We did not end up hiring TraVek. Three months of planning and prep just couldnt bring this project across the finish line, so were going to do the remodel ourselves. See, once TraVek gets the idea of how they think your remodel should go, your plans no longer matter. We wanted a simple kitchen remodel with no walls removed. But TraVek insisted that removing walls is all the rage and wed be foolish not to go that route, or at least that was the implication. So, when we were shown the rendering of the job, it was clear that no one was listening to us. The wall between the kitchen and living room was gone in the renderings. Granted, it looked stylish, but were not big fans of having our living smell like last nights stir fry. We were so excited to see the renderings. But our excitement quickly gave way to disappointment when we saw that our plans and wishes were not being embraced by TraVek, not to mention scant regard for our budget. Driving away from TraVek that day was a sad drive. We had such high hopes.But everyone at TraVek is friendly, so I do want to end this on a positive note.B Thomas, Sdale

Travek, Inc demolished a Four Seasons modular sun room under my covered porch and rebuilt a lovely Arizona room with standard construction including a raised foundation and fully framed walls. The quality of construction was excellent and surpasses that of my 30-year-old UDC track home. The room, about 400 sq ft, cost about $45K and included 4 dual pane windows, 2 Arcadia doors and one standard door. The room is a lovely and practical addition to my home. My only complaint is they gave me a too rosy picture of the project duration which was 75% over the original 8-week estimate when done. Most delays were out of their control (city inspections, sub-contractor availability, etc) but I would have been a bit less frustrated if Id had a more reasonable expectation of the time needed. All company personnel were easy to work with - Particularly the project supervisor,/Mgrs, Mark & David. I highly recommend this builder to anyone.

I wish I could give more stars but in order to properly rate this company, they would have to have actually done some work. Travek came out to look at my job, which I wouldnt call large but it was still about a $50k exterior facelift and a small addition. After one month.. no response back. I reached out for a status report and they said they were trying to get the stucco guy out for his bid.. another 2 months.. no response. I crossed them off the list at this point. Im in sales and the lack of a sense of urgency I see in service companies these days is astonishing. I understand that when construction is in high demand like it is now, these types of companies prioritize more lucrative jobs or over bid smaller ones in hopes they dont have to do them but at the very least, let a prospective customer know that you have no interest in their job instead of ignoring them. Horrible business practice. When I do the $300k interior remodel next year Travek wont be on the bid list.

Thomas is outstanding. He is very diligent knocking out multiple repairs with each visit. He cares about accuracy and quality doing the job correctly, safely and respecting my home is apparent. He’s kind and thorough about explaining installations when I ask and has terrific follow through when planning and scheduling the next visit.

Rodney was wonderful! He added a light to our ceiling fan, fixed some weak breaker issues, repaired a massive door gap and unaligned locks, fixed numerous sink and toilet issues, and is coordinating some shower leak repairs for us. We will DEFINITELY be using Rodney to service our company condos again. He was 5 minutes early, professional, efficient, polite, and very very clearly communicated with me what he planned to do, obtained my approval first, showed me what he bought, and how he fixed things. THANK YOU, RODNEY!

Talo was who came over. He was great! He had to do electrical work and install a ceiling fan. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy. Highly recommend this company!!

We needed some electrical work done and Talo did a great job. Now all our office cords are hidden in a closet. Nothing was left undone, everything was nicely finished and clean. Very pleased.

Apparently has a good reputation, but someone in a truck with their markings on the back window drove in an unsafe and discourteous manner in September, on Cactus Rd. His actions drew my attention to what he was doing. The first stunt was directly discourteous to me. As I approached a red traffic signal, I was almost alone on the road, traveling at the speed limit. As I began to slow for the stop light, the driver in the pickup passed my truck on the right, and then did the dirty deed, cutting into my lane and drastically reducing my safe stopping distance. Three open lanes and the creep cut me off. A mile further down the road, the creep went around a pickup truck approaching a red light, cutting him off even worse than he did to me. If this company wants bad publicity, keep the creep driving around with the company logo in the window.

Update 11/11/20: Bathroom is done! Tile guys finished up, but the project manager had to touch up a few spots. I guess Travek contracts out to subcontractors making it a little more difficult to get the perfect contractor. I was hoping it would be all Travek inhouse experts, but theyve been pretty busy for that.Except for the tile guy that quit that day, and delay on tile, everything else went pretty smooth.They were all very professional and friendly. My wife, me, and pets appreciated that they worked very well with our hectic work schedules. We also didnt think twice about giving them the code to our door for when we werent home so they could go in. Big plus in my book for being very trustworthy.Work is guaranteed for two years which is great! One of the reasons to go with them. As I mentioned it was 20K. More than I wanted to spend originally, but after trying to get four other companies/contractors to come out and flaking out on me I figured that was a sign.I have of course tried going cheap on other projects, and that didnt work very well. So Ive learned from this experience that good quality work is worth the extra money.They include all the material, unless you want to specifically provide something yourself in which case they dont have a problem with.They have three options on financing for those that would prefer, or have to go that route. The options are very reasonable. Including a zero interest same as cash as long as its paid off in 12 month (Im pretty sure it was 12 months).Overall I definitely recommend Travek and their team. Will use them myself on future projects. After this is paid off of course.Almost forgot to say. We love the results of our new bathroom!Thank you Travek team

We were have a hard time finding someone to repair our mailbox. TraVek called us back. Thomas was on time, very personable and knowledgeable. He came for an estimate and then came back to do the masonry. The mailbox looks great and the curb appeal of our house is vastly improved.

Awesome company. They do everything (electric, plumbing, drywall etc) under one company umbrella which makes projects a breeze. My tech thomas was particularly awesom👍

We hired TraVek to build a 12x14 addition to the master bedroom. Everything was handled very professionally from our initial meeting with Todd to the actual construction headed by Mark. The estimate was very detailed, so we were all on the same page. We were impressed by how they paid attention to details of matching the trim, inside and out, to the rest of the house. They were honest, dependable, and up to date on the codes. Every day they cleaned up before they left. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.We were especially pleased with how well the workers were careful not to let our dogs escape.

I hired Travel’s handyman service to fix some big cracks along our parapets on my house. Rod Silvernale came out and not only filled, sealed, and painted them, but found and repaired additional similar cracks on an adjoining wall that I didn’t know were there. 1st class service. Prompt and fairly priced.

TraVek recently completed a remodel of our kitchen, hall bathroom, and master bathroom with Dan Schmidt as our lead carpenter. We were thrilled with the quality of the work. Dan kept us posted on the progress and answered any questions we had as the work progressed. As with any remodel, we encountered a few unexpected situations. Dan patiently worked through those issues and solved all of them. Dan quickly earned our trust with his professionalism and quality of workmanship. We would definitely give Dan and TraVek our highest recommendation.

I initially saw this company on Instagram and began following them to see their work. I reached out via message on Instagram with a question and they responded with a few days. Less than a week later I had Rodney one of their employees at my house doing my repairs. Rodney was early for our appointment answered all my questions and told me step by step how the project would be done.This company has amazing employees and even better costumer service. I went to a seminar they gave on what to do before remodeling. Wow! They really do focus on integrity! This was a show and tell with lots of information and no pressure to purchase services. Their work speaks ft. Or itself.

These remodelers are great. We had our kitchen, 3 bathrooms and, laundry room done while we lived in our home. David was our main guy doing the remodel and he was terrific! He did our remodel in stages and it was done on time and believe it or not with minimal mess. Ive recommended them to neighbors and friends. These guys deliver as promised!

Dont waste your time. Call someone else. Well I guess I cant knock their work cause they simply ignored us and never called back. Real glad we took their word and waited 2 weeks for a response and never heard back. They came out to our house, got the idea of what we wanted and were supposed to write up something and get back with us. 3 days later we called them to see how things were going. We were told Oh, someone else is working on your job. We will have everything ready for you in a couple days. 2 weeks later, nothing. I got their recommendation from the radio so I assumed they were reputable. We were willing to pay extra for a big professional company. What a bust. I guess theyre too big for our $50,000.

I have had 2 projects done by Travek, a kitchen/family room remodel and a bathroom remodel. Both projects were high quality work and done in a timely manner. Dan Schmidt was in charge of the bathroom remodel and he did all the tile work. He does outstanding tile work, I was very impressed with the final result. Both projects really improved our house.

Travek did awesome work transforming five rooms in my home all at once! It started with Hans Raisanen listening to the all of the details that were important to me. Then Sam Browning managed the process to make the house look just like the photo Id approved. Each day everything was cleaned up making it easy to patiently wait for the end result which is something I enjoy every day! Thank you.

Low-balled us at the initial estimate saying they could remodel our shower for $13K, which was higher than everyone else. We specifically told them that the $13K was over our budget but we wanted it done right so were willing to save some more money to have them work on it; they assured us that this estimate would be very close to the final quote. After paying the design fee, the quote came to over $19K (nothing changed on our end). Even after us pulling back on some wants, the price NEVER got even close to the initial $13K estimate. Im sure they do good, professional work but I couldnt get past the bait and switch tactic. I can understand the quote changing $500-1,000 but $6K? No, thank you!

The team at Travek is amazing. The process and installation were very easy and professional. Our sales representative was Thom Pitschke and he followed the project through completion. He was very honest and thorough in his quote and there were no surprise charges or add ones. He was very easy to work with. He also followed up with us near the end of our one year warranty period to be sure that any existing issues could be corrected under warranty.The installation leader / master carpenter, David was great as well. Very professional and thorough. The project was completed on time and as quoted.Overall, Travek was a great organization to work with and I would use them again for remodeling projects in the future.

They claim to do High end work but in reality they have no idea what that means. Their president VON, is very condescending and arrogant. No hint of an apology. We had to get the Registrar of Contractors involved. They had to come back 3 times and we were still only given Minimum industry standards. The ROC even stated that they gave only minimum industry standards. That does not sound like High end work to me. I dont even give them one star. A job that should have only taken two weeks, took more than 4 months to finish. We are still looking for someone to come fix what they did. They lie about what they do and we were scammed out of $18,000. Dont hire them!

In October of 2016, Travek completed a remodeling job consisting of building a porch, putting stucco on two sides of my house, and painting the entire house. Todd and Von were wonderful to work with, and two of their associates, Shawn and Adam did extremely professional jobs.
