This is an awful dealership w awful customer service! They sold a car out from under me after promising to hold it until Monday. I had to leave town for an emergency my grandfather was in his last days and I spoke directly to finance manager and asked several times to clarify that yes they would be holding it for me. He gave me his word. I offered to hold with a deposit they said not necessary. I had sold my car that day so was planning on having a car to pick up Monday morning. I messaged my salesman Monday morning to set up a time to pick up my new car. I was then told it had been sold my they would look for a better one for me and give it to me for the same price. I was never contacted by the manager or my salesman about a replacement which was definitely known they would not be able to find in today’s market. They knew exactly what they were doing ! Awful. Two weeks later I still have no car and had to take an u we to my grandfathers funeral. They never offered me a rental in the meantime or anything! Customer service rating is actually a negative!

I got there early just to be on the safe side. Was told it was a good thing I got there early because I had 2 recalls. They took my car back to do the oil change and the 2 recalls. An hour and so later the very nice lady came out and told me the tech did my oil change but didnt look at the order and see that there was 2 recalls. One of which would take over an hour. So needless to say I did not get the recalls taken care of and now I will taking my car to another dealer to have this fixed. I drove 32 miles from my house just to get it done where I bought my car.

First of all, you need to know that Ryan Delgado gave me his business card one day when I thought no one would bother me. I kept his card and went back there twice, this time buying a car like I looked at last November. Ryan has been up to speed on everything. Your staff is courteous as well. I felt like the welcome wagon was there for me. My grandson has been speaking to Ryan as well about a pickup. Its all good.

This is the third time Im very frustrated with the service never go back again i will change location for my truck service next time. first time the left grease in my leather seat, second time they charge twise same service, third time drop my truck Sunday night for service on Monday, Monday they never did the job, Tuesday the service was done and nobody call me, Wednesday still nobody call me, the truck done and nobody call me until I walk to the dealer

I needed an oil change and tire rotation. I didnt have an appointment and they were completely booked. The manager went to the back and one of the mechanics was nice enough to put off his lunch and service my car. They really went above and beyond to get my car serviced. I have moved and live in another state now. I hope I can find a Buick dealership as good as Hertrich Buick GMC, Inc.

They first time visit for this guy. I received a coupon via the mail, so I took advantage of it. My experience was Very Nice. I felt that the service in question however, took a little longer than needed. The only reason Im bringing this up is I use to work for a GMC, Buick, Pontiac Dealership and Maybe it was just Our Guys, but what I had done, they would have done much faster. Other then that, The People were very friendly and took good care of me and My Old Truck. Thank You Again for the discounted service. Just might see you again in 5000 miles!

I’m located in NJ and found a vehicle on the website i loved. I called and was referred to Melvin, he answered all my millions of questions and made the process very easy! SERVICE DEPT HAS SERIOUS ISSUES- I took my Acadia to Hertrichs for several repairs and spent over $13k. One of my main concerns was that it was raining and dripping water in my car. I was advised that certain instruments did not work and I was informed that I needed to replace 2 modules that were over $900/each, which I authorized. The service dept also recommended that I get a water test performed by there go to- which is The Water Doctors, which again I authorized. I was i formed that I needed to replace the sunroof, which was almost $1k, which I authorized. Well all this started in Dec. 2020 or Jan. 2021. Well, to date, I have taken my vehicle back approx. 4-5 times for the same issue, water leaking in the vehicle, and the issue is still mot fixed even though it was guaranteed!! I was told, which I have receipts to prove, that if those expensive modules got wet and malfunctioned, if the items suggested, were not repaired, their warranty would not cover them. SO BUYER BEWARE!!!! Now I have to contact and hire an attorney because Hertrichs Service Dept. is not trying to stand by their word!!!! Be careful and always make sure that you get your info in writting!!! They will promise you the world but do not live up to their word/ performance

This place is horrible took 2 1/2 months to get my tags. Was forced into services like oil change and inspection that cost $600 for them not to top off my fluids not to mention it was a quart low on oil. I was told I bought it as is and was not their problem. Last time I checked an oil change at most cost $100. Then I was buying the car as is but they forced me to pay for taxes and tags. A week later I had to call and ask when they planned on taking it to inspection just to have them say that it was my responsibility because I bought it as is and I didn’t pay for taxes and tags. I had to take the payment sheet to prove that I paid for taxes and tags for them to even handle it it was still give an attitude and then we had to end up taking a thorough inspection ourselves.When my temp tag was About to die the new girl Tony was blaming it on the old girl saying there were issues and she couldn’t handle the job and that she had only been there for two weeks. At this point I hadn’t got my tags and it had been two months since I originally purchased the car that was two weeks ago. I called everybody including the general manager to try to figure out what was going on I have had problems from the beginning including the guy that I was signing my papers with kept falling asleep while signing the papers. All I kept getting was sorry sorry sorry’s nobody wants sorrows with that much aggravation. Finally got my tags today 2 1/2 months after originally purchasing the car just to find out they’re only tagged it for one year. I looked at the papers in the sales and saw they charge me $900 to tie my car for one year. After all my aggravation all they could tell me was sorry and tag my car for one year. Horrible customer service horrible people in the middle the lights that shine there the good workers are dimmed out by the people and the higher up there aren’t willing to do what it takes to make things right.

I saw an ad online for a used Jeep. I contacted the dealership, confirmed availability, then drove 41 miles to test drive the car. All was well. The salesman was all smiles and promises. We even agreed to a price. The issues started when I was told that I could NOT get it registered to my home address because my license was out of state (military). Then I was told to keep them from selling the Jeep, I could place a deposit on the vehicle for the three days necessary to get my license reflecting my home address. Wrong again. They then REQUIRED that I PURCHASE the car (sign all the paperwork), shy of making payment due to the holiday, until banks opened...when I could wire funds but that they would still be pulling my credit to verify my identity even though this was a CASH transaction, they had my license AND passport....realize, they WERE NOT releasing the car to me. I did NOT take possession. Then they said because I wired funds from a joint account that they would REQUIRE my FOURTEEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER (other name on account) to be on the title and they would have to pull her credit...once again, to verify her identity, even though she is LEGALLY INCAPABLE OF ENTERING A CONTRACT. The owner finally got fed up with me questioning the ridiculousness of his policies and cancelled the sale. I am STILL fighting to get my SEVENTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS BACK!!!! NEVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!

Will and Tyler were both great. They went beyond what I was asking for. Very happy with my purchase and my experience until it comes to the service department. Horrible. I have gone there for 3 service covered issues, all the same problem, and not once has it been taken care of properly. This last visit left us with a 600 bill from an actual dealership that has competent people servicing their customers vehicles. The part that Hertrich put on my car was not even for the model. It wasnt even close.To top it off, try getting anywhere with any of these folks. From the manager of the dealership to my salesman, and everyone in between, they let you talk and assure you they will look into it but thats all you get. Unless you talk to the service manager, then youre in for a rude, unprofessional and incompetent talking down to from someone that shouldnt be trusted to color pictures of cars let alone work on them.

Wait was about 6 hours while we were there. Set on a specific car and at the end of everything, we werent eligible for that car. So they decided to sell us the EXACT same car from another lot, but it would be a few days to get it. Fast forward 3 days we get a call saying we can come get the car. We get there, and the car were picking up is the one we were not eligible for. So the paperwork had to be redone AGAIN. And instead of going through any possible changes, they said Its less than the other car. Stupid me didnt realize the interest rate went from 5.99% to 10.99%. Thats my fault for not looking, Ill own that. Fast forward a month and still no tags for the car. Delays with the MVA, well just give you another temp tag. Love the car, no complaints about it, but I will NEVER buy another car here. Very hush hush lets see what we can get away with.

On October 1, 2014 I brought my first vehicle from the sales rep AL at Hertrich. He did a great job at explaining every step of the process. Actually ended up financing the car in less then a hour. The staff are very professional, friendly and do a phenomenal job at selling vehicles. I would recommend buying a vehicle from them any day! Ask for AL!

I think our car buying experience here was the fastest, easiest and more than fair car buying experience weve ever had. I made an inquiry about a vehicle I saw online. I got an immediate response and the name of a sales person. When we got there, without an appointment, they held the door open and somehow knew we were there for a particular car. Perry was awesome, Frank was awesome, the manager was awesome. Very respectful, quick and efficient. Seriously - these guys were great. We got more than we expected for our trade-in and our payment is under what we expected. We also got an unexpected 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty on a pre-owned car. We will definitely be back when its time to buy another car.

My sales consultant Jack Hudson helped me find my new Buick Verano, which turned out to work very well for me. I traded in a older Buick Lacrosse and Im very much impressed with all the new conveniences in this one. I really like the backup camera and wish Id one sooner.

Went in for an emergency wheel hub replacement. Before they got started they were NICE enough to bring me my cabin and engine air filter as part of their courtesy several point inspection. Price for filters, $39 and $69. I asked them to blow them off and put them back. A few days later when I got the new filters at 1/2 the price the dealership quoted I opened the cabin filter to find that they put it back in with all the lint and debris that was on it when they showed it to me. Engine filter was the same. Pretty disappointing that I just spent almost $700 for the wheel hub repair and rotor resurfacing, and because I was trying to be frugal with what was left of my vacation funds, they pulled a stunt like that. I know my service dept. in Maine would not have done that. And furthermore will likely tell me how to make an official complaint GM. If not for that stunt, I would have rated the service much better.

Every time Ive interacted with anyone from the dealership Ive always received great service. I drive an hour to this location all because I know I will get great customer service. There is a Hertrich 5 mins from my house and I ONLY go there if I have to (slow leak in my tire etc.). Their service is nothing compared to the Seaford location. I will continue to do business with this location as long as I have the option.
