We had our siding, windows, gutters, fascia, and soffit done on our home. Theres a saying you get what you pay for and this is 100% true when it comes to this company. Their quality of work and attention to detail is something that needs to be admired. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly and the owner of the company even came out during installation to make sure everything was up to his standards. I highly recommend Greater Midwest Exteriors to anyone looking for any exterior home work/repairs.

Totally the best roofer I’ve ever used. Our house was hit by lightning and high winds. Cupola destroyed and damaged shake roofing. Nico the owner was totally responsive and came next day and provided a comprehensive estimate. This immediately approved by the claim adjuster as totally reasonable. As soon as materials were available the crew came and worked nonstop to complete work in one day. The men were very skilled and polite. Will use them when ever I need roofing repair.

This is a brand new installation in a townhome development completed in May of 2021. I was told all of this is acceptable. I dont think they know how to properly install drip edge. I have no idea what that mess is in the gutter. I dont know how anyone can say this is proper. Do your homework before using greater Midwest exteriors.Im only posting here to protect others investment.Added June 18, 2021The contract stated remove and replace all metal flashing. That was not done on my unit. When they removed the old shingles, they damaged the flashing and just shingled over it. I found an area with a nail sticking up.The contract also stated they get to keep all left over material. I would be ok with that if they actually held up their end of the contract and replaced flashing. I wish I could add those photos.Please be careful and due a thorough inspection before you pay them.Adding photos of changes to area with improper felt overlap, nail sticking up and mangled flashing.Updated june 11 2021A neighbor was unable to close on their unit due to a leak that showed up at walk through 3 weeks after inspection. A neighbor has a leak in the garage. Another neighbor has a couple leaks, one at top.

He informed me that I do have adequate insulation in my attic and believed that it wasnt a necessity to add more. He was very honest and didnt try to sell me on something I didnt need, which is tremendously respectful. I will go to G.M.E. for any repairs or upgrades, though, based on the professionalism and honesty that I encountered with Nico.

When I noticed water coming through a light fixture just below the attic, I made a few calls for someone to diagnose and repair the problem. After having multiple companies come out, G.M.E. proved to be the most knowledgable and confident for the task at hand. I hired GME after a storm damaged my roof. Chris was the rep who came out. The communication throughout the whole process was phenomenal. They worked to make sure I got all I needed for my roof. Blake and his crew is great! They were working on our neighbors roof, which honestly did not bother me, but he took the time to apologize for the noise. I asked him about a vent issue that we were having and he dropped what he was doing to speak with me about it and lend a hand. Was very happy with the service received from BLAKE AND JARRED. Originally them came to do an estimate and just did the work while they were there! Fixed my soffit, (damage from the derecho wind event) walked my roof, and gave me an honest assessment. They even painted the new screws to match the trim color - who does that?! BLAKE thats who!And they called backed a few weeks later to follow up, who does that now a days? Rather than jump right in and spend money to fix the problem, GME took the time to investigate the issue and determined that it was in fact a roof issue, and suggested I take up with the roofing company instead. After I experienced severe storm damage to my home in the process of selling it, I shopped many local companies for estimates to fix the roof/siding/gutters.Most companies I contacted required me leave a message on a voicemail, then offered to come give an estimate on a date that was weeks away.When I contacted GME, I spoke to a real person. The owner, Nico, came out the next day and informed me the work would be completed quickly, as he understood I was in the process of selling.I chose to contract with GME, and the repairs were completed before some of the other companies could even come out to provide their estimates.I was able to close the sale of my home with the new repairs months before my old friends and neighbors had their storm damage fixed.Definitely a 5-Star company that provides great service.

Owner gathered the estimate together with windows and exterior work. Knew we were in the process of refinancing and stated that he was not going to make much of a profit from the job but wanted to do it. Refinancing comes through and he jumps the estimate $8000 stating material costs and his window guy in different even though he uses the same window manufacturer. Not sure on his work because I have never seen it but I definitely would not trust the SIGNED estimate and the owners word. Said one thing and decided that he would back out because he was not going to make a large enough profit.
