Geek squad takes advantage of older folks who have no idea how technology works, and overcharges them for simple tasks. Stay away!

I thought my sound system was going to be installed professionally at best buy but this wasn’t the case. I spent $100 plus another $80 on useless stuff i didnt need. Went home with no issues then when i turned on my car again and reversed out of my driveway my whole system was messed up and my stereo almost blew my speakers. I then (without any experience) recabeled my system and got it to work. Huge waste of time and unprofessional. Im very dissatisfied with this service.

Why is it you cant get anyone to answer a phone when calling the Sioux City store? Ive been waiting for almost 30 minutes and still cant get to a live body. This is extremely poor customer service.

I had called the other day to see if my tv can be fixed and without any hesitation the guy said it’s not worth it and that’ll it cost about the same to buy a new one if I got it fixed. Long story short I went somewhere else and they fixed it for $250. I was not about to throw away $1800 tv without having another opinion. Turns out that the screen needed to be replaced since my kids threw a nerf bullet at it and it looked “cracked”.

Very professional and helpful. I will definitely use them again if I need to. My computer was fixed before expected.

Start to finish Geek Squad was excellent in solving our issue with our laptop.

Knowledgeable and were able to get things accomplished when it came down to it.

DONT EVER GO TO GEEK SQUAD, EVER!!!!!! They give the worst customer service to anyone who has problems with their computers, and theyre all UNFRIENDLY PEOPLE. They dont care if theyre fixing peoples computers properly or not, they just want money from the customers......like $300, THAT IS A RIP-OFF!!!!!!If you want your computer fixed whether if it has a simple problem or how much there is to fix, go to places like Advanced Computers or Dakota PC Warehouse that would charge customers a whole lot less than Geek Squad.
