Out of frustration, I previously left a poor review based on a very brief experience in which I made assumptions and thought the worst case scenario was what I would have to deal with. I will post another review once my repairs are finished, but they were extremely helpful and were able to explain everything to me to shed new light on what I thought was a hopeless case. Everyone that Ive spoken with, customer service and technician-wise, were knowledgeable and friendly, in spite of my own frustration and misunderstanding.

My iphone 11 pro microphone & speaker didnt work as normal after some water damage. As a real estate agent, my phone is my lifeline and I was nervous that it would take a long time to repair. That was not the case - Jeremy was able to assess the damage quickly and got it back to me the same evening! This is the only place I will bring my macbook & phone in the future. 10/10 recommend and will be telling all of my friends and family. Amazing service.

Where to begin… I emailed this company to get a quote to repair my iPhone 7 Plus. The screen was broken as well as the LCD and front “selfie” camera. I was quoted $133 for all of the work. I brought my phone in the same day around 11:45 am. A few emails after me asking when it would be completed I get an email asking me to call. They told me there was water damage in my phone and to fix everything it would be $270. I agreed just wanting my phone back. They never mentioned anything about my back camera. I call at 3:41 pm and they tell me it won’t be ready now until tomorrow. I leave work and go home. When I get to work the next morning to check my email they had emailed me that my phone was completed at 4:06 pm. Then when I show up to get my phone they tell me the selfie camera was unable to be fixed. At this point I am furious and need to get back to work. They email me the invoice and charged me $120 for the back camera that was always working. I don’t think they ever tested the camera, see picture as to why. I just want my $120 back and them to make this right. So far I have been offered a $40 store credit. I have every intention of reporting them to the BBB Monday morning. Do not go here. Scammers. My favorite part was when they offered a $5 social media check in discount for a good review. Gross.****Update****I received an email from Jeremy after threatening to file a complaint with the attorney generals office the BBB and this was his response (I did a seen shot).“ Hi Cassandra,I told you and your friend last week that I would help you with your issue and that we could put back your old back camera if you thats what you wish. The old camera was causing the iPhone to lag and run slow, shorting inside causing an overheating issue but if you want to have it back we will do that for you and I can refund you for it.Please remove all the negative reviews on social media and I will schedule a time for you to come in today or tomorrow and we can do this for you.Thank youJeremy”Update #2: my new screen has glitches and won’t work half of the time. Great job on the warranty. The only way they will fix my phone is if I take down the bad reviewsThey installed my camera upside down so when I take pictures all of them are the wrong way. My screen will only stay in portrait mode, and acts like it’s possessed 44% of the time. They will only fix it if I take down my bad reviews.

Just fantastic! I actually was refunded, when the Tech called me, he said I didnt need a complete keyboard replacement. Saved me $80. Honest, and great about staying in contact. Also, polite folks! Unlike the other Mac repair place, and love seeing a woman tech, who was just brilliant at keeping me up to date. Also, didnt insist I leave my computer for a week - key as a small business owner. Bravo, Brava!

Do not use this place. Went in with a laptop because the plug adapter had broken off in the computer. Was told I have to pay $100 deposit up front and when I asked if it will be refunded for a simple repair I was given the run around with talk about how they have to open the computer and who knows what else. Now- I’m thinking why would it need that much when it just takes a very small pair of tweezers to get out the part of the cord that stayed in the computer, but, I don’t really know much about electronics and trusted the experts. Besides there were way to many people crowded into a way too small space leaving no room for social distancing and the staff would start to help me then stop suddenly to address one of the other customers. This happened many, many times. I wanted out of that place and that that if indeed the repair took more then fine but any decent business would refund an over charge.Wrong. When I got the call in less than 2 hours that the repair was done and went to pickup the laptop I was told all they had to do was take some tweezers and pull out the broken off piece. When I asked about the refund I was told that $100 fee was non refundable. By the exact same person who I asked if it would be refunded for a very simple repair and who instead of telling me it was not gave me the run around about complicated repairs. After some time the manager came out and eventually said he would look at exactly what was done and get back to me because I have used them several times be fore and am a good customer. Well several months later still heard nothing. So I emailed a complaint and was told I had been given some minimal store credit. Still ok explanation of what repairs were (or were not) actually done. And still a store credit that will never get used because there is no way I would go back to that place. No answer to that fact that I was given the run around to leave my laptop there as I would have walked right back out with it if they would have told me, up front, when I asked that the “deposit” was non refundable. And this how they treat a “good” customer.

Excellent experience! I am so happy that I found Mac Masters. I recently dropped my iPad and cracked the screen. Alessandra provided top notch customer service. I submitted an online inquiry, and she called me almost immediately. When I went in to drop off my iPad the following morning, Alessandra very clearly explained the process and pricing (very reasonable.) I had to leave my iPad overnight, but received a text the following morning stating that it was ready. I just picked it up and could not be more pleased. Everything was done as specified and the quality of the work is flawless. I would completely trust Mac Masters if I ever needed to return for a repair for one of my Apple devices.

Horrible service, junk phones, poor customer service!! Do not go here!! They sold me a phone with a 3 month warranty, 1 month out of warranty the screen locks up. So I took it to a place close by got a new screen, it locks up 3 weeks later, so I take it to mac Masters to try and explain that the phone screen keeps locking up and ALSO the Home button is now not working. They blame me saying I must have dropped it hard and broken it internally. they put on a new screen and home button, which i PAY for and in 3 more weeks, BAM, the screen has locked up again! Will not consider a refund/replacement etc. Basically they sell junk, blame others for any issues and have no concerns for the customer. I will never go back here!

Warning do not take your phones laptops iPads to this place theyre a scam. They sold me an old laptop that was refurbished for $250. when I purchased my software and went to upload the software the DVD part was broken and I wasnt able to upload my software. They refuse to repair it or refund me my money. Telling me all sales were final after I had already bought it.. Then tried to upsell me a plug-in DVD adding another $80 to this old laptop. Im sure they do this to a lot of people they sell you their junk then try to upsell you when you find out its not in good working condition. Beware of what you buy here theyre real scumbags. I have since contacted my bank and disputed this transaction.

My iPhone XR was cracked from a bad drop when I get out of my car snack on the pavement. I need it fixed in a hurry because I use my phone for work for Veyo and was without a job until I could get it working so I found Mac Masters in the neighborhood and they had great reviews so I went there and they said they could fix it real fast in 30 minutes. I was in and out real fast Louis helped me out with the whole repair process and recommended a new case and glass protector so it won’t happen again great job Mac Masters

I took in my iPhone with a few problems. I was ready to spend money for several new parts to be installed but they said all it needed was a good cleaning. I was a bit skeptical at first but after testing it, they indeed fixed the problems. These are good people that made my phone work properly for a fair price that was much lower than buying and installing new components. I would be happy to shop here again.

We needed service at our home. He was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, set everything up for us and he was able to troubleshoot and fix a problem we were having. The cost was very reasonable and I won’t hesitate to call them again.

My iPad had been in a state of “sleep” for a couple of days that left it unable to power on or to charge. After exhausting all of my options, and being told that repairs were not possible by Apple, I took it to Mac Masters. Within 2 days my iPad was fully functional and still had 100% of my data on it. I paid an INCREDIBLY reasonable price for a diagnosis, but was not charged anything further. I don’t think that I’ve left a place of business this happy in a very long time. They quoted a price over the phone for a repair on MacBook but seemed distracted. Drove all the way to the store and then they changed their tune about costs. Said it would take five days to replace a battery. The front desk worker was new and when he asked for help from someone in the back they had a terrible attitude. Poor customer service.

This store saved my iPhone 7 after being dunked in the toilet over the weekend ! thank you so much Mac Masters!I was at such a loss after a late night incident at the Vig accidentally plopping my iPhone into a clean toilet. Very prompt and reliable service. The hard drive on my iMac got corrupted. They replaced my hard drive and restored my computer data by the morning of the next business day. My computer now runs faster than before. I was relieved to get my computer back fully restored and so quickly.

That work was performed quickly and at a reasonable cost. The Iphone is running more efficiently and the battery is holding power quite a bit longer. The second item I brought to Mac Masters was a year old Imac. This computer had been crashing unexpectedly and making strange noises for several months. I researched the hell out of this problem myself and contacted several computer expert friends who all were unable to help. I finally took the Imac to Mac Masters. The team at Mac Masters called me several times to update me on the progress of the repairs and explained exactly what was going on with the machine. These guys are the best! Brought my 2013 macbook pro in the other day that was dying every 30 minutes or so. They had it fixed within a few days, were able to clean the fans and dust inside and replace a broken piece that helped regulate the temperature which was causing it to crash, all of which was covered by the deposit price. I always have trouble remembering my Apple & iCloud passwords and Jeremy & the other Mac experts helped me recover my accounts and regain access to my old email & facebook after I have been hacked. I will always come back to this store. They are very honest and trustworthy with my computer needs and have never let me down.

They were soooo helpful and pleasant! I damaged my iPhone so much that the Apple store could not retrieve my pictures and phone numbers! I have a one year old daughter and had so many precious pictures that would have been lost! They were able to get all my pictures and phone numbers transferred to a flash drive!! Im so thankful! You’ll end up taking your phone to Apple to replace the screen that Mac Masters will charge you the same to replace, but with inferior parts.Expect your screen repair to start ghosting (randomly selecting things, deleting emails, etc) if you have them do the work.Apple fixed their shotty work and the phone was perfect afterwards.

I went in to get the battery replaced on my eight year old MacBook Pro. Immanuel let me know after they did a diagnostic check that my hard drive was about to die. He recommended a hybrid drive and a new battery. I was skeptical at first but after a week of using my computer its faster than ever before and will hopefully last another 8 years.

Wow! I am super impressed with this group!My child has an Mac Book Air. The charging connection was t working so we took it to Apple. Apple said she got it wet and blew the motherboard - you need to spend $800 to fix it or just get a new computer. Mom wasnt happy that she got the computer wet! Daughter swore she didnt.I sat on it over the summer and put out a Facebook post to my Facebook friends and Mac Masters was recommended.Took computer in and the gang there worked very hard to fix the computer - AND THEY DID! Motherboard issue which cost me total $190! You never want to feel taken advantage of in a business transaction but after dealing with them, its how youll feel. Mis-quoted price over the phone (language barrier, its whatever), price quotes given in-store for a iphone screen replacement are given by the # of additional accessories (screen protectors, cases, etc) you purchase and not the singular price of the screen. Theyll attempt to up-sell the hell out of you.Its like asking the price of Car at the dealership and your sales-person gives you X price, making it appear to be a great deal, but fails to mention the paint warranty, a must have wiper fluid fee, or any other nonsensical up-sell that ultimately reveals a good deal to be a sheep in wolfs clothing.Im sure other people have had a similar experience to mine... and maybe some people have had better experiences (hopefully), but the other reviews for this business appear scripted and one should question their validity.

They helped me with getting an iPhone four screen, the part by itself itself for a great price. Nobody else in phoenix would give me just a screen without installation. They are a little hard to find on the street but the staff talked me all the way to their front door due to my poor sense of direction in this area of Scottsdale. The Mac Masters also talked tech with me (they really know their stuff!) for over an hour and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend calling them FIRST before you look online, they will give you the honest answer. A+++

Mac Masters sells counterfeit products knowingly. I bought a Griffin iPhone 5 case from them that broke within 30 days of purchase. I tried to take it back with the receipt and the box and the owner would not refund my money. The product was defective and broke. I went to the manufacturer, Griffin technologies with screen shots of the phone case, box and serial number only to receive a 4 page email back as to the fact that it is a counterfeit product and that they will do nothing about replacing it. The owner of Mac Masters, Jeremy and Josh the store manager are both aware, have seen the product and the email and have decided not to return my phone call. I now have Griffin investigating Mac Masters and have filed a complain with the Better Business Bureau of Arizona. I will also be filing in small claims and posting this review everywhere Mac Masters advertises. Dont be taken by these scam artists.

These guys fixed our phone quickly and on another occasion fixed our mac. the mac is better than when i bought it.

Repair made my computer worse. I paid 200 dollars for basically nothing and I think they may have caused another problem. I brought my computer in to be repaired when I spilled water on laptop. My laptop wasnt charging normally but the keyboard was completely fine.When they called me saying it was ready, they let me know that in the future I may have issues with my keyboard. Well, I returned to school ready to start some work and... ZERO keyboard function ZERO. When I brought it in my keyboard was just fine.Very frustrated, I took it to Apple and explained to them my problem and what had happened and they uncovered my IPD to MLB Flex Cable had been damaged in repairs- its cable that attaches the trackpad and keyboard circuit board to the logic board. So they made my issue worse and I ended up having to pay more AND send my computer away.

Helped me with setting up iPhone, fixing my iPad 4 and setting up all emails. Great service and friendly.

I had called 10 other places before deciding to go with Mac masters. Josh was great from phone call to in person. Really informative. My iPhone 6 screen was Sooo cracked, just the glass not the lcd. Mac masters gave the best quote even better than the groupon offers. The finished product is beautiful and Im amazed the phone looks as good as new. Definitely recommend Mac masters and josh !

My laptop crashed and after running diagnostics on it, MacMasters said it was bad video/graphics cards and theyd send it to a 3rd party repair place for 20 business days and $500. I asked if Apple had any responsibility here, as the laptop was only 4 yrs old. He said no, its been too long. It took my son 10 seconds to Google my issue and find out it was under an Apple recall and they would fix it for free. I called back and asked about this again, and again I was told no, my unit didnt qualify. Needless to say, Apple fixed it in 2 days at no cost. MacMasters behaved unethically and unprofessionally, in my opinion, by hiding the recall information from me not being honest and forthcoming with the recall, which was so easily found by my son. I would think that MAC Masters would have a better handle on their area of expertise. Oh, I forgot to mention that option 2 was to buy a used laptop from them for $1500.00. I will never trust them again. And did I mention the Dorito chip crumbs on my keyboard?!

Absolutely, positively do not use MacMasters. They are possibly the worst company Ive ever had the displeasure of using. Took 3 weeks to replaced a cracked iPad screen. When they finally did replace the screen, there were fingerprints on the bottom side of the glass. They said that it was within tolerable spec and therefore didnt see the need to fix it. Really? Fingerprints on the under side of the glass is tolerable? After arguing and blaming the manufacturer for placing the fingerprints on the glass, they finally agreed to fix the smudges. 2 weeks later they had the glass replaced but broke the cellular antenna. Now I have an iPad that doesnt get cellular service because these buffoons and I will not step back in their two bit store have it repaired again. Now I need to pay somebody else to fix their so called repair. Be very wary of an organization that makes you pay up front.They also took $95 to diagnosis a Mac as having a bad logic board and told me it was a total loss. I took the mac to another shop and they had no problems reloading the operating system to make the computer operational again.Customer service was horrible. Had to call to get updates after they never called back when they said they would. They lied about calling and leaving updates with my spouse. They are just the worst ever. Please go out of business soon.

If I could give a rating of -100 stars I would!My father took in my daughters iPad to have the cracked screen repaired and was told that it also had sever water damage. This was a complete lie! The iPad worked just fine other then the little crack in the top right corner. I informed my father of this when he called me from their store to tell me what they were claiming and how expensive it was all going to be. The amount of money they charged my father was CRAZY! My kids and I live in TN so I was not there to call BS on Mac Masters and take it somewhere else so unfortunately they suckered my poor father into getting a used iPad from their store. My gut feeling....which I told my father at the time...was that they were going to use my daughters perfectly new iPad to sell in their store and sell him a crappy used one...which they did. My father mailed the iPad out to TN along with my MacBook Pro he had them repair as well. They charged him $800 for a screen repair on my MacBook and lied about its true condition as well to scam him even more. When it all arrived in TN it was in awful condition. The screen repair was messy and had glue all over it and the iPad touch screen did not work at all! Oh and it was a glue mess as well....looked like a 5 year old fixed it. I called my dad, who at this point is beyond pissed and said he would take it back to them to have it fixed. So he made another trip to their store, had to pay even more fees and was given another iPad. My father mailed it out to us AGAIN and it had the same problem PLUS it had not been wiped and was filled with the previous owners private information. Text, pictures, ect. I did a reset on the iPad (that was CLEARY stolen) but was unable to clear the other owners info. I made a call to them today to see if I could bring it in while I was in town with my father for the holidays and the guy I spoke to JOSH, who claimed he was the manager, was SHOCKINGLY RUDE right off the bat. He would not allow me to finish a sentence, he told me multiple times to chill out for no reason at all. It was SUPER creepy. He was argumentative and strangely defensive before I even had a chance to explain what was going on with the iPad. RED FLAG!! Every time I would try and speak he would interrupt, laugh at me and tell me I was not listening. He even told me to BE QUIET multiple times!! THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND HAVE NO CARE FOR THEIR COSTUMERS! They lie to over charge and they steal their customers perfectly good devices and resell them broken ones in exchange for a VERY HEFTY PRICE and they are clearly selling stollen devices. They claim to be apart of the BBB but THEY ARE NOT, I checked. On the BBB website there are other complaints about the same stuff I went through. This company needs to be turned in and shut down. *DO NOT EVER GO TO MAC MASTERS* I am not one to write reviews but I feel obligated to do so after my experience with Mac Masters so that others know the truth about who they really are. I strongly believe any good reviews on this company are fake.

Im so happy i found this place! I broke my new iPad and apparently no one in town knows or has the parts to fix it. Mac masters saved my day and repaired my iPad the same day i dropped it off at their Scottsdale location. Very friendly and honest staff. Im telling all my friends to go here for their Apple gadgets.
