What a treat! This was my first haircut and beard trim since Covid-19 lockdown. Barber Michael was able to squeeze me in for an appointment on short notice. Michael was professional, friendly, and thorough. He took the time to disinfected everything and I felt I was in good hands. My haircut and beard came out perfect. Best barber in Shelton!

What a good find ! Called the day of for an appointment for my two boys and they were busy but squeezed us in! Nick and Marcello were great with the boys ! I love the shop great guys great cuts however during this pandemic the price is just extremely too high . I wish it wasn’t since they are within walking distance from my home . I just can’t afford NYC salon prices . Sadly I have to go elsewhere paying $20 for haircut and shave .

I took my boyfriend, Zach, to Jesse’s last week and we had such a great experience! Zach works a lot, but we made an appointment ahead of time with his schedule and it was so easy! They were so nice and made us feel very comfortable with such a relaxing environment, while giving him the nicest looking haircut he’s ever gotten. Got to talk to Jesse as well who is a very hands on owner and very accommodating! Zach’s really excited to go back, as am i knowing he’s getting a good quality haircut!

The new Shelton location is awesome! Cool signage all over the place, big open floor plan, and the best barbers around. Literally.I’ve been a customer for years and I won’t even consider going anywhere else. Great atmosphere, music, free beer on tap to sip on while you wait, and a fresh cut.They also take appointments which is huge for me so I’m not sitting around for hours waiting for an open chair.The entire staff is approachable and down to earth. Place is awesome.

Was driving through the area and stopped in to get a cut. Shop was comfortable and staff was very friendly. Guys do a great job at making you feel like a regular. I will go out of my way to make this a regular stop for haircuts. Billy was the man!

Because I travel for work, finding a good barber shop can be difficult. Found this shop on Google and decided to check it out. Walked in and the shop had good vibes, pool table, beer on draft, etc. Not only that, Marcello got me out the way with great cut for an upcoming conference. Definitely recommend!

Very disappointed in this barber shop. Ive been a regular client here for some time now and have never missed an appointment before. I missed an appointment due to a medical emergency with my wife and had tried to cancel my appointment but the site wasnt allowing it and I didnt have a chance to call. According to their website you may cancel an appointment up to an hour before your reserve time. I was charged the full price of a hair cut and found out my debit card information had been stored from swiping it in the shop which makes me feel very uneasy. Keep in mind I have NEVER entered the information through their reserve and pay service online for the very reason that I did not want my debit card information stored. If I had paid in cash this would have never been able to happen. After calling the shop Marcello, whos always been amazing, he understood the missed appointment situation and said he would return the charge but would call me back. I called back later and I spoke with Jesse who did not want to hear anything I had to say and spoke over me. I have never missed an appointment there and haven been a loyal customer for a few years and have always been on time and even waited on walk ins who had my spot even though reserving a time. This is not how you should treat customers, especially for a simple refund. This was very unprofessional and with many other great barber shops in the area, I definitely will not be returning and will be sure to share my experience with everyone.

Came in for a wedding party to all get haircuts. Jesse and his team hooked us all up. Him and his team did an awesome job with the cuts and shave, highly recommend their barbershop, definitely will be back again, we had an awesome time.

Jesse’s opened his second location after years of service at his well know & established location in Oxford. Nothing but the best when it comes to barbers & atmosphere at this location.

Jesse really does think on his feet when it comes to getting the customer what he needs.I had a beard issue that took Jesse an extra hour od his time to deal with, and yet he made sure the phone was answered and that other customers kept being serviced.Would recommend highly to anyone looking for a quality cut.

Jesses Barber Shop in Shelton and Oxford are Grade “A” barber shops. The hospitality and experience is top notch. When you walk in it feels like your own man cave/ hangout zone. Being able to sit and chill with the fellas having open conversations about sports, events, personal experience and debates makes the vibe very true and authentic. Jesse and his barbers are very knowledgeable in they’re craft which makes them superior. Fades, combovers, trims, styling, hair washing, head designs, facial hot shaves are just a few of the many offerings they provide to the customers. Anyone is welcome, wheather it be male, female, children, adults. One of the best things they offer is booking an appointment using they’re square up app, all times to fit your schedule and many barbers to choose from depending on what type of service you are looking for.
