Had Fox Plumbing installed split unit AC for my house. They are very responsive to address all my concerns. Terrin and his team is very friendly and showed up on time and worked very efficiently! 5 star service!

We have used Fox plumbing and heating for several issues in the last 10 years. Mostly plumbing but I’ve also used them for heat pump issues. Our air conditioning broke end of June and technician Shelby came out middle of July. He informed us that there was very likely a leak in the system. He said he didn’t know where the leak was. One option was to do a diagnostic, which would not guarantee that the leak would be found, and would cost $800. The other option would be to repair all the copper lines which would cost over $4000. However he said that this also would not guarantee to fix to the problem. I felt really uncomfortable with this and got a second opinion from a different company. This company just came out and found that the motor within the furnace had broken. The motor flushes air through the system and as it wasn’t working the air conditioning coolant was sitting on top of the coil and not getting into the house. This company said that replacing the copper lines is rarely if ever done and that was an unusual plan to fix the system. Why Shelby didn’t determine that the motor was broken is unclear to me.When Fox Plumbing was out in July, they also said that we needed a new furnace within a couple months. This other company said that we have at least a few more years if not more on it- it was placed 2009.I have never doubted Fox Plumbing before but now I really wonder how much they are over pricing and Failing to diagnose problems correctly in other customers houses. Perhaps they were better at the plumbing aspect but I would absolutely not use them for any air-conditioning or heating problems you have.

BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES AND OVERPRICED SERVICES. Contacted them to do a deep clean on my mini split unit. When the technician arrived, he said he didnt have the tools to do a deep clean, which was unbelievable! He then charged me $170 for his trip to my home and diagnosing the problem. I was not even aware of this $170 diagnostic fee, in fact I shopped around and avoided companies that charged such fees. Spoke to the manager to get a refund and he apparently reviewed the recording of my call and said I was notified of this fee, but very suspicious of this recording since I was not allowed to review it myself. Furthermore, I was quoted $800 for the deep clean, which is a separate fee from the $170. Happy to say I didnt choose them for the job. I eventually found an honest accredited company who did the job and charged me $400 for the job. They swindled me for my $170, but I was glad I didnt give this sketchy company any more business.

Water heater went out on the 4th of July of all times, was leaking from the drain and started flooding the downstairs. Luckily we caught it just in time and no damage to walls or carpet. They told me since it was a holiday and getting late it would be a higher price for them to come out. Thats understandable as someone thats working during holidays instead of being with their families, should get compensation. Tyler told me what I could do to stop or slow the leak. It worked enough to get me until Wednesday. This saved me a few bucks by not having to payfor an emergency call and I really appreciate that Tyler doing that for me. Heater is now replaced and working great. Very professional work, new fittings and hoses and he cleaned up after the work was done. Very happy with Fox Plumbing with their response and help throughout the process.

They helped us with a remodel. Shifting pipes up between joists (so we can raise the ceiling), moving all the plumbing in a wall, roughing-in a new bathroom and a few other odds and ends. Great job! We had an unusual emergency that Fox plumbing helped us solve. Lauren dispatched Mike after hours to remove our water heater, which our cat was trapped behind, injured, weak, and afraid. After being turned away by non-emergency, 911, Canopy Cats, Washington Animal Response Team, and two other plumbing agencies, Mike came to our rescue. He was expedient, efficient, compassionate, and kind, and was the only one who would help us after hours of futile attempts and rejections. Everything was disassembled and put back together perfectly, and in only about an hour all together. We are very grateful for their service, and will never forget this act of kindness. To Lauren and Mike, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Luckily he discovered our warranty was good for only 20 more days and was able to get the part ordered and under warranty before it expired saving us $1100! Shonda and Theresa also made sure we got the repair scheduled before the warranty was up in case there were any other issues to be found after the control board was replaced so we could get those parts ordered under warranty. Reasonable prices and great people, very highly recommend fox!

We had Fox install a new gas furnace and AC system in our home. Im an engineer so I had a million questions and asked for about 12 different quotes for different configuration. Shane Patterson was extremely responsive, super friendly, and very detailed in his explanation and quotes for all hardware and services. We iterated for well over a month until I was happy and Shane never once expressed frustration over the decision process. The system was installed very professionally and cleanly. I highly recommend Fox for HVAC system design and installation.

Our hot water heater went out one week before we were moving. I called Fox Plumbing and much to my relief, they came the next day. The water heater was on an elevated platform, but it was no challenge for Konrad Rath. Young guy was working by himself - he just climbed up there, took it apart and had the new one installed in no time. Also found out he was scheduled to have the day off, but was on call. So essentially, we wrecked his day off, but he took it all in stride. Nice kid, great personality and a helluva worker. I know who Im calling next time around. Thanks Fox.

I appreciate them taking care of the mistake, but the stack of mistakes leave it difficult for me to recommend anyone ever use Fox for any heating, cooling, plumbing servicesContracted Fox to install some house AC units and a furnace replacement. It seemed to go fine, until a week after the install, the ceiling of my bedroom became a soggy mess. There was an incorrect installation of the evaporation line, so the attic was now part time swimming pool.. and the pool began to leak.They came out and repaired the issue....Then a few hours later, I hear dripping. Turns out when repairing the issue, another component was shifted, resulting in further water drips.They came out and repaired the issue, and paid to re-drywall the ceiling of one room.

Furnace quit. Fox technician Shelby came out the next morning, identified the wiring problem, and provided a temporary fix until he could return and rewire in a day or two. Polite, respectful, thorough. Glad to have him do the repair rather than the original installation company that just could not seem to get it right.

We had Fox Plumbing come and perform an emergency hot water tank leak in our crawl space of our rental. They were very pleasant to schedule the job and the crew were all friendly and great to work with. Their pricing was very fair and we would use them again. Reason for the 1 star deduction was for the after care with Chad ( I think that was his name) for dealing with a concern I had from my upset tenant when his food was spoiled from the team failing to turn the breaker back on. Chad said it was not their responsibility to turn the breaker back on since they didnt turn it off initially. When in fact they had requested our electrician to turn off the power, so they wouldnt get electrocuted during the job. when my husband asked them to make sure they turned breakers back on, they assured him they did, which this was incorrect.

Our shower knob broke and the water was still running, we couldn’t find the way to shut off the water. Alec fixed the problem quickly and gave us tips for the future. We were grateful for the help.

They installed a new Carrier furnace in my home. Very professional with great communication. Area left very clean and they observed all Covid protocols. They were able to get my new furnace quickly installed so I could have heat again!!

Reached out to Fox because I was without heat. I first used their online interface to submit my contact info and explanation of my issues, thinking I would get a call come the next business day. Instead, come Monday I get a nondescript e-mail telling me to call them. Yeah, thats super helpful. I reached out on the phone and the gal on the other end was friendly enough, but I had to re-explain everything I typed out the night before. Told her it was an emergency as I dont want to be without heat for any longer than absolutely necessary. She said she would forward my info to the appropriate team. I asked her when I could expect a response, but she said it was dependent on the team. It has been 3 days now and I havent even received a call back. For an emergency service, I would have expected better. Even if they didnt have anybody available, they could have at least reached out and said something. Ended up going with Gene Johnson and while they didnt have anybody available right away, they set me up with an appointment and took care of me.

We had a leak from the upstairs bathroom that caused a drip into the downstairs. Fox arranged an afternoon appointment and called to ask to move it earlier! They sent Fate, who diagnosed the problem as a leaky toilet, explained it clearly, and fixed it quickly. Since it was an installation issue, he stayed to check the downstairs as well. He was very nice and was very careful with clean-up as well. Fox is the only plumbing company we’re going to use going forward.

My service waterline (between meter & house) had a leak that ended up being under a large tree and therefore irreparable. Fox plumbing offered a good price to re-run a new waterline to avoid the tree roots. Their guys did a fantastic job and were able to save my well established plants & landscaping with minimal impact. Shelby Whaley came to our house and he was beyond professional and trustworthy. He immediately diagnosed the problem and called the supplier while he was here to see how long it would take to get a replacement motor. They told him two days and he scheduled me for two days later to come back and install the motor. The new motor actually showed up to their office the following morning so he moved his schedule around to fit us in the same day. He came right back out and changed the motor and my family once again had heat! After going through a freezing weekend it was a huge help to have him get it replaced as soon as possible. I am a very cautious person be nature but I would be more than happy to have Shelby Whaley working at our house in the future, he was that professional and courteous.

I had an emergency situation with a clogged toilet leaking into my ceiling and light fixtures on the floor below. Fox sent out Wayne, he was awesome, he got it fixed quickly and he didn’t try to sell me on a new toilet or anything I didn’t need. Its been almost 3 years since we got our gas furnace serviced, and after I called the last company that serviced it, I actually found out that they stopped servicing furnaces... so I had to call around to find an alternative company. Finding a company that serviced furnaces and that was available took a bit of searching. Finally, I came across Fox and got an appointment scheduled within one day, specifically a 2 hour window today. The technician, Shelby, called about an hour before the scheduled time, and mentioned that he could arrive early, which worked out fine. Shelby showed up with a mask, was super friendly, brought his tools inside, and got to work. I had a bunch of questions for Shelby about our furnace, about replacing a large tank water heater with a tankless unit, and even replacing the furnace. He thoroughly answered my questions, had great recommendations, gave me a quote for a tankless heater, and by the end of his visit and service, told me our 11 year old furnace was in excellent shape and nothing was needed at this time. Also, I paid 1/2 the price for the service that I paid 3 years ago and that was great. Overall, Im glad I found Fox plumbing and heating, I will surely call them again for future work, and I highly recommend them.

I never had to wonder what he was doing, as he clearly explained precisely what his next steps were at each stage in the process. I felt informed and well in-the-loop the entire time. Home repair gone wrong was quickly fixed by Fox employee Max. In a very short period of time he replaced broken copper pipe installed new shutoff, tested and restored running water from under the house and under the kitchen sink. I had called multiple plumbers but none were available, based on good reviews I called Fox and was happy that they could come that day to my rental house and resolve the problem. Highly recommend this company and employee Max.

We have contacted Fox for an emergency service since one of our pipe burst and needed immediate maintenance. The technician walked into our house with no mask and no shoe covers. During this time (covid-19) we certainly hope that Fox are taking precaution and arrange preventive gears to take care of their workers and customers?It took Wayne 15 minutes to put only a stopper on the pipe and he came back and informed us the charges was $500! Wayne said he disagreed with the company surcharge policy and we can call to talk to someone. The telephone representative who picked up our call should have informed us about the weekend surcharges.We made a mistake by not communicating prior the technician started to work.I could have put a stopper ourselves and wait till Monday to fix the pipe in order to save $200 plus surcharge. What came to our surprises was, Wayne said the job was not done and will return on Monday and we had to pay additional $327 for another hour of work....so estimated $800+ for a small job.I called Fox right away to follow up on my case since what happened was not right. My experience changed from this point onwards, Kat the telephone representative was very professional and passed our case to her Manager to follow up immediately. Chad the Manager sent us another technician Rick, he fixed everything without additional charges. Chad listened to us and explained where was the problem and try to rectified the issues. He certainly showed that he cares and try to make amend.When Rick returned he followed all the protocol wore face masks and shoe covers....did everything he can to reverse the damage. I had to say the job was nicely done!I decided to rewrite my review here since we all made mistakes. What we valued is the follow up actions and this is how they stands on the market for 50 years.I will recommend to always ask the questions and found out what is required for completing the job up front.It is always important to make things clear, in the end it is both customer and contractor responsibility.

Fox was the only company to have an appointment within a week for heating troubles. Daniel came out to diagnose and discovered the problem. He was very professional and helpful. Only drawback from FOX is that a 15 minute or so We are on the way call wouldve been nice.
