Great place for little ones to get some physical activity, socialize, and play with lots of educational toys and equipment! Super easy check in process, private bathroom facilities, and even a great selection of educational toys available for purchase. Really awesome staff who are experienced with children of all varieties. Also--somehow, despite children--it is VERY clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very clean kids gym with various swings, a slide, Zipline, huge trampoline and a fun rock wall. Staff was very courteous and friendly and interactive with my daughter. She felt comfortable with them and was talking to them for the whole 2 hours we were there. $14 per child for 2 hours and my daughter is looking forward to going back. She said she gives it a thumbs up!!

I have to say, the interaction between the new owners and the kids has been amazing to watch from afar. I would much rather be known as the business that is too friendly than not friendly at all. Well done Austin and Tyler. You guys Rock. Thank you for saving this safe haven for so many families that truly needed it! You reassurance to the community has brought back the spirit and love into We Rock Severna Park!

We were introduced to We Rock the Spectrum by a new friend who suggested meeting here for a play date. I am so grateful for this invitation! My son is usually slower to adjust to new places and people, and resisted going inside on his first visit. Once inside, he quickly changed his disposition and cried when it was time to leave. There is a variety of equipment and toys to entertain and meet many physical, developmental, and sensory needs. The staff and owners seem to work hard to get to know their customers and to create a welcoming, inclusive space. On our second visit, my sons face lit up with pure joy as we got out of the car and approached the door. We travel more than 1.5 hours each way to visit because my son loves this place so much. It is a great feeling to see my son enjoy being himself. I truly appreciate how We Rock the Spectrum celebrates my son rather than simply tolerate his presence. If this location were closer, we would visit more often. However, we visit as often as we can and each visit has always been worth the drive for us.

Fantastic facility and staff for kids of all ages, abilities/development. For parties they reserve the facility entirely for the patrons/guests. My kids had a great time, the staff/owners were incredibly helpful and courteous. We’ll be back for sure!

My twins have a blast here. The staff is really helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The only suggestion I can make is that when it gets busy if a staff member could monitor the zip line. I get a little overwhelmed in that area especially with two special needs kids running around. Keep up the great work with this place!

Great visit with our 18 month old granddaughter. It has all the toys we don’t have room for. Since it was a school day, we only had the under K crowd and it was not crowded in any event. We’ll bring our granddaughter back on her return visits to the area.

This place has been a God sent for my son on the spectrum. He gets excited as soon as he sees the turn we take before getting there. The owners have a family history of autism and are very good with appropriately engaging the kids. Its a super easy check in process and they always remember my sons name. I also love the classes and events available including a special sensory session on event days. My son enjoys their little sensory room when he needs a break from the stimulus in the gym. Its nice to go somewhere you feel comfortable to let your guard down and can just enjoy playing with your child. Thanks Devon and Octavia for creating a positive environment for all children!*edited to add*My sons Occupational therapist met us at the gym and was so impressed that she has been encouraging other clients to go as well! My son has low muscle tone and needs a lot of sensory input and shes noted the huge improvement hes made since we started going weekly!

Our 5 yr old loves this place! I just love how caring and bubbly the staff is...the kids all really seem to enjoy it here. They do so many activities throughout the week as well! I just love having a place that my baby can run and play and be his awesome self without having to worry about being teased or left out for being different. This place is truly amazing and we need more like it!

Great Experience. the new owners are so caring and attentive to the children and parents alike. The energy vibrating throughout the gym is positive and upbeat. Between the new rock climbing wall, the flat screen television used to promote group building exercises like line dancing, and the free coffee, I could not ask for a better place to bring the kiddies.

This business was recently sold to a new owner. We decided to go there and play on Saturday since it was so cold. It was TERRIBLE! There were at least 5 children from ages 2-10 completely unsupervised -- who I believe are the new owners children or family members. We kept having to ask these kids to move out of the way of the zipline and other toys so no one got hurt. A 2 year old was standing on a train table throwing wooden pieces at other children and almost pulled a TV mounted on the wall onto his head - before myself and another parent (that was not his parent) intervened. I watched a toddler girl pull toys out of an autistic boys hands and there was no one to tell her no. The boys mother had to intervene and we were both looking around like where the heck is this childs supervision?. The older unsupervised children were behaving dangerously on the swings. It was a dangerous situation all the way around. After paying $26 we left after only 45 minutes...and 15 of those minutes were spent with us holding our children who were afraid to play. We noticed other families doing the same. We felt like it was a romper room with no rules for the owners family/kids and us paying customers were just there to fund their chaos. The behaviors we encountered were not due to autism or behavioral disorders --- they were purely a lack of adult supervision. At no point did either of the 2 staff members who were present try to step in and prevent any of this dangerous behavior from continuing. They seemed oblivious to it. We wont be back.Edited to add - #1 - I have never called you or your business. #2 - both my husband and I were present with our two children. #3 - there were no classes taking place, it was open play. It would seem that you are mistaking me for another unhappy customer.

This place rock on all levels! Every time my husband and I bring our kids the place is clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. Since the new owners took over they added yoga classes and kickboxing that my kids absolutely love and enjoy on Sundays. They also have a rock wall that I have to constantly remind my husband not to get on hahah. Most of all open play is now more consistent than before. They now have it everyday. Before we never knew when Open Play was and we drive a way to get here so it’s good to know that we can come in the evening around 5 and still have time to allow our kids to play. The new owners are amazing especially Octavia with her We Rockers videos on Facebook! If I could give more stars I would!

This place is AMAZING! We have tried similar places that were not inclusive and had a hard time with our child being overwhelmed or left feeling excluded. We Rock the Spectrum was perfect for his special needs. Wide open safe place to play, clean, lots of varied toys and equipment, welcoming and helpful staff, and we never felt judged or like my sons stimming behavior was frowned upon. It felt like going to play at a friends house, I cannot recommend them enough for any one with differently abled kiddos.

My kids and I came here on Monday and had a fantastic time!! My kids are 4 and 11 and I literally had to drag them out because they did not want to leave. I wasnt sure where I was having my 4 years bday party, but I found the place for sure! There membership and party packages are acceptionally reasonable! The owners are very kind and friendly they really make you feel apart of the family. The environment had melow child appropriate music playing and it was very clean and well organize. Cant wait to visit again!

We have been going to WRTS since we moved here in June 2017. So much so that I had asked family members to get my kids gift certificates for open play for Christmas. My first visit since Courtney sold was Jan 11th. I went with my 2 kids (almost 4 and 2.5) to meet a classmates of my daughter for a playdate. When we got there Octavia couldnt find the open play passes on our account and so I had to pull up the email I received from the family member. She comments that it was put into the system wrong but she will take care of it. Ok, no problem. Fast forward, Octavia leaves and its now her husband, a new employee they are training and their son who if I had to guess is maybe 18months or close to 2. Mr. Brown is paying no mind to his son in the gym and is busy training this new employee on the computer system. Their son keeps asking up to be put up into the swing so I help him out put him in the swing, he wants down, I get him down. He wants some of the dress up items down I get them for him. I would do this anywhere if I see a kid struggling to get something to play with and im right there I would absolutely help. But when my entire time there Im helping and playing with your child instead of spending time with my own kids and ive paid for them to play there it doesnt sit well with me. Then the son bites me because I didnt get him off the exercise walker thing fast enough. It kind of stunned me and honestly didnt know how to react. I just said to him no we dont bite people. In hindsight I should have said something to Mr. Brown but I didnt and that is totally on me. Fast forward, my husband takes just my son (2/2) to use our last open play of the 3 pack we were gifted. They cant find it on the account and I wasnt in a place to forward my husband the email receipt showing the open plays. Apparently my account wasnt fixed after first visit. Mr. Brown is busy holding an infant that is screaming so he cant sit and work through the issue with my husband so he just buys another one. Not a huge deal but more of an annoyance. Well my husband is texting me saying this place is crazy, no one is watching these kids, that this place is unsafe. There is a big group of parents in the back room and theyve just dropped their kids and arent paying attention to them. He mentions to me there is one kid running around with no pants and his diaper half off. He says there are two people working and one woman in the back room with these parents. Fast forward he comes home and says he is never taking our kids there again, etc. So I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and I call just to see what happened. Why there were so many kids not being attended to etc. I talked to Octavia for a solid 15 min and she talked over me the entire time. Telling me that I dont understand what it means to work with kids with special needs that I dont respect kids with special needs. (That is a big no on both accounts) That the parents in the back room were there for the first Not your average parent class which they had a bigger turnout then they expected of which I congratulated her for the success and said I thought it was a great program they were doing. But that in the future they need to have a better idea of people coming and childcare needs so they arent sacrificing the experience or safety for others paying to come play. She proceeded to tell me that the community they are continuing to foster is everyone takes care of everyones kids (even her own and her own employees) a community were her exact words. Ive never been somewhere where after paying $26 for my kids to play was also expected to watch other peoples kids.Octavia continued to talk over me saying Im just trying to get you to understand.... No, im sorry no business owner should EVER talk to a customer like that. Normally, I would give 3 chances but when it comes to the safety of my kids I will stop at 2. Im extremely sad because we really enjoyed coming here but never again with these new owners.

Held our daughters 2nd birthday party at WRTS and couldnt have been happier! The staff (Courtney and Dani) are absolutely AMAZING and did EVERYTHING for us! From unloading our car upon arrival, setting up, decorating the party room, serving the food, cake and drinks, to packing up all the gifts, cleaning up and loading the car back up!!! We literally didnt do ANYTHING but show up and walk in. We arrived as guests to our own daughters party and left as guests too! We got to relax, have fun and enjoy being with our family and friends (our guests) and celebrate with our little one; instead of being too busy to enjoy the party and people who came and miss all the fun!! All of the kids at the party had a great time... and so did the big kids too!! We Rock The Spectrum really ROCKS birthday parties too!! Thank you Courtney and Dani for making our Makenzies 2nd birthday party a fun-tastic experience!!! We highly recommend We Rock The Spectrum Kids Gym!!
