My wife bought me a Ball watch from E.D. Marshall 12 years ago. I have had it serviced twice at E.D. Marshall. After the last service the chrono “buttons” were extremely hard to press then the reset button fell out of the watch. I went in the other day to have it repaired and they told me they have nothing to do with Ball anymore. Didn’t even tell me where I might be able to have the watch repaired. Poor customer service after spending a few thousand dollars on a watch and soliciting their business over the years (my wife’s Rolex maintenance also). I was very disappointed and would look elsewhere for my dream purchase of a Ulysses Nardin.

Hugh Emmer is the best! An expert when it comes to watches of all types and brands, I have bought many watches from him over the years and have always been treated fairly. Highly recommended.

The selection is very limited. If they special order a bigger size of something in their inventory, the saleswoman did air quotes... nonrefundable. She stressed special orders and resizing an item in their inventory (again air quotes nonrefundable )it would take more than 3 weeks. I felt pressured to make a quick decision with their limited selection. She was interested in my jewelry repairs, but not my estate jewelry I wanted to sell. I chose not to do business with them.The owners commercial are far from what you find in their store at Scottsdale/Shea.

The diamond bracelet was absolutely gorgeous. The stones were so sparkly and the way it looked on her was perfect. She is a very petite woman, but this bracelet fit her perfectly with just the right amount of dainty bling. She loves it and is wearing it daily!

I took in 4 tiffany pieces including 14kt rose gold T for tiffany bracelet and at least 25 other peices, the buyer offered me $500 for everything 🙄. I didnt accept of course they claim to pay the highest prices in az but dont be fooled.

I scheduled an appointment for 9am and as 15 people walked into work at 9am, they said there was nobody to help me and not sure why someone would’ve scheduled me for that time... Unfortunately they did and I drove 30min here and 30min back. Waste of time and gas. Horrible service. Will sell my jewelry elsewhere

After shopping around online for the best deal and becoming frustrated with out of state dealers I decided to try E.D. Marshall for my watch purchase. I spoke with Sergio over the phone who was very easy to work with. He gave me all the numbers I requested and thats exactly what I paid when I came in.My only regret is wasting time trying to get a better deal out of state, just start here!

Great experience!  We are returned customers and bought some canary diamond earrings from ed marshalls a few months ago. While they were cleaning up our previously purchased canary ring noticed that one of the prongs was damaged and fixed it while we went for lunch. Now we have matching canaries; one new and the other like new!  We’ll be back for sure.

I have bought my jewelry from Ed Marshall for over 25 years now. The pricing is always fair and they never hesitate to clean and polish my diamond rings, making them look brand new. Larry, the jewelry designer, made a custom Golden pearl ring surrounded by diamonds and when I asked 2 other big jewelers how much it would have cost to have it made, they quoted me MORE than double what ED Marshall charged. I am most happy with this business!

Worst Experience! Dont come here. Dont sell your jewelry here. They rip you off and give you 20 cents on the dollar for what your jewelry is actually worth (if you dont know what you have or what its worth - which is most people when selling gold.). I also Went to their coin department over at scottsdale coin and the manager is the least professional manager ie ever seen. Rudest guy Ive ever seen in my life too. His name will Gil. Worst attitude, and treated me like garbage when all I wanted to do was buy some silver eagles. DONT COME HERE!! GO to valley coin, first national bullion, or phoenix coin shop down the street instead!!!! They pay more too for silver and gold. Ive never seen a more sleezy business model where you pay your customers more money for the items they have (70-80% of the melt value of the jewelry) who are educated on the gold market prices vs only paying (10-20% of the melt value of the jewelry) and rip off the un-educated who dont know the gold market prices to put more profit in your wallet. Terrible Business Model!

I purchased a pre-owned Oris Aquis watch from E.D. Marshall. The experience was awesome!! I bought the watch on a Saturday and it arrived beautifully packaged on Monday. Superb price and the watch was in pristine condition like advertised. I would highly recommend them!!

Sad to have to do this but enough is enoughHad a ring “triple dipped” for a white gold finish. Got a call that it was ready to be picked up and it was horrible. Had to be sent out again (right before the wedding)🤬 Still wasn’t happy after I got back. Of coarse it did not hold up well at all! They do not take care of other people’s possessions. This was my grandfather’s wedding ring and will one day be my son’s ring. Do not trust them with your jewelry.Took some silver coins in and was shocked by the offer... by far the worst offer out there. Greasy pawn shops made way better offers😤Every time silver is up they have sleeves of silver. Every time it drops in price- “oh I only get what they send me” (Surprise,Az) Scottsdale is responsible for the inventory at this location.Zero values & customer care is nonexistent.Finally got around to reading their reviews and can’t understand how this company is still operating.STAY AWAY- Anywhere but this business

After visiting a handful of name brand stores with my fiance I realized that shopping for her engagement ring and our wedding bands would not be easy. The service and lack of knowledge at these stores threw up red flags. After some research, I found ed marshall . The moment we walked in, we were greeted by their incredible staff. I got all my answers to all of our questions and made us feel at ease with our purchase. I also want to point out that they have awesome natural lighting in store. They arent relying on their lighting system to sell their merchandise like other stores the stones sparkled in the sun. I recently purchased an engagement ring from somewhere else, however it was slightly too large for my fiance. We took it to ed marshals jewelry to be resized. They were extremely nice and ensured that we were taken care of. They pay very close attention to every detail and the ring fits my fiancé perfectly now. I also treated myself to a Breitling watch at a fantastic price. I am extremely excited to pick up in a few days after I get it sized and serviced. I definitely recommend them!

I purchased my fiances engagement ring from the E.D. Marshall store in Tempe and had no issues, the ring is beautiful and the service was fine. We purchased my wedding band from the Scottsdale store with no issues as well.The issues arose when we tried to get a custom wedding band designed at the Scottsdale store. The designer charged us $65 for a design fee but once completed let us know that she wont share the designs unless we come in together to view them. She wont even give us ball park pricing on the designs unless we come in together. It seems an obvious ploy to put maximum sales pressure on. Thankfully a different jeweler in Gilbert happily created some designs and even created a wax prototype of the one my fiance really liked and never asked for a design fee. Will never do business with E.D. Marshall again.

After she passed away I sold some jewelry but got another offer from Micheals Creative Jewelry first. ED Marshall offered me half what Michaels did. Made me mad. How much money did they rip off from my Mom? Dont do business here. They dont deserve it.

Truly wish there was an option to report the the appraiser and other staff to better business bureau. I had a few very expensive items and wanted another opinion on the price point....omg!!! For a diamond and gemstone stone ring with appraised value of over 10k, I was offered $250! All of the pieces were top quality GIA certified with either 18k or platinum and this scam artist that refers to himself as an appraiser was offering to take off my hands for under 1k for all and was going to do me a favor lol!!! This company says they buy jewelry but I emailed them 3 times about my Gucci watch and NEVER received even a response. I called their Scottsdale store and was transferred to 2 different people before being told, “oh we dont buy those types of watches.” Even though they talk a big game of being a jewelry buyer ‘that offers 20% more than the others’ very disappointing that a company like that cannot even respond to me. I have a $800 Gucci watch and the website says they buy them but the guy I spoke to just dismissed me. You’d have better luck going with a different company for something like this.

Took in some iteams to be appraised and was told they were of no value, which was correct. I wanted to check because I know nothing about bling and shiney objects. Point being they were very polite and didnt make me feel like a dope.

Purchased a $4200 Breitling from them three to four years ago and it already slowed down and needs to be serviced. I called them and was quoted $350 starting price for service, when I arrived in person I was told they don’t give pricing over the phone and that my information was wrong. I was then told it would be at least $700-$800 to service the watch and could be even more than that. After calling several other certified Breitling dealers Ed Marshall’s quote was the most expensive. I asked for a discount since I purchased the watch from them and was told they couldn’t do anything for me.In business there is people who focus on one single transaction and then there is people who invest in a relationship to earn a lifetime customer. Ed Marshall is a transactional business and not relationship based from what I can tell.

E.D.Marshall is a professional classy old fashioned store with highly accredited personnel. Elizabeth in appraisals and Patrick in watches are highly accredited trustworthy folks. You will feel valued from the moment the moment you walk in.

Get your watch batteries replaced here!! I just got mine replaced this morning- it’s just $5/battery and they donate the money to a food bank (st Mary’s I want to say?)I’ve been in here and handful of times to get jewelry repaired and cleaned as well as to browse. They’re reasonably priced and don’t take too long and everyone is friendly and helpful.

Jennifer was extremely helpful and helped guide me to find the right ring. She did not put any pressure on me to purchase the rain. She was there to listen and help me through the process. I would definitely recommend ed Marshalls.

After speaking with Luis, we came to an amicable agreement on my transaction.I was glad I went back into the store. I was treated with respect & am happy with the outcome! Great people and great service! I see some negative reviews but cannot fathom on how this could be. I have been there multiple times for watches, new purchase, trade, and repairs and have NEVER had a bad experience. I think that people forget that there is such a thing as bad customers. Felt sorry for the unsuspecting folks sitting in there like cattle waiting to sell jewelry to them. They scratched my good jewelry and even though they said dont worry we will not let it out of your sight and you can even come in the back room and see whats going on with it - they went back on their word. I felt very uncomfortable and after taking apart my jewelry (still not where I could see it) they didnt like that I was in the back room and they referred me to someone else. But I found my own appraiser who did it all right in front of me focusing on our appointment and without a mish mash of stuff going on around us. He sent me a very detailed and thorough appraisal the next day. So it was a blessing I got out of there.

Beware !! False advertising online for 2.52 carat round brilliant loose diamond. Online pricing showed $16,425 & when I went into the store to purchase I was quoted $26,500. After spending 2 hours looking at loose diamonds - I was told they cannot sell it to me for the online price since according to the manager/appraiser there was a human error online. So not only this diamond, but there were another diamond that was incorrect too. I showed the screen shot of the advertising in which I took the night before & while I was in the store - ED Marshall changed the price online so I was not able to purchase. Friends of mine who have been longtime clients & have spent a LOT of money - will not be going back. Not only was I going to make this diamond - I was going to have a custom ring made & make many other purchases. I went in this store putting trust in ED Marshall for my diamond purchases but they do not care about customers.

When coming to ED Marshall’s I was unsure what to expect. As I walked in the door I was immediately greeting by a few of their staff members. To my surprise I felt more at home in this jewelry store then I have when walking into chain jewelry stores. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and the variety I was shown shocked me. I fell in love with an all-white GC watch. I had never seen one like this before! This store goes above and beyond to make anyone feel like home; from average day wear to special occasions, this place has it all no matter what your price range is. If any of you are like me I can understand the fear of walking into privately owned jewelry stores, but I can honestly this place has it all! Thank you again to everyone at ED Marshall’s for making my experience a one of a kind!

Very nice reception at watch repair. Took my dual time watch immediately back to determine if it needed battery or repair. Wait time was 10 minutes.

I sent the good people of Marshalls and email regarding some coins I wanted to sell. (I even provided a typed list of the coins I wanted to sell.) No problem but you need to bring them to Scottsdale. I live in Maricopa and Tempe would have been much closer but I complied. Drove out there today and walked into Marshalls and was informed I needed to speak to an individual in the back. When he saw the list I brought with me he said you need to go down the end of the street to a coin store. Nothing in email said another company would be involved. Walked in there and again was told you need to see (did not get his name) in the back. She then yells out to him that I was coming back. I showed the list to him and again I got the same look. I would only be interested in the coins that have silver, not anything else. Why would you send an email telling me to bring the coins to Scottsdale? I am very disappointed in how I was treated. Sure could have saved a great deal of gas. Oh by the way you might want to try Ebay was a remark he made as I left. I cannot recommend this store to anyone wanting to sell coins.

Recommended by a friend, they were really trustworthy with a damaged bracelet of mine, which was an heirloom piece. Would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Very knowledgeable staff. I went in with some inherited jewelry to see what they were worth and they ended up educating me about the pieces I brought in, and I even ended up selling them some of the pieces after they made me a great offer. Its a pleasure to do business with ED Marshall, they are not like a lot of places that lowball you to try to take advantage of whatever situation youre in. I will be doing business again, especially because they carry Corum and Zenith watches, my favorite.
