This contractor is building a house in my neighborhood. This morning I woke up to them cutting a hole in the small neighborhood road to repair a water main under a road easement through our property at 7:30am, without our permission! Theyre doing this of course after having driven heavy trucks up and down this driveway road not meant for such weighted vehicles over more than a year. Those vehicles have already most likely damaged one water pipe in the road, costing us over $3,700 to repair. When I asked what was going on, and why they were working so early? I was told that city ordinance allows them to be disrespectful to their customers neighbors this early in the morning and that because they had the right to have no conscience nor courtesy about offending the peace of the neighbors who have tried to be patient and respectful during this LONG construction period which has relentlessly disrupted our quiet neighborhood that they can do what they are doing. They think that by saying they are sorry it excuses their disrespect and offense when their experience as contractors should have taught them to behave with care but, this is not the case. Clearly, they take liberty because they can get away with it and offense is not their concern!
