asked me to come around noon They had a cancellation. The technician one asked what was the matter with my unit I told him what the other company had said to me. He looked it over and said can I get some parts and give it a shot to repair the compressor, of course.It turns out I didn’t need a new air-conditioning unit after all, or how long this will last but indications are fine that the repair Juan made on the compressor.Bottom line Elite HVAC is honest and has great integrity good price for the service they perform and I would use them again in a heartbeat goodbye to my overpriced former vendor.

We have used Elite HVACS since our furnace died the day we left town for a vacation in 2019. Juan was our technician and was extremely helpful and responsive by phone and text throughout as we dealt with that while being out of state. Every technician they have sent has been on time, personable, and proactively helpful.

We were in a bit of an emergency as our old furnace was in need of major repair or replacement, during the Chicago extreme cold! We had Elite come by and give us an estimate in the morning and provide some recommendations on furnace brands and models, and they were able to install it later that day (big bonus). The Elite team was in and out, very professional, and walked us through the new furnace and what they did during the installation process. We went with a higher efficiency model that was a bit more expensive, but have been extremely happy with the results thus far.

Our technician, Jermery was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and provided his honest insight. He didn’t try to sell something unnecessary. The service was quick and much appreciated.

Our condo association hired Elite to clean and service our buildings boiler/furnace. They did a fantastic job. Professional, courteous, clean, and on time.

Work on our place produced a lot of dust, which clogged the air filter and then put a strain on the blower motor. I was concerned that it needed immediate attention. Elite HVACS came promptly, checked everything, and then advised me to call them again after all work was complete to save myself the expense of having them do maintenance twice. Had Elite come out and do a yearly maintenance. Guy showed up and was very professional. He explained everything he was doing to me and was very patient with my many questions. Cleaned and inspected the furnace. Let me know the status of my system and what to keep a lookout for. Also informed me that smoke & CO2 detectors only last 5-10 years which I did not know and am grateful he told me.

Josh and Juan were great today. I had my two furnaces and humidifiers serviced, and two tankless hot water heaters. One had been giving me trouble, and them, but after contacting the manufacturer they were able to find a solution. They were so diligent about finding the culprit of the problem. You want to work with people like Juan from Elite. Where do I start? These guys are amazing. I’ve worked with Juan at two different properties. I moved into a condo that needed a new AC and furnace combo. We needed a crane to get it there and they were able to find one to get it installed. They were even able to get it installed on a Saturday in the middle of summer. Best yet, their turn around was fast. We called them out late on a Thursday, and it was installed on a Saturday.They installed my thermostats when I moved into my new house when they checked out our system.On the Fourth of July, my AC wasn’t working on my first floor. So while watching fireworks, I went online and got an appointment for the first thing Monday morning. Juan came out and fixed it in about a half an hour. He identified the problem, knew what to do, and got it done.As usual he was professional but he always was concerned for social distancing and he wore all protective clothing to make me the customer feel comfortable.We need good companies like Elite because there will be a time when your air or heat will go out. Elite treats you well, they know what they are doing, and they are a great price. I’m 36 years old, and I’ll be using Elite from here on out.Work with this company. You won’t be disappointed. I originally had them come out for the annual service and found out our AC unit was on its last legs. Something I already assumed as it was already over 10 years old, and I knew the builder had installed an undersized unit.What I also didnt know was that our furnace was also undersized. They let me know that it would be hard finding parts for some things if something failed, and nearly impossible to get some others parts.We ended up going for a new AC/Furnace combo. We werent pressured or even told to get new units like some other installers. We knew it was time to replace them with hotter summers and colder winters becoming more frequent and we are lucky we did.We had to wait a week as the furnace we needed wasnt in stock, but during that week our AC unit died during one of the 90+ days. I called and Juan came out right away and fixed it for us while we waited for the new unit to be installed.The new units are amazing, and we couldnt be happier. Everyone we met from Elite HVACS was very nice and professional, even when my 2 year old daughter tried introducing every doll she had to them.

Your technician, Josh, came out today to assess the problem with our mini split unit. Josh is not the first tech weve had out here for that purpose, and frankly we now regret we didnt call Elite sooner. Whereas the prior service calls resulted in basically nothing but disappointment, Josh refused to give up even when faced with an absence of tech support from the manufacturer and a difficult to diagnose problem. He stayed at it even when he thought he may have reached a dead end. And...he thinks (fingers crossed) he has found the problem and is going to search for the necessary part. We were very impressed. Kudos to Josh!

Juan came out for a service call on our heating system in the evening as he promised. He diagnosed the problem professionally and got the system working immediately. He then replaced the needed part which had to be special ordered very soon thereafter. We had some trials and tribulations through the process of installing new heating and air conditioning including both a gas leak and a refrigerant leak. This was really unfortunate and stressful for us as homeowners. To their credit, Juan and his team exhibited great customer service and did everything they could to resolve the issue, no matter how salty we got. Kudos to Josh for finally resolving the issues with our AC. Hopefully all is well now!

Our AC stopped working at our Thai and Sushi restaurant on a day that had a temp of 100 degrees. I called Elite since I also use them for my HVAC service for my home. Juan sent Josh to diagnose the problem on the same day. It turned out that the condenser fan motor and blade had to be replaced. They were professional and helpful! I would recommend them!

I assumed the technician would be late thinking there must be a lot of emergency calls given the heatwave. Josh arrived within the given window and immediately put on personal protective equipment. Throughout the visit he explained to me what he was doing. What particularly impressed me was that he pointed out a few things overlooked by previous companies yet did not pressure me at all to have them corrected. He explained the reasons changes could be considered but at no time tried to get me to commit to making the changes. I have the maintainance contract and it was definitely worth purchasing. The contacts I have had with Juan so far have been responded to in a very timely and professional manner. I plan to stick with Elite as long as possible.

Technician was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Was able to quickly diagnose the problem and present the solution. Will be using them in the future for my HVAC needs.

I had them out to repair a unit in my coach house. The heating element had burned out and they tried to tell me it was not longer made and I needed to buy a new unit for $1700 (which retails at $850). So I did my own research and found and purchased the heating element for $90 and found another company to come out ask do the repair for $200. This is everything homeowners hate about hiring “professional” services.

We recently purchased a house and the inspector noted 2 things having to do with the heating system and vents that he said were issues and that we wanted looked at. Setting up an appointment was easy, even with the holiday (Juan, our technician came out on New Years Eve), we got notifications when he was on the way, and he showed up shortly after that. He looked at the two noted problems and told us that, while it could be fixed, it was perfectly safe and normal. We highly appreciated the honestly and frankness and are planning on using them again if the need arises.

UPDATED REVIEW: The owner called me and explained I had been charged incorrectly and that I will be receiving a refund in about 5 days. I appreciate his immediate attention to the matter.------------------------------------------------------------------------------The technician was polite and explained everything. However, he charged me $200 for a thermocoupler apart from the annual maintenance fee of $130. I told him Ive had the thermocoupler replaced before and know it doesnt cost that much and he reduced it to $130 and said he couldnt do anything about it because he was just the technician. I looked the part up on Amazon and the most expensive one i found was for $11. Since I currently have alot going on and dont have time to search for a new estimate, i agreed to the repair and the fees. However, I will never use them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone based on this price gouging.

Jeremy arrived early (!) for his appointment after first calling. He was very professional and personal. Diagnosed and made temporary repair in a few minutes. Only problem is he didnt have necessary part to make a permanent repair. He will have to come back in a couple of days when they get the part.
