When my laptop fell out of my bag, I was so distraught, but George was so responsive and efficient that it was up and running in about 24hrs. Incredible! I will definitely be coming back if ever I have computer issues!

I called ahead to see if they could help me with a jammed USB port and he told me to swing by. It was tricky, but he was able to fix it within a few minutes and didnt charge me. Super quick and a friendly experience. Thanks for the help, George!

Awesome repair shop. My gaming computer started shutting down randomly. They diagnosed it and built me a new computer(since my motherboard ended up causing the issue) and waved the diagnostic fee. The parts they chose were respectful of my budget and they reused some of the parts from my previous computer like I asked. Plus they threw in some fans for free(as my previous cooling setup was definitely laughable). Also the turn around time was only like 2 days for them to diagnose and build a new computer. During that time they use text message communication so we dont have to play phone tag. They saved me a lot of headaches. Will definitely return. Thanks guys!

I took my laptop in for a battery replacement. I was told 24hrs was needed to make sure battery was good and they will run a diagnostic. It was an 8 month old battery out of a new laptop. I called two days later and was td that they are hammering out the new windows installation on the new hard drive. What what!? My hard drive was showing wear and haveing control issues. The cost went from 80 to 340.0. I never said yes to the new hardware or software. 1 week later, I still have not got call that it is done.

My PC was broke. They fixed it, just as advertised.

Took my laptop here to get repaired.was charged for a bunch of parts and labor that i didnt need.took a month to get just a partial refund.DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Brought my laptop here in the spring because it was crashing and dying and this place was close by. He seemed nice enough and competent (I know nothing about computers so I have no basis for evaluating this). I was busy when he called to check in about what needed to be fixed so instead of waiting to clear it with me he did what needed to be done and told me I owed over $350 for it all. I was a bit upset about this and not being able to say yes or no to this. When I expressed this he said he could undo it all if I wanted (very snarky). So of course I paid. The a month or two later my battery stopped working. My laptop was also not running as well as expected after paying as much as I did to fix it. I mentioned this and he offered to run diagnostics but of course that would cost me another $50 (what!?). So I just asked for a new battery, he looked and said he couldnt find any good brands but bought what he could (reassuring), I was charged $35 and was on my way a few days later when it came in. Two months later the battery already stopped working. I emailed about it and he said to bring it in. I did, he gave me attitude yet again because I didnt want to leave my laptop with him yet again (Im a grad student and kinda need it), just for a battery issue after he already diagnosed it on the spot when it immediately shuts off after being unplugged, pretty obvious. Bottom line: this person (George) has been very rude to me several times and the low quality of service does not make up for it. I will not be returning.

So I hadnt built my own rig in 5 years, and I thought Id give it a shot. Wife said Um... honey, are you sure you know what youre doing?Piece of cake, I say.So the cake was crow flavored - I was able to get it put together and running fine, but there was, well, no picture. Nothing on the monitor. Nada. Zip. Lights and fans were working,, humming along happily, but nothing else. My Google searches and awesome computer-oriented friends couldnt figure it out... I thought I was going to have to ship it all back and get a prebuilt.I decided to try our local fix-it guy.I called first and he told me to come on in. he spent about ten minutes fiddling with it, and voila- it worked. It was amazing to see; Im sure he was rolling his eyes at my incompetence, but I didnt care.He did the job, did it well with professionalism and speed, and I am extremely grateful that they are around.Came back in 2 years later due to dead graphics card, and he set me straight for a fair price.Thank you, computer dude!

Gorge helped me today I feel as he gave me good information about my issue and I feel like he basically saved me money. I’ll use PC Fix for everything computer related. I’ll be personally referring people to these guys from here on out.

They charge $165 for a blue screen repair, said it was NOT an easy fix. I called PC repair in shoreline, they said no problem, easy fix, $40.PC fix Ballard claims they have competitive pricing, I beg to differ.

After weeks of waiting for them to contact me about a hard drive data transfer, I called for the job status. I was told their system failed to contact me. No discount just sorry. A computer repair shop with a broken computer? We wont be back.

Tim was great!  He came out quickly and ran tests on our  newer laptops that were crashing when CAD was being used. He was unable to fix them but gave me the test results to use with Dell in resolving the issues.  It was great having the information to share with Dell, so they wouldnt continue to try to rip us off with bad computers.  Dell is replacing 2 bad mother boards.  I highly recommend PC Fix!

We took an old tower into the shop, and David was great. Our tower was so dusty it was embarrassing and he cleaned it out for us. Because he couldnt get the motherboard to launch (liquid cooler was dead) he didnt charge us for his time. He had some good insights while we figure out how much effort is worth it.

Took my computer in because my screen was broken, the tech explained all my options and various scenarios that could be wrong with it. Expecting the worst, I got a call less than 2 hrs later and it was fixed! And it was exactly the price he quoted for the particular problem.

I was very pleased with my experience with David at PCFix in Ballard. I have an ancient XP machine that I wanted to keep running for awhile longer. Didnt want to boot. David took on the challenge with gusto, and, voila, its up and running like a champ. When it does die, will purchase my next computer at PCFix in Ballard. Good morning there is any of PC fix I really enjoy everybodys business at the Lake city store and of Ballard store. I wish there was a way that I can help out why answering the phone with my cell phone until you guys open. It is just a thought?I wanted to say thank you to the Lake city store for protecting my computer like the technician did the technician did a wonderful job on working on my computer system. It turns out all I downloaded a Firefox update. Do not download the Firefox update version what happened to me. It took my computer off-line and I was not a happy camper until I turned to the Lake city store in the technician got my computer back to normal operations for some reason my taskbar was changed to a different settings and I get in touch it but if it wasnt for the technician I thank him very much for finding a system restore… That I forgot I had in my system and he found it and ran it, and brought my system to operations thank you again Lake city for doing a wonderful job of protecting my machine I have been a member of PC fix for 5 to 7 years and Ive never been happier with the technicians I talked to on the phone I wish there is no way I can give you guys 10 start for outstanding service everybody at PC fix means a lot to me you guys are like big brothers to me and family!
