Ive been to Sound Hearing for the past 2 years and Jen gave me two week trial periods (or more time if I needed it). I just wasnt convinced that I needed hearing aids yet. Jennifer was so helpful today. I went in because another audiologists had said that my 93 year old aunt’s hearing aid needed a $350 repair because it was damaged. We went to Sound Hearing because they repair in house. It turned the hearing aid wasn’t damaged it just needed a good cleaning by someone who knew what they were doing and it only cost $50 instead of $350. Jennifer was so helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us some great advice on how to proceed in the future. I will definitely be recommending her to everyone I know.

Jennifer and Judy are a great team! Jennifer will give you the expertise, personal attention, and information to choose the best hearing aid AND also give you the best follow up care. I have used aids for 35 years, and she is the best overall specialist I have ever had. I highly recommend her services. Judy is always there with a friendly face and ready to clean your hearing aids and answer your questions. THey are truly there for their customers.

Got my hearing aids a couple of years ago. They seemed a little off and Jennifer spent the time to really get them adjusted well and it has really improved my experience.

I originally had a nearby audiologist test my hearing, but was not happy with the depressing, uninformative, negative vibes of that office, so I did a little research into the most highly rated site to get my hearing aids, and I found Sound Hearing Care and Jennifer. The difference was like night and day! The friendly, patient, knowledgeable receptionist set the tone for a relaxed, open, upbeat experience, and Jennifer took considerable time to answer questions, present alternatives, and fit me with trial aids. Her good humor and expertise was a far cry from my experience with the audiologist near my home. I would highly recommend Jennifer and Sound Hearing Care to everyone.

My husband, David, was helped very much when Jennifer came to our Senior Retirement Center. Cleaning his hearing aids was most beneficial plus raising the level needed for his aids. I first met Jennifer at a gun show in Greenville. She did a test there and stated that my left ear hearing high pitch is totally gone. I have not heard so many sounds in 35 years. We went to her the next week to see about getting some hearing aids. She worked so hard at getting me to where I could hear. With so much damage to my left ear with her knowledge and programming she got it so that I can hear with this ear. She moved the pitches around so that I can now hear sounds that I havent heard in years. I can even understand words of songs now. She is a miracle worker at hearing aide programming. She worked hard for 3 visits to get me the best hearing I have had in over 40 years.I drove 3 hours one way to go see her and it was well worth every mile I drove. I can hear so many things that I have missed over the years.She was so knowledgeable and diligent getting me to where I can now understand what people say, listen to music and understand the words, even birds singing. I know it will help me with hunting being able to hear all the natural sounds in the woods.

This is easily the best hearing center that I have worked with, in my lifetime. Jennifer is informative regarding the hearing situation, potential options--with benefits or negatives with each -in a way that is easy to understand. Her explanations for various sound companies is helpful in making the decision for your device an easy one. This was a great experience.Its been about 18 months since I wrote this regarding that experience. I have just gone back for a follow up. Nothing changes what I reported the first time. The visit was informative, helpful and intended to fine tune my devices for the subtle changes that life makes, as you age. My questions were answered in an easy to understand way. Some options were suggested, due to equipment updates. One of those, I purchased. It made an obvious difference in performance. The atmosphere is really relaxed. I can tell that everyone is treated in the same way, by the smiles on peoples faces as they leave, or when they arrive to a cheerful greeting. Nothing in life beats service and kindness, and these guys have cornered the market. It speaks well for Sound Hearing. I never thought Id ever look forward to having my ears checked, but they put a wonderful spin on the process.7/2/2020When providing a review, its usually something of a fancy need that you write about. Hearing aids are not one of those consumer products that you would typically rave about. Unless, it is Sound Hearing that is being reviewed.From prior posts, you can tell we have a history. The most important thing to consider is that we still do after all this time. From top to bottom, the staff is exceptional. They drop everything to focus entirely on their clients and are relentless about getting them taken care of-the first time.They are personable. They are dealing with your health, but they are also dealing with someone who really needs help, and theyre up to the challenge. I have never had a question or issue that they did not immediately address. As a walk-in, they manage to do all they can to address that issue. You may have to wait for them to finish with another client, beforehand, or you may have to come back later in the day, so they can stick to the others with appointments, but you never find yourself disadvantaged by a problem for days on end.They have a beautiful, spacious office with great parking that is both efficient and comfortable, especially with the virus going on.It is my pleasure to speak for Sound Hearing. They have a busy business and they get it done as it should be done. You are always their focus and there are not too many places to go to that still have the same values.

I have had my Widex Hearing Aids from Sound Hearing now for several years and I am very pleased with their performance. I am even more pleased with the service received by Jennifer. She is the best. I have the Com-Dex 400 Bluetooth which allows my phone calls to go straight to my hearing aids for better clarity. I also have the TV attachment which allows the audio to go directly to my aids and since it is connected to the cable box, I can even mute the TV and the sound being picked up by my hearing aids is still very clear.

Sound Hearing and Jenn provided excellent help and support for my hearing aid purchase. I was particularly pleased with the Widex brand. When I got home with my new hearing aids, I sat on the back porch. For the first time in years, I hear the wind blowing through the trees, the water lapping in the pool, crickets greeting the night, and even birds singing. It was like the world of my youth revisited.

It was a great pleasure to deal with Jennifer at Sound Hearing. I have had my hearing aids for about 8 months and am very pleased with them. I was having problems with certain sounds and especially with womens voices. It was very difficult to hear anyone speak to me in a crowded room or a restuarant. In short order Jennifer determine where I needed hearing assistance. I selected the Widex 330 model and am very pleased with it. I was amazed at how much better I could hear especially in crowded rooms. I had a follow up adjustment a few weeks after I got them and she was able to adjust them.

Jennifer truly cares about her patients and is very good in finding solutions for tricky problems. I have a complex profound hearing loss (qualify for cochlear implants because it’s so bad) and she was able to find me a solution that is way better than my prior aids. She’s good at taking into consideration all the factors you have, not only your particular loss, but your budget, how you use them (types of situation, how much technology, etc). I know I’ll have to get these adjusted a bit, as always happens with new aids since you’ve got to wear them a bit to figure out where you need to tweak things. But, I’m hearing sounds I couldn’t with my Costco aids already. I keep finding myself trying to figure out what I’m hearing, since it’s thngs I can couldnt before, like someone breathing, the microwave beeping, the puppy whining, etc. I’m like, “wow, was it always this much going on and I never knew?!? “. So I think this pair will be definitely better, especially after we work out some programming tweaks. Even though I went with the largest behind the ear version of my model, it is much lighter and way less bulky than my Costco aids were (about 5-6 years old). I went with Widex Unique. I’ve only just gotten them so can’t speak to durability, but I know Widex has been around a long time so I think they should hold up. They are definitely giving me more hearing than I had previously. Her receptionist, Jenny, is very sweet and goes out of her way to help too. They are friendly and “down home” personality. Not a cold, “clinical” type of feel at all. Great team! Really glad I found them.
