I had a situation where a plastic piece broke and was rubbing on my tire. Browns garage was cheerful when telling me that fixing this item would be no problem. They got my car in promptly and attended to my needs, treating me as if I was their most important customer. I appreciate their friendliness and excellent customer services.

When we picked up the car, the original problem seemed to be still there, so they told us to bring it back and theyd make it right. Not only did they fix that problem, they replaced another part that was worn out at no charge. I was so relieved that it went smoothly and professionally. I will definitely be back.

The only place out of 6 places that got us in same day. Everyone else was a week to a month out. Also was the best price out of all. Very friendly and professional. They even gave me a ride home so I didn’t have to wait. Thank you for great service. Will definitely be back and recommend.

New in town of Shelton. First time looking for an auto repair shop in town so there was some anxiety finding the right place. Browns had a lot of good reviews online so I booked an appointment.I’m really happy with the work they did! On time and good price. They were friendly, professional and courteous. will use them again and recommend them!

Took my 97 XJ to Browns Garage for a rebuilt transmission to be put into it.There were some shipping delays due to shipping (nothing to do with the shop). Marlo (Owner) was all over the shipping company. Once the transmission arrived it was a speedy process and the XJ is running great. Troy (mechanic) found some critical problems which needed to be addressed immediately. I am in the process of building this XJ and defiantely will be taking back to Browns garage to work on it.

Browns garage has done great work for us. They are very versatile in the kinds of auto repair they provide We highly recommend them to others who want an alternative to dealership service departments.

Finding a trustworthy auto mechanic service can be a comforting relief. This is what I found with Browns Garage. I needed to replace the wheels on my truck with a new set. Marlo was extremely friendly and quick to accommodate my request. The job was completed timely, professionally and the mechanic took pride in communicating to ensure my request was done accurately. Even better, the cost was 1/2 of another well known tire shop. It was very apparent that providing a positive customer experience is the goal of Browns Garage.

Took my 1980 CJ5 in for electrical issues ignition start up and shut down issues check up and diagnostic tests 😑 Me and BOSS MAN had shared interest about the Navy Im confident those electrical issues will be rectified...

I dropped my car off on Thursday for the repairs to be done on Friday, I got a call and text letting me know my car was ready the day I dropped it off. They saved me $700 on an A/C kit from a prior quote. They also quoted me $100 less than another repair shop on brake repairs, and offered to let me make payments. Great place. Great environment. On time.As a first time foreign car owner I was beyond scared to even have my car looked at because everywhere charges an arm and a leg. Seen an ad for browns garage and messaged Marlo. She was quick to respond and answered all questions asked. Took my car to have it inspected by the wonderful mechanics Shane and troy. They both were very informative and didnt look at me weird for asking questions. Had my parts ordered then Took it back the next day to have it worked on. I dropped my car off at 10am it was done by 2pm. Highly suggest this shop.

There are people who care about you and think that you can do much much better. Do not attempt to contact us privately again or to get in the last word. My wife is quite upset.

We took our 2006 Audi A 6 in for timing chain cover replacement as well as rear main seal replacement, as the car was already having it’s transmission rebuilt...I took the car down on a flatbed, and dropped it off...they performed the work and I came to pick the car up the next day or possibly two days after dropping it off...when we got the car bac from the transmission shop there was a huge puddle of oil in the driveway the next morning...so after some serious contemplation I decided to take the car to Too Quick Automotive in Tacoma...I was highly unimpressed by the quality and thoroughness that the tech/shop manager performed on my vehicle....so I would like to just let folks know...these guys are sub par...they perform sub par work...So if you don’t want your time and money wasted do not go here! This review is far from fake! Below is a picture and report of what was wrong with the car after leaving Browns Garage! As to your records, I paid cash so I’m guessing that you probably pocketed that and that’s a matter for the Department of Revenue to further investigate.So keep it up acting like I’m lying about anything is a huge mistake, because as you can see I keep some stuff handy to prove I’m right! You Marlo Brown are a true piece of work...not only does your shop do bad work, you now engage in all out lying to try and discredit a bad review... most recently due to the fact that this lady can’t seem to EVER tell the truth, I’ve also included a picture of my truck, on the lift at Browns Garage and her best tech Shane Watts working on it...keep up the lies lady...you’re digging this hole even deeper!

I own a 2001 Dodge caravan I used to always go to the dealer it seemed like Everytime I took it in to get fixed the bill was outrageous.. My dad suggested I try Browns garage..That they had worked on his Honda & that they were much cheaper & did great work. My experience with them was just that...Very honest & affordable. One thing that represents the type of people they are happened today, my dad is 63 & lives on a fixed income.. its near the end of the month & money is tight...He brought his Honda in with a massive oil leak & they fixed the seal that was out & changed the oil for free. She told us she didn’t have enough money to fix the trans so we, in good faith, gave her 1000.00. Come to find out she then went on vacation.. Our car is still there. Going on 2 years now. Went in for a clutch issue.

Made an appt on 8/13 for the morning of 8/20. Showed up and the place was shut down. Porta Potty place sharing the lot confirmed they had closed. Now hearing they just moved somewhere else. Didnt mention it to a returning customer upon making the appt, still havent updated their address on Google, and didnt call me when I didnt show so I guess they dont need my business.

Excellent service and excellent patience and trust by allowing me to pay my bill later when my income tax refund came in. Without her fixing my car and allowing me to pay later, I would have lost my job (a couple years ago) for inability to get to and from childcare and work and home.

More than accommodating and did what needed to be done, nothing more. I will definitely use them again.

I dont understand how the place can be called a garage... There are no mechanics there! They cost me a new clutch and afterwards handed me 2 bad checks totalling $1150.00, for my services. Its been 3 months now and they still have not made good on it! Theyve got this swindler behind the desk as you enter the establishment... Facial hairs but dont let that fool you, a scandalous female. Never been treated with such disrespect as Ive been at this establishment, (REFUSE TO CALL IT A GARAGE) because they dont repair vehicles there. That must be just a front, to cover the scam theyre perpetrating on unsuspecting customers. A more accurate name for the shop would be: Den of Thieves...

If I could leave no stars I wouldve, ABSOLUTELY the WORST work done Ive ever had, repugnant manager, destroyed my car and robbed me of 2000.00 I left for repairs, after 12 months of waiting...I lodged a complaint with the BBB and it is open still. Very very shady outfit. Pays employees in cash. Openly lies, steals parts and sells them. White trash... I wouldnt ever recommend them to work on anything ever

My husband and I broke down near a convenience store and luckily I went in and asked them if they knew of a repair garage. They did - her uncle worked at Browns. We were from out of town and were going nowhere.Anyway they sent a mechanic over to our vehicle and then the owner came to us also. He went and got the part and subsequently our vehicle was repaired on the spot. What wonderful service. We followed them back to their office where we paid the bill which was very reasonable. We were so delighted to deal with honest efficient people. Unfortunately I am not so efficient because this review is long overdue. Our event occured on January 11th 2016.I would highly recommend Browns. Thanks againLinda and marty
