I just go in for a trim every 6 weeks or so but Nick treats me like a king. Hes helpful, friendly and down-to-earth, not overbearing. I always feel neat and well-groomed when I leave. The barber shop is bright, clean and well-appointed. Highly recommended.

Always answers the phone and makes it easy to schedule, then upon arrival...Nick is a very experienced and skilled barber and is able to execute on whatever you ask him to do. Ive been going to Nick for over a year now. I started seeing him at his location near the corner of Tatum Blvd. & Cave Creek Rd. This location has the look and feel of a barbershop from the 50s or 60s which I love. It is classy, professional, and relaxing. Especially when youre leaned back in the chair getting a straight razor shave with Sinatra playing in the background. His new location is new and clean so doesnt have the same feel but the service is the same. I wont go to anyone else so followed him to his new location. Nick is classy and professional and gives me the best hair cut.Nick also fixes watches/jewelery and replaces batteries. A year ago I tried to replace a battery in my watch by myself. I broke the stem and several of the hour markers came off. Nick replaced the stem and put the hour markers back on and I cant even tell the difference. I thought for sure there would be glue or something that oozed out from under the tiny little pieces. It looks like it did before I broke it. The pieces have not come off. Nick is amazing!

Im new to the area and have was looking for a new place to get my hair cut. I havent had a ton of experiences with barber shops, so I feel the same way stepping into one as someone would stepping into a gym after not really using one before - painfully aware of inexperience with how to do things, self-conscious of how I look, but also hopeful that it will turn out great. This was exacerbated because I was wanting to try out a new cut I hadnt had before. My experience with Nick was nothing but positive. I explained what I wanted, showed him a picture, and he did the rest. The environment was classy and laid back (theres something classic about listening to Frank Sinatra as you get a cut) and Nick was obviously experienced and very professional. He cleaned up both my hair and my beard. I am definitely going back to Nicks and would recommend him to anyone.

Nick is not good, HES GREAT. I tried 6 different stylists/barbers in two years before I found Nick. I have used him for the last 4 years. He is consistently great. He listens to you and is fairly priced. You will not go wrong if you go to him, in fact you will never go back to anyone else. Give him a try, you wont be disappointed.
