Over work their employees and call them family. Then lay off 90% of the staff every year after 4th quarter. Great place to work if you want to make $10/HR to stand around and do nothing all day.

Work they for 4 days ish pay was only 10.53 not good in my case, with a angry black supervise, with tons of my race it was hard to stand out. will not work with them until i feel they can do better.

I have worked there before. All line leads/supervisors are Mexicans/Hispanics which who does not know how to lead all new employees with inexperienced speech. While you learn from watching others are doing to experience the job duties. Please dont expect the company to be written up.

Terrible place to work. Unorganized, no structure, horrible management. I would give them a big fat ZERO star if that was an option. Pay is terrible. Not recognized for anything and they will work you to your death bed with no incentive or additional pay and could care less about you as a person. Could care less if you have a life or family, they only care about the money they make, which the employees will not see any of. Lies about raises. Just completely one of the worst companies. My advice, DONT EVEN BOTHER! ANY other company out there will treat you better and with more respect than Cokem, and pay you more. At cokem youre nothing but a slave and will be treated as such. You will work holidays and 80+ hours a week with no OT pay. They need some law suits on their hands. I dont know how this company survives with the employee turnover and they will never change their ways, they are too ignorant and thick headed to realize thats not how a company should be run.

Managers are almost all lacking ethics. They have no idea how to be real leaders. The company takes advantage of illegal immigrants by making them work in rather poor conditions (because they know they cant complain or risk losing a consistent job for them.) Incredibly cheap company, expect to get paid less than your worth. No loyalty whatsoever to their employees. Nothing is done efficiently or effectively. Warehouse area is dangerous. I personally was inches away from being killed (luckily only mildly injured) on the job due to a pallet falling on me at my workstation from a bad pallet driver. They then told me it was against their company policy for the time I missed at work due to going to the doctor. What company does that to their employees? I had worked there for 3 years and they cant cover a minor expense due to their company policy. Not even one week later a Manger forced one of the illegals to climb up and cut away some zip ties on a electrical wire. Dude shocked himself badly. This place is not safe and they dont do right by those who get hurt.Learn to be good people and do right by all of your employees. Not just the boys club at top. Learn about genuinely caring about the conditions your workers face instead of what you can get away with. Treat all your employees with respect and fore the manager who refuse to abide. Instead of threatening low moral workers with termination, how about fixing the root causes of the low moral. Dont throw a trump is president party in front of all the Mexicans you employ and laugh at them as they worry about their futures. Seriously, just learn to be good human beings.

Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this company, whatever you do do not except a job with them. By far the most unexperienced and unethical upper management that I have ever worked with in my career. They allow upper management to verbally abuse employees and they promote taking advantage of illegal immigrants. Also they allow sexual harassment of their employees from upper management and do nothing about it. They have no concern for the safety of their employees and make them work it in on the air-conditioned warehouse throughout the summer that gets over 120°, they will not allow employees to even have water out in the work area and if you’re looking to go to the bathroom good luck. There is only two urinals and two stalls for the man yet they’ll be over 200 employees working on a shift. If you speak English good luck finding a way to communicate with the employees that you manage, they would rather pay low wages to illegal immigrants then bring in qualified workers. The company is fully aware that they are breaking state and federal laws by employing illegal immigrants and is totally OK with it. I witnessed over and over so many illegal things that they were just sweep under the rug, if you’re looking to work for a company that cares about their employees and treat them that way then do not look for employment at this company. Stay away from this company as I’m sure they will not be around in the next five years.
