Great experience, awesome from start to finish. Guides were very knowledgeable and great time was had by all. Sitka is beautiful and fly fishing with Tad and Bailey should be a must stop on your vacation.

We had the most wonderful fishing experience with Tad! We went on a salt water trip and had just an amazing time. We both caught our limit of king salmon and rockfish in a 1/2 day trip. He is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and takes care of absolutely everything. I cant recommend him highly enough! If you are going to Sitka, fishing with Tad is a must!

Best day ever! Absolute highlight of our Alaskan adventure!We booked our trip about a month before our cruise. Tad had kept in touch with us through emails prior to our visit and had our gear ready for us the morning we arrived. He met us on the docks and our adventure began. Took a short ride through the peaceful waters of Sitka, where he dropped us off in the shallow rivers between the breathtaking mountains. My husband nor I had ever been Fly Fishing, but Tad made it super easy to catch on ( not that I am an expert now or ever will be). We caught several Salmon each and just had the best time. We also watched pools of Salmon spawning as well, which was fascinating!I would highly recommend Flyfishingsitka because of Tads personal experience and his service. We are looking forward to taking our boys next year and fish with him again!

Had an amazing day Flyfishing with Tad!!We got into a bunch of pinks early on and then started sight fishing for silvers. Landed a few 10 and 12 lb fish that were fresh from the ocean!! Great fishing, great scenery and a superb fishing guide. Highly Recommend👍🏻👍🏻

Our cruise ship had a scheduled stop in Sitka, so I booked a 1/2 day fishing trip with Classic Casting Adventures.You wont be disappointed!! The trip exceeded our expectations.

Tad was a top notch guide. We hired him for a 1/2 day of steelhead fishing in early May. He was awaiting our arrival at a predetermined location with all the gear we needed. Once we got our waders fitted, we were on our way in no time. He did an excellent job filling us in on what to expect and tactics for us during a short 20min boat ride. I am an experienced flyfisher but have never fished for steelhead. My daughter (20y/o) had never fished before. To say she is hooked now would be an understatement.Tad coached us all along the way and spent extra time with my daughter to ensure she got the hang of things. He was always nearby and ready with another back-up rod for a quick swap if we needed a fly change or had a snag. Basically he kept us fishing without missing a beat.He put us on fish, coached us to success and we had great action the entire time. My expectations of landing a steelhead were low, but he helped me achieve that dream with some fish of a lifetime for myself and my daughter. Just seeing my daughter catch one was worth it all.Tad rented us some gear for the remainder of our stay and filled us in on areas in and around Sitka that we could access and fish on our own. We had success from those tips as well. Tad is a great guy and we look forward to returning to Sitka again someday and fishing with him again.
