Any rental companies knows when you walk through the door you have a situation and they usually take full advantage of it. At least the vehicle they rent you wont break down.
I had a wedding to go to out of state so I rented a car from this location. day of they did not have the car and gave me a free upgrade that car had some stains in it. So they upgraded me to a luxury car. This was to cool I was able to go to the wedding in style. Thanks again you guys are awesome
I came to enterprise without a reservation and in a hurry. Malissa and megan took excellent care of me and got me out of there as soon as they could. I will be back for sure and will recommend them to anyone looking to rent a vehicle!
Was able to check in and do a quick pick up. Even had to extend lease which another quick and easy process. Easy to pass up 😅, but just easy to get to. Fantastic service and highly recommended

Very unprofessional. I made a $200 deposit for a renting a vehicle for one week. I was told I can keep the vehicle for additional days if needed. I had to simply call and let them know ahead of time which I did . I was never told at the time of rental nor the time I called to request an additional day that money was going to be deducted from my deposit for that extra day . When I returned the vehicle the next day, they deducted $100 from the deposit for that extra day the vehicle was rented . I was never aware of this, extremely unprofessional. They should inform their customers about any changes .

I’ve dealt with three workers here every time I called or came up to this place it was a complete pleasure!! I needed to rent a car on my lunch break which is 30 minutes they made sure when I got there I was in and out and back to work on time! So nice all of them I passed at least three enterprises before I can get to this one and I will always come back to this one !

Reserved as car and needed a pick up. The guy on the phone said no problem someone is on the was …… 1.5 hrs later someone finally arrived . 1.5 hrs to go 5 miles.

They picked me up in a white Toyota Camry with the passenger side front window messed up and said dont worry about it youre not getting that one anyway but gave it to me anyway customer service is terrible needs to be retrained and quit lying to customers

I recently rented a car from the Shorewood location. Every employee that a talked with was very friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to find me a car at the last minute, at it was cleaned and ready to go when they said it would be. The return was done in less than 5 minutes, and I was on my way. I would definitely rent from this location again..

They are the best. I rented a car from them. It was very easy and fast. I called them because I needed the car longer then I thought, they were very friendly and I had no problems. The prices are good and they have nice new cars. I rent from them once a year for my vacation and I love the experience, hassle free.
So I made a reservation one month in advance. 2 days prior to pick up I get a confirmation call....I show up this morning being told they don’t have a truck for me. I’m supposed to leave for a family camping trip to Yellowstone this morning with NO TRUCK. They call other enterprises to try and find me something comparable in size....they find a Ford Expedition xl but want to upcharge me!! Total scam trying to exploit money out of people during these trying times! Be careful with enterprise and don’t hold your breath that you will get the car you were supposed to!!! UPDATE.....called enterprise customer care spoke to a supervisor was told I would get a call back to discuss what happened never got a call or an email! They do not care about the customers look to use a different rental company or location.

I reserved a Tahoe/Suburban a MONTH IN ADVANCE. When I arrive onsite for my reservation, neither are available. They tried to put me in a Nissan, but the back seats were covered in paint. The attendant said it should wash right off. And he looked at me like I was being dramatic.This is the second time Ive tried to rent a full size SUV from this location. I see other customers taking them out all the time. Im an Enterprise Plus customer who booked a MONTH IN ADVANCE. Whats the point of all of that if it doesnt get me what I need?If John - the regional manager - tried to reach out to me again because of this review, Im going to tell them that its too little too late. You couldnt help me last time and were leaving tonight, so good luck this time.Ridiculous.
The service here was impeccable. Phil, Jaylen and JT are great; very attentive, informative, and professional. My mom and I enjoy their service and always have a great experience. Shorewood is by far the best location weve been to in our area. We will definitely keep returning here and recommending them to our family and friends!
Deals, promises, and agreements were broken. This place is not ran, managed, or supervised by competent people in my opinion. They will tell you things to get you in the store or in a rental vehicle with no intention on following through with verbal agreements. This is the second time renting from here and the last. Both times I was looking for a specific vehicle (one I intend to personally purchase), and both times I was told it’d be there only to be let down on both occasions. Both times I get there and have to wait for them to locate one and hear about their under staffed issue. In order to actually get my desired vehicle I had to take another all the way to Yorkville, IL and I was charged for the fuel to exchange. This isn’t the correct way to conduct business. I am very unhappy, dishonored and disappointed.

Enterprise does not honor the reservation.....when I showed up to get my vehicle they didn’t have it for me. They tried up charging me to a higher priced vehicle. SCAMMERS.....They left my family stranded the day we were supposed to go on vacation!!....avoid this branch read the other negative reviews.....they are trying to get you to upgrade and rent a more expensive vehicle
Fantastic service! I got a pretty good free upgrade which I am happy about. George was very helpful. Parking lot a little crowded but can deal with that.
Always got cars here and it had been a good experience. My last rental they held an extra $200 on my credit card in case the car wasnt returned on time. It used to be $50 which I had no problem with. I felt this much was completely unnecessary seeing that was almost a week rental price. Not sure if I will be renting from them again or not because of this.
Easy to reserve a rental car online. Vehicle was clean fueled up and ready to go when I arrived. Unfortunately when I pre-registered none of my drivers license information or credit card information was on hand by the clerk that registered me. Then he handed me off to another agent who had to register me for a third time. I increased the rating to 3 stars since there were no problems with the vehicle when I returned it and Cam from the store called to follow up on my review.

I had an issue. Apparently an accident over 10 years ago wasnt paid by the insurance company. I never knew it, had an accident, walked into the Enterprise and they told me Im on the no-fly list. I asked if we could clear this up, the very rude young man at the counter said no. Then, I asked for the number in St Louis, home office, he spent probably 5 minutes looking for it. Then he asked me if I was ready for it and I told him just to write it down. Writing it down seemed to be a big problem so he had to sign a couple of times. I still have not called down to St Louis but I was thoroughly disgusted by the display of apathy.

Service was good, car was ready, inspected, and checking in was done in a timely manner. When I returned vehicle everything went smoothly. Had a good experience. Only downside was was reaching someone on the phone. Overall I had a good experience.
Alex & Patrick are incredible. I rent a car for work every week or so and each time that I have come to their location, they know me and are ready. Alex has called me the day before my pick-up to see what car Ive wanted. After one visit, I expressed my liking for a certain car they have... and for the past 3 visits, they have managed to have that car ready for me. I havent even requested it... Im very impressed with their operation and will continue to promote them to my co-workers.THANK YOU.
Jonathan is the manager and was attentive and easy to work with. My wife had a negative experience with Cameron at this location so, she did not want to go pick up the car and had me go in. Jonathan was professional, has great customer service and relatable.
Very fast with the rental today! Someone picked me up at the repair shop on time. Once we got back to the facility I was in and out within 5 minutes with the car. Very helpful and friendly staff made this an easy process even though the events surrounding the need for a rental are usually stressful so it was nice that this was such a good experience.
I made a reservation for a small car, and even though they didnt have one, they drive me to another location. Service was quick and staff were very polite. Ill use them again.

8/19/19- This is my local Enterprise and the new manager is Jonathan and he is AMAZING! I worked with Chacar as well, and he was VERY polite and professional. Unfortunately, my last experience (about 2 months ago) with Cameron (the previous manager) and Mike was not pleasant at all. Mike did not want to call my insurance company at 5:55PM and claimed that my insurance company will be closed so, I called myself and was able to do his job for him. I expressed my concerns to Cameron and he stated that they dont call Insurance companies. REALLY, you are a Car Rental company that assists other insurance companies with claims! I was so relieved when I called to learn that Cameron was gone. Cameron had an unprofessional attitude and did NOT have patience. Jonathan was helpful, professional, thorough and delightful. Thank you Enterprise for bringing him to the Shorewood location. LOVE the NEW Management!

I went to pick up my rental that I reserved a month ago and found out that the office transferred my rental contact to another office without notifying me. The office didnt have the car I reserved so they downgraded me to the car they had. I got in it and the low tire indicator was on. I was informed that I needed to drive the car to reset the indicator. I drove the car about 3 miles and returned to enterprise. The individual thought the indicator light was broken and checked the tires with his hands telling me they looked good. I asked if they can actually check the pressure. Another individual checked the pressure and found one tire was low, so the indicator does work. I left thinking everything was fine. I called asking if I can go to another office to get the car I actually rented. I was informed that I could drive about 8 miles to the next location and switch cars since they had 2 extra vehicles. I found out they do not have any extra vehicles to switch. I wasted 2.5 hours of my morning messing with enterprise issues. The next day, I go to use my rental the low tire indicator light is on again. I have to fill up this slow leaking tire everyday which tells me this car is not reliable. Day 3 same issue, however Im over 2 hours away from the place I rented this car and now I have to waste more time along with being 2 hours late for work this morning to see if another enterprise is willing to give me a different car or fix the issue. Im extremely disappointed with enterprise services and how quickly they dismiss any issues with their cars. When I rent a car I want and need for it to be reliable!

Didnt have the car I reserved so I had to go smaller. Car had half a tank and I was told to return empty since they didnt have what i reserved. Otherwise a decent experience.
