Had my brakes and rotors changed at Shelby Oil Stop today. The breaks didn’t feel right after, but I took it back and Kevin just re bled the lines and that did the trick and it was a super quick and easy fix.. Other places were going to charge over 200 dollars more to get the job done. Kevin even called to inform me that something else needed to be changed instead of surprising me with the change and extra cost. If you need brakes or rotors changed, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with them. They are also great with oil changes and you can sit in your car while they change your oil. 😊

They told me Midas-Shelbyville who did my last oil change did not tighten my oil filter so my car had been leaking oil since my last oil change! Wont be going back to Midas! Shelby Oil Stop for now on! I love that they also do reward cards for oil changes! Highly recommend pulled in no wait in and out in less than 15mins! Great job guys!

I love that I can pull in, get my oil changed and be on my way in 10-15 minutes. The staff is always super friendly. I enjoy not being hassled about every possible upsell; glad to have found this place. Be sure you get your punch card; I wasnt offered one until about my 3rd visit.

Just opened a few months ago, this long empty quick oil change and lube business has now been purchased and new owners opened it back up under their new name. They have 2 large drive thru doors you enter from the side street, you can sit in your vehicle while they perform all the work, then when completed you drive out the front and onto the main road.They offer specials and have coupons in some newspapers and other local ads. They usually are not super busy, so you can be in and out in about 20 minutes. Make sure you ask them the total price, and what you are getting, because you do not always have to change your air filter.They also offer a few other quick install items if you need them too. Prices seem average and fair for a quick change place. No appointment needed, just drive on in.

First time customer, oil was leaking the next day. Husband took it back, they admitted it was leaking and supposedly adjusted it. New puddle of oil the following day. Returned for the 3rd time and they said yep, its leaking but its not our fault, its due to the plug on the car. I said that plug has been on there over a year and it has never leaked oil EVER until after I came here 3 days ago, so how is it not your fault?? He was defensive and could not answer the clear and simple question no matter how many times I tried to redirect him to answer it. I finally said okay then, since you changed my oil and now it wont stop leaking, but you wont correct the problem you caused, refund my money and I will take it elsewhere to get it corrected. He said they couldnt refund my money because they did the oil change and the plug issue was not their fault- EVEN THOUGH IT HAS LITERALLY NEVER EVER LEAKED A SINGLE DROP OF OIL UNTIL THEY TOUCHED IT.He then turned nice when I got upset and said he could put a new plug on that would keep it from leaking. He said he didnt like the existing type of plug. It is clear this place just doesnt know how to operate that kind of plug, as my go-to oil change place for years (before moving here last month) put it on specifically because it was the best kind to prevent any leakage - proactively replacing the original before it could start leaking, as the seal was starting to weaken. The new plug has never had a single issue, even with getting monthly oil changes (I drive a lot!).So the guy offered to put a new plug in - but never did acknowledge that it was a problem directly related to them servicing my car!!! Acted like they were doing me a big favor after causing the whole issue.In summary, to be fair, my oil got changed and is supposedly no longer leaking (to be determined), at no extra cost to me (I would hope not, sheesh!!!). The guy eventually did what he could to make it right. Doesnt change their hesitance to take responsibility for their actions. I dont like leaving negative reviews, but people should be aware that there might be issues if you have an oil plug they arent able to operate - it will definitely not be their fault.
