I spent over 50 bucks to get a tire plugged and another tire sealed around the rim. These were carry ins so no mounting on the vehicle. When I arrived to pick them up the service guy refused to help me load them in my car. I was dressed in business attire and barely strong enough to carry Milk without grunting but I managed to get my tires loaded. I told the employee that it was sad to think for that kind of money they couldnt even load my tires. I had to wash my pants at the office to get the residue off.thats what I get for trying somewhere new just because they are close to the law office where I work. I dont recommend using them.

Update::: I couldn’t decide if to post this but talking with others I decided to. I went in for a inspection and I assume who is the manager cussed me. I didn’t get his name but he was the one with glasses and tattoos. I went back today and I asked the larger guy if he was the manager and he said no ma’am long story short managers name is Dale but he won’t be back until later. NEVER going back here.

Ive had our vehicles serviced at Mr. Tire for a number of years. You want to take your vehicles to someone you can trust, and Ive always trusted the folk at Mr.Tire to shoot straight with me. They tell me what needs to be done without adding on unneeded extras. When they can save me money without sacrificing safety, they inform me of my options. The quality of their work has been great. When I pick up my vehicle after theyve worked on it, I have confidence that I can head down the road in a vehicle that is good to go. Highly recommend.

Had done business with Clark Tires for several years and thought I would continue when Mr. Tire purchased the business. I let them do all the service on 4 of my vehicles but it seemed their prices kept going up and up for the same services I used. I finally decided to go else where and paid a lot less for the service and was happy. My son had some new tires put on at a different place well they broke a wheel stud off by over tightening. Thought I would repair myself but couldn’t get lugs off so I thought, what the heck and called Mr. Tire. Got to admit I got an appointment very quickly for the next day. Arrived before appointment time and was told I would be called with a repair cost. Roughly 30 mins later I drove back by the shop and my sons truck was still outside. 30 mins later I was called saying it would be $120 excluding tax. I told them to go ahead with replacing the stud (which I already bought a new one). About 20 mins later I was called to pick up my truck. Got there and questioned why it was so expensive and was told, “ Yeah that does sound high!” Cashier didn’t even ask but took our money. Asked to see the manager and was told they charge $120.00 an hour. Told them they didn’t do an hours work on the truck but they didn’t care. So, it appears that if they work on your vehicle 5 mins or a full hour they gonna charge you for an hour!Had the manage try to convince me they worked on the truck 1.6 hrs and I know for a fact that’s just NOT TRUE!So long Mr. Tire your business will NEVER get another penny of mine!

Staff was outgoing. The prices were best in town. The wait was to be expected. Would do business with them again. Two thumbs up.

Went there to get a tire patched. Some young kid sharply replied that they dont do mud tires. Came outside to look and said nope, we dont do em.... Aint worth it to us. You can try down the street as he walked off. I did in fact try down the street and called around. Literally EVERY other tire place in Shelby said they would patch the tire for $20-$35. This kid didnt offer a plug, new tire, or any other suggestion other than down the street . Lil cocky kid.

Very poor place todo business with.Bought 2 tires 2 months ago.The sidewall on one of them started coming apart. Called Mr. Tire where I bought them, to see how they would handle warranty.They tell me I have no warranty at all. They wanted full price to replace the tire.So I called their corporate number and went that route. Finally they pro rated a new one.I was never offered any type of warranty when I originally purchased these 2 tires.I spent $ 988.00 that day at Mr. Tire.If I had to pay an additional fee for a warranty, I would have.Since then Ive done business with DISCOUNT TIRE.THEY HAVE AN AMAZING WARRANTY, AND IT WASNT EXTRA.

I do NOT recommend this place. The manager is RUDE. A friend of mine took her car in because the check engine light came on and they charged her but did NOT fix the problem.UPDATE: I have tried the number you gave me for Customer Service three times. I hold for about 10 minutes each time and no one comes to the line. I tried leaving my number for someone to call me back, and they did once, but then hung up right as I answered the phone.

Let me start off by saying employee disregards any safety precautions of COVID-19 no mask, gloves, etc. First he tried to get me to buy the 2 most expensive tires and claimed they didn’t have the tires I was asking for until I showed him proof that they have these tires with a screenshot. Spite all of this I still came to my appointment at 10 a.m. to install 4 new tires. I was the only one here and l left at 12:45. Wouldn’t recommend there service to anyone.

Staff is friendly. Seems like price of oil change increases every time I go. $54 and some change today with a $10 off discount for my Drive card. Tire rotation was included with oil changes since I bought tires here but was told today I had to ask for it.Update 3/3 - I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt when I was there last time but after my experience on the phone today I am sad to say I will probably have to find another place to do business. When I was there a month ago, they were extremely slow. It took well over an hour for an oil change (only 1 other customer there who had been waiting for at least 2 hours by then) and then they finally came out they recommended a few other things, one of which was a tag bulb. I told them to go ahead and do that. I didnt check it, trusting they had indeed changed it. I noticed this morning that it was not working so I called to see if they would make it right. I was told he hated it for me but they couldnt guarantee the life of the bulb and said I would have to pay to have it replaced again and they could check at that time to see if it was some wiring causing it to short out (more money I am sure for them to check it). I have my doubts as to whether or not it was even changed to begin with but there is no way to prove one way or the other so I will let that go. The other complaint I have is that the road hazard warranty they so anxiously push when buying a set of tires is pretty much useless. They dont replace the tire if anything happens to it. They will patch it if they can - otherwise they charge a prorated amount for a new tire. I used to really like and trust this place, but now I am not so sure about them anymore.

My family and I were passing through Shelby when our tire light came on. With it being past 5pm, we were worried we wouldn’t be able to find help. My wifes tire went flat literally less than a quarter mile from this location so we brought it here to get it repaired. We were immediately informed, without them even taking the tire off, that we needed a new tire altogether. The manager at the front desk (Dale) stated that it would take a couple hours because they were so busy (a total of one person in the waiting room). Right before closing-time (6:45), with the vehicle finished, the manager quickly and rudely asks us how we get our window up. First of all, the window has never gone down and been broken for years. Secondly, we brought our car to get a new tire, and there was no reason to mess with the window to begin with. After informing him that the motor had been broken in the window for years, he continues to run our credit card and basically say screw you bud. Called the next day hoping to speak to another human being that would possibly do something about it, only to be informed that Dale answered the phone once again and say, again, we were screwed, that they didnt get paid to fix windows, and we were on their own. My wife called a few minutes later and he yells and argues with HER....a CUSTOMER! Absolutely pathetic. These people are rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate, and lack any type of decent compassion and customer service. GO ELSEWHERE ANYWHERE BUT HERE!--- Addendum: After calling the Kings Mountain location and speaking with the manager, he apologies on behalf of THIS LOCATION and states how many customers have left Shelby for their location since the tyrant-turned-manager Dale came to the helm. Very sad when when you have such a lousy reputation with the community. However, Mr. Tire KM offers, politely and without hesitation, to fix the window, and that all we needed to do was to bring it by there. So we did, and within three minutes, the window was up. Thats all it took. Three minutes. But Dale and his crew were too hateful and ill to bother with a three-minute repair job. Ill never be back to Shelby, thats for sure. Kings Mtn. will have all my future business.

Ever since it became Mr Tire you have to have an appointment to blow your nose in the parking lot. When Daren ran the store he would make it happen. Over the years I have probably spent $1000’s of dollars here on oil changes, inspections and tires. With 6 cars my family has it adds up. Will now be taking my business elsewhere. Guy that runs the front was lounging around behind the desk reading the paper, one customer in the lobby, couple of open bays at 10am on a Saturday...but I need an appointment.

This is a really good place to get your car worked on very nice people their customer service skills are at the top of the line and their prices are the best I have found around town the wait it’s long! They have a nice waiting room while you can wait for your car to get finish that has TV and free Wi-Fi I definitely would recommend this place any day to my friends and family if you want somebody you can trust come to Mr. tire in Shelby!

Had an oil change service was great and fast

Made an appointment at 1415 to get an oil change. Everything was excellent, great staff, in and out. Appreciate Aaron for making sure things went smoothly.

Was a loyal customer for 2 years. My car started leaking oil, I brought it in, expecting them to fix it. The said, no problem, we will take care of it. I received a call stating that the oil pan bolt was stripped. They refused to replace the bolt, and said the only fix was a $600 oil pan replacement. As they were the only ones who had worked on the car, and they said they would take care of it, I expected them to fix it, but instead they said they do not do temporary fix of enlarging the bolt, or installing a heli coil. to top it off, they said they could not replace the drain plug. Long story short, I was left with an un-drivable car, with no oil, and no fix, and I had to have it towed to another shop to complete a $60 fix.

Had an emergency brake problem with my car. Arrived at Mr. Tire at 6:50. They close at 7:00. They repaired my car after hours and called me at 9:00pm to pick my car up so I could work out of town the next morning. Very professional customer service. Thank you Dale.
