My experience goes back to 1980 prior to our moving here. I have not had a poor experience in over 40 years. They have resolved many situations.They listen, they try and when something could not be done they try again. When I say, could not be done, regulations had not permitted it. No fault of theirs. When I experienced a carrier situation they worked on it and end result was a superb carrier, Rudy. He is hard working, conscientious, accurate and likes his career with USPS.

I am Susan Nicholson at 6950 E. Loma land Drive 85257We have not had a permanent mailman in a long time. I just met a mail carrier named Ranell who is doing our neighborhood today. It’s only her fourth day but she shows such care and concern for making sure that everything went well. I only had a moment to talk with her but she seems like such a nice person. I have tried to stay patient but this has been rough rollercoaster. I had two packages for delivery and was told 3 times it was unable to deliver due to me not being at the location which I knew wasnt possible as I have a small store and I am only one there. So gathered the mail man is going to the wrong suite. After filling a case, I get an email saying the key is in my mail box, it wasnt which further proved mail man is delivering to the wring box, I tried waving him down to talk to him no go, they once called me and as I was with a customer I couldnt answer but called them back 1 min later and then apparently it was closed... It was 15:45 and it closes at 16:30. I am anxious as my packages are very expensive and I have no access to them.

Dont call, these guys are swamped everyday from the moment they open the doors. That being said I think some people should know better. Show up with a bad attitude and they will reciprocate. These guys are a solution based team. They dont have time for your story. They dont care about your story. They want to solve the problem and get you out of there as quickly as possible. I absolutely love it.

This location is convenient, (Old Brueners), for So. Scottsdale. It has good parking and a drive-up mail drop. During this year of COVID they have continued to be kind, efficient and helpful as always.* This location could use another open window during peak times, however. Otherwise 5 stars.

Kiosk was acting up and charged my card without giving me my stamps. Technology issues. They had already closed for the day but I kindly called over the barricade asking if someone could help. Two people rushed to help me out and one employee gave me a stack of stamps from the back even though I only paid for two. Excellent service!

The ABSOLUTE WORST. They NEVER answer the phone.So I received an alert that my package was delivered this morning and then go to the mailbox and NOTHING was in the mailbox. I would gladly pay extra to have UPS or FedEx delivery my Amazon packages because this post office is completely incapable. They ignore redelivery requests 100% of the time, not once have they redelivered an item to me. They either wait until you come in to get it in person, or they return it to the sender, they cant be bothered to do their jobs. Even when they call to confirm that a package will be delivered that day, it never is. They are the one and only downside to having this area code.

Had an issue with a package that was dropped off there - tried calling the direct line 4 times, rings and rings until it just hangs up on you.Updated 26 May 2020 - So the big push is to do stuff online, and drop things off after hours to be more convenient. Yeah, this would work IF the drop off box wasnt jammed up EVERY SINGLE TIME I go. Convenient this is not, not to mention the extra trip down there. If anything, this is a bigger waste of time.

I havent received mail in almost a month despite 2 tickets (the first was marked as resolved after one day, i was told I have mail when I do not), multiple attempts of phone calls (nobody ever answers), a ticket with the BBB and 2 requested re-deliveries on packages. This is now my 2nd and 3rd package to go missing and Ive had my last ticket open for over a week with zero response that anyone is handling it.I did my address change before I moved, I put the slip in my mailbox 2 weeks ago, my latest ticket is untouched and I not to. I just want my mail. This is so frustrating.Now they have closed my second case without contacting me..If you wouldnt treat your own family this way I do not understand why you would do it to anyone else.Just desperately trying anything to get this resolved at this point.

I never leave reviews, good or bad, preferring to deal with companies or representatives personally. However, I felt compelled to leave this one because there is no personalized service for ANY USPS location, including their so-called Customer Support. Its all automated and unhelpful. Ive spent the last few days looking for a package that was lost somewhere in one of the local facilities, but I cannot get a customer service representative on the phone to try to track it down, and calling the direct number for this location has resulted in being hung up on 5x now. I understand and appreciate the difficulties surrounding the current COVID crisis, and that packages may be delayed, but theres no reason for them to be delayed 6 days without any way to figure out why. And this package is perishable, which means that if it finally arrives, I wont be able to actually use it, especially given AZ heat in the summer. This package is a lost cause, but Im now worried that this issue will affect other packages that Im still waiting for and which I ordered before I realized that the local USPS office cant handle on time deliveries right now.

This is the worst post office in America. They lost a 70$ one month bus pass that is sent to me every month for doctors appointments and ever since this issue they have been making things difficult for me. I never reported a possible theft or put them down in any way. Since then they have lost a birthday card I sent to my grandfather with a hand written letter inside. It never made it to him or back to me. I just sent another card and letter to my Grandpa who is 90 also to my mother for her birthday with letters in each card a week ago and they still havent received it. What are we supposed to do when these things happen?? Who is held responsible and accountable for all of this???

The parking lot here is a bit small, so I sometimes have to park in the Ace Hardware lot if there are no spaces. At lunch, there sometimes is a bit of a line. I think the longest I had to wait was about 20 minutes, only because they had one person manning the counter.No big complaints though. The location is clean,. and if you dont want to go inside, right next to the parking lot is a little U-side street where you can just roll down your window and dump your envelope down the post office box. Super convenient.

The first time I called, my experience was not that positive. However, when Tom was the one who picked up the phone, it was a pleasant experience. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, nice, and easy to talk to. He was able to locate my missing package; he told me hed call me back an hour or so and he actually did. Thank you Tom!

I go to the post office maybe 3 times a year and every time the line is long and service is slow. They need to hire one or two more people to make the process more pleasant. Staff is nice and try their best under the pressure of long customer service lines.

Its a shame I have to put one star up. I have been calling their number for six days now trying to track a package sent there by mistake. Two days last week and four so far this week. No one answers. It rings 50+ times until you get a fast busy signal. Its ridiculous. I can not get there due to work. Not sure what they have a number for to begin with.

I went in to have two small packages weighed. Didnt need postage, just needed them weighed for eBay shipping costs, and I dont own a package scale. Ive gone to several USPS locations to have stuff weighed and they had no problem at all, because it is literally what theyre doing all day. The only difference is that I didnt need postage. So I told the guy that I just need them weighed, and he acted confused and looked at me like I was stupid. So he miserably weighed them for me as if it was the hardest thing he had ever had to do. It took like 10 seconds. Dont know what the big deal was. Not courteous at all.

I would give it less if I could. Probably the most unhelpful post office Ive ever been to, USPS, UPS, FedEx, or otherwise. I wasnt there the first time they delivered my package so I scheduled a redelivery...which they never did. Then when I called they found it and put it on the truck only to fail to deliver it...despite me updating my preferences to no signature required. Then when I was finally able to go pick it up in person they couldnt find it. I was told its not here. And that they couldnt help me. So where the hell is it?? I still dont have my package, nor do I know where the hell it is.EDIT: I forgot to mention, they are a fan of letting the phone ring for extended periods of time. Dont even bother calling any later than 4:15pm (they close at 4:30pm), they WILL NOT answer.

This has been my local PO for 27 years. I have home and PO Box delivery, am also self-employed and use them for shipping. I am always amazed how quickly and with such good humor they get through lines, even during the holidays. Mail is rarely misidrected, & they are helpful in tracking it down if a problem occurs.thanks so much for all you do, Scottsdale Downtown PO!

This is the main post office for Scottsdale. I have always found them pleasant and helpful, even working past closing time until everyone in line is served. Unlike most other post offices, they keep their mailing supplies stocked up and their lobby clean.

Came here to get a specific stamp design. They only have 1 person with the key to access a vault of stamps. If that person is not there you can’t purchase stamps. A post office can’t that sell postage stamps on a Wednesday afternoon....truly ridiculous & unacceptable.

I have been calling for hours for the past two days. My mail has not come to my house in WEEKS. I am missing many personal documents such as license plate tags, medical insurance cards, and deposit return checks. I have not been able to make contact with anyone at the store since they dont answer the phone. The tracking history states that all of these things have been delivered, but they have not. Worst services through the Post Office I have EVER encountered. Very upset.

Please fix the parcel drop off or put a bigger box on the other side. It has been blocked and stuck shut the last 3 times Ive been there this month.One time another customer knocked on the door for several minutes, asking for the parcel drop off to be cleared, and employees kept yelling from the back that they were closed. This is understandable but at least, listen and unblock it.Another time I tried opening and closing the drop lever to free the package, because people were waiting behind me. A voice from an employee on the other side of the wall said dont break that. Well, it wouldnt be a problem if we could properly drop off packages.

Worst post office in the country. I have had mail delivered to neighbors, checks to be exact. Packages delivered to wrong houses, you name it. Whatever packages are not undelivered I have to trace them to the post office where they fish around in the back to find them. I no longer feel comfortable having packages sent to my house. This is horrible. Ill need to get A Po box just to ensure I get my mail. Im going to research how to put a complaint in to have this post office investigated for mail fraud. If anything theyre careless beyond all reasonable doubt.

I admit I dont know how their system works but Ive had a package sitting in this location for three days. I finally decided to go down there because for whatever reason, my package wasnt being delivered to me from them. They were closed, but a women was standing at the door and I said oh no are you guys closed? And she just snaps on me WERE CLOSED! So I said oh okay, this is where Id pick up a package right? I do like how the place is big and everything. There are employees who I like that are nice especially the guy Dude (not sure if thats his real name probably not) as I havent had a problem with anyone yet. I do agree how it is slow processing transactions and the problem with their rural carriers delivering mail into my neighborhood is pathetic! They never last in my neighborhood, sticking the wrong mail into other peoples boxes, never knocking on my door if I or my parents have a package just let it sit on the ground until I get home and find it, etc. This is still an ongoing problem since we moved to AZ in 96 and they got excuses as to why they cant deliver the mail which I am going to have a talk with their supervisor next week.

This post office attempted to deliver a package to my home yesterday, marked my address as vacant (they clearly went to the wrong address, I live in a condo) and then decided to ship my package back to the sender. I have been on hold with the USPS for hours and have tried to call this post office dozens of times and I cannot get anyone on the phone. I am in total disbelief at the lack of customer service. If youre not going to answer your phone during business hours, at least have a voicemail set up. All im trying to do is get ahold of someone before they return my package to the sender. SO FRUSTRATED.

The postal carriers are terrible. They have been delivering our mail to other addresses in the neighborhood and when we have a box they leave it in an unlocked mail box for anyone to open and steal. They have put our inbound packages in the box and put the key in another mail box, thank God our neighbors were trustworthy because they held it and gave it to us.. I have had to call the post office and complain to a supervisor and they always say that the carrier was a substitute that day.. You should fire a carrier if they do this too much and it has happened way too much for our address.. So we have decided after at least 6 screw ups from these crappy postal carriers that were never using USPS again...

Basically the worst experience ever. Joe confreres (the manager) at this location was incredibly rude while I was trying to figure out where my package was. Not only did they send it to Missouri the first time, they tried delivering the package around 9 am when I was told they would be here by noon. With previous experiences I had my mail close to noon, the earliest a little after 10am. Considering I was still asleep when they came by and now dont know where the package is, this is a huge problem and I will avoid using usps whenever possible. Joe ( the manager) was not helping with finding the package, he refused to attempt looking for it. Im done with this place, Im taking my business elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst management!! Generally good, competent people at the windows, but incompetent, unconcerned, uncaring management! USPS seems to have a knack for placing arrogant people in management and allows them to hide. When called to a window, the manager at this facility had to keep asking the person servicing the neighboring window about USPS options and procedures!! If this were a privately run company, they really would be out of business. I wouldnt give them less than 1 star if it were possible!

This is the first review I have ever written in my entire life, I am a very patient person but I have had it with this place! They have delivered multiple packages to the wrong address and they were never recovered. I have lost money because of whatever ditzy mail man delivers to my complex. I had to have them put me on a list ensuring that all of my packages are set to the side so that I can pick them up myself because of their incompetence. (Which by the way, causes me added stress because I work during their hours of operation and can only pick up on Saturdays) They also NEVER answer the phone! Who is running this place?!?!

Horrible service. So rude! Holding my package hostage for 10 days now. After sending my package back to the post office because the delivery person was too lazy to take my package up stairs. Can never reach anyone the phone just rings and rings. Theres no automated system and no information. Absolutely ridiculous. Strongly suggest not visiting this location. The redelivery slip clearly states you can pick up packages until 5:00 - when I got there I was told it ends at 4:30. The guy was extremely rude and unhelpful. Several other people were trying to retrieve their packages as well and the employee didnt feel like going to get a scanner and our packages even though it was before 5:00.

The lady was _very_ rude to me. I come in, right? And I ask for three coil stamps. Not three coils of stamps, but three stamps from a coil, and WHAM! Here come two coils of stamps and she says Thatll be 141 dollars. I was confused. I said, thats not correct. She said, in a very rude way, You wanted three stamps from a coil, right? I said no, I wanted three stamps from a coil. I did not know at the time I was not able to buy three individual stamps from a coil. So then, she said okay, she said she would get some. Then she gives me this ripped-from-the-bottom-of-a-sheet-of-stamps crap, with two stamps on it. Do I look retarded or something? Then, I bought them because I didnt know any better. She played me. I hope she commits suicide and rots in hell.

Terrible customer service, refused to scan expensive packages. Has already lost 10 packages in 1 year. When I requested a package scan in front of me, they refused. Bad way to conduct business. Customer service should always come first.
