Clear pricing. Easy online scheduling. Professional service. And super cute and cozy decor. Of course, very serious about safety measures. My toes look fabulous. Cant wait to go back!
I live in Capitol Hill and will ALWAYS fit time in my schedule to make it to west Seattle for Juniper. The atmosphere, quality of care, and passion is unmatched. All of the women who work there are absolutely wonderful-I usually see Kayla and she is such an amazing nail artist and conversationalist. I’m so happy that Juniper is open again and can’t wait to get my nails done there next week!
Not only do you get epic nails, but you have a blast while doing it. They are fun professionals. Go in and find your favorite!
Love coming to Juniper for my gel manicures! The ladies are always professional, fun to talk to, and take great attention to detail and care in their work. My gel typically lasts 3 weeks, sometimes up to 4 without chipping! I️ won’t go anywhere else in Seattle (the Ballard location is awesome as well!)
In terms of consistency and customer service, this salon could really use improvement.Sometimes my polish lasts and sometimes it doesnt. On most recent visit, I was given lukewarm tea (which tasted like cream and honey in water as tea couldnt steep due to cool temperature). No big deal, but the front desk staff member who had given it to me acted incredulous when I very politely asked for hot water.Atmosphere is nice and love that they are a more natural option. Wish customer service was more on par with the price tag, though.
Visiting Juniper is such a lovely experience. The ladies really care about their customers and do everything they can to make your experience wonderful. Ive been getting the gel with nail art for a couple of months and continually get compliments on my nails. I would recommend trying chrome or foils. They also have great tea!
I want to start by saying that my friend and I really enjoyed our in-store experience at Juniper, with their super friendly nail technicians and care, but would like to express our frustration with their scheduling system. After scheduling our appointments in person, there was a miscommunication of which dates we had confirmed with the staff and we unfortunately showed up on the wrong day. We both reconfirmed our appointments on the phone but only after receiving conflicting email confirmations saying we had booked multiple treatments through various times in the afternoon. I recognize there can be misunderstandings, but it shouldn’t be so difficult to book a nail appointment, especially after having to make several calls with various staff giving us different answers. We ended up paying and leaving feeling frustrated with our experience after realizing we had been up-charged for more than the essential manicure/pedicures we were originally confirmed for. We are disappointed and hesitate to recommend this salon due to its poor front desk customer service, and again despite the rest of the technician staff’s friendliness.
My girlfriends and I came here to get our nails done for our friends wedding and had the best time here! Really loved all our nail art and just the best time chatting with the ladies who work here. We will definitely be back!!
I booked several appointments for a pre-wedding celebration. The staff at Juniper was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout my multiple phone calls and emails. Our group had a wonderful experience there - its a beautiful space, the products they use are excellent, and all of the staff members were lovely. Id highly recommend visiting Juniper.
I cant say enough positive things about my experience with Juniper, it was an all around great appointment and my technician was amazing. My original appointment had to be pushed back because of another client running late, but the new time wouldnt work for me. Since I was getting my nails done for my engagement party the next day, they offered to open early the next day to do my nails for me. I thought it was so nice of them to go the extra mile, especially since they are new and I had never been. All their products are top of the line, and local from WA which I also loved! Im excited to be a regular customer, and bring my bridal party in before the wedding!
Great spot for a mani/pedi. Clean and comfy. I can get in right away if I need to and they do online booking which is very convenient Paying too!The gals are all friendly and you just feel relaxed being there.
I just moved to Seattle and this is the first and only salon I will likely visit. I ended up missing the last online reservation so I walked down instead and asked about a walk in.I managed to get the last slot of the evening and my pedicure was done by Shelby. She was amazing. Last appointment or not she did not seem to be rushed or phased at all, the massage, maintenence and painting was done with firm, careful precision. She was a delight to talk with and I was able to really relax. My pedi came out amazing, the natural polishes come in beautiful, rich hues. All of the tools and products Shelby used seemed to be of great quality. I will be a regular for sure and return to get my nails done as well -- the level of pampering done is unreal! At the end of my pedi Christyn chimed in as well when Shelby gave me tips and a mini Welcome to the neighborhood rundown, which was so kind of them. It really is like being surrounded by your girlfriends. I need not look anywhere else for my pampering needs!
Dont have any expectations and youll get a decent pedi. Color selection blah, estheticians untrained and gossiping about nail fungus the entire time. Will go to my regular salon to get this polish off and the memory out of my head.
Really cute shop, sweet girls and great mani/pedis! Expensive, but worth it for the service and quality products they use! So happy to have found this little gem.
Amazing nail salon, great service and great technicians. Relaxing atmosphere, so many colors to choose from!
Let me just say this, I have never been to a nail salon that had such a welcoming and positive vibe atmosphere as Juniper did. My mani with Eveline was sensational and she really took the time to make sure my nails were shaped and polished like I wanted. And I can only describe my pedi with Olivia as poetic. You could tell she really cared about her customers. As I sat there, I was completely focused on the serene sensation of each stroke, the pressure was perfect, a good hurt. I was blow away. If only, if only, I didnt live in Florida, Id be always be able to go here. Definitely will be coming back next time Im in Seattle. Until then!
A natural nail bar, yes please! Had a mother daughter day, we both got pedis. It was such a treat.
Very nice, very kick back, relax place. I do plan on going back.
Based on the websites (now edited, but provable with screenshots) claim of all nail polish being not tested on animals, 100% natural, vegan and vegan approved, a vegan friend and I (also vegan) happily made an appointment for their essential manicures. Its tough to find a place to get a vegan manicure, so we were very excited! That excitement died as soon as we walked in for our appointments. My manicurist, Toni, pointed out the polishes that were specifically vegan - and at least one line of polishes that is not vegan. My friend and I were instantly put off - we picked Juniper because they claimed, as you can see from the direct quotes above, that all polishes are vegan. We considered walking out due to this dishonesty (my friend called it the bait and switch), but we were already there and Juniper has a hefty penalization for late cancellation. The manicures were nice enough. I had a matte top coat on mine, which wore off within a day and left me with the traditional shiny nail, so that was a disappointment, but I liked the glitter Toni did on two of my nails. My friends polish was already 25% gone by the end of the day but she enjoyed the color while it lasted.I spend a lot of time researching vegan, animal testing-free products, and I follow multiple sources certifying the vegan and cruelty-free statuses of beauty products. Its unfortunately true that some of the polishes that Juniper carries are neither vegan nor certified cruelty-free/not tested on animals (just two examples: CND is not verified vegan - their vinylux is not at all vegan - nor cruelty-free and is owned by a company that tests on animals; Eminence is not a vegan line and is not certified cruelty-free). We greatly appreciate the heads-up from Toni, and our appointment was pleasant, but the misleading advertising and the questionable vetting of products by the owner means we wont be returning. The search for a truly cruelty-free manicure in Seattle continues.Additionally: The owner of Juniper, Tiann Stubberfield, has threatened to take legal action - for slander - against me and a friend for our honest, factual, but one-star, reviews. Of course its not slander if its true, but that shed threaten it says a lot about what kind of person she is.Furthermore, her employee, Kelly Ornstein, combed my personal Instagram page and took screencaps of my photos/posts to use as weapons against me. Im not sure to what end, but what shes actually done is violate my privacy and attempted to attack me for having a disability/disease. Trying to weaponize someones personal posts - especially those about living with illness/disability! - is morally indefensible. This is what kind of company Juniper is. Steer clear, friends.
Great non toxic nail care!
This place has basic facilities and a nice atmosphere but did a rushed job and it was not really all that good. I would not recommend going here if you have other options.
Evelyn is the best.
Always great!
