Compass is a great place for all your storage and hauling needs. The building and units are clean and the staff are all super nice. Plenty of options to make payments, by phone, online, and in person which makes it super convenient for the busy body like myself. All in all its a great place I definitely recommend them. AAA+++

I was moving from Knoxville to Shelbyville and I was going to get there later than I wanted. I contacted them and, the general manager, Kerry was kind enough to wait for me to get there. She made a long move that much easier on me and I will always appreciate the kindness she showed me. The facilities are clean, organized and look to be very well maintained.

I’ve been using Compass Storage for several years. The manager Kerry Delaney is SUPER NICE and very helpful. She helped me choose the best storage unit for my stuff. The storage units are clean and nice. They have a gate at the entrance and exit which you have to have a code to get in which I love because no one can get in unless you have a storage unit there. This and their security cameras around the entire place gives me peace of mind knowing my stuff is safe. They have many storage units to choose from which they have some inside with climate control and outside. The size varieties of the units are perfect for anything you need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

After extensive research and conversations with some friends I secured 2 slips for my Prevost and my boat. There is power hookups and great maneuverability. The cost is best in middle TN. If you are away from Shelbyville it is worth the drive . Ive had no issues with damage or security. Ive also renewed.

EXCELLENT storage facility! Our business rented a temperature controlled unit for just over 3 years. The place was always spotless and we never saw a single pest or bug. The staff was outstanding. This is the CLEANEST, and BEST ORGANIZED storage facility I have ever seen! As an elderly woman, I always felt safe going to my unit, there were plenty of carts to carry my stuff in and out, and the personnel was wonderful. Kerry DeVaney, the manager, was always cheerful, helpful and completely professional in meeting what ever need I had. My message to the upper management: Give that woman a raise! For my part, I believe her supervision and management of the facility is what makes it the best around. It is a blue ribbon facility and I recommend it to anyone, young or old, who needs extra storage space temporarily or long term.

Had a long three year business relationship with Compass. They always did what they said they would do. Clean facility. Highly recommend.

We were in the market for a place to store our RV under cover and with electrical availability. After calling them and speaking with Amanda, we went to the Shelbyville location. We were very impressed with their facility and even more so with the staff. Both Amanda and Kerry were great, very friendly, personable and efficient. Consequently, we rent space for the next year, which actually yielded additional savings. The price was very reasonable and the entire experience was very pleasant.

I’ve had a small storage facility for a long while and from day one, I was greeted so pleasantly by Kerry and staff. Over the past few months I’ve needed their help getting digital copies of my monthly stmt and both Amanda and Kerry have been super quick to respond with exactly what I’ve needed as I’ve emailed them. If you’re someone that wants/expects top notch customer service, you will find this with the Shelbyville location.

I obtained a storage unit for my elderly father as we attempt to sell his house and transition him into something smaller. I was in a hurry to rent a unit and was expecting to have to jump through 328 hoops, but both ladies were very helpful in getting me setup in no time, and were very friendly to my father who was asking various questions.I know that my review does not sound spectacular, but I am 52 and I travel for a living, so I am constantly dealing with people behind counters to rent cars, hotels, check in, etc, etc, and both of these ladies were well above par.... sadly I do not remember there names ....

Excellent experience facilitated by the General Manager Kerry. We packed up our 4 children and moved across the country in September. It was not an easy move at all as I had to rent a U-haul and tug it along 1800 miles to our first destination. Kerry really did help make the move easier by providing support when we arrived, giving us the best storage rate available with a discount she was able to apply. And then, when we moved yet again after we found our house, I had nothing but problems with U-haul quoting me an exorbitant rate for 24 hours of use. I believe it was $91 for a 5x8 trailer. I paid less than that to move from AZ to TN for the trailer to begin with for 4 full days. Kerry did everything she could to help us get the rate down and it ended up being about $40. She is amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable! It is people like Kerry that make any business what it is. Thank you so much for your help! You made a rough trip a little bit more bearable.

The place is clean(which is always a plus). The staff especially Miss Brenda are amazing very helpful and resourceful. I have had an outside bin for a year and just upgraded to a bigger bin and a climate controlled bin and they made the transition smooth even though it was just before closing. I wouldnt go anywhere else. And the price isnt bad either. Really best place around.

Amazed at this facility and it’s management! My rv is housed there now. We moved it from a place that charged almost 3xs the cost, had to walk through some muddy areas and deal with trash from other units. Though the drive from the house to Shelbyville is further...the savings and security makes it well worth the extra time and effort. Additionally, we were extremely impressed with Carrie! It’s obvious that she loves her job and is friendly, informative, organized and efficient. We give her and this company an A+!

Since they bought out Stor-n-lock. They have raised rates, charged for insurance, cut the hours you can access your own things you are paying them to let you store there.Had some things stolen from outside storage as well. Never had that problem before they took over.Not a fan. Wont be back. There are better companies out there.I can not suggest this place, or say Ive heard any positive stories about this place from others since it was bought out.

I went to rent a car trailer the lady at desk had no idea what she was doing lost all info on screen twice and ended up still not being able to rent the trailer! Said my vehicle wasnt rated for that weight! Ive pulled many trailers I know whats safe believe me Im not unsafe!

Well they were easy to talk to about moving In to there units, we had a leaking roof and they gave us a new storage and a discount on our next payment, there units are clean and no one tried to steal our stuff, they care about our things highly recommended
