Worst car wash in AZ. They set it to move vehicles through so fast that NOTHING gets clean and you get the added bonus of having your car damaged when their tattered and worn out equipment hooks on to your windshield wipers and rips them off your vehicle. Management is, let’s just say, less than capable of doing much more than remembering to breath. Far better options for getting your vehicle clean and not broken.

THIS location, they’ve always been very careful when guiding your car onto automatic tracks entering car wash.NOT every location does this… 9/10 at the other locations, the person is usually looking around anywhere EXCEPT the wheels of your car yet they continue to wave you forward. THIS LOCATION DOES NOT DO that!! Here, they have always paid attention as they guide your vehicle in.Also, their vacuums have always had strong suction and are never clogged!I’d give this location 5/5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Terrible car wash and nowhere near worth the money. Couldn’t believe the amount of soap left on my car when I left. The car was did an awful job of rinsing the car. And drying for that matter. Will never come back to this car wash.

Top notch service without hassle & worries, Ive experienced it first and will continue to enjoy the lets go wash the car time we need living in such a hot, dry, dusty State! Many available packages, vacuum, and a cool gas station to hang around if you want to waste some time. Just park adjacent or across the street cause the place (gas station) is busy delivering working the butt offs for Yall! GWEN!NO PICTURE. YET!⭕❤😇🇺🇲🖐

Terrible place, do not go. I work up this morning and they had double charged my account,placing my bank account in the negative. I called at least 5 locations and 4 of them didnt even answer after 730am,when theyOpen. I went to the S ottsdale location to speak to assistant manager and he didnt even give me the time of day. Said I had to go to another location,its financially not set up to help me. So basically their choosing money over customer service. I got more help from a sales associate than the assistant manager. I have been a loyal customer for several years. Not no more. Do not go. You will be sorry

Worst detail job Ive ever had done! Drive thru car wash if pretty good, do not pay for any additional services. Paid for $199 complete exterior and interior detail. Exterior look the same as when dropped it off, interior had a lot of armor all smeared every where, most surfaces wiped down and vacuumed but still lots of dirt and residue, front passenger seat did not look like it had been touched. Again, dont pay for additional work, just do the drive thru wash, dry and vacuum yourself.

The owner Mark McDowell is a Christian faith based man which is great but was ready to fire an employee over being agnostic and also didnt respond to inboxes and messages left about returning belongings of the employee back to him because they didnt see eye to eye on religion and spiritual faith. 8 months later, after contacting every known person that could be of help on returning belongings and leaving nothinf but respectful mesaages despite frustration he still refuses to get involved or help the employee and would rather sit on his high horse and drive around in his blue play toy that he bought after selling to watershed.

Basic wash left dirt still on my car but vacuums were good.

Terrible service and poor employees. I get the basic wash at other locations and my truck comes out spotless and dry. This location did not run all the scrubbers and the truck was soaked. When I asked employees about it compared to other location I was told that’s how it’s programmed. Was also told every car comes out wet and that is why we have towels...that you have to buy! Will not be back to this location.

Their entry signage is confusing and they did a poor job cleaning my mid-size SUV. When they were done, there were still bugs all over the front of my vehicle, water spots on all the metallic trim and half my windows, and the windshield was still covered in dead bugs. Before pulling away, pointed out several of these things, so the man there could try to finish cleaning my car properly... but I found more issues after I left. I will not return to this car wash.

Well, I wasnt too happy. My car was still quite dirty after a 15.00 wash. I went back and told them and they ran it through one more time for free. I got out and vacuumed it and wiped it down. Not the first time this happened.

Avoid this place! It is a rushed economy auto-wash trying to sell you a difficult-to-cancel membership for a TERRIBLE “wash” which has such dirty water your car will look worse afterwards. The one star i gave is for the vacuums; they must be new because they work great. But otherwise, the kid who sold it to me said it was easy to cancel if I didn’t like the wash; I’m picky so I said we’ll see. It was whack. But then when I went to the links provided on the mile-long receipt, it was inaccessible. Wow guys, avoid this place at all costs. You can find 10 washes within 10 minutes of here and they’re all better.

Todays visit was less than stellar. The air hoses were either broken or turned off? But there was no signage saying either... so spoty car it is... the vacuums were so so. Its hit or miss at this location.

The wash charges you 5 dollars for the first month then 30 bucks for the next month. The five dollars a month would not be so bad but the wash itself doesnt really clean the car that well water left everywhere and parts of the grill and back window. Windshield still dirty after running it through once. Good customer service though.

Called 3 times to acquire more information on a deal one of the guys pitched to me a week or so ago for a car wax and leather interior protection service for I believe 50% off, or something like that, they kept answering then hanging up on me. I have a fast past membership with this location, I’m canceling TODAY!

The car wash is over priced for what you get. Im guessing this is why they give you a free wash so you can run it through for the second time.. They definitely dont put enough soap and dont have a wheel cleaner. For being in Scottsdale you think it would be a Top Notch car wash but isnt. They dont offer drying towels, they charge you for them. Will not return to Clean Freak.

No water or soap was dispensed during the cycle. Ive been very pleased before so Ill be back. But I was disappointed they still collected money despite the known outage. I would have stayed for a refund like others did but I was in a rush today. I just feel cheated.

Went in the drive thru. Bad experience some areas of my car didnt get touch by the equipment something was malfunctioning. I did take my car back the next day. Took it thru again (NO CHARGE)

This place is slipping. I feel like theyve recently sped up the conveyor and reduced the amount of water used. Even the more expensive washes send your car into the brushes mostly dry with just a bit of foam. This is gonna scratch the hell out of your paint finish. The conveyor is moving so fast your car will still be dripping wet when you leave the tunnel.It you need a quick wash go to Costco instead. Its cheaper and much better.The detail services have never impressed me. Ive paid for the carpet cleaning at least twice ($40) and hardly noticed a difference. Carpet was barely damp and the interior work was hasty and incomplete.The best thing about this car wash are the free vacuums and the air hoses to finish drying your car.

Never had a problem with them, and have been going for about a year multiple days a week. I wish they were open longer hours though!

The place gets the job done, but on more than one occasion, Ive gone in the afternoon, and theyve been out of soap. Theyll still let your car go through, which is kind of ridiculous, but it is what it is. Thats the only gripe Ive ever had here.

$5 wash means over half of the brushes are turned off. No presoak, No side brushes or windshield brushes. Just soapy rain, rag curtain, rinse water and blower. Still bugs on windshield when I left. Total Jip.

2 stars for their performance on detailing my car. It took 2 hours and it still was not clean. (some photos included). I would however use them again for their upholstery cleaning.

The car wash its self hardly cleaned anything!! No towles to wipe the cars down with and half the vacuums dont have enough power to clean with. I left super mad I just wasted 15 bucks to pretty much get a slight rinse off!

The attendants improperly loaded the automated wash line. The car ahead went into reverse and hit my car. All the manager was concerned with was absolving the car wash from any responsibility. Bad customer service!

Horrible car wash, cleaned only one side of my car.

I was passing by and wanted to have a quick car wash and found this nearby. Staff are professional; when asked them this is first time and which one would be perfect as am just passing by he quickly suggested express total body wash. $12 is a decent price for a total body wash and I opted for it. Express Car wash is okay, not bad. There are lots of bird droppings on top of the car & on the windshield. They got cleaned by 80% and still I had to clean myself. My experience with other car wash service was that they do a quick clean after the express wash. Anyway, the unlimited vacuum cleaner is free, unlike other wash services who provide a 2min or coin based vacuum cleaner.Overall, if your car has hard dust like bird droppings then you should expect to do your own cleaning after Express wash. Otherwise, you can simply enjoy the car wash!

Was up in the area, used to the Similar style washes near us, unfortunately not Impressed. The staff was courteous, but quality of the actual wash was subpar (and I purchased the highest level - Ceramic). Blowers at the end sped through, not drying much. Other washes in Gilbert/Chandler area offer dry towels to use for free. Here you buy, and unfortunately pre-packaged so they don’t dry worth anything (you need pre-washes towels). Can’t say I’d return here when in the area.

Their machines for fast pass and checking out seems to be broken half the time. Waiting to get a car wash the attendant was talking to the person in the truck ahead of me for at least 5 minutes, didn’t wait around any longer than that. There were two vehicles behind me waiting and two others that could exit the area because of the backed up line. The attendant didn’t care or come over to let us know if there was something other than his conversation holding up the traffic. Never going back to that car wash. You can go to Danny’s on Wednesdays and get $12.50 car wash and they do the vacuuming for you.

This is a pretty good car wash. The equipment is new and it usually does a pretty good job getting my car clean, though it doesnt dry completely. They sell microfiber towels, though I just bring my own to dry things off before I leave. The only real negative I experienced is the first time I went in, they gave me a free unlimited pass for the rest of the month as a promo, which then proceeded to renew itself and charge me every month, which I did not agree to, nor did the cashier mention it (I did receive an email after a couple weeks). I cancelled it after a few months, as I wasnt using it enough.

I write this review to shed light on the larger, parent company that owns all of the Clean Freak facilities. Although my incident took place at the Via Linda location, my experience in the last 10 years was always pleasant and I was satisfied with their wash services.Below is an account of a recent damage incident incurred at the hands of their automated wash machine. After filing an incident report, the Via Linda Clean Freak management team informed me that they would only partially cover the damage and with no warranty of work/repair. That the decision to deny liability coverage by their insurance was one made by their regional office (eg. corporate). This wasnt just wiper or some other minor accident. The machine ripped off my passenger side view mirror and I later found scratches in the same area. I am now eating a deductible with car insurance. Additionally, I was mislead by Clean Freak the entire time and instead of repairing my vehicle immediately (so it was safe to drive), I waited for them to respond which took over 7 days. See below for details and make your own judgement as to whether or not this is a company you want to support. I dont blame the Via Linda location and instead cant believe the absolute lack of support from corporate. I get it, automated machines are imperfect but that is why you have corporate liability insurance, right? I was told that mirrors get damaged frequently to the tune of about once a month. Regardless of how accurate that is, what kind of company opts to not leverage their own insurance? Immediately upon exiting the machine, I pulled into the detail area where an attendant approached me and apologized. He proceeded to have me fill out an incident form and said that I would hear back in about 2 days. He took pictures and I left. Shortly after I decided to call and establish lines of communication and spoke with a supervisor named Josh. He told me I would hear back on status of the incident by end of day 11/24 (Tues) as it required review by the regional office - no one called me on 11/24. I called and left voicemails for Josh on 11/25 and later that day he called back. He indicated that regional rejected the claim and that the local Via Linda facility would do their best to come to a resolution. He offered to have his staff repair the mirror (note they are not certified mechanics) and to reimburse up $150 in the form of gift cards towards the cost of the mirror part itself. I asked them to first confirm the price of a part on their end as it makes no sense for me to agree to any compensation without knowing the actual cost. Turns out the mirror cost ranges from $250 to 750 depending on how you source it and type of mirror needed (eg. paint match, features). Of course, my mirror has cameras built in, auto-dimming, and is Blue. All of which meant the cost was going to be on the high end. I rejected the offer and asked them to reconsider something more appropriate. I then spoke with the site manager (Chris) who stated that they could credit me an additional $100 (onto my credit card) and still include a gift card for $150.Outcome: I opted not to accept the offer and instead filed a claim with my insurance. I would rather eat the cost of my deductible than have work performed without any warranty and the tune of compensation via gift cards. At this time, my insurance has properly located me a certified repair shot. The estimate for work is $1100 for the mirror alone and could go up if they find more damage. As for the scratches, the quote to properly repair was in the thousands and is pending further inspection to get a more accurate estimate.

Really like this car wash and the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for a good car wash at a decent price I would check this out.

I scheduled a detail with em, and I thought they have a very special service, the detail called interior super clean and seats clean.. they charged me 55$ and they did absolutely nothing, just a regular cleaning. Folks, I assure you you can clean your car like that in your driveway. Long story short. Theres nothing special about car details in this carwash. Its good if you use it as regular daily carwash not for details.... If you check the picture it shows there bunch of spot and finger prints all around the car.. last time I take my car somewhere in Phoenix ( dont want to call its name), they charge me 85 $ and it was awesome ... They details inside the car like champ.. dont take your car here for details...

Not sure if my Hyundai sits too low or if the automatic car wash had problems. Lots of skipped areas on the front bumper, hood, roof, trunk and under side mirrors. Not worth $5.

It was okay - car was still dirty once we got out of car wash - they need to do up keep on all there locations - not the best car wash we had been to - staff was nice - but corporate is not taking care of the location.

Great place for the monthly price. You dont have to pay monthly, you could pay as you go, but for $14/month, unlimited car washes, free vacuums, air compressor to blow of the excess water off so you dont get water marks... You cant beat it! Just dont take an expensive car through the wash... Youll end up with thousands of scratches and pieces of the flaps from the wash machines will end up in little creases in the plastics: reflectors, head lights, tail lights, door crevices, etc...

Powerful vacuums and had air compressors to use. Clean facility my only gripe is I wish the car wash did a better job. it felt like the car was raced through the auto carwash.

Can I just say this place is awesome. I read the reviews and one stated that the interior shampooing was great so I took a chance. I had spilled a large cup of coffee, latte with a flavored caramel vanilla creamer, and you could just smell it. It just smelled of old creamer. The day I spilled it I was going somewhere so I couldnt have it done right then, and they closed by the time I was able to get there. So I wasnt able to clean a seat at till the next day. I was so worried about bacteria and mold forming. He extracted all of the coffee and there is no leftover smell whatsoever. I am so pleased and I will definitely be back. They use organic cleaners as well. They also detailed the car as I only needed the one seat done and they went above and beyond. My car smelled and looked fantastic by the time I left. Extra kudos to the gentleman who shampooed my front seat, I cant thank him enough.

It may be inexpensive but you get what you pay for. In no way does it compare with Costcos car wash. The quality, thoroughness and reliability are significantly better at Costco. The downside with Costco, no covered bays to vacuum and dry your vehicle.

Attendant never pre-sprayed any thing leaving bugs on the front end and windshield. The rear of the vehicle was never touched by any brushes. Looked just like it did before I drove in.

A great low cost fast car wash

Did a good job....forgot carpets though, thats why only 4 stars. Its a little hard to maneuver around their lot unless youre familiar with it though. It would help if the signage were better (stop here, pay here....etc...)

Great car wash! I get one of the unlimited monthly specials, as I drive for Lyft and need to wash and vacuum my car often. What a FANTASTIC deal! I can have my car washed as many times as needed during the month for less than I paid to drive it by hand, myself, at another place. The car wash is gentle to my car, and the vacuums have great suction. They even provide towels to use while you are there!

Good car wash!

I have the Clean Freak fast pass where I have unlimited full service washes which is great. Unfortunately, I was informed this morning that theyve changed their full service hours to 9-5. Because this location is conveniently located off of the 101, It was easy to get my car washed heading into work and on my way home. I already have our other vehicle set up with Cobblestones fast pass and since their hours are more customer friendly from 7-6 Ill have to start taking my car there instead.

I have a monthly membership there, so the fact I can go every day is pretty cool. Problem is that quite often the reverse rinse for the backup mirrors do not come on and the back of the vehicle does not get dried. Occasionally the roller skips underneath the front wheel and I have to wait for the next one in order to get pulled through. I give the employees there 5 stars though as they are very professional and are willing to help you out at every stage of the carwash. They even help you out if you accidentally left your truck bed cover open. Great group.

I go to Clean Freak car wash at least twice a week for washing mycar outside and inside. There is usually no line and I bought a $16.00a month pass which is a great buy. I used to go to AZ Car Wash in Indian Bend and paid a lot more for a book of 10 washes. I am pleased with the service and washing I get at Clean Freak.

A picture is worth a thousand words... so heres the final product after the Interior Super Clean detailing service (...I do believe we call that a misnomer).The similar results in the cup holders, plus the scuffs across the entire exterior of the trunk were an outstanding bonus as well.Great work, guys.

Great facility for the DIYer who doesnt have a space at home or simply wants to speed up the job. $5 dollar wash, bug & wheel wash station, covered vacuum bays, what more can you ask for. Though I am considerate of others, no employee has tried to rush me off or tell me I was taking too long. I do most of my car detailing at home but still use this place from time to time, to lessen my work load. So much easier when its time to clean the truck! A great place that I would recommend to anyone in the area.

This is that type of place you expect everything to be automatic and not have to interact with any annoying, clueless humans who make you wonder why they are working a service gig in the first place. Then they surprise you with natural excellence. Sincerity. At least 4 times this has happened to me at this location. Yeah, 4 different relatively young humans working the front end of a car wash. Love it.

My big diesel truck fits through the car wash, and it does a decent job. Nice to be able to just run it through and use their vacuums for a quickie... or pay for the full service and it gets super nice and shiny and clean windows! Love this place.

I did an Express Drive Thru car wash. The trunk of my car and bottoms stayed dirty: bottom of the actual doors and below the door where you can see, the water and the brushes didn’t even touch it. The representative told me “that’s what you get for $5 wash, it’s just a “rinse”, however all other places wash the bottom of the car. So do not waste your $5 at this place because half of your car will be cleaned and another half won’t.

I started liking this place but then the car wash got rougher and rougher. Also claims to be spotless but not so much. The last two car washes I had ripped off my European sign in the front of my vehicle. Which proves something is wrong lately as I went many times through the wash just fine. And I was told it happened to someone velar as well. The first time it was just the plastic frame that they did replace. After the replacement, I told them to retract the side brushes the next time as I was instructed. That time it completely tore up my metal European license on the front and they refused to replace the metal part that they never had to replace before. I guess they were fine with losing a customer over $29. The shift manager told me Id heard from the district manager (Scott Oxman) but I never did. Thats poor customer service in my mind. Both times I was told Id be contacted within 48 hours but both times I had to keep on them. Go at your own risk!!

The last two time i was in the employees didnt touch my car for at least ten min. This is totally unacceptable. Each time they had to run the car through a second time because it had dried and had spots. I could understand if they were busy but they were not. I bring my car in at least three times per week and expect, at least an effort to get it cleaned on a timely fashion. I am a monthly subscriber from the time you opened.

It says it is open until 7 but I arrive 20 minutes before and it was not open. Awesome

Bought a gift card for $100 from the website that specifically says it is valid for “any single wash or detail cart item”. I drive 25 miles out of my way to the Scottsdale, Via Linda location where I am told by the manager Graig, that they will not accept the gift card for the detail cart item I wanted to use it for. I showed him the part on the website that says it can be used for a detailing cart item and he said to call the customer service number. I asked for a refund and he again told me to call the customer service number. I called the number several times and nobody answered. Terrible experience, do not spend money here.

OMG the waxing service took forever, they also told me I wouldnt be able to get out any light scratches which was BS I proved them wrong, the guy was going so slowly but not efficiently, they also tried to justify to me that using hardly any Wax would be effective. They just kept arguing and not working real hard to make it right. I tried to tell them to cover it adequately but it was very spotty, not timely or thorough.

My favorite location in the Phoenix area. The membership is a good deal. Easy to get in/out and full service is an option at this one.

Their phone system says to go online to schedule a service, but there is no way to do that on their website. And nobody answers the phone. So...... any recommendations on an easier to deal with detailing place?

There services are reasonably priced and the automated car wash does as good a job as any other. The hand drying/cleaning could use a little work as they only do a quick once over and tend to miss parts of the dash and windshield. The staff is friendly though.

I only bought a basic wash, but the employees were nice and the wash was decent. Had to wipe down my streaky windows and get excess water off the tail end of my car, but all that is to be expected. Love the free vacuums and maybe next time Ill upgrade my wash.

Im so sad. I been going here since it opened....but I just spent 22 dollars. They cleaned my car under a min. So there was still bugs, dry wet marks, and my inside of my car was still a bit dusty. The guy that was there just seemed over his day. I understand its hot. And it suuuucks. But a little effort would be nice. Hate to see this place go down hill.

Free vacuums

I’ve had a love/hate relationship with this chain and particular location for a few years now. The car wash itself doesn’t always get my car as clean as some others, but now that they’re getting more locations I’ve found some to be much better. The detail services I’ve received in the past have been somewhat lackluster, but I just have to say that the guys at Clean Freak this evening (between 4:30 and 5:20 pm on April 12) were absolutely fantastic and have totally regained my loyalty. They were so kind, accommodating, and not in the least bit phased by my dog-hair-covered seats. They made quick work of cleaning my upholstery and did the best detail job I’ve had at this place in the two years that I’ve been a member. I don’t think the seats or interior have been this clean since the car was brand new. They were even excited to chat about my dogs and wished I would have brought them around to say hi! I wish I would have gotten their names, but I will remain a customer as long as these guys are around. Don’t lose them!

Great way to be driving a clean car all the time you can detail it yourself over to the side and vacuum it out and blow out the extra water. Make it easy and affordable 😁😁
