They are very friendly, effective & do a great job. The facility is really pretty too & very well kept. Their booking calendar system & reminders is really efficient & easy too.

Please be wary, especially if you are new to waxing. I was pressured into a membership where they scheduled appointments far too frequently for my skin type. Youd think they would be aware of my sensitive skin since we discussed it during every appointment. When my skin broke out with acne, they insulted me and suggested I buy more products, which ultimately made my skin much worse. I spent hundreds of dollars there, and was only refunded a $25 product when they made an array of mistakes. I left feeling very upset and insecure. When I spoke to the manager on the phone regarding my concerns, she blamed everything on one of her employees and suggested I buy more products. I decided to stop using their products altogether, cancelled my membership, and my skin suddenly cleared up. Im hoping the acne scars will go away soon as well. Be careful!

I had a great experience at Wax City. I was visiting from the Bay Area, CA. I google Places like EWC and Wax City came up. I very easily booked my appointment online. They sent a conformation email right after and a text 24 hours before. I replied with a Y to confirm. Once there, I was greeted and filledout the form about my skin and signed tehe consent form. My waxer was great. I booked an underarm wax. *PSA ladies if you havent adopted this wax as apart of your monthly hair removal I HIGHLY suggest it.She did sections and not one big strip a few times, which MADE A HGE DIFFERENCE. I love how it feels and looks. Man I wish I lived here now.I highly recommend.

Ive been going here for a couple of years and am still happy with the quality and service. I actually bought their package which saves a little money in the long run and when I come in I dont have to check out. They just deduct one visit, I schedule the next one and Im out. Its a little pricey up front but its nice not to have to include the visits in the budget. I saw Megan for a long time and lately have been seeing Hannah. Both very friendly ladies who are good at their jobs! The front desk girls are always welcoming and friendly too. Very happy going here.

I just got a Brazilian from Hannah for the first time. I can not even explain how comfortable she made me feel and how easy she was to talk to. It was as painless as it can be, and she was very good at explaining what she was doing and what my after care should be. I will definitely be a regular customer!

I went here for the first time today for a brazilian, brow and lip wax. Megan was thorough and friendly, easy to talk to and made the process comfortable. I highly recommend her and have already scheduled my next appointment! Plus they offer water and a cleansing wipe. I had a much better experience here than I ever did at another wax center!

Elizabeth was amazing!!Only the 2nd time I have gotten a bikini wax and I was super nervous because my 1st time years ago at a spa I worked at was horrible and painful .The 1st experience was so bad it turned me off of waxing altogether.But Elizabeth changed my negative view on waxing for good.She put me at ease, was professional and made my bikini Hawaii ready.The pain was so minimal that Im actually looking forward to seeing her again.1st time clients get half price so you cant beat that.Also the facility was clean and had plenty of parking which is a huge bonus.Great experience all around.If youre lucky enough to get Elizabeth make the appointment, she wont disappoint..

I went to waxing the city for the first time today. I figured that as a waxing specialty business, I was guaranteed at least a decent eye brow and nose/nostril waxing. Scheduling was easy and staff was friendly upon entering. Everything was clean and professional.So why the 1 star review? I was told my waxing specialist had a client right after me and I could tell she seemed rushed. Not a big deal as long as the outcome is fine. However, in her rush she got a big glob of wax on my shirt. Oh well, not a huge deal. Then she go wax on half of the right side of my mustache while attempting to wax my nares. Either she did not notice it or did not take the time to correct the wax, she ripped off the top half of my right mustache. I immediately could tell something was wrong. I asked if she had waxed off my mustache, to which she said yeah, im sorry. We wont charge you for that. REALLY?!?!? I dont care if you pay me $1000! You just ripped off half my mustache!!! Ive had a heavy 5 oclock shadow for the past 5-8 years and havent shaved my face in that time. I am now forced to either walk around town looking like an idiot with an asymmetrical face, or shave off my facial hair which I have not done in years.Ive been having facial hair waxed for the last 10 years and I have never had such a horrible outcome. The waxing specialist was apologetic and she got her manager at the end of my appointment without me having to ask to speak to the manager. The manager was also very apologetic and did not charge me for any of the services. I appreciate that they acknowledged the wrong and apologized, but that doesnt put hair back on my face where it is supposed to be. And there is no easy solution to fix it.Im writing this review 3 hours later and the mustache area is still oozing a little blood.I would not recommend this place to anyone and I have already had 2 friends ask me what happened and at what business. Im beyond annoyed and frustrated with the error they made. Id look to other waxing business before even considering this place.
