I had a vintage Tudor Rolex that desperately needed some love. It had a huge scratch in the crystal, needed a new band, and needed to be cleaned. It was bad to say the least. I decided Gem Time would give me the best experience. I definitely wasnt wrong! I was greeted by Olga with a warm smile and greeting. She took care of me right away figuring out what I needed and helping me choose the exact band I was looking for. My watch was then handed over to John and he took care of the rest. He did a wonderful job! It was a watch I would keep in a drawer to a watch I would wear everyday. Thank you so much for treating my daughter and I with care! Will be back! Recommend 100%!

Im from out of town and needed my Rolex repaired. A few other jewelry stores quotes were as much as 10.000.00. One of my last stops was Gem Time and I could have been more impressed with the service and service. They are one of very few shops with high-end machines to repair gold and an amazing jeweler named George who repaired my watch for 200.00 and made it as good as new. I have since been back a dozen times and have added a few upgrades to it.(diamond bezel) Its one of the greatest family owned businesses I have ever Patron and George and John have become family. Its a place you want to do business at become of the trust and love they show to all there customers. Thank you guys, you both are very special people and operate a very special business.

They’re so nice and put up with so many questions from me regarding my vintage Yema watch. It was my first older watch and the movement was just a little different to my other watches, and due to my misunderstanding, I thought the repair didn’t hold. I sent them an email about it, and where most businesses would have been impatient, they very graciously explained things and asked me to bring it in so we could look at the watch together.I realized after our conversation that the watch worked perfectly. I think they probably barely broke even on the maintenance after spending all the time they did explaining to me, and re-examining my timepiece.Also, the shop dog is a celebrity. Highly recommended.

Ive worn a Citizen Echo Drive that I bought back in 2009 every day, in every type of weather, on three continents; doing everything while wearing it from going to work to baking to exploring the Philippines and North America on my motorcycle to enduring blizzards in northern Alberta and more.I had seen the watch the night my father died but didnt get it then; instead I found it at a store on Bangor, Maine a few months later and bought it then. Over years the watch took a lot of abuse and was very scratched up. For a brief time during the pandemic I lost the watch while caring for an ailing friend before she died. For about two months I couldnt find it and had given up thinking Id ever wear it again. The thought of replacing the watch depressed me because even the same model is not the same watch and in my heart I would know it. My friends mother arrived and cleared out her house and I mentioned the missing watch. To my surprise he found it and I was able to wear it again and felt complete again. The only thing that bothered me was the scratches.Last week a customer of mine introduced me to GemTime in old town Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, and when I showed them my watch they immediately said they could fix it by replacing the crystal. I didnt know the glass was called that, but it is. They quoted me a fair price and in a few days they brought the face and numbers on my watch back to their original clarity. They were very good about communicating over the phone and also had to do additional work by replacing the gasket.I am extremely happy with Gem Time and the work they did. Thank you. Had a great experience here. I needed to have a diamond reset on my engagement ring as the prongs had completely eroded. The team was incredibly nice and helpful. They quoted me a very fair price to have the prongs replaced on the center stone and to tighten the settings on the baguettes. My ring was finished on time and at the agreed upon price. It looked amazing when I picked it up, just like new. They even offered to clean my wedding band while I was there. I couldnt be happier overall with the experience and wouldnt hesitate to return for any additional jewelry needs.

Very friendly and genuine jeweler. My wife and I thought we needed to get the prongs tightened on her wedding ring, but instead of simply agreeing and charging us money for the service the owner gave an honest assessment and said the prongs were perfectly fine. It was very refreshing to see such character in an industry where it’s pretty easy to rip people off, so we will definitely be going back.

Thoroughly Impressed with this place. Stopped by to have a vintage Rolex fixed. Met him once and spoke to him once. I called about a month later to check on the status of the watch. Didn’t give my name or anything just that I had a vintage Rolex getting worked on. He remembered my name and knew exactly what the status was without having to check. This shop knows their business and it works better than any precision timepiece you can find. Highly recommended. I’ll take all my watches there from now on. They gained a customer for life.

What a fantastic experience! I brought two Rolex Submariner watches in for service. One Ive had for over 25 years. The clasp was broken and it was looking really beat-up. The second needed links added to the band. I had dropped off the watches around noon and was amazed to receive a call from the wonderful girl at the front desk later that day telling me that they were ready. Of course I thought, theres no way they could do a quality job so quickly. Same day??!!Well, I was wrong. My 25 year old watch looked absolutely like brand new. Im extremely particular and when I say it looks brand new, it looks like brand new. PERFECT. The polishing is perfect, the brushed areas are perfect, the clasp looks and functions like new, it sparkles like the new watches in their case. John even set the correct time, checked the fit on my wrist, and fixed the sticking crown for free!The second watch was completed, clean, and back in the box like it had never been opened.The total cost for everything was around $150 which I think is an absolute bargain.Theres been very few times throughout my 50 years that Ive received such service. Bravo GemTime, a job VERY well done!!

My 14 y.o. grandson had a necklace that he wanted shortened and the remaining links made into a bracelet for his brother. I was so impressed with the respect they showed him as he handled the entire process himself (well, I paid the very reasonable cost but they handled everything else directly with him). I made a trip to Gemtime watch for a reason, they are the best. I took a new Ball watch to have sized and had an exceptional experience. After removing the pens for sizing they realized they were gummed up. They steamed the pens before replacing them. Exceptional service, thank you.

I have been using their services well before they moved deeper into Old Town Scottsdale and I can proudly say that this company had endured that move and service only got better. Walked in one afternoon needing help with a Swiss watch I had purchased in Geneva and could not figure out how to pop out the crown of the watch and adjust the date settings. The jewelers were so welcoming and in about 30 seconds took care of adjusting the watch and showed me how to do so for the next time and for no charge.I will definitely be going back for all of my watch and jewelry repairs. A very good friend of mine recommended this place to me. She had several high end watches serviced and was very happy with the service every time. I needed a simple battery replaced and a few links added. I walked in expected to have to leave the watch but they did everything as I waited. I was greeted very warmly the minute I walked in and I had a pleasant conversation with another patron who was picking up a ring that was being sized. These guys are the best! They were one of 3 jewelry stores i stopped in to have my diamond ring re-pronged and by far the best! I inherited my mothers diamond ring which my dad had made for her back in the late 70s, early 80s approximately. Its a beautiful ring but set in yellow gold which is not my thing and made it look dated. George suggested that he dip in rhodium to make it white gold which i had always thought would be an expensive and complicated endeavor. But he said he could do it for $60, so i trusted him and my ring is now GORGEOUS!!!! Gem Time is my new jeweler of choice now! Their pricing is fair, theyre honest and do beautiful work, plus theyre family owned and really care about the quality of their work. Like another reviewer said...... wish i could give them 10 stars. The one bad review on Google wasnt even something they did. Read between the lines. I know if i wasnt happy with anything they did, they would fix it and that guy didnt give them the opportunity and blamed them for something they did not do. My wife and I went in to have my wedding ring resized this weekend. We were promptly greeted and introduced to George. Then, on top of that, he inspected, cleaned, and polished my wifes wedding set. When we came back to pick up our rings, we were amazing that they looked like brand new. I would describe this business as: professional, detailed, and honest - three qualities that I am sure many people value in a jeweler. I went to Frank looking for a band to replace my current one which has more or less disintegrated. After going over the issue with him, he decided that another watchmaker would possibly have a better fit for what I was looking for and directed me to him. Despite not buying anything with him he offered incredible service and did his utmost to ensure I was a satisfied customer. I can readily recommend him to others.

Got my diamond ring re-sized to my finger.They did it for $40.I went there just half an hour before their closing time. They were able to do it for me. They actually took longer than their closing hours but they went on just fine without bothering about their timings. They value customer service .The quality of work was good too.

They restored a 70 year old watch for me they are friendly and know there business. Very friendly and reasonable.

This place was AMAZING! Called at 2:58 on a Saturday not realizing they closed at 3. Worked with John - had found the location online. Really good guy and very knowledgeable being 4th generation in the industry. I had 1 watch for battery repair and 1 watch to extend the link where I was missing parts. He was able to extend the link (having replacements I needed on-hand) and was a very good price - about 1/3 of what I was quoted at the mall shops and less than other Storefronts that tried and couldnt figure it out. Going to use him for all my watch needs in the future.

I have been going to these guys for years. There are a lot of amateur jewelry repair places in phoenix that will mess up your fine jewelry. This is not one of those places. These guys are 100% professional. They do exquisite work for great prices.

Great experience. Took watch in to get link taken out of band. Was there literally 5 secondsAnd was fixed. There was a removable link that just hadd to flip the clasp over. I had my solid gold Rolex Daytona buffed looks great BIG BUT it does not fit any more it cuts off my circulation. You decide if you would like your gold watch of 20 years to not fit anymore.

I couldnt be happier with GemTime. I have a Movado where the stem broke off. I was sure it would have to be in the shop for days or weeks while a part had to be ordered. I walked in and the nice older gentleman (who had been fixing watches 50 years and was a 4th generation watch maker) had it fixed in 15 minutes and even replaced the battery. And the price was much lower than I expected. I would recommend these guys for any watch repair. I was also tempted to buy a watch, since they have so many beautiful ones.

I wrecked on my motor cycle and my Omega Speedmaster somehow lost its case back. Even after I replaced the missing part at a different jewler in California, it still wasnt ticking well.I took the watch to GemTime and John buffed the crystal for me for a very fair price and even took a look at the movement for me as a favor.They offered to repair the watch for a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere. I am probably going to sell it with a disclaimer on eBay, but they won me over as a customer. You have to be able to trust your watch and jewerly guy and I trust these guys based on my very pleasant interaction.

Had a great experience with my dealings with John and George at Gem Time. Took my Omega Seamaster Chrono to them for a second opinion. Was told by another watch maker in Scottsdale that I was in need of a complete cleaning because my watch was running slow. John placed my watch on their timing device and told me that it was keeping perfect time. His opinion was a complete cleaning was unwarranted at this time. Went further with a discussion about the type of movement that was running the watch,a Valjoux7750,and what a workhorse of a movement it was. Also shared with me his experience of working on these movements and that these were the iron man of movements used by Omega and various other watch companies. I left my watch with them for a polishing and what a great job they did. It looks like it did when I took it out of the box 7 years ago! Do not hesitate to use Gem Time for any of your watch problems. I will not hesitate to use their services again. Great guys and honest service at a very reasonable price!
