Very bad and rude experience. Took 5 min max to examine. Didnt want to listen anything I said. Talked arrogantly and then told me that it was all coming from my head. Who gave him the rights, as a gum doctor, to offend me as a patient and diagnose mental stuff ? I left the office crying.
Would never go back. I found the staff at the Shorewood location extremely uncaring and highly incompetent in giving post-surgical care instructions. Due to the lack of proper care and periodontal cleaning of Dr. Kelly I had to have a molar extracted. As I was not able to get a second opinion for some time, I had to let him extract it. It was a horrible experience with little care or instruction. I was pushed out the door with a big wad of gauze and a bleeding mouth. He double books and is not taking the time to review history to proceed with proper care. As other reviews have stated, his Perio Scale/Root Planing consists of a quick scrape and a few pokes to gum tissue. My gum health worsened further after he sold me a whitening product. You should be able to trust that your dentist has your best interest in mind. I should have done my own research. The website says clearly Those with gum disease, worn enamel, cavities, and exposed roots may not be good candidates for whitening their teeth. We recommend visiting your dentist for a pre-whitening consultation so that they can help you choose the professional option that best fits your needs.” He seems to be very profit-driven.
I went to Doctor Kelleys office last week with a dental emergency. It has been quite a few years since I have been to the dentist. I have state insurance now. I chipped one of my molars last week and I was recommended to Doctor Kelley by other dental office because he takes state insurance. He looked at my mouth and said that I have quite a few cavities and that he could help me with my chipped tooth. I called back this morning and the receptionist put me on hold and for like three minutes. She said that I had nothing wrong with my mouth!!? Apparently Dr. Kelley reviewed my xrays and I just need a wisdom tooth extracted which he refered me to another doctor for. This is ridiculous! I know that I need to get stuff fixed. He told me that I did!! Very unprofessional. My guess is that he didnt want to help me because I have state insurance. Just be honest! Dont lie to me and treat me like I am an idiot!!
Dr Kelley is the best dentist! I was referred to Dr Kelley by my dentist who retired. Dr Kelley was highly recommended. He completed gum surgery and implants and now I have great teeth. I refer all my friends.
Horrible experience with Dr. Kelley. He is committing fraud, charging for cleanings that he is not doing. Went in for an annual teeth cleaning and he doesnt use dental hygienists so he poked around my mouth (and it hurt! made me bleed) and spent less than 5 minutes cleaning my teeth. I asked on my way out why he didnt clean my teeth and he and his staff were very rude. He said I didnt need a cleaning (which was what I came in for). He said he would still charge me for a cleaning and threatened to report me to Medicaid. He is HORRIBEL and RUDE and an unethical practitioner. I havent been to the dentist in three years, only get one cleaning covered a year, and now I have to wait another year. All I want is my teeth cleaned. Left in tears, very frustrated.
I was referred to Dr Kelley by a family friend. He replaced my broken and missing teeth with implants. I am very grateful for all the work he has done and recommend him highly. Everyone at his office was very professional.
Thomas reported on my insurance that he did deep cleaning and now that I really need it my insurance wont pay for it. My cleaning was les then 15 min and done when I was by his last September. He took the $$$ from the insurance for deep cleaning but he only did regular cleaning and that was not done right. I am really mad not that I really need deep cleaning insurance wont cover. Thomas lied to my insurance.
Dr Kelley helped me return my smile to what it used to be. After Dr Kelley extracted my bad teeth, he replaced them with implants. I couldn’t be happier. He was very personable and professional.
Dr Kelley did a though exam and discovered that I had intraoral cancer. He referred me to an oral surgeon to have it treated. After many treatments, I am healthy again. I am forever grateful. I can recommend Dr Kelley highly without reservation.
I would not recommend Thomas Kelley. He has poor social skills and his $150 consultation lasted a few minutes. The only reason I went to Thomas Kelley was because he was a provider listed with the insurance I receive through my employer. He coded my consultation in a way that was rejected by insurance so it ended up being a waste of my time and money. I will now be paying $65 out of pocket for a consultation fee to see the doctor my dentist had referred me to in the first place who unfortunately was not listed with my insurance.
Dr Kelley has seen my entire family for over 15 years. He has always been professional and provided excellent treatment. He has taken extra precautions during this time of COVID-19.
The worst dental experience of my life!!!!He has a 2 person office in Brookfield WI. He did not try to establish any rapport he went right into poking all around each tooth several times until they bleed. I finally had to ask him how much longer and that it was really hurting me. He then told me to get out....just leave he said. He seems to pick on women from the reviews from others that reported a similar traumatic dental experience. I proceeded with having to file a report with the Medical Dental Society.
Dr Kelley’s office is the best periodontal office in southeastern Wisconsin. After visiting many periodontal offices, I decided to see Dr Kelley. He has been a periodontist since 2002. He is well informed and offered many options to treat my periodontal disease. I have received outstanding care. His staff is outstanding.
I have never been in a better dental office. His staff was very helpful through the entire process. Dr Kelley was very personable and professional. He took his time with me and explained all of my treatment options. I felt very informed and secure with my treatment decision. Dr Kelley performed my periodontal surgery and made me feel very comfortable the entire time. His assistant was very kind and supportive during the entire surgery. I now have a great result. I am very great full to Dr Kelley and his staff and I recommend him highly. I see him regularly to maintain my great result.
This is a great office. Dr Kelley talked to me like a real person. He really listened to my concerns. I was really impressed with his straightforward approach. He took the time to explain what periodontal disease was and why periodontal treatment was so important. No one ever told me that I had periodontal disease until I saw Dr Kelley. My periodontal disease was treated properly and I am so happy with my results. This dentist really cares about his patients.
He was friendly until he discovered what insurance I had. It didnt cover much, so that determined the amount of time he spent with me. A 5 minute cleaning, once a year! And x-rays every 3 years! Took 2 weeks to get an urgent appointment for what I thought was a loose filling. He didnt take any x-rays, just looked at the tooth, then gave me a list of other dental offices to call.He is ONLY about the money!!!
See Dr Kelley! I am extremely grateful to Dr Kelley for helping me and my daughter. My daughter required a gum surgery for correction of recession after having braces. He did a grafting procedure and fixed it. We were so happy with the result that I had to see him myself to replace my damaged teeth with implants. I trusted his expertise again and now I have a great smile. Thank you Dr Kelley for eveything!
I can’t say enough positive things about Dr Kelley. I had a dental emergency and he saw me right away. I was informed about the condition of my damaged tooth and my treatment options. He extracted my tooth and later placed an implant. I have a great smile again and I am very grateful to him for the services he provided. He was there for me when it mattered. I give him the highest rating.
I had 4 teeth extracted (2 wisdom teeth) and my experience with Dr. Kelley and staff was awesome. Very little pain and I was able to go to work the next day. Everyone at work couldnt believe. Im so happy to have found Dr. Kelley he made my fear of going to the dentist a thing of the past!
Dr Kelley is a great dentist. He has two office locations- one in Shorewood and one in Brookfield. I was able to schedule at either office. His staff has always been helpful. They made working with my insurance easy. I have had great results following my periodontal surgery. I trust Dr Kelley’s expertise.
I was referred to a periodontist who was not close to where I lived. I didn’t like that periodontist. They had a fee discussion with me that made me feel very uncomfortable. The fee was outrageous. The periodontist’s staff told me that they took my insurance, but that the periodontist wasn’t a provider for my insurance. I was very disappointed with the situation. I found Dr Kelley online and was surprised how close he was to me. He took my insurance and I payed what my plan stated my out of pocket price would be. I had a pretreatment estimate. It was far less expensive than the other periodontist. Dr Kelley was very professional and does great work. I was impressed and recommend him to anyone with periodontal disease. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Dr Kelley was recommended to me by my general dentist for an implant. My front tooth broke and could not be repaired again. I decided to have an implant placed by Dr Kelley and now my smile looks better than ever . I recommend Dr Kelley’s office to everyone. Thank you Dr Kelley.
I highly recommend Dr Kelley. I am so happy with the results of my periodontal surgery. I continue to see him along with my family for dental cleanings.
Fastest, most painful cleaning Ive ever gotten. Over in less than 5 minutes, but by the time he was done I was bleeding in many spots and was still in pain an hour later. My 11 year old received her cleaning at the same time and it made her cry - and she never cries. He insisted on 10 x-rays, even though wed gotten them done elsewhere 8 months prior and had let them know which dentist had done them (in the same building).
The WORST dentist award goes to Dr.Thomas Kelley ! He did the x-ray & cleaning himself and I was literally wincing with pain because he kept poking me with sharp instruments like he was angry with me. I had to ask him to stop because I had tears in my eyes and couldnt take it anymore. My cleaning was done within 4 mins and it hardly felt any different expect my gums and teeth were hurting. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to this Dentist !
Fast and pain free.
