I received excellent customer service when I stopped in to ask a question that I had about an older model PC laptop that I still have. With so much new technology these days; I truly commend the gentleman who was gracious enough to answer my question regarding my laptop.Trying to use an out dated PC or laptop is really hard these days; because of how hard it is to keep up with the many software technologies; that are being introduced to the many people who work so hard to keep our communication devices working especially during these difficult times that we are living in.I think anyone who is having trouble with a PC or laptop or any other device should check out Milwaukee PC for themselves and see the wonderful customer service that they offer.

I brought my computer in for a diagnostic because it wasnt keeping a charge and registering an error code.I was told I would be called with a diagnosis and price BEFORE fixing. I was concerned with retrieving my photos and other important data.I call after several days to check in. I was told it was the motherboard and it had gone out. The price was $212 and some change. Milwaukee PC serviced my computer without my ok. It had already been fixed.They did NOT contact me prior to service as they stated. They did not call to explain anything!!!!To add insult to injury, I was told it would take another $25 to put my old hard drive in an external one and I would have to attempt to retrieve my data myself!!!!For them to do it would cost even more money!!! The problem I brought my computer in for was never handled.Then, when I brought my computer home and plugged it in after spending $236 and change, it still has the exact same problem! Shutting off immediately after booting up.He told me bring it back in. I did. Picked it up last week and now its not shutting off but my hard drive was probably replaced for no reason!!!! Lost all my photos and I was never given ANY explanation for what was actually wrong with my computer or educated about any care tips or anything.The absolute worst customer service experience ever!!!!

Thanks to Ilya @ Milwaukee PC, I have never had to worry about problems or issues with any of my computers, whether laptop or desktop. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient with those of us who dont speak fluent PC, this shop is absolutely the go-to place in the North shore for honest, reasonably priced support. They have, on several occasions, gone well beyond the extra mile in my times of crisis. This place is terrible.. I have been waiting for over 3 weeks to get my computer back. All I need is my battery to be replaced. I would of been happier going to Best Buy and spending more money. The roof was leaking water and about to fall through when I went there. I wouldn’t even rate it one star.. don’t go here!

Ive always had a good experience with the service here. I think the woman who said Ilya is a total jerk, must be a total jerk herself. He has a knowledgeable, direct, businesslike manner, and Im sure he has heard a million ignorant questions, but I have found him to be very patient, and helpful. And, although it has been a year since he built a computer for me, which I love, and which was the last time I paid him any money, he still patiently explained to me today something that I had a problem with. And, as for his joking comment to Max, I would just say that I also have a similar sense of humor that puts some people off.

The man did me square, worked on my computer immediately, built me a new one on the spot, and saved my data. Even waived the labor on the bill. Great people!

Milwaukee PC has always done a great job for me in other locations, and this ones no different. I just came back from getting my broken computer diagnosed and they were friendly and knowledgeable. These guys will fix your problem. Best of the best.

Took over two months to repair my tablet.but technician is a nice lady

I bought the best computer Ive ever owned from Milwaukee PC on Capitol. Ilya knows his stuff and has been pleasant to work with every time I come in with an issue. This store is now my first stop for equipment or repairs.

I went into the repair shop and when I asked how he was doing he responded with better then you. It was obvious he presumed I had no knowledge about computers. Not someone Id trust knowing these guys make commission off of repairs.UPDATE: I went through my university tech repair and found out the part costed only 80$. They charged me an additional 30-40$ for labor. This guy had told me it would be AT LEAST 200$ and probably more. Always trust your gut instinct . You do the math.

I took our old printer there to be recycled, and I asked - who I would presume to be the branch manager - where the dated/broken items would ultimately be sent. His response? hopefully back to China or India. (!!!!) He said there are 2 companies in Wisconsin that collect them and he didnt know which company collected for Milwaukee PCs branches and he had no idea where the items ultimately would end up. In other words, as long as it doesnt contaminate our soil or water, who cares? Well, I care. I care about whether people and animals will be hurt if these items are not properly disposed of, whether theyre in the U.S. or on the other side of the globe. I try to support locally owned businesses, but I will never be going to Milwaukee PC in Shorewood again.

To the point, pragmatic, trustworthy, knowledgeable, practical service. I will go nowhere else for any of my computer issue. I highly recommend.

Ilya correctly diagnosed a problem I had with my iMac as a router problem which Spectrum technical support had insisted could not be correct. He has since upgraded my iMac and fixed some problems with it. I find him knowledgeable, patient, and perseverant, with a dry, slightly dark sense of humor, which I do not mind at all!

The guy did an amazing job! after my hard drive crashed he replaced it and had it running better then new! he had it ready in a mere few days. its nice to have someone who knows what hes doing. he identified the problem right away. its a little pricey but worth every penny if you dont want to get a brand new computer and is attached to you device like am. hope i dont have to go back anytime soon but ill most definitely recommend him to my friends!thank you so much!!

Great experience. Diagnosised my PCs probelm within a work week. Answered all my random questions and imparted some knowledge about my build that was very useful. Ilya is your guy to go to.

Guy who runs this place is a total jerk. Told me what I wanted didnt exist and that I obviously have no idea what Im talking about recommended some bull crap stuff he doesnt even sell. Utterly useless waste of time and a serious butthead. Went to Best Buy against my own will and was helped out and got the stuff I wanted in 5 minutes. While I had wanted to support a local small business like this I really couldnt care less if the place burned down and the operator started collecting unemployment. His fault for hating customers.

Excellent service and expertise. My pc melted down: a catastrophic short to the processor and motherboard. Ilya salvaged everything he could, offered an array of options for how to proceed depending on my budget, and then had my pc back up and running better than ever within a week. Would highly recommend and will go there again for our repair needs.
